  2 H5221 ויך And he smote H853 את   H4124 מואב Moab, H4058 וימדדם and measured H2256 בחבל them with a line, H7901 השׁכב   H853 אותם   H776 ארצה to the ground; H4058 וימדד measured H8147 שׁני even with two H2256 חבלים lines H4191 להמית he to put to death, H4393 ומלא and with one full H2256 החבל line H2421 להחיות to keep alive.   5 H1961 ויהי But it came to pass, H4194 כמות was dead, H256 אחאב when Ahab H6586 ויפשׁע rebelled H4428 מלך that the king H4124 מואב of Moab H4428 במלך against the king H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  20 H3117 בימיו In his days H6586 פשׁע revolted H123 אדום Edom H8478 מתחת from under H3027 יד the hand H3063 יהודה of Judah, H4427 וימלכו and made H5921 עליהם over H4428 מלך׃ a king

H4069 מדוע why H309 אחרו tarry H6471 פעמי the wheels H4818 מרכבותיו׃ of his chariots?

  24 H3808 הלא Wilt not H853 את   H834 אשׁר that which H3423 יורישׁך thou possess H3645 כמושׁ Chemosh H430 אלהיך thy god H853 אותו   H3423 תירשׁ giveth thee to possess? H853 ואת   H3605 כל   H834 אשׁר   H3423 הורישׁ shall drive out H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H6440 מפנינו from before H853 אותו   H3423 נירשׁ׃ us, them will we possess.

  10 H7971 וישׁלחו Therefore they sent H853 את   H727 ארון the ark H430 האלהים of God H6138 עקרון to Ekron. H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H935 כבוא came H727 ארון as the ark H430 האלהים of God H6138 עקרון to Ekron, H2199 ויזעקו cried out, H6139 העקרנים that the Ekronites H559 לאמר saying, H5437 הסבו They have brought about H413 אלי to H853 את   H727 ארון the ark H430 אלהי of the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4191 להמיתני us, to slay H853 ואת   H5971 עמי׃ us and our people.

  3 H3947 ולקחת And take H3027 בידך with H6235 עשׂרה thee ten H3899 לחם loaves, H5350 ונקדים and cracknels, H1228 ובקבק and a cruse H1706 דבשׁ of honey, H935 ובאת and go H413 אליו to H1931 הוא him: he H5046 יגיד shall tell H4100 לך מה thee what H1961 יהיה shall become H5288 לנער׃ of the child.

  8 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H413 אל unto H2371 חזהאל Hazael, H3947 קח Take H3027 בידך in thine hand, H4503 מנחה a present H1980 ולך and go, H7125 לקראת   H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H1875 ודרשׁת and inquire H854 את by H3069 יהוה   H853 מאותו   H559 לאמר him, saying, H2421 האחיה Shall I recover H2483 מחלי   H2088 זה׃  

  9 H1980 וילך went H2371 חזאל So Hazael H7125 לקראתו   H3947 ויקח him, and took H4503 מנחה a present H3027 בידו with H3605 וכל him, even of every H2898 טוב good thing H1834 דמשׂק of Damascus, H4853 משׂא burden, H705 ארבעים forty H1581 גמל camels' H935 ויבא and came H5975 ויעמד and stood H6440 לפניו before H559 ויאמר him, and said, H1121 בנך Thy son H1130 בן הדד Ben-hadad H4428 מלך king H758 ארם of Syria H7971 שׁלחני hath sent H413 אליך me to H559 לאמר thee, saying, H2421 האחיה Shall I recover H2483 מחלי   H2088 זה׃  

  10 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H477 אלישׁע And Elisha H1980 לך him, Go, H559 אמר say H3808 לא   H2421 חיה   H2421 תחיה   H7200 והראני hath showed H3068 יהוה howbeit the LORD H3588 כי me that H4191 מות he shall surely die. H4191 ימות׃ he shall surely die.

  14 H2009 הנה Behold, H3068 יהוה will the LORD H5062 נגף smite H4046 מגפה plague H1419 גדולה with a great H5971 בעמך thy people, H1121 ובבניך and thy children, H802 ובנשׁיך and thy wives, H3605 ובכל and all H7399 רכושׁך׃ thy goods:

  15 H859 ואתה And thou H2483 בחליים sickness H7227 רבים great H4245 במחלה by disease H4578 מעיך of thy bowels, H5704 עד until H3318 יצאו fall out H4578 מעיך thy bowels H4480 מן by reason of H2483 החלי the sickness H3117 ימים day H5921 על by H3117 ימים׃ day.

  3 H3808 הלא not H343 איד destruction H5767 לעול to the wicked? H5235 ונכר and a strange H6466 לפעלי to the workers H205 און׃ of iniquity?

  9 H1819 דומה is like H1730 דודי My beloved H6643 לצבי a roe H176 או or H6082 לעפר a young H354 האילים hart: H2009 הנה behold, H2088 זה he H5975 עומד standeth H310 אחר behind H3796 כתלנו our wall, H7688 משׁגיח he looketh forth H4480 מן at H2474 החלנות the windows, H6692 מציץ showing himself H4480 מן through H2762 החרכים׃ the lattice.

  19 H5414 ונתן And have cast H853 את   H430 אלהיהם their gods H784 באשׁ into the fire: H3588 כי for H3808 לא no H430 אלהים gods, H1992 המה they H3588 כי but H518 אם but H4639 מעשׂה the work H3027 ידי hands, H120 אדם of men's H6086 עץ wood H68 ואבן and stone: H6 ויאבדום׃ therefore they have destroyed

H428 האלה׃ these

  5 H7901 וישׁכב And as he lay H3462 ויישׁן and slept H8478 תחת under H7574 רתם juniper tree, H259 אחד a H2009 והנה behold, H2088 זה then H4397 מלאך an angel H5060 נגע touched H559 בו ויאמר him, and said H6965 לו קום unto him, Arise H398 אכול׃ eat.

  7 H7725 וישׁב came again H4397 מלאך And the angel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H8145 שׁנית the second time, H5060 ויגע and touched H559 בו ויאמר him, and said, H6965 קום Arise H398 אכל eat; H3588 כי because H7227 רב too great H4480 ממך for H1870 הדרך׃ the journey

  17 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל to H452 אליהו Elijah H8664 התשׁבי the Tishbite, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  2 H5307 ויפל fell down H274 אחזיה And Ahaziah H1157 בעד through H7639 השׂבכה a lattice H5944 בעליתו in his upper chamber H834 אשׁר that H8111 בשׁמרון in Samaria, H2470 ויחל and was sick: H7971 וישׁלח and he sent H4397 מלאכים messengers, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אלהם unto H1980 לכו them, Go, H1875 דרשׁו inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון of Ekron H518 אם whether H2421 אחיה I shall recover H2483 מחלי   H2088 זה׃  

  8 H559 ויאמרו And he said, H413 אליו   H376 אישׁ him, a hairy man, H1167 בעל   H8181 שׂער   H232 ואזור with a girdle H5785 עור of leather H247 אזור and girt H4975 במתניו about his loins. H559 ויאמר   H452 אליה Elijah H8664 התשׁבי the Tishbite. H1931 הוא׃ It

  15 H1696 וידבר said H4397 מלאך And the angel H3069 יהוה   H413 אל unto H452 אליהו Elijah, H3381 רד Go down H854 אותו with H408 אל him: be not afraid H3372 תירא him: be not afraid H6440 מפניו of H6965 ויקם him. And he arose, H3381 וירד and went down H854 אותו with H413 אל him unto H4428 המלך׃ the king.

  16 H1696 וידבר And he said H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3282 יען   H834 אשׁר on which H7971 שׁלחת thou hast sent H4397 מלאכים messengers H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון of Ekron, H1097 המבלי not because H369 אין no H430 אלהים God H3478 בישׂראל in Israel H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1697 בדברו of his word? H3651 לכן therefore H4296 המטה that bed H834 אשׁר   H5927 עלית thou art gone up, H8033 שׁם on which H3808 לא thou shalt not H3381 תרד come down H4480 ממנה not because H3588 כי but H4191 מות shalt surely die. H4191 תמות׃ shalt surely die.

  8 H1961 ויהי And it was H8085 כשׁמע had heard H477 אלישׁע when Elisha H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God H3588 כי that H7167 קרע had rent H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את   H899 בגדיו his clothes, H7971 וישׁלח that he sent H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H559 לאמר saying, H4100 למה Wherefore H7167 קרעת hast thou rent H899 בגדיך thy clothes? H935 יבא let him come H4994 נא now H413 אלי to H3045 וידע me, and he shall know H3588 כי that H3426 ישׁ there is H5030 נביא a prophet H3478 בישׂראל׃ in Israel.

  15 H7725 וישׁב And he returned H413 אל to H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H1931 הוא he H3605 וכל and all H4264 מחנהו his company, H935 ויבא and came, H5975 ויעמד and stood H6440 לפניו before H559 ויאמר him: and he said, H2009 הנה Behold, H4994 נא now H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H369 אין no H430 אלהים God H3605 בכל in all H776 הארץ the earth, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H3478 בישׂראל in Israel: H6258 ועתה now H3947 קח take H4994 נא therefore, I pray thee, H1293 ברכה a blessing H853 מאת   H5650 עבדך׃ thy servant.

  11 H4171 ההימיר changed H1471 גוי Hath a nation H430 אלהים gods, H1992 והמה which H3808 לא yet no H430 אלהים gods? H5971 ועמי but my people H4171 המיר have changed H3519 כבודו their glory H1094 בלוא   H3276 יועיל׃ profit.

  12 H8074 שׁמו Be astonished, H8064 שׁמים O ye heavens, H5921 על at H2063 זאת this, H8175 ושׂערו and be horribly afraid, H2717 חרבו desolate, H3966 מאד be ye very H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  13 H3588 כי For H8147 שׁתים two H7451 רעות evils; H6213 עשׂה have committed H5971 עמי my people H853 אתי   H5800 עזבו they have forsaken H4726 מקור me the fountain H4325 מים waters, H2416 חיים of living H2672 לחצב hewed them out H877 להם בארות cisterns, H877 בארת cisterns, H7665 נשׁברים broken H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא no H3557 יכלו can hold H4325 המים׃ water.

  8 H8104 משׁמרים They that observe H1892 הבלי vanities H7723 שׁוא lying H2617 חסדם their own mercy. H5800 יעזבו׃ forsake

  17 H6086 ומעץ   H1847 הדעת of the knowledge H2896 טוב of good H7451 ורע and evil, H3808 לא thou shalt not H398 תאכל eat H4480 ממנו of H3588 כי it: for H3117 ביום in the day H398 אכלך that thou eatest H4480 ממנו thereof H4191 מות thou shalt surely die. H4191 תמות׃ thou shalt surely die.

  4 H559 ויאמר said H5175 הנחשׁ And the serpent H413 אל unto H802 האשׁה the woman, H3808 לא Ye shall not H4191 מות surely die: H4191 תמתון׃ surely die:

  65 H3588 כי For H559 אמר had said H3068 יהוה the LORD H4191 להם מות   H4191 ימתו   H4057 במדבר in the wilderness. H3808 ולא And there was not H3498 נותר left H1992 מהם   H376 אישׁ a man H3588 כי them, save H518 אם them, save H3612 כלב Caleb H1121 בן the son H3312 יפנה of Jephunneh, H3091 ויהושׁע and Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון׃ of Nun.

  19 H5414 ויתן will also deliver H3068 יהוה the LORD H1571 גם Moreover H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5973 עמך with H3027 ביד thee into the hand H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines: H4279 ומחר and tomorrow H859 אתה thou H1121 ובניך and thy sons H5973 עמי with H1571 גם also H853 את   H4264 מחנה the host H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5414 יתן shall deliver H3068 יהוה me: the LORD H3027 ביד into the hand H6430 פלשׁתים׃ of the Philistines.

  12 H859 ואת thou H6965 קומי Arise H1980 לכי therefore, get H1004 לביתך thee to thine own house: H935 בבאה enter H7272 רגליך when thy feet H5892 העירה into the city, H4191 ומת shall die. H3206 הילד׃ the child

  19 H3651 כן As H6666 צדקה righteousness H2416 לחיים to life: H7291 ומרדף so he that pursueth H7451 רעה evil H4194 למותו׃ to his own death.

  32 H7451 ברעתו in his wickedness: H1760 ידחה is driven away H7563 רשׁע The wicked H2620 וחסה hath hope H4194 במותו in his death. H6662 צדיק׃ but the righteous

  4 H2005 הן Behold, H3605 כל all H5315 הנפשׁות souls H2007 לי הנה   H5315 כנפשׁ are mine; as the soul H1 האב of the father, H5315 וכנפשׁ so also the soul H1121 הבן of the son H2007 לי הנה   H5315 הנפשׁ is mine: the soul H2398 החטאת that sinneth, H1931 היא it H4191 תמות׃ shall die.

  2 H5307 ויפל fell down H274 אחזיה And Ahaziah H1157 בעד through H7639 השׂבכה a lattice H5944 בעליתו in his upper chamber H834 אשׁר that H8111 בשׁמרון in Samaria, H2470 ויחל and was sick: H7971 וישׁלח and he sent H4397 מלאכים messengers, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אלהם unto H1980 לכו them, Go, H1875 דרשׁו inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון of Ekron H518 אם whether H2421 אחיה I shall recover H2483 מחלי   H2088 זה׃  

  3 H4397 ומלאך But the angel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1696 דבר said H413 אל to H452 אליה Elijah H8664 התשׁבי the Tishbite, H6965 קום Arise, H5927 עלה go up H7125 לקראת to meet H4397 מלאכי the messengers H4428 מלך of the king H8111 שׁמרון of Samaria, H1696 ודבר and say H413 אלהם unto H1097 המבלי them, not because H369 אין not H430 אלהים a God H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H859 אתם ye H1980 הלכים go H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון׃ of Ekron?

  4 H3651 ולכן Now therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H4296 המטה that bed H834 אשׁר on which H5927 עלית thou art gone up, H8033 שׁם on which H3808 לא Thou shalt not H3381 תרד come down H4480 ממנה from H3588 כי but H4191 מות shalt surely die. H4191 תמות shalt surely die. H1980 וילך departed. H452 אליה׃ And Elijah

  13 H4191 וימת died H7586 שׁאול So Saul H4603 במעלו he committed H834 אשׁר which H4604 מעל for his transgression H3068 ביהוה against the LORD, H5921 על against H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not, H8104 שׁמר he kept H1571 וגם and also H7592 לשׁאול for asking H178 באוב of a familiar spirit, H1875 לדרושׁ׃ to inquire

  14 H3808 ולא not H1875 דרשׁ And inquired H3068 ביהוה of the LORD: H4191 וימיתהו therefore he slew H5437 ויסב him, and turned H853 את   H4410 המלוכה the kingdom H1732 לדויד unto David H1121 בן the son H3448 ישׁי׃ of Jesse.

  4 H7235 ירבו shall be multiplied H6094 עצבותם Their sorrows H312 אחר another H4116 מהרו hasten H1077 בל will I not H5258 אסיך offer, H5262 נסכיהם their drink offerings H1818 מדם of blood H1077 ובל nor H5375 אשׂא take up H853 את   H8034 שׁמותם their names H5921 על into H8193 שׂפתי׃ my lips.

  22 H5066 יגישׁו Let them bring forth, H5046 ויגידו and show H853 לנו את   H834 אשׁר us what H7136 תקרינה shall happen: H7223 הראשׁנות the former things, H4100 מה what H2007 הנה they H5046 הגידו let them show H7760 ונשׂימה that we may consider H3820 לבנו , that we may consider H3045 ונדעה them, and know H319 אחריתן the latter end H176 או of them; or H935 הבאות us things for to come. H8085 השׁמיענו׃ declare

  23 H5046 הגידו Show H857 האתיות the things that are to come H268 לאחור hereafter, H3045 ונדעה that we may know H3588 כי that H430 אלהים gods: H859 אתם ye H637 אף yea, H3190 תיטיבו do good, H7489 ותרעו or do evil, H8159 ונשׁתעה that we may be dismayed, H7200 ונרא and behold H3162 יחדו׃ together.

  18 H559 ויאמר Then said H413 אל he unto H2078 זבח Zebah H413 ואל   H6759 צלמנע and Zalmunna, H375 איפה What manner H376 האנשׁים of men H834 אשׁר whom H2026 הרגתם ye slew H8396 בתבור at Tabor? H559 ויאמרו And they answered, H3644 כמוך As thou H3644 כמוהם   H259 אחד so they; each one H8389 כתאר resembled H1121 בני the children H4428 המלך׃ of a king.

  14 H559 ויאמר And he said H4100 לה מה unto her, What H8389 תארו form H559 ותאמר he of? And she said, H376 אישׁ man H2205 זקן An old H5927 עלה cometh up; H1931 והוא and he H5844 עטה covered H4598 מעיל with a mantle. H3045 וידע perceived H7586 שׁאול And Saul H3588 כי that H8050 שׁמואל it Samuel, H1931 הוא and he H6915 ויקד stooped H639 אפים with face H776 ארצה to the ground, H7812 וישׁתחו׃ and bowed himself.

  2 H6256 בעת time H1931 ההיא At the same H1696 דבר spoke H3069 יהוה   H3027 ביד by H3470 ישׁעיהו Isaiah H1121 בן the son H531 אמוץ of Amoz, H559 לאמר saying, H1980 לך Go H6605 ופתחת and loose H8242 השׂק the sackcloth H5921 מעל from off H4975 מתניך thy loins, H5275 ונעלך thy shoe H2502 תחלץ and put off H5921 מעל from H7272 רגליך thy foot. H6213 ויעשׂ And he did H3651 כן so, H1980 הלך walking H6174 ערום naked H3182 ויחף׃ and barefoot.

  4 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H954 יבשׁו shall be ashamed H5030 הנביאים the prophets H376 אישׁ every one H2384 מחזינו of his vision, H5012 בהנבאתו when he hath prophesied; H3808 ולא neither H3847 ילבשׁו shall they wear H155 אדרת garment H8181 שׂער a rough H4616 למען to H3584 כחשׁ׃ deceive:

  4 H1961 ויהי For it was H3772 בהכרית cut off H348 איזבל when Jezebel H853 את   H5030 נביאי the prophets H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3947 ויקח took H5662 עבדיהו that Obadiah H3967 מאה a hundred H5030 נבאים prophets, H2244 ויחביאם and hid H2572 חמשׁים them by fifty H376 אישׁ them by fifty H4631 במערה in a cave, H3557 וכלכלם and fed H3899 לחם them with bread H4325 ומים׃ and water.)

  10 H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H518 אם no H3426 ישׁ there is H1471 גוי nation H4467 וממלכה or kingdom, H834 אשׁר whither H3808 לא hath not H7971 שׁלח sent H113 אדני my lord H8033 שׁם whither H1245 לבקשׁך to seek H559 ואמרו thee: and when they said, H369 אין not H7650 והשׁביע he took an oath H853 את   H4467 הממלכה of the kingdom H853 ואת   H1471 הגוי and nation, H3588 כי that H3808 לא thee not. H4672 ימצאכה׃ they found

  42 H5927 ויעלה went up H256 אחאב So Ahab H398 לאכל to eat H8354 ולשׁתות and to drink. H452 ואליהו And Elijah H5927 עלה went up H413 אל to H7218 ראשׁ the top H3760 הכרמל of Carmel; H1457 ויגהר and he cast himself down H776 ארצה upon the earth, H7760 וישׂם and put H6440 פניו his face H996 בין between H1290 ברכו׃ his knees,
