24 G1161 But G3588 the G4143 boat G2258 [G5713] was G2235 now G3319 in the midst G3588 of the G2281 sea, G928 [G5746] being tormented G5259 by G3588 the G2949 waves: G1063 for G3588 the G417 wind G2258 [G5713] was G1727 contrary.

25 G1161 And G5067 in the fourth G5438 watch G3571 of the night G2424 Jesus G565 [G5627] went G4314 to G846 them, G4043 [G5723] walking G1909 on G2281 the sea.

29 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said, G2064 [G5628] { Come. G2532 } And G4074 when Peter G2597 [G5631] had come down G575 from G4143 the boat, G4043 [G5656] he walked G1909 on G5204 the water, G2064 [G5629] to go G4314 to G2424 Jesus.

30 G1161 But G991 [G5723] when he saw G3588 the G2478 strong G417 wind, G5399 [G5675] he was afraid; G2532 and G756 [G5671] beginning G2670 [G5745] to sink, G2896 [G5656] he cried, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2962 Lord, G4982 [G5657] save G3165 me.

31 G1161 And G2112 immediately G2424 Jesus G1614 [G5660] stretched forth G5495 his hand, G1949 [G5633] and caught G846 him, G2532 and G3004 [G5719] said G846 to him, G3640 { O thou of little faith, G1519 G5101 why G1365 [G5656] didst thou doubt?}

32 G2532 And G846 when they G1684 [G5631] had come G1519 into G4143 the boat, G417 the wind G2869 [G5656] ceased.

33 G1161 Then G1722 they that were in G4143 the boat G2064 [G5631] came G4352 [G5656] and worshipped G846 him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G230 In truth G1488 [G5748] thou art G5207 the Son G2316 of God.

34 G2532 And G1276 [G5660] when they had gone over, G2064 [G5627] they came G1519 into G1093 the land G1082 of Gennesaret.

2 G1302 Why G4675 do thy G3101 disciples G3845 [G5719] walk contrary to G3862 the tradition G4245 of the elders? G1063 for G3538 [G5731] they wash G3756 not G846 their G5495 hands G3752 when G2068 [G5725] they eat G740 bread.

3 G1161 But G611 [G5679] he answered G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to them, G1302 { Why G5210 do ye G2532 also G3845 [G5719] walk contrary to G1785 the commandment G2316 of God G1223 by G5216 your G3862 tradition?}

4 G1063 { For G2316 God G1781 [G5662] commanded, G3004 [G5723] saying, G5091 [G5720] Honour G4675 thy G3962 father G2532 and G3384 mother: G2532 and, G2551 [G5723] He that curseth G3962 father G2228 or G3384 mother, G5053 [G5720] let him die G2288 the death.}

5 G1161 { But G5210 ye G3004 [G5719] say, G3739 G302 Whoever G2036 [G5632] shall say G3962 to his father G2228 or G3384 his mother, G1435 It is a gift, G1537 by G3739 G1437 whatever G5623 [G5686] thou mightest be profited G1700 by me;}

6 G2532 { And G5091 [G5661] honour G3364 not G846 his G3962 father G2228 or G846 his G3384 mother, G2532 he shall be free. Thus G208 0 have ye made G1785 the commandment G2316 of God G208 [G5656] of no effect G1223 by G5216 your G3862 tradition.}

7 G5273 { Ye hypocrites, G2573 well G4395 0 did G2268 Isaiah G4395 [G5656] prophesy G4012 of G5216 you, G3004 [G5723] saying,}

8 G3778 { This G2992 people G1448 [G5719] draweth near G3427 to me G846 with their G4750 mouth, G2532 and G5091 [G5719] honour G3165 me G5491 with their lips; G1161 but G846 their G2588 heart G568 [G5719] is G4206 far G575 from G1700 me.}

9 G1161 { But G3155 in vain G4576 [G5736] they do revere G3165 me, G1321 [G5723] teaching G1319 for teachings G1778 the commandments G444 of men.}

10 G2532 And G4341 [G5666] he called G3793 the crowd, G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to them, G191 [G5720] { Hear, G2532 and G4920 [G5720] understand:}

11 G3756 { Not G1525 [G5740] that which goeth G1519 into G4750 the mouth G2840 0 maketh G444 a man; G2840 [G5719] common G235 but G1607 [G5740] that which cometh G1537 out of G4750 the mouth, G5124 this G2840 0 maketh G444 a man G2840 [G5719] common.}

12 G5119 Then G4334 [G5631] came G846 his G3101 disciples, G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to him, G1492 [G5758] Knowest thou G3754 that G5330 the Pharisees G4624 [G5681] were caused to stumble, G191 [G5660] after they heard G3056 this saying?

13 G1161 But G611 [G5679] he answered G2036 [G5627] and said, G3956 { Every G5451 plant, G3739 which G3450 my G3770 heavenly G3962 Father G5452 0 hath G3756 not G5452 [G5656] planted, G1610 [G5701] shall be rooted out.}

14 G863 0 { Let G846 them G863 [G5628] alone: G1526 [G5748] they are G5185 blind G3595 guides G5185 of the blind. G1161 And G1437 if G5185 the blind G3594 [G5725] guideth G5185 the blind, G297 both G4098 [G5699] shall fall G1519 into G999 the ditch.}

15 G1161 Then G611 [G5679] answered G4074 Peter G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to him, G5419 [G5657] Make known G2254 to us G5026 the meaning of this G3850 parable.

16 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said, G2075 [G5748] { Are G5210 ye G2532 also G188 yet G801 without understanding?}

17 G3539 0 { Do ye G3768 not yet G3539 [G5719] comprehend, G3754 that G3956 whatever G1531 [G5740] entereth in G1519 at G4750 the mouth G5562 [G5719] goeth G1519 into G2836 the stomach, G2532 and G1544 [G5743] is cast out G1519 into G856 the draught?}

18 G1161 { But G3588 those things which G1607 [G5740] proceed G1537 out of G4750 the mouth G1831 [G5736] come forth G1537 from G2588 the heart; G2548 and they G2840 0 maketh G444 the man G2840 [G5719] common.}

19 G1063 { For G1537 out of G2588 the heart G1831 [G5736] proceed G4190 evil G1261 thoughts, G5408 murders, G3430 adulteries, G4202 fornications, G2829 thefts, G5577 false witness, G988 blasphemies:}

20 G5023 { These G2076 [G5748] are G3588 the things G2840 0 making G3588 the G444 man G2840 [G5723] common: G3588 G1161 but G5315 [G5629] to eat G449 with unwashed G5495 hands G2840 0 maketh G3756 not G3588 the G444 man G2840 [G5719] common.}

21 G2532 And G3588 G2424 Jesus G1831 [G5631] having gone forth G1564 from there, G402 [G5656] withdrew G1519 into G3588 the G3313 parts G5184 of Tyre G2532 and G4605 Sidon.

22 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] behold, G1135 a woman G5478 of Canaan G1831 [G5631] came G575 from G1565 those G3725 borders, G2905 [G5656] cried out G846 to him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G1653 [G5657] Have mercy G3165 on me, G2962 O Lord, G5207 thou Son G1138 of David; G3450 my G2364 daughter G2560 is badly G1139 [G5736] possessed with a demon.

23 G1161 But G611 [G5662] he answered G846 her G3756 not G3056 a word. G2532 And G846 his G3101 disciples G4334 [G5631] came G2065 [G5707] and besought G846 him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G630 0 Send G846 her G630 [G5657] away; G3754 for G2896 [G5719] she crieth G3693 after G2257 us.

24 G1161 But G611 [G5679] he answered G2036 [G5627] and said, G649 0 { I am G3756 not G649 [G5648] sent G1508 but G1519 to G622 [G5756] the lost G4263 sheep G3624 of the house G2474 of Israel.}

25 G1161 Then G2064 [G5631] came she G4352 [G5707] and worshipped G846 him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2962 Lord, G997 [G5720] help G3427 me.

26 G1161 But G611 [G5679] he answered G2036 [G5627] and said, G2076 [G5748] { It is G3756 not G2570 good G2983 [G5629] to take G3588 the G5043 children's G740 bread, G2532 and G906 [G5629] to cast G3588 it to the G2952 puppies.}

27 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] she said, G3483 Yea, G2962 Lord: G1063 for G2532 even G3588 the G2952 puppies G2068 [G5719] eat G575 from G5589 the crumbs G3588 which G4098 [G5723] fall G575 from G846 their G2962 masters' G5132 table.

28 G5119 Then G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answered G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to her, G5599 { O G1135 woman, G3173 great G4675 is thy G4102 faith: G1096 [G5676] be it G4671 to thee G5613 even as G2309 [G5719] thou wilt. G2532 } And G846 her G2364 daughter G2390 [G5681] was healed G575 from G1565 that very G5610 hour.

29 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G3327 [G5631] departed G1564 from there, G2064 [G5627] and came G3844 near to G2281 the sea G1056 of Galilee; G2532 and G305 [G5631] went up G1519 on G3735 a mountain, G2521 [G5711] and sat down G1563 there.

30 G2532 And G3793 crowds G4183 of many G4334 [G5656] came forward G846 to him, G2192 [G5723] having G3326 with G1438 them those that were G5560 lame, G5185 blind, G2974 dumb, G2948 maimed, G2532 and G4183 many G2087 others, G2532 and G4496 [G5656] tossed G846 them G3844 beside G2424 Jesus' G4228 feet; G2532 and G2323 [G5656] he healed G846 them:

31 G5620 So that G3793 the crowd G2296 [G5658] wondered, G991 [G5723] when they saw G2974 the dumb G2980 [G5723] to speak, G2948 the maimed G5199 to be whole, G5560 the lame G4043 [G5723] to walk, G2532 and G5185 the blind G991 [G5723] to see: G2532 and G1392 [G5656] they glorified G2316 the God G2474 of Israel.

32 G1161 Then G2424 Jesus G4341 [G5666] called G846 his G3101 disciples G2036 [G5627] to him, and said, G4697 [G5736] { I have compassion G1909 on G3793 the crowd, G3754 because G4357 [G5719] they continue G3427 with me G2235 now G5140 three G2250 days, G2532 and G2192 [G5719] have G3756 G5101 nothing G5315 [G5632] to eat: G2532 and G2309 [G5719] I will G3756 not G630 0 send G846 them G630 [G5658] away G3523 fasting, G3379 lest G1590 [G5686] they faint G1722 in G3598 the way.}

33 G2532 And G846 his G3101 disciples G3004 [G5719] say G846 to him, G4159 Whence G2254 should we G5118 get so much G740 bread G1722 in G2047 the wilderness, G5620 as G5526 [G5658] to satisfy G5118 so great G3793 a crowd?

34 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G3004 [G5719] saith G846 to them, G4214 { How many G740 loaves G2192 [G5719] have ye? G1161 } And G2036 [G5627] they said, G2033 Seven, G2532 and G3641 a few G2485 little fishes.

35 G2532 And G2753 [G5656] he commanded G3793 the crowd G377 [G5629] to sit down G1909 on G1093 the ground.

36 G2532 And G2983 [G5631] he took G2033 the seven G740 loaves G2532 and G2486 the fishes, G2168 [G5660] and gave thanks, G2806 [G5656] and broke G2532 them, and G1325 [G5656] gave G846 to his G3101 disciples, G1161 and G3101 the disciples G3793 to the crowd.

5 G2532 And G846 when his G3101 disciples G2064 [G5631] had come G1519 to G4008 the other side, G1950 [G5633] they had forgotten G2983 [G5629] to take G740 bread.

6 G1161 Then G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G846 to them, G3708 [G5720] { Take heed G2532 and G4337 [G5720] beware G575 from G2219 the leaven G5330 of the Pharisees G2532 and G4523 of the Sadducees.}

26 G1063 { For G5101 what G444 is a man G5623 [G5743] profited, G1437 if G2770 [G5661] he shall gain G3650 the whole G2889 world, G1161 and G2210 [G5686] lose G846 his own G5590 breath? G2228 or G5101 what G444 shall a man G1325 [G5692] give G465 in exchange G846 for his G5590 breath?}

27 G1063 { For G5207 the Son G444 of man G3195 [G5719] shall G2064 [G5738] come G1722 in G1391 the glory G846 of his G3962 Father G3326 with G846 his G32 messengers; G2532 and G5119 then G591 [G5692] he shall reward G1538 every man G2596 according G846 to his G4234 actions.}

10 G3708 [G5720] { Take heed G2706 [G5661] that ye despise G3361 not G1520 one G5130 of these G3398 little ones; G1063 for G3004 [G5719] I say G5213 to you, G3754 That G1722 in G3772 heaven G846 their G32 messengers G1223 G3956 do always G991 [G5719] behold G4383 the face G3450 of my G3962 Father G3588 who G1722 is in G3772 heaven.}

15 G1161 { Moreover G1437 if G4675 thy G80 brother G264 [G5661] should sin G1519 against G4571 thee, G5217 [G5720] go G2532 and G1651 0 tell G846 him G1651 [G5657] his fault G3342 between G4675 thee G2532 and G846 him G3441 alone: G1437 if G191 [G5661] he shall hear G4675 thee, G2770 [G5656] thou hast gained G4675 thy G80 brother.}

17 G1161 { And G1437 if G3878 [G5661] he shall neglect to hear G846 them, G2036 [G5628] tell G1577 it to the congregation: G1161 G2532 but G1437 if G3878 [G5661] he shall neglect to hear G1577 the congregation, G2077 [G5749] let him be G4671 to thee G5618 as G1482 a national G2532 and G5057 a tax collector.}

21 G5119 Then G4334 [G5631] came G4074 Peter G846 to him, G2036 [G5627] and said, G2962 Lord, G4212 how often G3450 shall my G80 brother G264 [G5692] sin G1519 against G1691 me, G2532 and G863 [G5692] I forgive G846 him? G2193 till G2034 seven times?

31 G1161 { So G846 when his G4889 fellowslaves G1492 [G5631] saw G1096 [G5637] what was done, G4970 they were very G3076 [G5681] sorry, G2532 and G2064 [G5631] came G1285 [G5656] and told G846 to their G2962 lord G3956 all G1096 [G5637] that was done.}

32 G5119 { Then G846 his G2962 lord, G4341 [G5666] having called G846 him, G3004 [G5719] said G846 to him, G4190 O thou wicked G1401 slave, G863 [G5656] I forgave G4671 thee G3956 all G1565 that G3782 debt, G1893 since G3870 [G5656] thou didst beg G3165 me:}

33 G1163 [G5713] { Shouldest G4571 thou G3756 not G2532 also G1653 [G5658] have had mercy G4675 on thy G4889 fellowslave, G2532 even G5613 as G1473 I G1653 [G5656] had mercy G4571 on thee?}

34 G2532 { And G846 his G2962 lord G3710 [G5685] was angry, G3860 [G5656] and delivered G846 him G930 to the torturers, G2193 G3739 till G591 [G5632] he should pay G3956 all G3784 [G5746] that was due G846 to him.}

35 G3779 { So G3450 likewise shall my G2032 heavenly G3962 Father G4160 [G5692] do G2532 also G5213 to you, G3362 0 if G575 ye from G5216 your G2588 hearts G863 [G5632] forgive G3362 not G1538 every one G846 his G80 brother G846 their G3900 fallings aside.}
