  23 H5922 ועל against H4756 מרא the Lord H8065 שׁמיא of heaven; H7313 התרוממת But hast lifted up thyself H3984 ולמאניא the vessels H1768 די of H1005 ביתה his house H858 היתיו and they have brought H6925 קדמיך before H607 ואנתה thee, and thou, H7261 ורברבניך and thy lords, H7695 שׁגלתך thy wives, H3904 ולחנתך and thy concubines, H2562 חמרא wine H8355 שׁתין have drunk H426 בהון ולאלהי the gods H3702 כספא of silver, H1722 ודהבא and gold, H5174 נחשׁא of brass, H6523 פרזלא iron, H636 אעא wood, H69 ואבנא and stone, H1768 די which H3809 לא not, H2370 חזין see H3809 ולא nor H8086 שׁמעין hear, H3809 ולא nor H3046 ידעין know: H7624 שׁבחת in them; and thou hast praised H426 ולאלהא and the God H1768 די in whose H5396 נשׁמתך thy breath H3028 בידה hand H3606 וכל and whose all H735 ארחתך thy ways, H3809 לה לא hast thou not H1922 הדרת׃ glorified:

  24 H116 באדין Then H4481 מן from H6925 קדמוהי from H7972 שׁליח sent H6447 פסא was the part H1768 די of H3028 ידא the hand H3792 וכתבא writing H1836 דנה him; and this H7560 רשׁים׃ was written.

  25 H1836 ודנה And this H3792 כתבא the writing H1768 די that H7560 רשׁים was written, H4484 מנא MENE, H4484 מנא MENE, H8625 תקל TEKEL, H6537 ופרסין׃ UPHARSIN.

  26 H1836 דנה This H6591 פשׁר the interpretation H4406 מלתא of the thing: H4484 מנא MENE; H4483 מנה hath numbered H426 אלהא God H4437 מלכותך thy kingdom, H8000 והשׁלמה׃ and finished

  27 H8625 תקל TEKEL; H8625 תקילתה Thou art weighed H3977 במאזניא in the balances, H7912 והשׁתכחת and art found H2627 חסיר׃ wanting.

  28 H6537 פרס PERES; H6537 פריסת is divided, H4437 מלכותך Thy kingdom H3052 ויהיבת and given H4076 למדי to the Medes H6540 ופרס׃ and Persians.

  29 H116 באדין Then H560 אמר commanded H1113 בלשׁאצר Belshazzar, H3848 והלבישׁו and they clothed H1841 לדניאל Daniel H711 ארגונא with scarlet, H2002 והמונכא and a chain H1768 די of H1722 דהבא gold H5922 על about H6676 צוארה his neck, H3745 והכרזו and made a proclamation H5922 עלוהי concerning H1768 די him, that H1934 להוא he should be H7990 שׁליט ruler H8531 תלתא the third H4437 במלכותא׃ in the kingdom.

  30 H3916 בה בליליא In that night H6992 קטיל slain. H1113 בלאשׁצר was Belshazzar H4430 מלכא the king H3779 כשׂדיא׃ of the Chaldeans

  31 H1868 ודריושׁ And Darius H4077 מדיא the Median H6902 קבל took H4437 מלכותא the kingdom, H1247 כבר old. H8140 שׁנין years H8361 שׁתין about threescore H8648 ותרתין׃ and two

  20 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H3117 ביום day, H7992 השׁלישׁי the third H3117 יום birthday, H3205 הלדת birthday, H853 את   H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H6213 ויעשׂ that he made H4960 משׁתה a feast H3605 לכל unto all H5650 עבדיו his servants: H5375 וישׂא and he lifted up H853 את   H7218 ראשׁ the head H8269 שׂר of the chief H4945 המשׁקים butler H853 ואת   H7218 ראשׁ   H8269 שׂר and of the chief H644 האפים baker H8432 בתוך among H5650 עבדיו׃ his servants.

  3 H8141 בשׁנת year H7969 שׁלושׁ In the third H4427 למלכו of his reign, H6213 עשׂה he made H4960 משׁתה a feast H3605 לכל unto all H8269 שׂריו his princes H5650 ועבדיו and his servants; H2426 חיל   H6539 פרס of Persia H4074 ומדי and Media, H6579 הפרתמים the nobles H8269 ושׂרי and princes H4082 המדינות of the provinces, H6440 לפניו׃ before

  4 H8582 תעה panted, H3824 לבבי My heart H6427 פלצות fearfulness H1204 בעתתני frightened H853 את   H5399 נשׁף me: the night H2837 חשׁקי of my pleasure H7760 שׂם hath he turned H2731 לי לחרדה׃ into fear

  5 H6186 ערך Prepare H7979 השׁלחן the table, H6823 צפה   H6823 הצפית   H398 אכול eat, H8354 שׁתה drink: H6965 קומו arise, H8269 השׂרים ye princes, H4886 משׁחו anoint H4043 מגן׃ the shield.

  12 H7121 ויקרא call H136 אדני did the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD H6635 צבאות of hosts H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא And in that H1065 לבכי to weeping, H4553 ולמספד and to mourning, H7144 ולקרחה and to baldness, H2296 ולחגר and to girding H8242 שׂק׃ with sackcloth:

  14 H1540 ונגלה And it was revealed H241 באזני in mine ears H3069 יהוה GOD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H518 אם Surely H3722 יכפר shall not be purged H5771 העון iniquity H2088 הזה this H5704 לכם עד from you till H4191 תמתון ye die, H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה by the LORD H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

  39 H2527 בחמם In their heat H7896 אשׁית I will make H853 את   H4960 משׁתיהם their feasts, H7937 והשׁכרתים and I will make them drunken, H4616 למען that H5937 יעלזו they may rejoice, H3462 וישׁנו and sleep H8142 שׁנת sleep, H5769 עולם a perpetual H3808 ולא and not H6974 יקיצו wake, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  57 H7937 והשׁכרתי And I will make drunk H8269 שׂריה her princes, H2450 וחכמיה and her wise H6346 פחותיה her captains, H5461 וסגניה and her rulers, H1368 וגבוריה and her mighty men: H3462 וישׁנו and they shall sleep H8142 שׁנת sleep, H5769 עולם a perpetual H3808 ולא and not H6974 יקיצו wake, H5002 נאם saith H4428 המלך the King, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts.   10 H3588 כי For H5704 עד while H5518 סירים thorns, H5440 סבכים folded together H5435 וכסבאם and while they are drunken H5433 סבואים drunkards, H398 אכלו they shall be devoured H7179 כקשׁ as stubble H3002 יבשׁ dry. H4390 מלא׃ fully

  26 H1121 בן old H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H8147 ושׁתים Two H8141 שׁנה years H274 אחזיהו Ahaziah H4427 במלכו when he began to reign; H8141 ושׁנה year H259 אחת one H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem.   10 H8666 ולתשׁובת was expired, H8141 השׁנה And when the year H7971 שׁלח sent, H4428 המלך king H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar H935 ויבאהו and brought H894 בבלה him to Babylon, H5973 עם with H3627 כלי vessels H2532 חמדת the goodly H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4427 וימלך and made H853 את   H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H251 אחיו his brother H5921 על king over H3063 יהודה Judah H3389 וירושׁלם׃ and Jerusalem.

  18 H3605 וכל And all H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית of the house H430 האלהים of God, H1419 הגדלים great H6996 והקטנים and small, H214 ואצרות and the treasures H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H214 ואצרות and the treasures H4428 המלך of the king, H8269 ושׂריו and of his princes; H3605 הכל all H935 הביא he brought H894 בבל׃ to Babylon.

  7 H4428 והמלך the king H3566 כורשׁ Also Cyrus H3318 הוציא brought forth H853 את   H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית of the house H3069 יהוה   H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוציא had brought forth H5019 נבוכדנצר Nebuchadnezzar H3389 מירושׁלם   H5414 ויתנם and had put H1004 בבית them in the house H430 אלהיו׃ of his gods;

  17 H408 אל not H8085 תשׁמעו Hearken H413 אליהם unto H5647 עבדו them; serve H853 את   H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H2421 וחיו and live: H4100 למה wherefore H1961 תהיה be H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת should this H2723 חרבה׃ laid waste?

  18 H518 ואם But if H5030 נבאים prophets, H1992 הם they H518 ואם and if H3426 ישׁ be H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H854 אתם with H6293 יפגעו make intercession H4994 נא them, let them now H3068 ביהוה to the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H1115 לבלתי not H935 באו go H3627 הכלים that the vessels H3498 הנותרים which are left H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1004 ובית and the house H4428 מלך of the king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H3389 ובירושׁלם and at Jerusalem, H894 בבלה׃ to Babylon.

  22 H894 בבלה to Babylon, H935 יובאו They shall be carried H8033 ושׁמה and there H1961 יהיו shall they be H5704 עד until H3117 יום the day H6485 פקדי that I visit H853 אתם   H5002 נאם them, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H5927 והעליתים then will I bring them up, H7725 והשׁיבתים and restore H413 אל them to H4725 המקום place.   15 H6091 עצבי The idols H1471 הגוים of the heathen H3701 כסף silver H2091 וזהב and gold, H4639 מעשׂה the work H3027 ידי hands. H120 אדם׃ of men's

  16 H6310 פה They have mouths, H1992 להם   H3808 ולא not; H1696 ידברו but they speak H5869 עינים eyes H1992 להם   H3808 ולא not; H7200 יראו׃ have they, but they see

  17 H241 אזנים They have ears, H1992 להם   H3808 ולא not; H238 יאזינו but they hear H637 אף neither H369 אין neither H3426 ישׁ is there H7307 רוח breath H6310 בפיהם׃ in their mouths.

  18 H3644 כמוהם like unto them: H1961 יהיו them are H6213 עשׂיהם They that make H3605 כל every one H834 אשׁר that H982 בטח׃ trusteth

  19 H6459 הפסל a graven image, H5258 נסך melteth H2796 חרשׁ The workman H6884 וצרף and the goldsmith H2091 בזהב with gold, H7554 ירקענו spreadeth it over H7577 ורתקות chains. H3701 כסף silver H6884 צורף׃ and casteth

  20 H5533 המסכן He that so impoverished H8641 תרומה that he hath no oblation H6086 עץ a tree H3808 לא will not H7537 ירקב rot; H977 יבחר chooseth H2796 חרשׁ workman H2450 חכם unto him a cunning H1245 יבקשׁ he seeketh H3559 לו להכין to prepare H6459 פסל a graven image, H3808 לא shall not H4131 ימוט׃ be moved.

  8 H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD: H1931 הוא that H8034 שׁמי my name: H3519 וכבודי and my glory H312 לאחר to another, H3808 לא will I not H5414 אתן give H8416 ותהלתי neither my praise H6456 לפסילים׃ to graven images.

  17 H5472 נסגו They shall be turned H268 אחור back, H954 יבשׁו they shall be greatly ashamed, H1322 בשׁת they shall be greatly ashamed, H982 הבטחים that trust H6459 בפסל in graven images, H559 האמרים that say H4541 למסכה to the molten images, H859 אתם Ye H430 אלהינו׃ our gods.

  6 H2107 הזלים They lavish H2091 זהב gold H3599 מכיס out of the bag, H3701 וכסף silver H7070 בקנה in the balance, H8254 ישׁקלו and weigh H7936 ישׂכרו hire H6884 צורף a goldsmith; H6213 ויעשׂהו and he maketh H410 אל it a god: H5456 יסגדו they fall down, H637 אף yea, H7812 ישׁתחוו׃ they worship.

  7 H5375 ישׂאהו They bear H5921 על him upon H3802 כתף the shoulder, H5445 יסבלהו they carry H3240 ויניחהו   H8478 תחתיו him in his place, H5975 ויעמד and he standeth; H4725 ממקומו from his place H3808 לא shall he not H4185 ימישׁ remove: H637 אף yea, H6817 יצעק shall cry H413 אליו unto H3808 ולא him, yet can he not H6030 יענה answer, H6869 מצרתו him out of his trouble.   5 H8560 כתמר as the palm tree, H4749 מקשׁה upright H1992 המה They H3808 ולא not: H1696 ידברו but speak H5375 נשׂוא they must needs be borne, H5375 ינשׂוא they must needs be borne, H3588 כי because H3808 לא they cannot H6805 יצעדו go. H408 אל Be not H3372 תיראו afraid H1992 מהם   H3588 כי them; for H3808 לא they cannot H7489 ירעו do evil, H1571 וגם also H3190 היטיב them to do good. H369 אין neither H854 אותם׃ in

  6 H369 מאין   H3644 כמוך like unto thee, H3068 יהוה O LORD; H1419 גדול great, H859 אתה thou H1419 וגדול great H8034 שׁמך and thy name H1369 בגבורה׃ in might.

  7 H4310 מי Who H3808 לא would not H3372 יראך fear H4428 מלך thee, O King H1471 הגוים of nations? H3588 כי for H2969 לך יאתה to thee doth it appertain: H3588 כי forasmuch H3605 בכל as among all H2450 חכמי the wise H1471 הגוים of the nations, H3605 ובכל and in all H4438 מלכותם their kingdoms, H369 מאין none H3644 כמוך׃ like unto thee.

  8 H259 ובאחת But they are altogether H1197 יבערו brutish H3688 ויכסלו and foolish: H4148 מוסר a doctrine H1892 הבלים of vanities. H6086 עץ the stock H1931 הוא׃
