  18 H369 באין Where no H2377 חזון vision, H6544 יפרע perish: H5971 עם the people H8104 ושׁמר but he that keepeth H8451 תורה the law, H835 אשׁרהו׃ happy

  21 H5221 ויך smote H853 אתם   H4428 מלך And the king H894 בבל of Babylon H4191 וימיתם them, and slew H7247 ברבלה them at Riblah H776 בארץ in the land H2574 חמת of Hamath. H1540 ויגל was carried away H3063 יהודה So Judah H5921 מעל out of H127 אדמתו׃ their land.

  1 H3588 כי For, H2009 הנה behold, H113 האדון the Lord, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H5493 מסיר doth take away H3389 מירושׁלם   H3063 ומיהודה   H4937 משׁען the stay H4938 ומשׁענה and the staff, H3605 כל the whole H4937 משׁען stay H3899 לחם of bread, H3605 וכל and the whole H4937 משׁען stay H4325 מים׃ of water,

  2 H1368 גבור The mighty H376 ואישׁ man, and the man H4421 מלחמה of war, H8199 שׁופט the judge, H5030 ונביא and the prophet, H7080 וקסם and the prudent, H2205 וזקן׃ and the ancient,

  3 H8269 שׂר The captain H2572 חמשׁים of fifty, H5375 ונשׂוא and the honorable man, H6440 פנים and the honorable man, H3289 ויועץ and the counselor, H2450 וחכם and the cunning H2798 חרשׁים   H995 ונבון and the eloquent H3908 לחשׁ׃ orator.

  4 H5414 ונתתי And I will give H5288 נערים children H8269 שׂריהם their princes, H8586 ותעלולים and babes H4910 ימשׁלו׃ shall rule

  5 H5065 ונגשׂ shall be oppressed, H5971 העם And the people H376 אישׁ every one H376 באישׁ by another, H376 ואישׁ and every one H7453 ברעהו by his neighbor: H7292 ירהבו shall behave himself proudly H5288 הנער the child H2205 בזקן against the ancient, H7034 והנקלה and the base H3513 בנכבד׃ against the honorable.

  6 H3588 כי When H8610 יתפשׂ shall take hold H376 אישׁ a man H251 באחיו of his brother H1004 בית of the house H1 אביו of his father, H8071 שׂמלה Thou hast clothing, H1980 לכה   H7101 קצין thou our ruler, H1961 תהיה be H4384 לנו והמכשׁלה ruin H2063 הזאת and this H8478 תחת under H3027 ידך׃ thy hand:

  7 H5375 ישׂא shall he swear, H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H559 לאמר saying, H3808 לא I will not H1961 אהיה be H2280 חבשׁ a healer; H1004 ובביתי for in my house H369 אין neither H3899 לחם bread H369 ואין nor H8071 שׂמלה clothing: H3808 לא me not H7760 תשׂימני make H7101 קצין a ruler H5971 עם׃ of the people.

  8 H3588 כי For H3782 כשׁלה is ruined, H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H3063 ויהודה and Judah H5307 נפל is fallen: H3588 כי because H3956 לשׁונם their tongue H4611 ומעלליהם and their doings H413 אל against H3068 יהוה the LORD, H4784 למרות to provoke H5869 עני the eyes H3519 כבודו׃ of his glory.

  4 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H834 כאשׁר when H7200 ראם saw H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H4428 מלך the king H3063 יהודה of Judah H3605 וכל them, and all H582 אנשׁי   H4421 המלחמה of war, H1272 ויברחו then they fled, H3318 ויצאו and went forth H3915 לילה by night, H4480 מן out of H5892 העיר the city H1870 דרך by the way H1588 גן garden, H4428 המלך of the king's H8179 בשׁער by the gate H996 בין between H2346 החמתים the two walls: H3318 ויצא and he went out H1870 דרך the way H6160 הערבה׃ of the plain.

  7 H853 ואת   H5869 עיני eyes, H6667 צדקיהו   H5786 עור Moreover he put out H631 ויאסרהו and bound H5178 בנחשׁתים him with chains, H935 לביא to carry H853 אתו   H894 בבלה׃ him to Babylon.

  24 H3947 ויקח took H7227 רב And the captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H853 את   H8304 שׂריה Seraiah H3548 כהן priest, H7218 הראשׁ the chief H853 ואת   H6846 צפניה and Zephaniah H3548 כהן priest, H4932 המשׁנה the second H853 ואת   H7969 שׁלשׁת and the three H8104 שׁמרי keepers H5592 הסף׃ of the door:

  25 H4480 ומן also out of H5892 העיר the city H3947 לקח He took H5631 סריס eunuch, H259 אחד a H834 אשׁר which H1961 היה had H6496 פקיד the charge H5921 על of H582 אנשׁי   H4421 המלחמה of war; H7651 ושׁבעה and seven H582 אנשׁים   H7200 מראי of them that were near H6440 פני person, H4428 המלך the king's H834 אשׁר which H4672 נמצאו were found H5892 בעיר in the city; H853 ואת   H5608 ספר scribe H8269 שׂר and the principal H6635 הצבא of the host, H6633 המצבא who mustered H853 את   H5971 עם the people H776 הארץ of the land; H8346 ושׁשׁים and threescore H376 אישׁ the men H5971 מעם of the people H776 הארץ of the land, H4672 הנמצאים that were found H8432 בתוך in the midst H5892 העיר׃ of the city.

  26 H3947 ויקח took H853 אותם   H5018 נבוזראדן So Nebuzaradan H7227 רב the captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H1980 וילך them, and brought H853 אותם   H413 אל them to H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H7247 רבלתה׃ to Riblah.

  27 H5221 ויכה smote H853 אותם   H4428 מלך And the king H894 בבל of Babylon H4191 וימתם them, and put them to death H7247 ברבלה in Riblah H776 בארץ in the land H2574 חמת of Hamath. H1540 ויגל was carried away captive H3063 יהודה Thus Judah H5921 מעל out of H127 אדמתו׃ his own land.

  20 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אליהן unto H408 אל me not H7121 תקראנה them, Call H5281 לי נעמי Naomi, H7121 קראן call H4755 לי מרא me Mara: H3588 כי for H4843 המר hath dealt very bitterly H7706 שׁדי the Almighty H3966 לי מאד׃ hath dealt very bitterly

  21 H589 אני I H4390 מלאה   H1980 הלכתי went out H7387 וריקם empty: H7725 השׁיבני hath brought me home again H3068 יהוה and the LORD H4100 למה why H7121 תקראנה call H5281 לי נעמי ye me Naomi, H3068 ויהוה seeing the LORD H6030 ענה hath testified H7706 בי ושׁדי against me, and the Almighty H7489 הרע׃ hath afflicted

  2 H3117 ביום In the day H6869 צרתי of my trouble H136 אדני the Lord: H1875 דרשׁתי I sought H3027 ידי my sore H3915 לילה in the night, H5064 נגרה ran H3808 ולא not: H6313 תפוג and ceased H3985 מאנה refused H5162 הנחם to be comforted. H5315 נפשׁי׃ my soul

  7 H2005 הן Behold, H691 אראלם their valiant ones H6817 צעקו shall cry H2351 חצה without: H4397 מלאכי the ambassadors H7965 שׁלום of peace H4751 מר bitterly. H1058 יבכיון׃ shall weep

  19 H4578 מעי My bowels, H4578 מעי my bowels! H2342 אחולה   H7023 קירות at my very H3820 לבי heart; H1993 המה maketh a noise H3820 לי לבי my heart H3808 לא in me; I cannot H2790 אחרישׁ hold my peace, H3588 כי because H6963 קול the sound H7782 שׁופר of the trumpet, H8085 שׁמעתי thou hast heard, H5315 נפשׁי O my soul, H8643 תרועת the alarm H4421 מלחמה׃ of war.

  26 H1323 בת O daughter H5971 עמי of my people, H2296 חגרי gird H8242 שׂק with sackcloth, H6428 והתפלשׁי and wallow thyself H665 באפר in ashes: H60 אבל thee mourning, H3173 יחיד an only son, H6213 עשׂי make H4553 לך מספד lamentation: H8563 תמרורים most bitter H3588 כי for H6597 פתאם shall suddenly H935 יבא come H7703 השׁדד the spoiler H5921 עלינו׃ upon

  18 H4010 מבליגיתי I would comfort H5921 עלי myself against H3015 יגון sorrow, H5921 עלי in H3820 לבי my heart H1742 דוי׃ faint

  1 H4310 מי Oh that H5414 יתן were H7218 ראשׁי my head H4325 מים waters, H5869 ועיני and mine eyes H4726 מקור a fountain H1832 דמעה of tears, H1058 ואבכה that I might weep H3119 יומם day H3915 ולילה and night H853 את   H2491 חללי the slain H1323 בת of the daughter H5971 עמי׃ of my people!

  17 H518 ואם But if H3808 לא ye will not H8085 תשׁמעוה hear H4565 במסתרים in secret places H1058 תבכה shall weep H5315 נפשׁי it, my soul H6440 מפני for H1466 גוה pride; H1830 ודמע shall weep sore, H1830 תדמע shall weep sore, H3381 ותרד and run down H5869 עיני and mine eye H1832 דמעה with tears, H3588 כי because H7617 נשׁבה is carried away captive.   15 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H6963 קול A voice H7414 ברמה in Ramah, H8085 נשׁמע was heard H5092 נהי lamentation, H1065 בכי weeping; H8563 תמרורים bitter H7354 רחל Rachel H1058 מבכה weeping H5921 על for H1121 בניה her children H3985 מאנה refused H5162 להנחם to be comforted H5921 על for H1121 בניה her children, H3588 כי because H369 איננו׃ they not.

  8 H5921 על   H2063 זאת   H5594 אספדה I will wail H3213 ואילילה and howl, H1980 אילכה I will go H7758 שׁילל stripped H6174 וערום and naked: H6213 אעשׂה I will make H4553 מספד a wailing H8577 כתנים   H60 ואבל and mourning H1323 כבנות as the owls. H3284 יענה׃ as the owls.

  3 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H2396 חזקיהו Hezekiah, H3117 יום day H6869 צרה of trouble, H8433 ותוכחה and of rebuke, H5007 ונאצה and blasphemy: H3117 היום a day H2088 הזה This H3588 כי for H935 באו are come H1121 בנים the children H5704 עד to H4866 משׁבר the birth, H3581 וכח strength H369 אין and not H3205 ללדה׃ to bring forth.

  10 H853 ואת   H2346 חומת the walls H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem H5439 סביב round about. H5422 נתצו broke down H3605 כל And all H2428 חיל the army H3778 כשׂדים of the Chaldees, H834 אשׁר that H7227 רב the captain H2876 טבחים׃ of the guard,

  15 H7323 הרצים The posts H3318 יצאו went out, H1765 דחופים being hastened H1697 בדבר commandment, H4428 המלך by the king's H1881 והדת and the decree H5414 נתנה was given H7800 בשׁושׁן in Shushan H1002 הבירה the palace. H4428 והמלך And the king H2001 והמן and Haman H3427 ישׁבו sat down H8354 לשׁתות to drink; H5892 והעיר but the city H7800 שׁושׁן Shushan H943 נבוכה׃ was perplexed.

  5 H6258 ועתה And now H3045 אודיעה   H4994 נא   H853 אתכם   H853 את   H834 אשׁר you what H589 אני I H6213 עשׂה will do H3754 לכרמי to my vineyard: H5493 הסר I will take away H4881 משׂוכתו the hedge H1961 והיה thereof, and it shall be H1197 לבער eaten up; H6555 פרץ break down H1447 גדרו the wall H1961 והיה thereof, and it shall be H4823 למרמס׃ trodden down:

  1 H4853 משׂא The burden H1516 גיא of the valley H2384 חזיון of vision. H4100 מה What H645 לך אפוא aileth thee now, H3588 כי that H5927 עלית gone up H3605 כלך thou art wholly H1406 לגגות׃ to the housetops?

  10 H3588 כי For H5117 תנוח rest, H3027 יד shall the hand H3068 יהוה of the LORD H2022 בהר mountain H2088 הזה in this H1758 ונדושׁ shall be trodden down H4124 מואב and Moab H8478 תחתיו under H1758 כהדושׁ is trodden down H4963 מתבן him, even as straw H4325 במי   H4087 מדמנה׃ for the dunghill.

  3 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H2396 חזקיהו Hezekiah, H3117 יום day H6869 צרה of trouble, H8433 ותוכחה and of rebuke, H5007 ונאצה and of blasphemy: H3117 היום a day H2088 הזה This H3588 כי for H935 באו are come H1121 בנים the children H5704 עד to H4866 משׁבר the birth, H3581 וכח strength H369 אין and not H3205 ללדה׃ to bring forth.

  7 H1945 הוי Alas! H3588 כי for H1419 גדול great, H3117 היום day H1931 ההוא that H369 מאין so that none H3644 כמהו like it: H6256 ועת even the time H6869 צרה trouble; H1931 היא it H3290 ליעקב of Jacob's H4480 וממנה so that none H3467 יושׁע׃ but he shall be saved

  5 H1961 היו are H6862 צריה Her adversaries H7218 לראשׁ the chief, H341 איביה her enemies H7951 שׁלו prosper; H3588 כי for H3068 יהוה the LORD H3013 הוגה hath afflicted H5921 על her for H7230 רב the multitude H6588 פשׁעיה of her transgressions: H5768 עולליה her children H1980 הלכו are gone H7628 שׁבי into captivity H6440 לפני before H6862 צר׃ the enemy.

  2 H1104 בלע hath swallowed up H136 אדני The Lord H3808 לא and hath not H2550 חמל pitied: H853 את   H3605 כל all H4999 נאות the habitations H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H2040 הרס he hath thrown down H5678 בעברתו in his wrath H4013 מבצרי the strongholds H1323 בת of the daughter H3063 יהודה of Judah; H5060 הגיע he hath brought down H776 לארץ to the ground: H2490 חלל he hath polluted H4467 ממלכה the kingdom H8269 ושׂריה׃ and the princes

  8 H8045 ונשׁמדו shall be destroyed: H1116 במות The high places H205 און   H2403 חטאת the sin H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H6975 קוץ the thorn H1863 ודרדר and the thistle H5927 יעלה shall come up H5921 על on H4196 מזבחותם their altars; H559 ואמרו and they shall say H2022 להרים to the mountains, H3680 כסונו Cover H1389 ולגבעות us; and to the hills, H5307 נפלו Fall H5921 עלינו׃ on

  18 H1945 הוי Woe H183 המתאוים unto you that desire H853 את   H3117 יום the day H3068 יהוה of the LORD! H4100 למה to what end H2088 זה it H3117 לכם יום for you? the day H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1931 הוא   H2822 חשׁך darkness, H3808 ולא and not H216 אור׃ light.
