Psalms 1:1-30:12 אשׁרי Blessed האישׁ the man אשׁר that לא not הלך walketh בעצת in the counsel רשׁעים of the ungodly, ובדרך in the way חטאים of sinners, לא nor עמד standeth ובמושׁב in the seat לצים of the scornful. לא nor ישׁב׃ sitteth

3 H1961 והיה And he shall be H6086 כעץ like a tree H8362 שׁתול planted H5921 על by H6388 פלגי the rivers H4325 מים of water, H834 אשׁר that H6529 פריו his fruit H5414 יתן bringeth forth H6256 בעתו in his season; H5929 ועלהו his leaf H3808 לא also shall not H5034 יבול wither; H3605 וכל and whatsoever H834 אשׁר and whatsoever H6213 יעשׂה he doeth H6743 יצליח׃ shall prosper.

4 H3808 לא not H3651 כן so: H7563 הרשׁעים The ungodly H3588 כי but H518 אם but H4671 כמץ like the chaff H834 אשׁר which H5086 תדפנו driveth away. H7307 רוח׃ the wind

5 H5921 על H3651 כן H3808 לא shall not H6965 יקמו stand H7563 רשׁעים the ungodly H4941 במשׁפט in the judgment, H2400 וחטאים nor sinners H5712 בעדת in the congregation H6662 צדיקים׃ of the righteous.

6 H3588 כי For H3045 יודע knoweth H3068 יהוה the LORD H1870 דרך the way H6662 צדיקים of the righteous: H1870 ודרך but the way H7563 רשׁעים of the ungodly H6 תאבד׃ shall perish.

1 H4100 למה Why H7283 רגשׁו rage, H1471 גוים do the heathen H3816 ולאמים and the people H1897 יהגו imagine H7385 ריק׃ a vain thing?

2 H3320 יתיצבו set themselves, H4428 מלכי The kings H776 ארץ of the earth H7336 ורוזנים and the rulers H3245 נוסדו take counsel H3162 יחד together, H5921 על against H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5921 ועל and against H4899 משׁיחו׃ his anointed,

3 H3045 ודעו But know H3588 כי that H6395 הפלה hath set apart H3068 יהוה the LORD H2623 חסיד him that is godly H3068 לו יהוה for himself: the LORD H8085 ישׁמע will hear H7121 בקראי when I call H413 אליו׃ unto

4 H7264 רגזו Stand in awe, H408 ואל not: H2398 תחטאו and sin H559 אמרו commune H3824 בלבבכם with your own heart H5921 על upon H4904 משׁכבכם your bed, H1826 ודמו and be still. H5542 סלה׃ Selah.

5 H2076 זבחו Offer H2077 זבחי the sacrifices H6664 צדק of righteousness, H982 ובטחו and put your trust H413 אל in H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

6 H6965 קומה Arise, H3068 יהוה O LORD, H639 באפך in thine anger, H5375 הנשׂא lift up thyself H5678 בעברות because of the rage H6887 צוררי of mine enemies: H5782 ועורה and awake H410 אלי H4941 משׁפט me the judgment H6680 צוית׃ thou hast commanded.

7 H5712 ועדת So shall the congregation H3816 לאמים of the people H5437 תסובבך compass thee about: H5921 ועליה for their sakes H4791 למרום thou on high. H7725 שׁובה׃ therefore return

8 H3068 יהוה The LORD H1777 ידין shall judge H5971 עמים the people: H8199 שׁפטני judge H3068 יהוה me, O LORD, H6664 כצדקי according to my righteousness, H8537 וכתמי and according to mine integrity H5921 עלי׃ in

9 H1584 יגמר come to an end; H4994 נא Oh H7451 רע let the wickedness H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H3559 ותכונן but establish H6662 צדיק the just: H974 ובחן trieth H3826 לבות H3629 וכליות and reins. H430 אלהים God H6662 צדיק׃ for the righteous

10 H4043 מגני My defense H5921 על of H430 אלהים God, H3467 מושׁיע which saveth H3477 ישׁרי the upright H3820 לב׃ in heart.

11 H430 אלהים God H8199 שׁופט judgeth H6662 צדיק the righteous, H410 ואל and God H2194 זעם is angry H3605 בכל every H3117 יום׃ day.

12 H518 אם If H3808 לא not, H7725 ישׁוב he turn H2719 חרבו his sword; H3913 ילטושׁ he will whet H7198 קשׁתו his bow, H1869 דרך he hath bent H3559 ויכוננה׃ and made it ready.

13 H3559 ולו הכין He hath also prepared H3627 כלי for him the instruments H4194 מות of death; H2671 חציו his arrows H1814 לדלקים against the persecutors. H6466 יפעל׃ he ordaineth

14 H2009 הנה Behold, H2254 יחבל he travaileth H205 און with iniquity, H2029 והרה and hath conceived H5999 עמל mischief, H3205 וילד and brought forth H8267 שׁקר׃ falsehood.

15 H953 בור a pit, H3738 כרה He made H2658 ויחפרהו and digged H5307 ויפל it, and is fallen H7845 בשׁחת into the ditch H6466 יפעל׃ he made.

16 H7725 ישׁוב shall return H5999 עמלו His mischief H7218 בראשׁו upon his own head, H5921 ועל upon H6936 קדקדו his own pate. H2555 חמסו and his violent dealing H3381 ירד׃ shall come down

17 H3034 אודה I will praise H3068 יהוה the LORD H6664 כצדקו according to his righteousness: H2167 ואזמרה and will sing praise H8034 שׁם to the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5945 עליון׃ most high.

3 H3588 כי When H7200 אראה I consider H8064 שׁמיך thy heavens, H4639 מעשׂי the work H676 אצבעתיך of thy fingers, H3394 ירח the moon H3556 וכוכבים and the stars, H834 אשׁר which H3559 כוננתה׃ thou hast ordained;

4 H4100 מה What H582 אנושׁ is man, H3588 כי that H2142 תזכרנו thou art mindful H1121 ובן of him? and the son H120 אדם of man, H3588 כי that H6485 תפקדנו׃ thou visitest

5 H2637 ותחסרהו H4592 מעט H430 מאלהים than the angels, H3519 וכבוד him with glory H1926 והדר and honor. H5849 תעטרהו׃ and hast crowned

6 H4910 תמשׁילהו Thou madest him to have dominion H4639 במעשׂי over the works H3027 ידיך of thy hands; H3605 כל all H7896 שׁתה thou hast put H8478 תחת under H7272 רגליו׃ his feet:

7 H6792 צנה sheep H504 ואלפים and oxen, H3605 כלם All H1571 וגם yea, H929 בהמות and the beasts H7704 שׂדי׃ of the field;

3 H7725 בשׁוב are turned H341 אויבי When mine enemies H268 אחור back, H3782 יכשׁלו they shall fall H6 ויאבדו and perish H6440 מפניך׃ at thy presence.

4 H3588 כי For H6213 עשׂית thou hast maintained H4941 משׁפטי my right H1779 ודיני and my cause; H3427 ישׁבת thou satest H3678 לכסא in the throne H8199 שׁופט judging H6664 צדק׃ right.

5 H1605 גערת Thou hast rebuked H1471 גוים the heathen, H6 אבדת thou hast destroyed H7563 רשׁע the wicked, H8034 שׁמם their name H4229 מחית thou hast put out H5769 לעולם forever H5703 ועד׃ and ever.

6 H341 האויב O thou enemy, H8552 תמו are come to a perpetual end: H2723 חרבות destructions H5331 לנצח are come to a perpetual end: H5892 וערים cities; H5428 נתשׁת and thou hast destroyed H6 אבד is perished H2143 זכרם their memorial H1992 המה׃ with them.

7 H3068 ויהוה But the LORD H5769 לעולם forever: H3427 ישׁב shall endure H3559 כונן he hath prepared H4941 למשׁפט for judgment. H3678 כסאו׃ his throne

8 H1931 והוא And he H8199 ישׁפט shall judge H8398 תבל the world H6664 בצדק in righteousness, H1777 ידין he shall minister judgment H3816 לאמים to the people H4339 במישׁרים׃ in uprightness.

9 H1961 ויהי also will be H3068 יהוה The LORD H4869 משׂגב a refuge H1790 לדך for the oppressed, H4869 משׂגב a refuge H6256 לעתות in times H6869 בצרה׃ of trouble.

10 H982 ויבטחו will put their trust H3045 בך יודעי And they that know H8034 שׁמך thy name H3588 כי in thee: for H3808 לא hast not H5800 עזבת forsaken H1875 דרשׁיך them that seek H3068 יהוה׃ thou, LORD,

11 H2167 זמרו Sing praises H3068 ליהוה to the LORD, H3427 ישׁב which dwelleth H6726 ציון in Zion: H5046 הגידו declare H5971 בעמים among the people H5949 עלילותיו׃ his doings.

12 H3588 כי When H1875 דרשׁ he maketh inquisition H1818 דמים for blood, H853 אותם H2142 זכר he remembereth H3808 לא not H7911 שׁכח them: he forgetteth H6818 צעקת the cry H6041 עניים׃
