  14 H7868 ושׂבי And the elders H3062 יהודיא of the Jews H1124 בנין built, H6744 ומצלחין and they prospered H5017 בנבואת through the prophesying H2292 חגי of Haggai H5029 נביאה the prophet H2148 וזכריה and Zechariah H1247 בר the son H5714 עדוא of Iddo.   5 H6605 ויפתח opened H5830 עזרא And Ezra H5612 הספר the book H5869 לעיני in the sight H3605 כל of all H5971 העם the people; H3588 כי (for H5921 מעל above H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people;) H1961 היה he was H6605 וכפתחו and when he opened H5975 עמדו stood up: H3605 כל it, all H5971 העם׃ the people

  7 H3442 וישׁוע Also Jeshua, H1137 ובני and Bani, H8274 ושׁרביה and Sherebiah, H3226 ימין Jamin, H6126 עקוב Akkub, H7678 שׁבתי Shabbethai, H1941 הודיה Hodijah, H4641 מעשׂיה Maaseiah, H7042 קליטא Kelita, H5838 עזריה Azariah, H3107 יוזבד Jozabad, H2605 חנן Hanan, H6411 פלאיה Pelaiah, H3881 והלוים and the Levites, H995 מבינים to understand H853 את   H5971 העם caused the people H8451 לתורה the law: H5971 והעם and the people H5921 על in H5975 עמדם׃  

  8 H7121 ויקראו So they read H5612 בספר in the book H8451 בתורת in the law H430 האלהים of God H6567 מפרשׁ distinctly, H7760 ושׂום and gave H7922 שׂכל the sense, H995 ויבינו and caused to understand H4744 במקרא׃ the reading.

  9 H559 ויאמר said H5166 נחמיה And Nehemiah, H1931 הוא which H8660 התרשׁתא the Tirshatha, H5830 ועזרא and Ezra H3548 הכהן the priest H5608 הספר the scribe, H3881 והלוים and the Levites H995 המבינים that taught H853 את   H5971 העם the people, H3605 לכל unto all H5971 העם the people, H3117 היום day H6918 קדשׁ holy H1931 הוא This H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God; H408 אל not, H56 תתאבלו mourn H408 ואל nor H1058 תבכו weep. H3588 כי For H1058 בוכים wept, H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people H8085 כשׁמעם when they heard H853 את   H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה׃ of the law.

  11 H8304 שׂריה Seraiah H1121 בן the son H2518 חלקיה of Hilkiah, H1121 בן the son H4918 משׁלם of Meshullam, H1121 בן the son H6659 צדוק of Zadok, H1121 בן the son H4812 מריות of Meraioth, H1121 בן the son H285 אחיטוב of Ahitub, H5057 נגד the ruler H1004 בית of the house H430 האלהים׃ of God.

  24 H3947 ויקח took H7227 רב And the captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H853 את   H8304 שׂריה Seraiah H3548 כהן priest, H7218 הראשׁ the chief H853 ואת   H6846 צפניה and Zephaniah H3548 כהן priest, H4932 המשׁנה the second H853 ואת   H7969 שׁלשׁת and the three H8104 שׁמרי keepers H5592 הסף׃ of the door:

  26 H3947 ויקח took H853 אותם   H5018 נבוזראדן So Nebuzaradan H7227 רב the captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H1980 וילך them, and brought H853 אותם   H413 אל them to H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H7247 רבלתה׃ to Riblah.

  27 H5221 ויכה smote H853 אותם   H4428 מלך And the king H894 בבל of Babylon H4191 וימתם them, and put them to death H7247 ברבלה in Riblah H776 בארץ in the land H2574 חמת of Hamath. H1540 ויגל was carried away captive H3063 יהודה Thus Judah H5921 מעל out of H127 אדמתו׃ his own land.

  17 H6659 וצדוק And Zadok H1121 בן the son H285 אחיטוב of Ahitub, H288 ואחימלך and Ahimelech H1121 בן the son H54 אביתר of Abiathar, H3548 כהנים the priests; H8304 ושׂריה and Seraiah H5608 סופר׃ the scribe;

  35 H5414 ויתן put H4428 המלך And the king H853 את   H1141 בניהו Benaiah H1121 בן the son H3077 יהוידע of Jehoiada H8478 תחתיו in his room H5921 על over H6635 הצבא the host: H853 ואת   H6659 צדוק and Zadok H3548 הכהן the priest H5414 נתן put H4428 המלך did the king H8478 תחת in the room H54 אביתר׃ of Abiathar.

  25 H499 ואלעזר And Eleazar H1121 בן son H175 אהרן Aaron's H3947 לקח took H1323 לו מבנות him of the daughters H6317 פוטיאל of Putiel H802 לו לאשׁה to wife; H3205 ותלד and she bore H853 לו את   H6372 פינחס him Phinehas: H428 אלה these H7218 ראשׁי the heads H1 אבות of the fathers H3881 הלוים of the Levites H4940 למשׁפחתם׃ according to their families.

  32 H5387 ונשׂיא chief H5387 נשׂיאי over the chief H3881 הלוי of the Levites, H499 אלעזר And Eleazar H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron H3548 הכהן the priest H6486 פקדת the oversight H8104 שׁמרי of them that keep H4931 משׁמרת the charge H6944 הקדשׁ׃ of the sanctuary.

  25 H3947 קח Take H853 את   H175 אהרן Aaron H853 ואת   H499 אלעזר and Eleazar H1121 בנו his son, H5927 והעל   H853 אתם   H2023 הר Hor: H2022 ההר׃ unto mount

  26 H6584 והפשׁט And strip H853 את   H175 אהרן Aaron H853 את   H899 בגדיו of his garments, H3847 והלבשׁתם and put them upon H853 את   H499 אלעזר Eleazar H1121 בנו his son: H175 ואהרן and Aaron H622 יאסף shall be gathered H4191 ומת and shall die H8033 שׁם׃ there.

  27 H6213 ויעשׂ did H4872 משׁה And Moses H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded: H3068 יהוה the LORD H5927 ויעלו and they went up H413 אל into H2023 הר Hor H2022 ההר mount H5869 לעיני in the sight H3605 כל of all H5712 העדה׃ the congregation.

  28 H6584 ויפשׁט stripped H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את   H175 אהרן Aaron H853 את   H899 בגדיו of his garments, H3847 וילבשׁ   H854 אתם   H853 את   H499 אלעזר Eleazar H1121 בנו his son; H4191 וימת died H175 אהרן and Aaron H8033 שׁם there H7218 בראשׁ in the top H2022 ההר of the mount: H3381 וירד came down H4872 משׁה and Moses H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H4480 מן from H2022 ההר׃ the mount.

  7 H7200 וירא saw H6372 פינחס And when Phinehas, H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar, H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron H3548 הכהן the priest, H6965 ויקם he rose up H8432 מתוך from among H5712 העדה the congregation, H3947 ויקח and took H7420 רמח a javelin H3027 בידו׃ in his hand;

  8 H935 ויבא And he went H310 אחר after H376 אישׁ the man H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל into H6898 הקבה the tent, H1856 וידקר and thrust H853 את   H8147 שׁניהם both H853 את   H376 אישׁ of them through, the man H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H853 ואת   H802 האשׁה and the woman H413 אל through H6897 קבתה her belly. H6113 ותעצר was stayed H4046 המגפה So the plague H5921 מעל from H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  9 H1961 ויהיו were H4191 המתים And those that died H4046 במגפה in the plague H702 ארבעה and four H6242 ועשׂרים twenty H505 אלף׃ thousand.

  10 H1696 וידבר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  11 H6372 פינחס Phinehas, H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar, H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron H3548 הכהן the priest, H7725 השׁיב   H853 את   H2534 חמתי   H5921 מעל from H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7068 בקנאו for my sake H853 את   H7068 קנאתי in my jealousy. H8432 בתוכם among H3808 ולא not H3615 כליתי them, that I consumed H853 את   H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H7068 בקנאתי׃  

  12 H3651 לכן Wherefore H559 אמר say, H2005 הנני   H5414 נתן I give H853 לו את   H1285 בריתי unto him my covenant H7965 שׁלום׃ of peace:

  13 H1961 והיתה And he shall have H2233 לו ולזרעו it, and his seed H310 אחריו after H1285 ברית him, the covenant H3550 כהנת priesthood; H5769 עולם of an everlasting H8478 תחת because H834 אשׁר because H7065 קנא he was zealous H430 לאלהיו for his God, H3722 ויכפר and made an atonement H5921 על for H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  2 H5975 ותעמדנה And they stood H6440 לפני before H4872 משׁה Moses, H6440 ולפני and before H499 אלעזר Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H6440 ולפני and before H5387 הנשׂיאם the princes H3605 וכל and all H5712 העדה the congregation, H6607 פתח the door H168 אהל of the tabernacle H4150 מועד of the congregation, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  6 H7971 וישׁלח sent H853 אתם   H4872 משׁה And Moses H505 אלף a thousand H4294 למטה of tribe H6635 לצבא them to the war, H853 אתם   H853 ואת   H6372 פינחס them, and Phinehas H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H6635 לצבא to the war, H3627 וכלי instruments, H6944 הקדשׁ with the holy H2689 וחצצרות and the trumpets H8643 התרועה to blow H3027 בידו׃ in his hand.

  31 H6213 ויעשׂ did H4872 משׁה And Moses H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.

  54 H3947 ויקח took H4872 משׁה And Moses H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H853 את   H2091 הזהב the gold H853 מאת   H8269 שׂרי the captains H505 האלפים of thousands H3967 והמאות and of hundreds, H935 ויבאו and brought H853 אתו   H413 אל it into H168 אהל the tabernacle H4150 מועד of the congregation, H2146 זכרון a memorial H1121 לבני for the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  1 H428 ואלה And these H834 אשׁר which H5157 נחלו inherited H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H776 בארץ in the land H3667 כנען of Canaan, H834 אשׁר which H5157 נחלו distributed for inheritance H853 אותם   H499 אלעזר Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H3091 ויהושׁע and Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון of Nun, H7218 וראשׁי and the heads H1 אבות of the fathers H4294 המטות of the tribes H1121 לבני of the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel,

  13 H7971 וישׁלחו sent H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben, H413 ואל and to H1121 בני the children H1410 גד of Gad, H413 ואל and to H2677 חצי the half H7626 שׁבט tribe H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh, H413 אל into H776 ארץ the land H1568 הגלעד of Gilead, H853 את   H6372 פינחס Phinehas H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar H3548 הכהן׃ the priest,

  31 H559 ויאמר said H6372 פינחס And Phinehas H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben, H413 ואל and to H1121 בני the children H1410 גד of Gad, H413 ואל and to H1121 בני the children H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh, H3117 היום This day H3045 ידענו we perceive H3588 כי that H8432 בתוכנו among H3068 יהוה the LORD H834 אשׁר us, because H3808 לא ye have not H4603 מעלתם committed H3068 ביהוה against the LORD: H4604 המעל trespass H2088 הזה this H227 אז now H5337 הצלתם ye have delivered H853 את   H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3027 מיד out of the hand H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  33 H499 ואלעזר And Eleazar H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron H4191 מת died; H6912 ויקברו and they buried H853 אתו   H1389 בגבעת him in a hill H6372 פינחס Phinehas H1121 בנו his son, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן was given H2022 לו בהר him in mount H669 אפרים׃ Ephraim.

  28 H6372 ופינחס And Phinehas, H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar, H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron, H5975 עמד stood H6440 לפניו before H3117 בימים days,) H1992 ההם it in those H559 לאמר saying, H3254 האוסף again H5750 עוד Shall I yet H3318 לצאת go out H4421 למלחמה to battle H5973 עם against H1121 בני the children H1144 בנימן of Benjamin H251 אחי my brother, H518 אם or H2308 אחדל shall I cease? H559 ויאמר said, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H5927 עלו Go up; H3588 כי for H4279 מחר tomorrow H5414 אתננו I will deliver H3027 בידך׃ them into thine hand.
