  3 H3426 וישׁ also there were H834 אשׁר that H559 אמרים said, H7704 שׂדתינו our lands, H3754 וכרמינו vineyards, H1004 ובתינו and houses, H587 אנחנו We H6148 ערבים have mortgaged H3947 ונקחה that we might buy H1715 דגן corn, H7458 ברעב׃ because of the dearth.

  4 H3426 וישׁ There were H834 אשׁר also that H559 אמרים said, H3867 לוינו We have borrowed H3701 כסף money H4060 למדת tribute, H4428 המלך for the king's H7704 שׂדתינו our lands H3754 וכרמינו׃ and vineyards.

  5 H6258 ועתה Yet now H1320 כבשׂר our flesh H251 אחינו of our brethren, H1320 בשׂרנו as the flesh H1121 כבניהם our children H1121 בנינו as their children: H2009 והנה and, lo, H587 אנחנו we H3533 כבשׁים bring into bondage H853 את   H1121 בנינו our sons H853 ואת   H1323 בנתינו and our daughters H5650 לעבדים to be servants, H3426 וישׁ are H1323 מבנתינו and of our daughters H3533 נכבשׁות brought unto bondage H369 ואין neither H410 לאל in our power H3027 ידנו in our power H7704 ושׂדתינו men have our lands H3754 וכרמינו and vineyards.   7 H4427 וימלך Then I consulted H3820 לבי myself, H5921 עלי with H7378 ואריבה and I rebuked H853 את   H2715 החרים the nobles, H853 ואת   H5461 הסגנים and the rulers, H559 ואמרה and said H5378 להם משׁא exact H376 אישׁ every one H251 באחיו of his brother. H859 אתם unto them, Ye H5383 נשׁאים   H5414 ואתן And I set H5921 עליהם against H6952 קהלה assembly H1419 גדולה׃ a great

  8 H559 ואמרה And I said H587 להם אנחנו unto them, We H7069 קנינו have redeemed H853 את   H251 אחינו our brethren H3064 היהודים the Jews, H4376 הנמכרים which were sold H1471 לגוים unto the heathen; H1767 כדי after our ability H1571 בנו וגם even H859 אתם and will ye H4376 תמכרו sell H853 את   H251 אחיכם your brethren? H4376 ונמכרו or shall they be sold H2790 לנו ויחרישׁו unto us? Then held they their peace, H3808 ולא nothing H4672 מצאו and found H1696 דבר׃  

  9 H559 ויאמר Also I said, H3808 לא It not H2896 טוב good H1697 הדבר good H834 אשׁר that H859 אתם ye H6213 עשׂים do: H3808 הלוא ought ye not H3374 ביראת in the fear H430 אלהינו of our God H1980 תלכו to walk H2781 מחרפת because of the reproach H1471 הגוים of the heathen H341 אויבינו׃ our enemies?

  10 H1571 וגם likewise, H589 אני I H251 אחי my brethren, H5288 ונערי and my servants, H5383 נשׁים might exact H3701 בהם כסף of them money H1715 ודגן and corn: H5800 נעזבה you, let us leave off H4994 נא I pray H853 את   H4855 המשׁא usury. H2088 הזה׃ this

  11 H7725 השׁיבו Restore, H4994 נא I pray H3117 להם כהיום you, to them, even this day, H7704 שׂדתיהם their lands, H3754 כרמיהם their vineyards, H2132 זיתיהם their oliveyards, H1004 ובתיהם and their houses, H3967 ומאת also the hundredth H3701 הכסף of the money, H1715 והדגן and of the corn, H8492 התירושׁ the wine, H3323 והיצהר and the oil, H834 אשׁר that H859 אתם ye H5383 נשׁים׃ exact

  12 H559 ויאמרו Then said H7725 נשׁיב they, We will restore H1992 ומהם   H3808 לא nothing H1245 נבקשׁ and will require H3651 כן them; so H6213 נעשׂה will we do H834 כאשׁר as H859 אתה thou H559 אומר sayest. H7121 ואקרא Then I called H853 את   H3548 הכהנים the priests, H7650 ואשׁביעם and took an oath H6213 לעשׂות of them, that they should do H1697 כדבר promise. H2088 הזה׃ according to this

  13 H1571 גם Also H2684 חצני my lap, H5287 נערתי I shook H559 ואמרה and said, H3602 ככה So H5287 ינער shake out H430 האלהים God H853 את   H3605 כל every H376 האישׁ man H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא not H6965 יקים performeth H853 את   H1697 הדבר promise, H2088 הזה this H1004 מביתו from his house, H3018 ומיגיעו and from his labor, H3602 וככה even thus H1961 יהיה be H5287 נעור he shaken out, H7386 ורק and emptied. H559 ויאמרו said, H3605 כל And all H6951 הקהל the congregation H543 אמן Amen, H1984 ויהללו and praised H853 את   H3069 יהוה   H6213 ויעשׂ did H5971 העם And the people H1697 כדבר promise.   14 H1571 גם Moreover H3117 מיום from the time H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה I was appointed H853 אתי   H1961 להיות to be H6346 פחם their governor H776 בארץ in the land H3063 יהודה of Judah, H8141 משׁנת year H6242 עשׂרים from the twentieth H5704 ועד even unto H8141 שׁנת year H7970 שׁלשׁים and thirtieth H8147 ושׁתים the two H783 לארתחשׁסתא of Artaxerxes H4428 המלך the king, H8141 שׁנים years, H8147 שׁתים twelve H6240 עשׂרה , twelve H589 אני I H251 ואחי and my brethren H3899 לחם the bread H6346 הפחה of the governor. H3808 לא have not H398 אכלתי׃ eaten

  15 H6346 והפחות governors H7223 הראשׁנים But the former H834 אשׁר that H6440 לפני before H3513 הכבידו me were chargeable H5921 על unto H5971 העם the people, H3947 ויקחו and had taken H1992 מהם   H3899 בלחם them bread H3196 ויין and wine, H310 אחר beside H3701 כסף of silver; H8255 שׁקלים shekels H705 ארבעים forty H1571 גם yea, H5288 נעריהם even their servants H7980 שׁלטו bore rule H5921 על over H5971 העם the people: H589 ואני I, H3808 לא not H6213 עשׂיתי did H3651 כן but so H6440 מפני because H3374 יראת of the fear H430 אלהים׃ of God.

  16 H1571 וגם Yea, also H4399 במלאכת in the work H2346 החומה wall, H2063 הזאת of this H2388 החזקתי I continued H7704 ושׂדה we any land: H3808 לא neither H7069 קנינו bought H3605 וכל and all H5288 נערי my servants H6908 קבוצים gathered H8033 שׁם thither H5921 על unto H4399 המלאכה׃ the work.

  17 H3064 והיהודים of the Jews H5461 והסגנים and rulers, H3967 מאה a hundred H2572 וחמשׁים and fifty H376 אישׁ and fifty H935 והבאים beside those that came H413 אלינו unto H4480 מן us from among H1471 הגוים the heathen H834 אשׁר that H5439 סביבתינו about H5921 על Moreover at H7979 שׁלחני׃ my table

  18 H834 ואשׁר Now which H1961 היה was H6213 נעשׂה prepared H3117 ליום daily H259 אחד daily H7794 שׁור ox H259 אחד one H6629 צאן sheep; H8337 שׁשׁ six H1305 בררות choice H6833 וצפרים also fowls H6213 נעשׂו were prepared H996 לי ובין for me, and once H6235 עשׂרת in ten H3117 ימים days H3605 בכל of all H3196 יין sorts of wine: H7235 להרבה store H5973 ועם yet for all H2088 זה this H3899 לחם I the bread H6346 הפחה of the governor, H3808 לא not H1245 בקשׁתי required H3588 כי because H3513 כבדה was heavy H5656 העבדה the bondage H5921 על upon H5971 העם people.   19 H2142 זכרה Think H430 לי אלהי upon me, my God, H2896 לטובה for good, H3605 כל to all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂיתי I have done H5921 על for H5971 העם people. H2088 הזה׃ this

  7 H559 ויאמר said, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7200 ראה   H7200 ראיתי   H853 את   H6040 עני the affliction H5971 עמי of my people H834 אשׁר which H4714 במצרים in Egypt, H853 ואת   H6818 צעקתם their cry H8085 שׁמעתי and have heard H6440 מפני by reason of H5065 נגשׂיו their taskmasters; H3588 כי for H3045 ידעתי I know H853 את   H4341 מכאביו׃ their sorrows;

  25 H518 אם If H3701 כסף money H3867 תלוה thou lend H853 את   H5971 עמי to my people H853 את   H6041 העני poor H5973 עמך by H3808 לא thee, thou shalt not H1961 תהיה be H5383 לו כנשׁה to him as a usurer, H3808 לא neither H7760 תשׂימון shalt thou lay H5921 עליו upon H5392 נשׁך׃ him usury.

  26 H518 אם If H2254 חבל   H2254 תחבל   H8008 שׂלמת   H7453 רעך   H5704 עד it unto him by that H935 בא goeth down: H8121 השׁמשׁ the sun H7725 תשׁיבנו׃ thou shalt deliver

  27 H3588 כי For H1931 הוא that H3682 כסותה his covering H905 לבדה only, H1931 הוא it H8071 שׂמלתו his raiment H5785 לערו for his skin: H4100 במה wherein H7901 ישׁכב shall he sleep? H1961 והיה and it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H6817 יצעק he crieth H413 אלי unto H8085 ושׁמעתי me, that I will hear; H3588 כי for H2587 חנון gracious. H589 אני׃ I

  35 H3588 וכי And if H4134 ימוך be waxen poor, H251 אחיך thy brother H4131 ומטה and fallen in decay H3027 ידו and fallen in decay H5973 עמך with H2388 והחזקת thee; then thou shalt relieve H1616 בו גר him: a stranger, H8453 ותושׁב or a sojourner; H2421 וחי that he may live H5973 עמך׃ with

  36 H408 אל thou no H3947 תקח Take H853 מאתו   H5392 נשׁך usury H8635 ותרבית   H3372 ויראת   H430 מאלהיך   H2421 וחי may live H251 אחיך that thy brother H5973 עמך׃ with

  37 H853 את   H3701 כספך him thy money H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5414 תתן give H5392 לו בנשׁך upon usury, H4768 ובמרבית for increase. H3808 לא nor H5414 תתן lend H400 אכלך׃ him thy victuals

  7 H3588 כי If H1961 יהיה there be H34 בך אביון among you a poor man H259 מאחד of one H251 אחיך of thy brethren H259 באחד within any H8179 שׁעריך of thy gates H776 בארצך in thy land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H3808 לך לא thee, thou shalt not H553 תאמץ harden H853 את   H3824 לבבך thine heart, H3808 ולא nor H7092 תקפץ shut H853 את   H3027 ידך thine hand H251 מאחיך brother: H34 האביון׃ from thy poor

  8 H3588 כי But H6605 פתח thou shalt open H6605 תפתח wide H853 את   H3027 ידך thine hand H5670 לו והעבט unto him, and shalt surely lend H5670 תעביטנו unto him, and shalt surely lend H1767 די him sufficient H4270 מחסרו for his need, H834 אשׁר which H2637 יחסר׃ he wanteth.

  9 H8104 השׁמר Beware H6435 לך פן that H1961 יהיה there be H1697 דבר not a thought H5973 עם in H3824 לבבך heart, H1100 בליעל thy wicked H559 לאמר saying, H7126 קרבה is at hand; H8141 שׁנת year, H7651 השׁבע The seventh H8141 שׁנת the year H8059 השׁמטה of release, H7489 ורעה be evil H5869 עינך and thine eye H251 באחיך brother, H34 האביון against thy poor H3808 ולא him naught; H5414 תתן and thou givest H7121 לו וקרא and he cry H5921 עליך against H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H1961 והיה thee, and it be H2399 בך חטא׃ sin

  10 H5414 נתון when thou givest H5414 תתן   H3808 לו ולא shall not H7489 ירע be grieved H3824 לבבך him, and thine heart H5414 בתתך   H3588 לו כי unto him: because that H1558 בגלל for H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה this H1288 יברכך shall bless H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל thee in all H4639 מעשׂך thy works, H3605 ובכל and in all H4916 משׁלח that thou puttest H3027 ידך׃ thine hand

  11 H3588 כי For H3808 לא shall never H2308 יחדל cease H34 אביון the poor H7130 מקרב out of H776 הארץ the land: H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H559 לאמר thee, saying, H6605 פתח Thou shalt open H6605 תפתח wide H853 את   H3027 ידך thine hand H251 לאחיך unto thy brother, H6041 לעניך to thy poor, H34 ולאבינך and to thy needy, H776 בארצך׃ in thy land.

  38 H518 אם If H5921 עלי against H127 אדמתי my land H2199 תזעק cry H3162 ויחד likewise H8525 תלמיה me, or that the furrows H1058 יבכיון׃ thereof complain;

  39 H518 אם If H3581 כחה the fruits H398 אכלתי I have eaten H1097 בלי thereof without H3701 כסף money, H5315 ונפשׁ their life: H1167 בעליה or have caused the owners H5301 הפחתי׃ thereof to lose

  28 H935 להביא to come H5921 עליו unto H6818 צעקת So that they cause the cry H1800 דל of the poor H6818 וצעקת the cry H6041 עניים of the afflicted. H8085 ישׁמע׃ him, and he heareth

  7 H3588 כי For H3754 כרם the vineyard H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H376 ואישׁ and the men H3063 יהודה of Judah H5194 נטע plant: H8191 שׁעשׁועיו his pleasant H6960 ויקו and he looked H4941 למשׁפט for judgment, H2009 והנה but behold H4939 משׂפח oppression; H6666 לצדקה for righteousness, H2009 והנה but behold H6818 צעקה׃ a cry.

  57 H3605 וכל And all H776 הארץ countries H935 באו came H4714 מצרימה into Egypt H7666 לשׁבר for to buy H413 אל to H3130 יוסף Joseph H3588 כי because H2388 חזק was sore H7458 הרעב that the famine H3605 בכל in all H776 הארץ׃ lands.

  2 H559 ויאמר And he said, H2009 הנה Behold, H8085 שׁמעתי I have heard H3588 כי that H3426 ישׁ there is H7668 שׁבר corn H4714 במצרים in Egypt: H3381 רדו get you down H8033 שׁמה thither, H7666 ושׁברו and buy H8033 לנו משׁם for us from thence; H2421 ונחיה that we may live, H3808 ולא and not H4191 נמות׃ die.

  8 H559 ויאמר said H3063 יהודה And Judah H413 אל unto H3478 ישׂראל Israel H1 אביו his father, H7971 שׁלחה Send H5288 הנער the lad H854 אתי with H6965 ונקומה me, and we will arise H1980 ונלכה and go; H2421 ונחיה that we may live, H3808 ולא and not H4191 נמות die, H1571 גם both H587 אנחנו we, H1571 גם and H859 אתה thou, H1571 גם also H2945 טפנו׃ our little ones.

  3 H2009 הנה Lo, H5159 נחלת a heritage H3068 יהוה of the LORD: H1121 בנים children H7939 שׂכר reward. H6529 פרי the fruit H990 הבטן׃ of the womb

  4 H2671 כחצים As arrows H3027 ביד in the hand H1368 גבור of a mighty H3651 כן man; so H1121 בני children H5271 הנעורים׃ of the youth.

  5 H835 אשׁרי Happy H1397 הגבר the man H834 אשׁר that H4390 מלא full H853 את   H827 אשׁפתו hath his quiver H1992 מהם   H3808 לא them: they shall not H954 יבשׁו be ashamed, H3588 כי but H1696 ידברו they shall speak H854 את with H341 אויבים the enemies H8179 בשׁער׃ in the gate.

  2 H3018 יגיע the labor H3709 כפיך of thine hands: H3588 כי For H398 תאכל thou shalt eat H835 אשׁריך happy H2896 וטוב׃ thou and well

  3 H802 אשׁתך Thy wife H1612 כגפן vine H6509 פריה as a fruitful H3411 בירכתי by the sides H1004 ביתך of thine house: H1121 בניך thy children H8363 כשׁתלי plants H2132 זיתים like olive H5439 סביב round about H7979 לשׁלחנך׃ thy table.

  4 H2009 הנה Behold, H3588 כי that H3651 כן thus H1288 יברך be blessed H1397 גבר shall the man H3373 ירא that feareth H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  2 H518 אם If H3808 לא ye will not H8085 תשׁמעו hear, H518 ואם and if H3808 לא ye will not H7760 תשׂימו lay H5921 על to H3820 לב heart, H5414 לתת to give H3519 כבוד glory H8034 לשׁמי unto my name, H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H7971 ושׁלחתי I will even send H853 בכם את   H3994 המארה a curse H779 וארותי upon you, and I will curse H853 את   H1293 ברכותיכם your blessings: H1571 וגם yea, H779 ארותיה I have cursed H3588 כי them already, because H369 אינכם ye do not H7760 שׂמים lay H5921 על to H3820 לב׃ heart.

  15 H8552 ויתם failed H3701 הכסף And when money H776 מארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H776 ומארץ and in the land H3667 כנען of Canaan, H935 ויבאו came H3605 כל all H4713 מצרים   H413 אל unto H3130 יוסף Joseph, H559 לאמר and said, H3051 הבה Give H3899 לנו לחם us bread: H4100 ולמה for why H4191 נמות should we die H5048 נגדך in thy presence? H3588 כי for H656 אפס faileth. H3701 כסף׃ the money

  16 H559 ויאמר said, H3130 יוסף And Joseph H3051 הבו Give H4735 מקניכם your cattle; H5414 ואתנה and I will give H4735 לכם במקניכם you for your cattle, H518 אם if H656 אפס fail. H3701 כסף׃ money

  17 H935 ויביאו And they brought H853 את   H4735 מקניהם their cattle H413 אל unto H3130 יוסף Joseph: H5414 ויתן gave H3130 להם יוסף and Joseph H3899 לחם them bread H5483 בסוסים for horses, H4735 ובמקנה and for the flocks, H6629 הצאן and for the flocks, H4735 ובמקנה and for the cattle H1241 הבקר of the herds, H2543 ובחמרים and for the asses: H5095 וינהלם and he fed H3899 בלחם them with bread H3605 בכל for all H4735 מקנהם their cattle H8141 בשׁנה year. H1931 ההוא׃ for that

  18 H8552 ותתם was ended, H8141 השׁנה year H1931 ההוא When that H935 ויבאו they came H413 אליו unto H8141 בשׁנה year, H8145 השׁנית him the second H559 ויאמרו and said H3808 לו לא unto him, We will not H3582 נכחד hide H113 מאדני my lord, H3588 כי how that H518 אם how that H8552 תם is spent; H3701 הכסף our money H4735 ומקנה our herds H929 הבהמה of cattle; H413 אל also hath H113 אדני my lord H3808 לא there is not H7604 נשׁאר aught left H6440 לפני in the sight H113 אדני of my lord, H1115 בלתי but H518 אם but H1472 גויתנו our bodies, H127 ואדמתנו׃ and our lands:

  19 H4100 למה Wherefore H4191 נמות shall we die H5869 לעיניך before thine eyes, H1571 גם both H587 אנחנו we H1571 גם and H127 אדמתנו our land? H7069 קנה buy H853 אתנו   H853 ואת   H127 אדמתנו us and our land H3899 בלחם for bread, H1961 ונהיה will be H587 אנחנו and we H127 ואדמתנו and our land H5650 עבדים servants H6547 לפרעה unto Pharaoh: H5414 ותן and give H2233 זרע seed, H2421 ונחיה that we may live, H3808 ולא and not H4191 נמות die, H127 והאדמה that the land H3808 לא be not desolate. H3456 תשׁם׃ be not desolate.

  20 H7069 ויקן bought H3130 יוסף And Joseph H853 את   H3605 כל all H127 אדמת the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H6547 לפרעה for Pharaoh; H3588 כי for H4376 מכרו sold H4713 מצרים   H582 אישׁ   H7704 שׂדהו his field, H3588 כי because H2388 חזק prevailed H5921 עלהם over H7458 הרעב the famine H1961 ותהי became H776 הארץ them: so the land H6547 לפרעה׃ Pharaoh's.

  21 H853 ואת   H5971 העם And as for the people, H5674 העביר he removed H853 אתו   H5892 לערים them to cities H7097 מקצה from end H1366 גבול of the borders H4714 מצרים of Egypt H5704 ועד even to H7097 קצהו׃ the end

  22 H7535 רק Only H127 אדמת the land H3548 הכהנים of the priests H3808 לא he not; H7069 קנה bought H3588 כי for H2706 חק had a portion H3548 לכהנים the priests H853 מאת   H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H398 ואכלו and did eat H853 את   H2706 חקם their portion H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן gave H6547 להם פרעה Pharaoh H5921 על them: wherefore H3651 כן them: wherefore H3808 לא not H4376 מכרו they sold H853 את   H127 אדמתם׃ their lands.

  23 H559 ויאמר said H3130 יוסף Then Joseph H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H2005 הן Behold, H7069 קניתי I have bought H853 אתכם   H3117 היום you this day H853 ואת   H127 אדמתכם and your land H6547 לפרעה for Pharaoh: H1887 הא lo, H2233 לכם זרע seed H2232 וזרעתם for you, and ye shall sow H853 את   H127 האדמה׃ the land.

  24 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass H8393 בתבואת in the increase, H5414 ונתתם that ye shall give H2549 חמישׁית the fifth H6547 לפרעה unto Pharaoh, H702 וארבע and four H3027 הידת parts H1961 יהיה shall be H2233 לכם לזרע your own, for seed H7704 השׂדה of the field, H400 ולאכלכם and for your food, H834 ולאשׁר and for them H1004 בבתיכם of your households, H398 ולאכל and for food H2945 לטפכם׃ for your little ones.

  25 H559 ויאמרו And they said, H2421 החיתנו Thou hast saved our lives: H4672 נמצא let us find H2580 חן grace H5869 בעיני in the sight H113 אדני of my lord, H1961 והיינו and we will be H5650 עבדים servants. H6547 לפרעה׃ Pharaoh's

  35 H3588 וכי And if H4134 ימוך be waxen poor, H251 אחיך thy brother H4131 ומטה and fallen in decay H3027 ידו and fallen in decay H5973 עמך with H2388 והחזקת thee; then thou shalt relieve H1616 בו גר him: a stranger, H8453 ותושׁב or a sojourner; H2421 וחי that he may live H5973 עמך׃ with

  36 H408 אל thou no H3947 תקח Take H853 מאתו   H5392 נשׁך usury H8635 ותרבית   H3372 ויראת   H430 מאלהיך   H2421 וחי may live H251 אחיך that thy brother H5973 עמך׃ with

  37 H853 את   H3701 כספך him thy money H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5414 תתן give H5392 לו בנשׁך upon usury, H4768 ובמרבית for increase. H3808 לא nor H5414 תתן lend H400 אכלך׃ him thy victuals

  38 H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוצאתי   H853 אתכם   H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H5414 לתת to give H853 לכם את   H776 ארץ you the land H3667 כנען of Canaan, H1961 להיות to be H430 לכם לאלהים׃ your God.

  39 H3588 וכי And if H4134 ימוך thee be waxen poor, H251 אחיך thy brother H5973 עמך by H4376 ונמכר and be sold H3808 לך לא unto thee; thou shalt not H5647 תעבד compel him to serve H5656 בו עבדת as a bondservant: H5650 עבד׃ as a bondservant:

  7 H3588 כי If H1961 יהיה there be H34 בך אביון among you a poor man H259 מאחד of one H251 אחיך of thy brethren H259 באחד within any H8179 שׁעריך of thy gates H776 בארצך in thy land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H3808 לך לא thee, thou shalt not H553 תאמץ harden H853 את   H3824 לבבך thine heart, H3808 ולא nor H7092 תקפץ shut H853 את   H3027 ידך thine hand H251 מאחיך brother: H34 האביון׃ from thy poor

  8 H6906 היקבע rob H120 אדם Will a man H430 אלהים God? H3588 כי Yet H859 אתם ye H6906 קבעים have robbed H853 אתי   H559 ואמרתם me. But ye say, H4100 במה Wherein H6906 קבענוך have we robbed H4643 המעשׂר thee? In tithes H8641 והתרומה׃ and offerings.

  9 H3994 במארה with a curse: H859 אתם Ye H779 נארים cursed H853 ואתי   H859 אתם for ye H6906 קבעים have robbed H1471 הגוי nation. H3605 כלו׃ me, this whole

  10 H935 הביאו Bring H853 את   H3605 כל ye all H4643 המעשׂר the tithes H413 אל into H1004 בית the storehouse, H214 האוצר the storehouse, H1961 ויהי that there may be H2964 טרף meat H1004 בביתי in mine house, H974 ובחנוני and prove H4994 נא me now H2063 בזאת herewith, H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H518 אם if H3808 לא I will not H6605 אפתח open H853 לכם את   H699 ארבות you the windows H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H7324 והריקתי and pour you out H1293 לכם ברכה a blessing, H5704 עד that H1097 בלי not H1767 די׃ enough

  11 H1605 וגערתי And I will rebuke H398 לכם באכל the devourer H3808 ולא for your sakes, and he shall not H7843 ישׁחת destroy H853 לכם את   H6529 פרי the fruits H127 האדמה of your ground; H3808 ולא neither H7921 תשׁכל cast her fruit before the time H1612 לכם הגפן shall your vine H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

  47 H8478 תחת   H834 אשׁר   H3808 לא not H5647 עבדת thou servedst H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H8057 בשׂמחה with joyfulness, H2898 ובטוב and with gladness H3824 לבב of heart, H7230 מרב for the abundance H3605 כל׃ of all

  48 H5647 ועבדת Therefore shalt thou serve H853 את   H341 איביך thine enemies H834 אשׁר which H7971 ישׁלחנו shall send H3068 יהוה the LORD H7458 בך ברעב against thee, in hunger, H6772 ובצמא and in thirst, H5903 ובעירם and in nakedness, H2640 ובחסר and in want H3605 כל of all H5414 ונתן and he shall put H5923 על a yoke H1270 ברזל of iron H5921 על upon H6677 צוארך thy neck, H5704 עד until H8045 השׁמידו he have destroyed H853 אתך׃

  3 H518 אם If H1610 בגפו by himself, H935 יבא he came in H1610 בגפו by himself: H3318 יצא he shall go out H518 אם if H1167 בעל were married, H802 אשׁה were married, H1931 הוא he H3318 ויצאה shall go out H802 אשׁתו then his wife H5973 עמו׃ with

  4 H518 אם If H113 אדניו his master H5414 יתן have given H802 לו אשׁה him a wife, H3205 וילדה and she have born H1121 לו בנים him sons H176 או or H1323 בנות daughters; H802 האשׁה the wife H3206 וילדיה and her children H1961 תהיה shall be H113 לאדניה her master's, H1931 והוא and he H3318 יצא shall go out H1610 בגפו׃ by himself.

  5 H518 ואם And if H559 אמר shall plainly say, H559 יאמר shall plainly say, H5650 העבד the servant H157 אהבתי I love H853 את   H113 אדני my master, H853 את   H802 אשׁתי my wife, H853 ואת   H1121 בני and my children; H3808 לא I will not H3318 אצא go out H2670 חפשׁי׃ free:

  6 H5066 והגישׁו shall bring H113 אדניו Then his master H413 אל him unto H430 האלהים the judges; H5066 והגישׁו he shall also bring H413 אל him to H1817 הדלת the door, H176 או or H413 אל unto H4201 המזוזה the door post; H7527 ורצע   H113 אדניו and his master H853 את   H241 אזנו   H4836 במרצע with an awl; H5647 ועבדו and he shall serve H5769 לעלם׃ him forever.

  7 H3588 וכי And if H4376 ימכר sell H376 אישׁ a man H853 את   H1323 בתו his daughter H519 לאמה to be a maidservant, H3808 לא she shall not H3318 תצא go out H3318 כצאת do. H5650 העבדים׃ as the menservants

  8 H518 אם If H7451 רעה she please not H5869 בעיני she please not H113 אדניה her master, H834 אשׁר who H3808 לא he shall have no H3259 יעדה   H6299 והפדה her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: H5971 לעם nation H5237 נכרי her unto a strange H3808 לא   H4910 ימשׁל power, H4376 למכרה to sell H898 בבגדו׃ seeing he hath dealt deceitfully

  9 H518 ואם And if H1121 לבנו her unto his son, H3259 ייעדנה he have betrothed H4941 כמשׁפט with her after the manner H1323 הבנות of daughters. H6213 יעשׂה׃ he shall deal

  10 H518 אם If H312 אחרת him another H3947 יקח he take H7607 לו שׁארה her food, H3682 כסותה her raiment, H5772 וענתה and her duty of marriage, H3808 לא shall he not H1639 יגרע׃ diminish.

  11 H518 ואם And if H7969 שׁלשׁ three H428 אלה these H3808 לא not H6213 יעשׂה he do H3318 לה ויצאה unto her, then shall she go out H2600 חנם free H369 אין without H3701 כסף׃ money.

  39 H3588 וכי And if H4134 ימוך thee be waxen poor, H251 אחיך thy brother H5973 עמך by H4376 ונמכר and be sold H3808 לך לא unto thee; thou shalt not H5647 תעבד compel him to serve H5656 בו עבדת as a bondservant: H5650 עבד׃ as a bondservant:

  40 H7916 כשׂכיר as a hired servant, H8453 כתושׁב as a sojourner, H1961 יהיה he shall be H5973 עמך with H5704 עד thee unto H8141 שׁנת the year H3104 היבל of jubilee: H5647 יעבד thee, shall serve H5973 עמך׃ thee, shall serve

  41 H3318 ויצא And shall he depart H5973 מעמך from H1931 הוא thee, he H1121 ובניו and his children H5973 עמו with H7725 ושׁב him, and shall return H413 אל unto H4940 משׁפחתו his own family, H413 ואל and unto H272 אחזת the possession H1 אבתיו of his fathers H7725 ישׁוב׃ shall he return.

  42 H3588 כי For H5650 עבדי my servants, H1992 הם they H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוצאתי I brought forth H853 אתם   H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H3808 לא they shall not H4376 ימכרו be sold H4466 ממכרת as bondmen. H5650 עבד׃ as bondmen.

  43 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H7287 תרדה rule H6531 בו בפרך over him with rigor; H3372 ויראת   H430 מאלהיך׃  

  1 H802 ואשׁה woman H259 אחת a certain H802 מנשׁי of the wives H1121 בני of the sons H5030 הנביאים of the prophets H6817 צעקה Now there cried H413 אל unto H477 אלישׁע Elisha, H559 לאמר saying, H5650 עבדך Thy servant H376 אישׁי my husband H4191 מת is dead; H859 ואתה and thou H3045 ידעת knowest H3588 כי that H5650 עבדך thy servant H1961 היה did H3372 ירא fear H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD: H5383 והנשׁה and the creditor H935 בא is come H3947 לקחת to take H853 את   H8147 שׁני unto him my two H3206 ילדי sons H5650 לו לעבדים׃ to be bondmen.

  7 H3808 הלוא not H6536 פרס to deal H7457 לרעב to the hungry, H3899 לחמך thy bread H6041 ועניים the poor H4788 מרודים that are cast out H935 תביא and that thou bring H1004 בית to thy house? H3588 כי when H7200 תראה thou seest H6174 ערם the naked, H3680 וכסיתו that thou cover H1320 ומבשׂרך from thine own flesh? H3808 לא him; and that thou hide not thyself H5956 תתעלם׃ him; and that thou hide not thyself

  8 H3381 וירדו shall come down H3605 כל And all H5650 עבדיך thy servants H428 אלה these H413 אלי unto H7812 והשׁתחוו me, and bow down themselves H559 לי לאמר unto me, saying, H3318 צא I will go out.   15 H2734 ויחר was very wroth, H4872 למשׁה And Moses H3966 מאד was very wroth, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H408 אל not H6437 תפן   H413 אל   H4503 מנחתם thou their offering: H3808 לא I have not H2543 חמור ass H259 אחד one H1992 מהם   H5375 נשׂאתי taken H3808 ולא them, neither H7489 הרעתי have I hurt H853 את   H259 אחד one H1992 מהם׃  

  8 H7489 וירע And it grieved H3966 לי מאד me sore: H7993 ואשׁליכה therefore I cast forth H853 את   H3605 כל all H3627 כלי stuff H1004 בית the household H2900 טוביה of Tobiah H2351 החוץ out H4480 מן of H3957 הלשׁכה׃ the chamber.

  25 H7378 ואריב And I contended H5973 עמם with H7043 ואקללם them, and cursed H5221 ואכה them, and smote H1992 מהם   H376 אנשׁים certain H4803 ואמרטם them, and plucked off their hair, H7650 ואשׁביעם and made them swear H430 באלהים by God, H518 אם Ye shall not H5414 תתנו give H1323 בנתיכם your daughters H1121 לבניהם unto their sons, H518 ואם nor H5375 תשׂאו take H1323 מבנתיהם their daughters H1121 לבניכם׃ unto your sons,

  25 H518 אם If H3701 כסף money H3867 תלוה thou lend H853 את   H5971 עמי to my people H853 את   H6041 העני poor H5973 עמך by H3808 לא thee, thou shalt not H1961 תהיה be H5383 לו כנשׁה to him as a usurer, H3808 לא neither H7760 תשׂימון shalt thou lay H5921 עליו upon H5392 נשׁך׃ him usury.

  15 H3808 לא no H6213 תעשׂו Ye shall do H5766 עול unrighteousness H4941 במשׁפט in judgment: H3808 לא thou shalt not H5375 תשׂא respect H6440 פני the person H1800 דל of the poor, H3808 ולא nor H1921 תהדר honor H6440 פני the person H1419 גדול of the mighty: H6664 בצדק in righteousness H8199 תשׁפט shalt thou judge H5997 עמיתך׃ thy neighbor.

  36 H408 אל thou no H3947 תקח Take H853 מאתו   H5392 נשׁך usury H8635 ותרבית   H3372 ויראת   H430 מאלהיך   H2421 וחי may live H251 אחיך that thy brother H5973 עמך׃ with

  2 H2088 וזה And this H1697 דבר the manner H8059 השׁמטה of the release: H8058 שׁמוט shall release H3605 כל Every H1167 בעל creditor H4874 משׁה   H3027 ידו   H834 אשׁר that H5383 ישׁה lendeth H7453 ברעהו unto his neighbor H3808 לא he shall not H5065 יגשׂ exact H853 את   H7453 רעהו of his neighbor, H853 ואת   H251 אחיו or of his brother; H3588 כי because H7121 קרא it is called H8059 שׁמטה release.
