  2 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אליו unto H559 לאמר׃ him, saying,

  3 H1980 לך Get H2088 מזה thee hence, H6437 ופנית and turn H6924 לך קדמה thee eastward, H5641 ונסתרת and hide thyself H5158 בנחל by the brook H3747 כרית Cherith, H834 אשׁר that H5921 על before H6440 פני before H3383 הירדן׃ Jordan.

  4 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H5158 מהנחל of the brook; H8354 תשׁתה thou shalt drink H853 ואת   H6158 הערבים the ravens H6680 צויתי and I have commanded H3557 לכלכלך to feed H8033 שׁם׃ thee there.

  5 H1980 וילך So he went H6213 ויעשׂ and did H1697 כדבר according unto the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD: H1980 וילך for he went H3427 וישׁב and dwelt H5158 בנחל by the brook H3747 כרית Cherith, H834 אשׁר that H5921 על before H6440 פני before H3383 הירדן׃ Jordan.

  6 H6158 והערבים And the ravens H935 מביאים brought H3899 לו לחם him bread H1320 ובשׂר and flesh H1242 בבקר in the morning, H3899 ולחם and bread H1320 ובשׂר and flesh H6153 בערב in the evening; H4480 ומן of H5158 הנחל the brook. H8354 ישׁתה׃ and he drank

  7 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7093 מקץ after H3117 ימים a while, H3001 וייבשׁ dried up, H5158 הנחל that the brook H3588 כי because H3808 לא no H1961 היה there had been H1653 גשׁם rain H776 בארץ׃ in the land.

  8 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אליו unto H559 לאמר׃ him, saying,

  9 H6965 קום Arise, H1980 לך get H6886 צרפתה thee to Zarephath, H834 אשׁר which H6721 לצידון to Zidon, H3427 וישׁבת and dwell H8033 שׁם there: H2009 הנה behold, H6680 צויתי I have commanded H8033 שׁם there H802 אשׁה woman H490 אלמנה a widow H3557 לכלכלך׃ to sustain

  10 H6965 ויקם So he arose H1980 וילך and went H6886 צרפתה to Zarephath. H935 ויבא And when he came H413 אל to H6607 פתח the gate H5892 העיר of the city, H2009 והנה behold, H8033 שׁם there H802 אשׁה woman H490 אלמנה the widow H7197 מקשׁשׁת gathering H6086 עצים of sticks: H7121 ויקרא and he called H413 אליה to H559 ויאמר her, and said, H3947 קחי Fetch H4994 נא me, I pray thee, H4592 לי מעט a little H4325 מים water H3627 בכלי in a vessel, H8354 ואשׁתה׃ that I may drink.

  11 H1980 ותלך And as she was going H3947 לקחת to fetch H7121 ויקרא he called H413 אליה to H559 ויאמר her, and said, H3947 לקחי Bring H4994 נא me, I pray thee, H6595 לי פת a morsel H3899 לחם of bread H3027 בידך׃ in thine hand.

  12 H559 ותאמר And she said, H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H518 אם not H3426 ישׁ I have H4580 לי מעוג a cake, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H4393 מלא a handful H3709 כף a handful H7058 קמח of meal H3537 בכד in a barrel, H4592 ומעט and a little H8081 שׁמן oil H6835 בצפחת in a cruse: H2005 והנני   H7197 מקשׁשׁת I gathering H8147 שׁנים two H6086 עצים sticks, H935 ובאתי that I may go in H6213 ועשׂיתיהו and dress H1121 לי ולבני it for me and my son, H398 ואכלנהו that we may eat H4191 ומתנו׃ it, and die.

  13 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליה unto H452 אליהו And Elijah H408 אל not; H3372 תיראי her, Fear H935 באי go H6213 עשׂי do H1697 כדברך as thou hast said: H389 אך but H6213 עשׂי make H8033 לי משׁם me thereof H5692 עגה cake H6996 קטנה a little H7223 בראשׁנה first, H3318 והוצאת and bring H1121 לי ולך ולבנך for thee and for thy son. H6213 תעשׂי make H314 באחרנה׃ unto me, and after

  14 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3537 כד The barrel H7058 הקמח of meal H3808 לא shall not H3615 תכלה waste, H6835 וצפחת shall the cruse H8081 השׁמן of oil H3808 לא neither H2637 תחסר fail, H5704 עד until H3117 יום the day H5414 תתן sendeth H5414 יהוה   H1653 גשׁם rain H5921 על upon H6440 פני upon H127 האדמה׃ the earth.

  15 H1980 ותלך And she went H6213 ותעשׂה and did H1697 כדבר according to the saying H452 אליהו of Elijah: H398 ותאכל did eat H1931 הוא and she, H1931 והיא and he, H1004 וביתה and her house, H3117 ימים׃ days.

  16 H3537 כד the barrel H7058 הקמח of meal H3808 לא not, H3615 כלתה wasted H6835 וצפחת did the cruse H8081 השׁמן of oil H3808 לא neither H2638 חסר   H1697 כדבר according to the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he spoke H3027 ביד by H452 אליהו׃ Elijah.

  17 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H310 אחר after H1697 הדברים things, H428 האלה these H2470 חלה fell sick; H1121 בן the son H802 האשׁה of the woman, H1172 בעלת the mistress H1004 הבית of the house, H1961 ויהי was H2483 חליו and his sickness H2389 חזק sore, H3966 מאד so H5704 עד that H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא there was no H3498 נותרה left H5397 בו נשׁמה׃ breath

  18 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אל unto H452 אליהו Elijah, H4100 מה What H376 לי ולך אישׁ have I to do with thee, O thou man H430 האלהים of God? H935 באת art thou come H413 אלי unto H2142 להזכיר to remembrance, H853 את   H5771 עוני me to call my sin H4191 ולהמית and to slay H853 את   H1121 בני׃ my son?

  19 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אליה unto H5414 תני her, Give H853 לי את   H1121 בנך me thy son. H3947 ויקחהו And he took H2436 מחיקה him out of her bosom, H5927 ויעלהו and carried him up H413 אל into H5944 העליה a loft, H834 אשׁר where H1931 הוא he H3427 ישׁב abode, H8033 שׁם where H7901 וישׁכבהו and laid H5921 על him upon H4296 מטתו׃ his own bed.

  20 H7121 ויקרא And he cried H413 אל unto H3069 יהוה   H559 ויאמר and said, H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהי my God, H1571 הגם hast thou also H5921 על upon H490 האלמנה the widow H834 אשׁר whom H589 אני I H1481 מתגורר sojourn, H5973 עמה with H7489 הרעות brought evil H4191 להמית by slaying H853 את   H1121 בנה׃ her son?

  21 H4058 ויתמדד And he stretched himself H5921 על upon H3206 הילד the child H7969 שׁלשׁ three H6471 פעמים times, H7121 ויקרא and cried H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 ויאמר and said, H3068 יהוה O LORD H430 אלהי my God, H7725 תשׁב come into him again. H4994 נא I pray thee, H5315 נפשׁ soul H3206 הילד child's H2088 הזה let this H5921 על   H7130 קרבו׃  

  22 H8085 וישׁמע heard H3068 יהוה And the LORD H6963 בקול the voice H452 אליהו of Elijah; H7725 ותשׁב came into him again, H5315 נפשׁ and the soul H3206 הילד of the child H5921 על   H7130 קרבו   H2421 ויחי׃ and he revived.

  23 H3947 ויקח took H452 אליהו And Elijah H853 את   H3206 הילד the child, H3381 וירדהו and brought him down H4480 מן out of H5944 העליה the chamber H1004 הביתה into the house, H5414 ויתנהו and delivered H517 לאמו him unto his mother: H559 ויאמר said, H452 אליהו and Elijah H7200 ראי See, H2416 חי liveth. H1121 בנך׃ thy son

  24 H559 ותאמר said H802 האשׁה And the woman H413 אל to H452 אליהו Elijah, H6258 עתה Now H2088 זה by this H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H376 אישׁ a man H430 אלהים of God, H859 אתה thou H1697 ודבר that the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6310 בפיך in thy mouth H571 אמת׃ truth.

  8 H6256 בעת time H1931 ההוא At that H914 הבדיל separated H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H7626 שׁבט the tribe H3878 הלוי of Levi, H5375 לשׂאת to bear H853 את   H727 ארון the ark H1285 ברית of the covenant H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H5975 לעמד to stand H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H8334 לשׁרתו to minister H1288 ולברך unto him, and to bless H8034 בשׁמו in his name, H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה׃ this

  4 H6908 ויקבץ gathered together H3316 יפתח Then Jephthah H853 את   H3605 כל all H376 אנשׁי the men H1568 גלעד of Gilead, H3898 וילחם and fought H854 את with H669 אפרים Ephraim: H5221 ויכו smote H376 אנשׁי and the men H1568 גלעד of Gilead H853 את   H669 אפרים Ephraim, H3588 כי because H559 אמרו they said, H6412 פליטי fugitives H669 אפרים of Ephraim H859 אתם Ye H1568 גלעד Gileadites H8432 בתוך among H669 אפרים the Ephraimites, H8432 בתוך among H4519 מנשׁה׃ the Manassites.

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H3117 ימים days, H7227 רבים many H1697 ודבר that the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 היה came H413 אל to H452 אליהו Elijah H8141 בשׁנה year, H7992 השׁלישׁית in the third H559 לאמר saying, H1980 לך Go, H7200 הראה show thyself H413 אל unto H256 אחאב Ahab; H5414 ואתנה and I will send H4306 מטר rain H5921 על upon H6440 פני upon H127 האדמה׃ the earth.

  10 H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H518 אם no H3426 ישׁ there is H1471 גוי nation H4467 וממלכה or kingdom, H834 אשׁר whither H3808 לא hath not H7971 שׁלח sent H113 אדני my lord H8033 שׁם whither H1245 לבקשׁך to seek H559 ואמרו thee: and when they said, H369 אין not H7650 והשׁביע he took an oath H853 את   H4467 הממלכה of the kingdom H853 ואת   H1471 הגוי and nation, H3588 כי that H3808 לא thee not.   15 H559 ויאמר said, H452 אליהו And Elijah H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H834 אשׁר whom H5975 עמדתי I stand, H6440 לפניו before H3588 כי I will surely H3117 היום him today. H7200 אראה show myself H413 אליו׃ unto

  14 H559 ויאמר said, H4321 מיכיהו And Micaiah H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3588 כי   H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H559 יאמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי unto H853 אתו   H1696 אדבר׃ me, that will I speak.

  14 H559 ויאמר said, H477 אלישׁע And Elisha H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H834 אשׁר whom H5975 עמדתי I stand, H6440 לפניו before H3588 כי surely, H3884 לולי were it not H6440 פני the presence H3092 יהושׁפט of Jehoshaphat H4428 מלך the king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H589 אני that I H5375 נשׂא regard H518 אם thee, nor H5027 אביט I would not look H413 אליך toward H518 ואם   H7200 אראך׃ see

  16 H559 ויאמר But he said, H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H834 אשׁר whom H5975 עמדתי I stand, H6440 לפניו before H518 אם   H3947 אקח I will receive H6484 ויפצר none. And he urged H3947 בו לקחת him to take H3985 וימאן׃ but he refused.

  18 H5375 שׂאי Lift up H5439 סביב round about, H5869 עיניך thine eyes H7200 וראי and behold: H3605 כלם all H6908 נקבצו these gather themselves together, H935 באו come H2416 לך חי live, H589 אני to thee. I H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3588 כי thou shalt surely H3605 כלם thee with them all, H5716 כעדי as with an ornament, H3847 תלבשׁי clothe H7194 ותקשׁרים and bind H3618 ככלה׃ them as a bride

  19 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H518 אם If H7725 תשׁוב thou return, H7725 ואשׁיבך then will I bring thee again, H6440 לפני before H5975 תעמד thou shalt stand H518 ואם me: and if H3318 תוציא thou take forth H3368 יקר the precious H2151 מזולל from the vile, H6310 כפי as my mouth: H1961 תהיה thou shalt be H7725 ישׁבו let them return H1992 המה   H413 אליך unto H859 ואתה thou H3808 לא not H7725 תשׁוב thee; but return H413 אליהם׃ unto

  22 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר But the word H430 האלהים of God H413 אל unto H8098 שׁמעיה Shemaiah H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  3 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H3915 בלילה night, H1931 ההוא the same H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר that the word H430 אלהים of God H413 אל to H5416 נתן Nathan, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  25 H559 ויאמר said, H4321 מיכיהו And Micaiah H2005 הנך   H7200 ראה thou shalt see H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H834 אשׁר when H935 תבא thou shalt go into H2315 חדר an inner H2315 בחדר chamber H2247 להחבה׃ to hide thyself.

  20 H5641 תסתירם Thou shalt hide H5643 בסתר them in the secret H6440 פניך of thy presence H7407 מרכסי from the pride H376 אישׁ of man: H6845 תצפנם thou shalt keep them secretly H5521 בסכה in a pavilion H7379 מריב from the strife H3956 לשׁנות׃ of tongues.

  3 H5921 על against H5971 עמך thy people, H6191 יערימו They have taken crafty H5475 סוד counsel H3289 ויתיעצו and consulted H5921 על against H6845 צפוניך׃ thy hidden ones.

  19 H559 ויאמרו Then said H8269 השׂרים the princes H413 אל unto H1263 ברוך Baruch, H1980 לך Go, H5641 הסתר hide H859 אתה thee, thou H3414 וירמיהו and Jeremiah; H376 ואישׁ man H408 אל and let no H3045 ידע know H375 איפה where H859 אתם׃  

  26 H6680 ויצוה commanded H4428 המלך But the king H853 את   H3396 ירחמאל Jerahmeel H1121 בן the son H4429 המלך of Hammelech, H853 ואת   H8304 שׂריהו and Seraiah H1121 בן the son H5837 עזריאל of Azriel, H853 ואת   H8018 שׁלמיהו and Shelemiah H1121 בן the son H5655 עבדאל of Abdeel, H3947 לקחת to take H853 את   H1263 ברוך Baruch H5608 הספר the scribe H853 ואת   H3414 ירמיהו and Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet: H5641 ויסתרם hid H3068 יהוה׃ but the LORD

  8 H3947 קח Take H853 את   H4294 המטה the rod, H6950 והקהל   H853 את   H5712 העדה so thou shalt give the congregation H859 אתה thou, H175 ואהרן and Aaron H251 אחיך thy brother, H1696 ודברתם and speak H413 אל ye unto H5553 הסלע the rock H5869 לעיניהם before their eyes; H5414 ונתן and it shall give forth H4325 מימיו his water, H3318 והוצאת and thou shalt bring forth H4325 להם מים to them water H4480 מן out of H5553 הסלע the rock: H8248 והשׁקית drink.   29 H1931 והוא When he H8252 ישׁקט giveth quietness, H4310 ומי who H7561 ירשׁע then can make trouble? H5641 ויסתר and when he hideth H6440 פנים face, H4310 ומי who H7789 ישׁורנו then can behold H5921 ועל him? whether against H1471 גוי a nation, H5921 ועל or against H120 אדם a man H3162 יחד׃ only:

  8 H5526 ויסך Or shut up H1817 בדלתים with doors, H3220 ים the sea H1518 בגיחו when it broke forth, H7358 מרחם of the womb? H3318 יצא׃ it had issued out

  9 H7760 בשׂומי When I made H6051 ענן the cloud H3830 לבשׁו the garment H6205 וערפל thereof, and thick darkness H2854 חתלתו׃ a swaddling band

  9 H935 ויבא And he came H8033 שׁם thither H413 אל unto H4631 המערה a cave, H3885 וילן and lodged H8033 שׁם there; H2009 והנה and, behold, H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אליו to H559 ויאמר him, and he said H4100 לו מה unto him, What H6311 לך פה doest thou here, H452 אליהו׃ Elijah?

  3 H982 בטח Trust H3068 ביהוה in the LORD, H6213 ועשׂה and do H2896 טוב good; H7931 שׁכן shalt thou dwell H776 ארץ in the land, H7462 ורעה thou shalt be fed. H530 אמונה׃ and verily

  19 H3808 לא They shall not H954 יבשׁו be ashamed H6256 בעת time: H7451 רעה in the evil H3117 ובימי and in the days H7459 רעבון of famine H7646 ישׂבעו׃ they shall be satisfied.

  15 H1234 יבקע He cleaved H6697 צרים the rocks H4057 במדבר in the wilderness, H8248 וישׁק and gave drink H8415 כתהמות depths. H7227 רבה׃ as the great

  16 H3318 ויוצא   H5140 נוזלים   H5553 מסלע of the rock, H3381 ויורד to run down H5104 כנהרות like rivers. H4325 מים׃ and caused waters

  23 H6680 ויצו Though he had commanded H7834 שׁחקים the clouds H4605 ממעל from above, H1817 ודלתי the doors H8064 שׁמים of heaven, H6605 פתח׃ and opened

  24 H4305 וימטר And had rained down H5921 עליהם upon H4478 מן manna H398 לאכל them to eat, H1715 ודגן them of the corn H8064 שׁמים of heaven. H5414 נתן׃ and had given

  16 H1931 הוא He H4791 מרומים on high: H7931 ישׁכן shall dwell H4679 מצדות the munitions H5553 סלעים of rocks: H4869 משׂגבו his place of defense H3899 לחמו bread H5414 נתן shall be given H4325 מימיו him; his waters H539 נאמנים׃ sure.

  17 H3588 כי Although H8384 תאנה the fig tree H3808 לא shall not H6524 תפרח blossom, H369 ואין neither H2981 יבול fruit H1612 בגפנים in the vines; H3584 כחשׁ shall fail, H4639 מעשׂה the labor H2132 זית of the olive H7709 ושׁדמות and the fields H3808 לא no H6213 עשׂה shall yield H400 אכל meat; H1504 גזר shall be cut off H4356 ממכלה from the fold, H6629 צאן the flock H369 ואין and no H1241 בקר herd H7517 ברפתים׃ in the stalls:

  18 H589 ואני Yet I H3068 ביהוה in the LORD, H5937 אעלוזה will rejoice H1523 אגילה I will joy H430 באלהי in the God H3468 ישׁעי׃ of my salvation.

  30 H3286 ויעפו shall faint H5288 נערים Even the youths H3021 ויגעו and be weary, H970 ובחורים and the young men H3782 כשׁול shall utterly fall: H3782 יכשׁלו׃ shall utterly fall:

  31 H6960 וקוי But they that wait upon H3068 יהוה the LORD H2498 יחליפו shall renew H3581 כח strength; H5927 יעלו they shall mount up H83 אבר with wings H5404 כנשׁרים as eagles; H7323 ירוצו they shall run, H3808 ולא and not H3021 ייגעו be weary; H1980 ילכו they shall walk, H3808 ולא and not H3286 ייעפו׃ faint.

  10 H3588 כי For H2022 ההרים the mountains H4185 ימושׁו shall depart, H1389 והגבעות and the hills H4131 תמוטנה be removed; H2617 וחסדי but my kindness H853 מאתך   H3808 לא shall not H4185 ימושׁ depart H1285 וברית shall the covenant H7965 שׁלומי of my peace H3808 לא thee, neither H4131 תמוט be removed, H559 אמר saith H7355 מרחמך that hath mercy H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD

  14 H7121 ויקרא called H85 אברהם And Abraham H8034 שׁם the name H4725 המקום place H1931 ההוא of that H3068 יהוה of the LORD H7200 יראה it shall be seen. H834 אשׁר as H559 יאמר it is said H3117 היום this day, H2022 בהר In the mount H3068 יהוה   H7200 יראה׃  

  2 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אליו unto H559 לאמר׃ him, saying,

  2 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H1439 גדעון Gideon, H7227 רב thee too many H5971 העם The people H834 אשׁר that H854 אתך with H5414 מתתי for me to give H853 את   H4080 מדין the Midianites H3027 בידם into their hands, H6435 פן lest H6286 יתפאר vaunt themselves H5921 עלי against H3478 ישׂראל Israel H559 לאמר me, saying, H3027 ידי Mine own hand H3467 הושׁיעה׃ hath saved

  4 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H1439 גדעון Gideon, H5750 עוד yet H5971 העם The people H7227 רב many; H3381 הורד   H853 אותם   H413 אל unto H4325 המים the water, H6884 ואצרפנו and I will try H8033 לך שׁם them for thee there: H1961 והיה and it shall be, H834 אשׁר of whom H559 אמר I say H413 אליך unto H2088 זה thee, This H1980 ילך shall go H854 אתך with H1931 הוא thee, the same H1980 ילך shall go H854 אתך with H3605 וכל thee; and of whomsoever H834 אשׁר thee; and of whomsoever H559 אמר I say H413 אליך unto H2088 זה thee, This H3808 לא shall not H1980 ילך go H5973 עמך with H1931 הוא thee, the same H3808 לא shall not H1980 ילך׃ go.

  4 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H5158 מהנחל of the brook; H8354 תשׁתה thou shalt drink H853 ואת   H6158 הערבים the ravens H6680 צויתי and I have commanded H3557 לכלכלך to feed H8033 שׁם׃ thee there.

  20 H1546 וגלת And the captivity H2426 החל host H2088 הזה of this H1121 לבני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר that H3669 כנענים of the Canaanites, H5704 עד unto H6886 צרפת Zarephath; H1546 וגלת and the captivity H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H5614 בספרד in Sepharad, H3423 ירשׁו shall possess H853 את   H5892 ערי the cities H5045 הנגב׃ of the south.

  15 H3615 ויכלו was spent H4325 המים And the water H4480 מן in H2573 החמת the bottle, H7993 ותשׁלך and she cast H853 את   H3206 הילד the child H8478 תחת under H259 אחד one H7880 השׂיחם׃ of the shrubs.

  17 H7323 וירץ ran H5650 העבד And the servant H7125 לקראתה to meet H559 ויאמר her, and said, H1572 הגמיאיני drink H4994 נא Let me, I pray thee, H4592 מעט a little H4325 מים water H3537 מכדך׃ of thy pitcher.

  5 H3947 ואקחה And I will fetch H6595 פת a morsel H3899 לחם of bread, H5582 וסעדו and comfort H3820 לבכם ye your hearts; H310 אחר after that H5674 תעברו ye shall pass on: H3588 כי for H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H5674 עברתם are ye come H5921 על to H5650 עבדכם your servant. H559 ויאמרו And they said, H3651 כן So H6213 תעשׂה do, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דברת׃ thou hast said.

  18 H559 ותאמר And she said, H8354 שׁתה Drink, H113 אדני my lord: H4116 ותמהר and she hasted, H3381 ותרד and let down H3537 כדה her pitcher H5921 על upon H3027 ידה her hand, H8248 ותשׁקהו׃ and gave him drink.

  19 H3615 ותכל And when she had done H8248 להשׁקתו giving him drink, H559 ותאמר she said, H1571 גם also, H1581 לגמליך for thy camels H7579 אשׁאב I will draw H5704 עד until H518 אם until H3615 כלו they have done H8354 לשׁתת׃ drinking.

  4 H1961 ויהי For it was H3772 בהכרית cut off H348 איזבל when Jezebel H853 את   H5030 נביאי the prophets H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3947 ויקח took H5662 עבדיהו that Obadiah H3967 מאה a hundred H5030 נבאים prophets, H2244 ויחביאם and hid H2572 חמשׁים them by fifty H376 אישׁ them by fifty H4631 במערה in a cave, H3557 וכלכלם and fed H3899 לחם them with bread H4325 ומים׃ and water.)

  16 H1980 ותלך And she went, H3427 ותשׁב and sat her down H5048 לה מנגד over against H7368 הרחק a good way off, H2909 כמטחוי as it were a bowshot: H7198 קשׁת as it were a bowshot: H3588 כי for H559 אמרה she said, H408 אל Let me not H7200 אראה see H4194 במות the death H3206 הילד of the child. H3427 ותשׁב And she sat H5048 מנגד over against H5375 ותשׂא and lifted up H853 את   H6963 קלה her voice, H1058 ותבך׃ and wept.

  39 H3588 כי For, H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3467 המושׁיע which saveth H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H3588 כי though H518 אם though H3426 ישׁנו it be H3129 ביונתן   H1121 בני my son, H3588 כי   H4191 מות he shall surely die. H4191 ימות he shall surely die. H369 ואין But not a man H6030 ענהו answered H3605 מכל among all H5971 העם׃ the people

  45 H559 ויאמר said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H7586 שׁאול Saul, H3129 היונתן   H4191 ימות die, H834 אשׁר who H6213 עשׂה hath wrought H3444 הישׁועה salvation H1419 הגדולה great H2063 הזאת this H3478 בישׂראל in Israel? H2486 חלילה God forbid: H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H518 אם there shall not H5307 יפל fall H8185 משׂערת one hair H7218 ראשׁו of his head H776 ארצה to the ground; H3588 כי for H5973 עם with H430 אלהים God H6213 עשׂה he hath wrought H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה this H6299 ויפדו rescued H5971 העם So the people H853 את   H3129 יונתן   H3808 ולא not. H4191 מת׃ that he died

  3 H7650 וישׁבע swore H5750 עוד moreover, H1732 דוד And David H559 ויאמר and said, H3045 ידע certainly knoweth H3045 ידע certainly knoweth H1 אביך Thy father H3588 כי that H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן grace H5869 בעיניך in thine eyes; H559 ויאמר and he saith, H408 אל Let not H3045 ידע know H2063 זאת this, H3083 יהונתן Jonathan H6435 פן lest H6087 יעצב he be grieved: H199 ואולם but truly H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H2416 וחי liveth, H5315 נפשׁך and thy soul H3588 כי but a step H996 ביני between H996 ובין   H4194 המות׃ me and death.
