6 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H6213 [H8799] did H3068 as the LORD H6680 [H8765] commanded H6213 [H8804] them, so did they.

7 H4872 And Moses H8084 was eighty H8141 years H1121 old H175 , and Aaron H8084 eighty H7969 and three H8141 years H1121 old H1696 [H8763] , when they spoke H6547 to Pharaoh.

8 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] spoke H4872 to Moses H175 and to Aaron H559 [H8800] , saying,

9 H6547 When Pharaoh H1696 [H8762] shall speak H559 [H8800] to you, saying H5414 [H8798] , Show H4159 a miracle H559 [H8804] for you: then thou shalt say H175 to Aaron H3947 [H8798] , Take H4294 thy rod H7993 [H8685] , and cast H6440 it before H6547 Pharaoh H8577 , and it shall become a serpent.

10 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H935 [H8799] went in H6547 to Pharaoh H6213 [H8799] , and they did H3068 so as the LORD H6680 [H8765] had commanded H175 : and Aaron H7993 [H8686] cast down H4294 his rod H6440 before H6547 Pharaoh H6440 , and before H5650 his servants H8577 , and it became a serpent.

11 H6547 Then Pharaoh H7121 [H8799] also called H2450 the wise men H3784 [H8764] and the sorcerers H2748 : now the magicians H4714 of Egypt H6213 [H8799] , they also did H3651 in like manner H3858 with their enchantments.

12 H7993 [H8686] For they cast down H376 every man H4294 his rod H8577 , and they became serpents H175 : but Aaron's H4294 rod H1104 [H8799] swallowed up H4294 their rods.

13 H2388 [H8799] And he hardened H6547 Pharaoh's H3820 heart H8085 [H8804] , that he hearkened H3068 not to them; as the LORD H1696 [H8765] had said.

14 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H6547 , Pharaoh's H3820 heart H3515 is hardened H3985 [H8765] , he refuseth H5971 to let the people H7971 [H8763] go.

15 H3212 [H8798] Go H6547 to Pharaoh H1242 in the morning H3318 [H8802] ; lo, he goeth out H4325 to the water H5324 [H8738] ; and thou shalt stand H2975 by the river's H8193 brink H7125 [H8800] to meet him H4294 ; and the rod H2015 [H8738] which was turned H5175 to a serpent H3947 [H8799] shalt thou take H3027 in thy hand.

17 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H3068 the LORD H3045 [H8799] , In this thou shalt know H3068 that I am the LORD H5221 [H8688] : behold, I will smite H4294 with the rod H3027 that is in my hand H4325 upon the waters H2975 which are in the river H2015 [H8738] , and they shall be turned H1818 to blood.

18 H1710 And the fish H2975 that is in the river H4191 [H8799] shall die H2975 , and the river H887 [H8804] shall stink H4714 ; and the Egyptians H3811 [H8738] shall lothe H8354 [H8800] to drink H4325 of the water H2975 of the river.

19 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] spoke H4872 to Moses H559 [H8798] , Say H175 to Aaron H3947 [H8798] , Take H4294 thy rod H5186 [H8798] , and stretch out H3027 thy hand H4325 upon the waters H4714 of Egypt H5104 , upon their streams H2975 , upon their rivers H98 , and upon their ponds H4723 , and upon all their pools H4325 of water H1818 , that they may become blood H1818 ; and that there may be blood H776 throughout all the land H4714 of Egypt H6086 , both in vessels of wood H68 , and in vessels of stone.

23 H6547 And Pharaoh H6437 [H8799] turned H935 [H8799] and went H1004 into his house H7896 [H8804] , neither did he set H3820 his heart H2063 to this also.

24 H4714 And all the Egyptians H2658 [H8799] dug H5439 around H2975 the river H4325 for water H8354 [H8800] to drink H3201 [H8804] ; for they could H8354 [H8800] not drink H4325 of the water H2975 of the river.

2 H3986 And if thou shalt refuse H7971 [H8763] to let them go H5062 [H8802] , behold, I will smite H1366 all thy borders H6854 with frogs:

3 H2975 And the river H8317 0 shall bring forth H6854 frogs H8317 [H8804] abundantly H5927 [H8804] , which shall go up H935 [H8804] and come H1004 into thy house H2315 H4904 , and into thy bedchamber H4296 , and upon thy bed H1004 , and into the house H5650 of thy servants H5971 , and upon thy people H8574 , and into thy ovens H4863 , and into thy kneadingtroughs:

4 H6854 And the frogs H5927 [H8799] shall come up H5971 both on thee, and upon thy people H5650 , and upon all thy servants.

6 H175 And Aaron H5186 [H8799] stretched H3027 his hand H4325 over the waters H4714 of Egypt H6854 ; and the frogs H5927 [H8799] came up H3680 [H8762] , and covered H776 the land H4714 of Egypt.

7 H2748 And the magicians H6213 [H8799] did H3909 so with their enchantments H5927 [H8686] , and brought up H6854 frogs H776 upon the land H4714 of Egypt.

8 H6547 Then Pharaoh H7121 [H8799] called H4872 for Moses H175 and Aaron H559 [H8799] , and said H6279 [H8685] , Entreat H3068 the LORD H5493 [H8686] , that he may take away H6854 the frogs H5971 from me, and from my people H5971 ; and I will let the people H7971 [H8762] go H2076 [H8799] , that they may sacrifice H3068 to the LORD.

10 H559 [H8799] And he said H4279 , To morrow H559 [H8799] . And he said H1697 , Be it according to thy word H3045 [H8799] : that thou mayest know H3068 that there is none like the LORD H430 our God.

11 H6854 And the frogs H5493 [H8804] shall depart H1004 from thee, and from thy houses H5650 , and from thy servants H5971 , and from thy people H7604 [H8735] ; they shall remain H2975 in the river only.

12 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H3318 [H8799] went out H6547 from Pharaoh H4872 : and Moses H6817 [H8799] cried H3068 to the LORD H1697 because of H6854 the frogs H7760 [H8804] which he had brought H6547 against Pharaoh.

13 H3068 And the LORD H6213 [H8799] did H1697 according to the word H4872 of Moses H6854 ; and the frogs H4191 [H8799] died H1004 out of the houses H2691 , out of the villages H7704 , and out of the fields.

14 H6651 [H8799] And they gathered them together H2563 in heaps H776 : and the land H887 [H8799] stank.

17 H6213 [H8799] And they did H175 so; for Aaron H5186 [H8799] stretched out H3027 his hand H4294 with his rod H5221 [H8686] , and smote H6083 the dust H776 of the earth H3654 , and it became lice H120 in man H929 , and in beast H6083 ; all the dust H776 of the land H3654 became lice H776 throughout all the land H4714 of Egypt.

18 H2748 And the magicians H6213 [H8799] did H3909 so with their enchantments H3318 [H8687] to bring forth H3654 lice H3201 [H8804] , but they could H3654 not: so there were lice H120 upon man H929 , and upon beast.

19 H2748 Then the magicians H559 [H8799] said H6547 to Pharaoh H676 , This is the finger H430 of God H6547 : and Pharaoh's H3820 heart H2388 [H8799] was hardened H8085 [H8804] , and he hearkened H3068 not to them; as the LORD H1696 [H8765] had said.

20 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H7925 [H8685] , Rise early H1242 in the morning H3320 [H8690] , and stand H6440 before H6547 Pharaoh H3318 [H8802] ; lo, he cometh forth H4325 to the water H559 [H8804] ; and say H559 [H8804] to him, Thus saith H3068 the LORD H5971 , Let my people H7971 [H8761] go H5647 [H8799] , that they may serve me.

21 H5971 Else, if thou wilt not let my people H7971 [H8764] go H7971 [H8688] , behold, I will send H6157 swarms H5650 of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants H5971 , and upon thy people H1004 , and into thy houses H1004 : and the houses H4714 of the Egyptians H4390 [H8804] shall be full H6157 of swarms H127 of flies, and also the ground on which they are.

22 H6395 [H8689] And I will set apart H3117 in that day H776 the land H1657 of Goshen H5971 , in which my people H5975 [H8802] dwell H1115 , that no H6157 swarms H1961 [H8800] of flies shall be H4616 there; to the end H3045 [H8799] thou mayest know H3068 that I am the LORD H7130 in the midst H776 of the earth.

23 H7760 [H8804] And I will put H6304 a division H5971 between my people H5971 and thy people H4279 : to morrow H226 shall this sign be.

24 H3068 And the LORD H6213 [H8799] did H935 [H8799] so; and there came H3515 a grievous H6157 swarm H1004 of flies into the house H6547 of Pharaoh H5650 , and into his servants H1004 ' houses H776 , and into all the land H4714 of Egypt H776 : the land H7843 [H8735] was corrupted H6440 by reason H6157 of the swarm of flies.

25 H6547 And Pharaoh H7121 [H8799] called H413 for H4872 Moses H175 and for Aaron H559 [H8799] , and said H3212 [H8798] , Go H2076 [H8798] ye, sacrifice H430 to your God H776 in the land.

26 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H3559 [H8737] , It is not proper H6213 [H8800] so to do H2005 ; for H2076 [H8799] we shall sacrifice H8441 the abomination H4714 of the Egyptians H3068 to the LORD H430 our God H2076 [H8799] : lo, shall we sacrifice H8441 the abomination H4714 of the Egyptians H5869 before their eyes H5619 [H8799] , and will they not stone us?

27 H3212 [H8799] We will go H7969 three H3117 days H1870 ' journey H4057 into the wilderness H2076 [H8804] , and sacrifice H3068 to the LORD H430 our God H559 [H8799] , as he shall command us.

28 H6547 And Pharaoh H559 [H8799] said H7971 [H8762] , I will let you go H2076 [H8804] , that ye may sacrifice H3068 to the LORD H430 your God H4057 in the wilderness H3212 [H8800] ; only ye shall not go H7368 [H8687] very H7368 [H8686] far away H6279 [H8685] : entreat H1157 for me.

29 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H3318 [H8802] , Behold, I go out H6279 [H8689] from thee, and I will entreat H3068 the LORD H6157 that the swarms H5493 [H8804] of flies may depart H6547 from Pharaoh H5650 , from his servants H5971 , and from his people H4279 , to morrow H7535 : but H6547 let not Pharaoh H2048 [H8763] deal deceitfully H3254 [H8686] any more H1115 in not H5971 letting the people H7971 [H8763] go H2076 [H8800] to sacrifice H3068 to the LORD.

30 H4872 And Moses H3318 [H8799] went out H6547 from Pharaoh H6279 [H8799] , and entreated H3068 the LORD.

31 H3068 And the LORD H6213 [H8799] did H1697 according to the word H4872 of Moses H5493 [H8686] ; and he removed H6157 the swarms H6547 of flies from Pharaoh H5650 , from his servants H5971 , and from his people H7604 [H8738] ; there remained H259 not one.

32 H6547 And Pharaoh H3513 [H8686] hardened H3820 his heart H6471 at this time H5971 also, neither would he let the people H7971 [H8765] go.

2 H3986 For if thou shalt refuse H7971 [H8763] to let them go H2388 [H8688] , and wilt hold them still,

3 H3027 Behold, the hand H3068 of the LORD H1961 [H8802] is H4735 upon thy cattle H7704 which are in the field H5483 , upon the horses H2543 , upon the donkeys H1581 , upon the camels H1241 , upon the oxen H6629 , and upon the sheep H3966 : there shall be a very H3515 grievous H1698 plague.

4 H3068 And the LORD H6395 [H8689] shall make a difference H4735 between the cattle H3478 of Israel H4735 and the cattle H4714 of Egypt H1697 : and there shall nothing H4191 [H8799] die H1121 of all that belong to the children H3478 of Israel.

5 H3068 And the LORD H7760 [H8799] appointed H4150 a set time H559 [H8800] , saying H4279 , To morrow H3068 the LORD H6213 [H8799] shall do H1697 this thing H776 in the land.

6 H3068 And the LORD H6213 [H8799] did H1697 that thing H4283 on the next day H4735 , and all the cattle H4714 of Egypt H4191 [H8799] died H4735 : but of the cattle H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H4191 [H8804] died H259 not one.

21 H7760 H3820 [H8804] And he that regarded H1697 not the word H3068 of the LORD H5800 [H8799] left H5650 his servants H4735 and his cattle H7704 in the field.

22 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H5186 [H8798] , Stretch forth H3027 thy hand H8064 toward heaven H1259 , that there may be hail H776 in all the land H4714 of Egypt H120 , upon man H929 , and upon beast H6212 , and upon every herb H7704 of the field H776 , throughout the land H4714 of Egypt.

23 H4872 And Moses H5186 [H8799] stretched forth H4294 his rod H8064 toward heaven H3068 : and the LORD H5414 [H8804] sent H6963 thunder H1259 and hail H784 , and the fire H1980 [H8799] ran along H776 upon the ground H3068 ; and the LORD H4305 [H8686] rained H1259 hail H776 upon the land H4714 of Egypt.

24 H1259 So there was hail H784 H3947 [H8693] , and fire H8432 mingled H1259 with the hail H3966 , very H3515 grievous H3808 , such as there had been none H776 like it in all the land H4714 of Egypt H1471 since it became a nation.

25 H1259 And the hail H5221 [H8686] smote H776 throughout all the land H4714 of Egypt H7704 all that was in the field H120 , both man H929 and beast H1259 ; and the hail H5221 [H8689] smote H6212 every herb H7704 of the field H7665 [H8765] , and broke H6086 every tree H7704 of the field.

26 H776 Only in the land H1657 of Goshen H1121 , where the children H3478 of Israel H1259 were, there was no hail.

27 H6547 And Pharaoh H7971 [H8799] sent H7121 [H8799] , and called H4872 for Moses H175 and Aaron H559 [H8799] , and said H2398 [H8804] to them, I have sinned H6471 this time H3068 : the LORD H6662 is righteous H5971 , and I and my people H7563 are wicked.

28 H6279 [H8685] Entreat H3068 the LORD H7227 (for it is enough H430 ) that there be no more mighty H6963 thunderings H1259 and hail H7971 [H8762] ; and I will let you go H5975 [H8800] , and ye shall stay H3254 [H8686] no longer.

29 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H3318 [H8800] to him, As soon as I am gone out H5892 of the city H6566 [H8799] , I will spread abroad H3709 my hands H3068 to the LORD H6963 ; and the thunder H2308 [H8799] shall cease H1259 , neither shall there be any more hail H3045 [H8799] ; that thou mayest know H776 how that the earth H3068 is the LORD'S.

30 H5650 But as for thee and thy servants H3045 [H8804] , I know H3372 H6440 [H8799] that ye will not yet fear H3068 the LORD H430 God.

31 H6594 And the flax H8184 and the barley H5221 [H8795] were smitten H8184 : for the barley H24 was in the ear H6594 , and the flax H1392 was in bud.

32 H2406 But the wheat H3698 and the rye H5221 [H8795] were not smitten H2007 : for they H648 were not grown up.

33 H4872 And Moses H3318 [H8799] went out H5892 of the city H6547 from Pharaoh H6566 [H8799] , and spread abroad H3709 his hands H3068 to the LORD H6963 : and the thunders H1259 and hail H2308 [H8799] ceased H4306 , and the rain H5413 [H8738] was not poured H776 upon the earth.

1 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H935 [H8798] , Go H6547 in to Pharaoh H3513 [H8689] : for I have hardened H3820 his heart H3820 , and the heart H5650 of his servants H7896 [H8800] , that I might show H226 these my signs H7130 before him:

2 H5608 [H8762] And that thou mayest tell H241 in the ears H1121 of thy son H1121 , and of thy son's H1121 son H5953 [H8694] , what things I have wrought H4714 in Egypt H226 , and my signs H7760 [H8804] which I have done H3045 [H8804] among them; that ye may know H3068 how that I am the LORD.

3 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H935 [H8799] came in H6547 to Pharaoh H559 [H8799] , and said H559 [H8804] to him, Thus saith H3068 the LORD H430 God H5680 of the Hebrews H4970 , How long H3985 [H8765] wilt thou refuse H6031 [H8736] to humble H6440 thyself before H5971 me? let my people H7971 [H8761] go H5647 [H8799] , that they may serve me.

4 H3588 Else H3986 , if thou shalt refuse H5971 to let my people H7971 [H8763] go H4279 , behold, to morrow H935 [H8688] will I bring H697 the locusts H1366 into thy land:

5 H3680 [H8765] And they shall cover H5869 the face H776 of the earth H3201 [H8799] , that one cannot be able H7200 [H8800] to see H776 the earth H398 [H8804] : and they shall eat H3499 the rest H6413 of that which hath escaped H7604 [H8737] , which remaineth H1259 to you from the hail H398 [H8804] , and shall eat H6086 every tree H6779 [H8802] which groweth H7704 for you out of the field:

6 H4390 [H8804] And they shall fill H1004 thy houses H1004 , and the houses H5650 of all thy servants H1004 , and the houses H4714 of all the Egyptians H1 ; which neither thy fathers H1 , nor thy fathers H1 ' fathers H7200 [H8804] have seen H3117 , since the day H127 that they were upon the earth H3117 to this day H6437 [H8799] . And he turned H3318 [H8799] himself, and went out H6547 from Pharaoh.

7 H6547 And Pharaoh's H5650 servants H559 [H8799] said H4170 to him, How long shall this man be a snare H582 to us? let the men H7971 [H8761] go H5647 [H8799] , that they may serve H3068 the LORD H430 their God H3045 [H8799] : knowest H2962 thou not yet H4714 that Egypt H6 [H8804] is destroyed?

8 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H7725 [H8714] were brought again H6547 to Pharaoh H559 [H8799] : and he said H3212 [H8798] to them, Go H5647 [H8798] , serve H3068 the LORD H430 your God H1980 [H8802] : but who are they that shall go?

9 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H3212 [H8799] , We will go H5288 with our young H2205 and with our old H1121 , with our sons H1323 and with our daughters H6629 , with our flocks H1241 and with our herds H3212 [H8799] will we go H2282 ; for we must hold a feast H3068 to the LORD.

10 H559 [H8799] And he said H3068 to them, Let the LORD H7971 [H8762] be so with you, as I will let you go H2945 , and your little ones H7200 [H8798] : look H7451 to it; for evil H6440 is before you.

11 H3212 [H8798] Not so: go H1397 now ye that are men H5647 [H8798] , and serve H3068 the LORD H1245 [H8764] ; for that ye desired H1644 [H8762] . And they were driven out H6547 from Pharaoh's H6440 presence.

12 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H5186 [H8798] , Stretch out H3027 thy hand H776 over the land H4714 of Egypt H697 for the locusts H5927 [H8799] , that they may come H776 upon the land H4714 of Egypt H398 [H8799] , and eat H6212 every herb H776 of the land H1259 , even all that the hail H7604 [H8689] hath left.

13 H4872 And Moses H5186 [H8799] stretched forth H4294 his rod H776 over the land H4714 of Egypt H3068 , and the LORD H5090 [H8765] brought H6921 an east H7307 wind H776 upon the land H3117 all that day H3915 , and all that night H1242 ; and when it was morning H6921 , the east H7307 wind H5375 [H8804] brought H697 the locusts.

14 H697 And the locusts H5927 [H8799] went up H776 over all the land H4714 of Egypt H5117 [H8799] , and rested H1366 in all the land H4714 of Egypt H3966 : very H3515 grievous H6440 were they; before H3651 them there were no such H697 locusts H310 as they, neither after them shall be such.

15 H3680 [H8762] For they covered H5869 the face H776 of the whole earth H776 , so that the land H2821 [H8799] was darkened H398 [H8799] ; and they ate H6212 every herb H776 of the land H6529 , and all the fruit H6086 of the trees H1259 which the hail H3498 [H8689] had left H3498 [H8738] : and there remained H3418 not any green thing H6086 on the trees H6212 , or in the herbs H7704 of the field H776 , through all the land H4714 of Egypt.

16 H6547 Then Pharaoh H7121 [H8800] called H4872 for Moses H175 and Aaron H4116 [H8762] in haste H559 [H8799] ; and he said H2398 [H8804] , I have sinned H3068 against the LORD H430 your God, and against you.

17 H5375 [H8798] Now therefore forgive H2403 , I pray thee, my sin H6471 only this once H6279 [H8685] , and entreat H3068 the LORD H430 your God H5493 [H8686] , that he may take away H4194 from me this death only.

18 H3318 [H8799] And he went out H6547 from Pharaoh H6279 [H8799] , and entreated H3068 the LORD.

19 H3068 And the LORD H2015 [H8799] turned H3966 a mighty H2389 strong H3220 west H7307 wind H5375 [H8799] , which took away H697 the locusts H8628 [H8799] , and cast H5488 them into the Red H3220 sea H7604 [H8738] ; there remained H259 not one H697 locust H1366 in all the land H4714 of Egypt.

20 H3068 But the LORD H2388 [H8762] hardened H6547 Pharaoh's H3820 heart H1121 , so that he would not let the children H3478 of Israel H7971 [H8765] go.

21 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H5186 [H8798] , Stretch out H3027 thy hand H8064 toward heaven H2822 , that there may be darkness H776 over the land H4714 of Egypt H2822 , even darkness H4959 [H8686] which may be felt.

22 H4872 And Moses H5186 [H8799] stretched forth H3027 his hand H8064 toward heaven H653 ; and there was a thick H2822 darkness H776 in all the land H4714 of Egypt H7969 three H3117 days:

23 H7200 [H8804] They saw H376 not one H251 another H6965 [H8804] , neither rose H376 any H7969 from his place for three H3117 days H1121 : but all the children H3478 of Israel H216 had light H4186 in their dwellings.

24 H6547 And Pharaoh H7121 [H8799] called H4872 to Moses H559 [H8799] , and said H3212 [H8798] , Go H5647 [H8798] ye, serve H3068 the LORD H6629 ; only let your flocks H1241 and your herds H3322 [H8714] be left behind H2945 : let your little ones H3212 [H8799] also go with you.

25 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H5414 [H8799] , Thou must give H3027 us H2077 also sacrifices H5930 and burnt offerings H6213 [H8804] , that we may sacrifice H3068 to the LORD H430 our God.

26 H4735 Our cattle H3212 [H8799] also shall go H6541 with us; there shall not an hoof H7604 [H8735] be left behind H3947 [H8799] ; for of them must we take H5647 [H8800] to serve H3068 the LORD H430 our God H3045 [H8799] ; and we know H5647 [H8799] not with what we must serve H3068 the LORD H935 [H8800] , until we come there.

27 H3068 But the LORD H2388 [H8762] hardened H6547 Pharaoh's H3820 heart H14 [H8804] , and he would H7971 [H8763] not let them go.

28 H6547 And Pharaoh H559 [H8799] said H3212 [H8798] to him, Depart H8104 [H8734] from me, take heed H7200 [H8800] to thyself, see H6440 my face H3254 [H8686] no more H3117 ; for in that day H7200 [H8800] thou seest H6440 my face H4191 [H8799] thou shalt die.

29 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H1696 [H8765] , Thou hast spoken H3651 well H7200 [H8800] , I will see H6440 thy face H3254 [H8686] again no more.

1 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H935 [H8686] , Yet will I bring H259 one H5061 plague H6547 more upon Pharaoh H4714 , and upon Egypt H310 ; afterwards H7971 [H8762] he will let you go H7971 [H8763] from here: when he shall let you go H1644 [H8763] , he shall surely H1644 [H8762] thrust you out H3617 from here altogether.

2 H1696 [H8761] Speak H241 now in the ears H5971 of the people H376 , and let every man H7592 [H8799] ask H7453 of his neighbour H802 , and every woman H7468 of her neighbour H3627 , jewels H3701 of silver H3627 , and jewels H2091 of gold.

3 H3068 And the LORD H5414 [H8799] gave H5971 the people H2580 favour H5869 in the sight H4714 of the Egyptians H376 . Moreover the man H4872 Moses H3966 was very H1419 great H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H5869 , in the sight H6547 of Pharaoh's H5650 servants H5869 , and in the sight H5971 of the people.

4 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H559 [H8804] , Thus saith H3068 the LORD H3915 H2676 , About midnight H3318 [H8802] will I go out H8432 into the midst H4714 of Egypt:

5 H1060 And all the firstborn H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H4191 [H8804] shall die H1060 , from the firstborn H6547 of Pharaoh H3427 [H8802] that sitteth H3678 upon his throne H1060 , even to the firstborn H8198 of the maidservant H310 that is behind H7347 the mill H1060 ; and all the firstborn H929 of beasts.

6 H1961 [H8738] And there shall be H1419 a great H6818 cry H776 throughout all the land H4714 of Egypt H3808 , such as there hath been none H3808 like it, nor H3254 [H8686] shall be like it any more.

7 H1121 But against any of the children H3478 of Israel H3611 shall not a dog H2782 [H8799] move H3956 his tongue H376 , against man H929 or beast H3045 [H8799] : that ye may know H3068 how the LORD H6395 [H8686] doth put a difference H4714 between the Egyptians H3478 and Israel.

8 H5650 And all these thy servants H3381 [H8804] shall come down H7812 [H8694] to me, and bow down H559 [H8800] themselves to me, saying H3318 [H8798] , Depart thou H5971 , and all the people H7272 that follow H310 thee: and after H3318 [H8799] that I will depart H3318 [H8799] . And he went out H6547 from Pharaoh H2750 in a great H639 anger.

9 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H6547 , Pharaoh H8085 [H8799] shall not hearken H4159 to you; that my wonders H7235 [H8800] may be multiplied H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt.

10 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H6213 [H8804] did H4159 all these wonders H6440 before H6547 Pharaoh H3068 : and the LORD H2388 [H8762] hardened H6547 Pharaoh's H3820 heart H1121 , so that he would not let the children H3478 of Israel H7971 [H8765] depart from H776 his land.

1 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] spoke H4872 to Moses H175 and Aaron H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H559 [H8800] , saying,

2 H2320 This month H7218 shall be to you the beginning H2320 of months H7223 : it shall be the first H2320 month H8141 of the year to you.

3 H1696 [H8761] Speak H5712 ye to all the congregation H3478 of Israel H559 [H8800] , saying H6218 , In the tenth H2320 day of this month H3947 [H8799] they shall take H376 to them every man H7716 a lamb H1004 , according to the house H1 of their fathers H7716 , a lamb H1004 for an house:

4 H1004 And if the household H1961 [H8800] shall be H4591 [H8799] too small H7716 for the lamb H7934 , let him and his neighbour H7138 next H1004 to his house H3947 [H8804] take H4373 it according to the number H5315 of the souls H376 ; every man H6310 according H400 to his eating H3699 [H8799] shall make your count H7716 for the lamb.

5 H7716 Your lamb H8549 shall be without blemish H2145 , a male H1121 of the first H8141 year H3947 [H8799] : ye shall take H3532 it from the sheep H5795 , or from the goats:

6 H4931 And ye shall keep H702 H6240 it until the fourteenth H3117 day H2320 of the same month H3605 : and the whole H6951 assembly H5712 of the congregation H3478 of Israel H7819 [H8804] shall kill H996 it in H6153 the evening.

7 H3947 [H8804] And they shall take H1818 of the blood H5414 [H8804] , and strike H8147 it on the two H4201 side posts H4947 and on the upper door post H1004 of the houses H398 [H8799] , in which they shall eat it.

8 H398 [H8804] And they shall eat H1320 the flesh H3915 in that night H6748 , roasted H784 with fire H4682 , and unleavened bread H4844 ; and with bitter H398 [H8799] herbs they shall eat it.

9 H398 [H8799] Eat H4995 not of it raw H1310 H1311 [H8794] , nor boiled H4325 at all with water H6748 , but roasted H784 with fire H7218 ; its head H3767 with its legs H7130 , and with its inward parts.

10 H3498 [H8686] And ye shall let nothing of it remain H1242 till the morning H3498 [H8737] ; and that which remaineth H1242 of it till the morning H8313 [H8799] ye shall burn H784 with fire.

11 H3602 And thus H398 [H8799] shall ye eat H4975 it; with your loins H2296 [H8803] girded H5275 , your shoes H7272 on your feet H4731 , and your staff H3027 in your hand H398 [H8804] ; and ye shall eat H2649 it in haste H3068 : it is the LORD'S H6453 passover.

12 H5674 [H8804] For I will pass H776 through the land H4714 of Egypt H3915 this night H5221 [H8689] , and will smite H1060 all the firstborn H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H120 , both man H929 and beast H430 ; and against all the gods H4714 of Egypt H6213 [H8799] I will execute H8201 judgment H3068 : I am the LORD.

13 H1818 And the blood H226 shall be to you for a token H1004 upon the houses H7200 [H8804] where ye are: and when I see H1818 the blood H6452 [H8804] , I will pass H5063 over you, and the plague H4889 shall not be upon you to destroy H5221 [H8687] you, when I smite H776 the land H4714 of Egypt.

14 H3117 And this day H2146 shall be to you for a memorial H2287 [H8804] ; and ye shall keep H2282 it a feast H3068 to the LORD H1755 throughout your generations H2287 [H8799] ; ye shall keep it a feast H2708 by an ordinance H5769 for ever.

15 H7651 Seven H3117 days H398 [H8799] shall ye eat H4682 unleavened bread H389 ; even H7223 the first H3117 day H7673 [H8686] ye shall put away H7603 leaven H1004 out of your houses H398 [H8802] : for whoever eateth H2557 leavened bread H7223 from the first H3117 day H7637 till the seventh H3117 day H5315 , that soul H3772 [H8738] shall be cut H3478 off from Israel.

16 H7223 And in the first H3117 day H6944 there shall be an holy H4744 convocation H7637 , and in the seventh H3117 day H6944 there shall be an holy H4744 convocation H4399 to you; no manner of work H6213 [H8735] shall be done H389 in them, except H5315 what every man H398 [H8735] must eat H6213 [H8735] , that only may be done by you.

17 H8104 [H8804] And ye shall observe H4682 the feast of unleavened bread H6106 ; for in this same H3117 day H3318 [H8689] have I brought H6635 your armies H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H8104 [H8804] : therefore shall ye observe H3117 this day H1755 in your generations H2708 by an ordinance H5769 for ever.

18 H7223 In the first H6240 H702 month, on the fourteenth H3117 day H2320 of the month H6153 at evening H398 [H8799] , ye shall eat H4682 unleavened bread H259 , till the one H6242 and twentieth H3117 day H2320 of the month H6153 at evening.

19 H7651 Seven H3117 days H7603 shall there be no leaven H4672 [H8735] found H1004 in your houses H398 [H8802] : for whoever eateth H2556 [H8688] that which is leavened H5315 , even that soul H3772 [H8738] shall be cut off H5712 from the congregation H3478 of Israel H1616 , whether he shall be a stranger H249 , or born H776 in the land.

20 H398 [H8799] Ye shall eat H2556 [H8688] nothing leavened H4186 ; in all your habitations H398 [H8799] shall ye eat H4682 unleavened bread.

21 H4872 Then Moses H7121 [H8799] called H2205 for all the elders H3478 of Israel H559 [H8799] , and said H4900 [H8798] to them, Draw out H3947 [H8798] and take H6629 for yourselves a lamb H4940 according to your families H7819 [H8798] , and kill H6453 the passover.

22 H3947 [H8804] And ye shall take H92 a bunch H231 of hyssop H2881 [H8804] , and dip H1818 it in the blood H5592 that is in the basin H5060 [H8689] , and strike H4947 the lintel H8147 and the two H4201 side posts H1818 with the blood H5592 that is in the basin H376 ; and none H3318 [H8799] of you shall go out H6607 at the door H1004 of his house H1242 till the morning.

23 H3068 For the LORD H5674 [H8804] will pass through H5062 [H8800] to smite H4714 the Egyptians H7200 [H8804] ; and when he seeth H1818 the blood H4947 upon the lintel H8147 , and on the two H4201 side posts H3068 , the LORD H6452 [H8804] will pass over H6607 the door H5414 [H8799] , and will not permit H7843 [H8688] the destroyer H935 [H8800] to come H1004 in to your houses H5062 [H8800] to smite you.

24 H8104 [H8804] And ye shall observe H1697 this thing H2706 for an ordinance H1121 to thee and to thy sons H5704 for H5769 ever.

25 H935 [H8799] And it shall come to pass, when ye shall have come H776 to the land H3068 which the LORD H5414 [H8799] will give H1696 [H8765] you, according as he hath promised H8104 [H8804] , that ye shall keep H5656 this service.

26 H1121 And it shall come to pass, when your children H559 [H8799] shall say H5656 to you, What mean you by this service?

27 H559 [H8804] That ye shall say H2077 , It is the sacrifice H3068 of the LORD'S H6453 passover H6452 [H8804] , who passed H1004 over the houses H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H4714 in Egypt H5062 [H8800] , when he smote H4714 the Egyptians H5337 [H8689] , and delivered H1004 our houses H5971 . And the people H6915 [H8799] bowed the head H7812 [H8691] and worshipped.

28 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H3212 [H8799] went away H6213 [H8799] , and did H3068 as the LORD H6680 [H8765] had commanded H4872 Moses H175 and Aaron H6213 [H8804] , so did they.

29 H2677 H3915 And it came to pass, that at midnight H3068 the LORD H5221 [H8689] smote H1060 all the firstborn H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H1060 , from the firstborn H6547 of Pharaoh H3427 [H8802] that sat H3678 on his throne H1060 to the firstborn H7628 of the captive H1004 H953 that was in the dungeon H1060 ; and all the firstborn H929 of cattle.

30 H6547 And Pharaoh H6965 [H8799] rose H3915 in the night H5650 , he, and all his servants H4714 , and all the Egyptians H1419 ; and there was a great H6818 cry H4714 in Egypt H1004 ; for there was not a house H4191 [H8801] where there was not one dead.

31 H7121 [H8799] And he called H4872 for Moses H175 and Aaron H3915 by night H559 [H8799] , and said H6965 [H8798] , Arise H3318 [H8798] , and depart H8432 from among H5971 my people H1121 , both ye and the children H3478 of Israel H3212 [H8798] ; and go H5647 [H8798] , serve H3068 the LORD H1696 [H8763] , as ye have said.

32 H3947 [H8798] Also take H6629 your flocks H1241 and your herds H1696 [H8765] , as ye have said H3212 [H8798] , and be gone H1288 [H8765] ; and bless me also.

33 H4714 And the Egyptians H2388 [H8799] were urgent H5971 upon the people H7971 [H8763] , that they might send H776 them out of the land H4116 [H8763] in haste H559 [H8804] ; for they said H4191 [H8801] , We are all dead men.

34 H5971 And the people H5375 [H8799] took H1217 their dough H2556 [H8799] before it was leavened H4863 , their kneadingtroughs H6887 [H8803] being bound up H8071 in their clothes H7926 upon their shoulders.

35 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H6213 [H8804] did H1697 according to the word H4872 of Moses H7592 [H8799] ; and they asked H4714 of the Egyptians H3627 jewels H3701 of silver H3627 , and jewels H2091 of gold H8071 , and raiment:

36 H3068 And the LORD H5414 [H8804] gave H5971 the people H2580 favour H5869 in the sight H4714 of the Egyptians H7592 [H8686] , so that they gave H5337 [H8762] to them such things as they requested. And they plundered H4714 the Egyptians.

37 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H5265 [H8799] journeyed H7486 from Rameses H5523 to Succoth H8337 , about six H3967 hundred H505 thousand H7273 on foot H1397 that were men H905 , besides H2945 children.

38 H6154 And a mixed H7227 multitude H5927 [H8804] went up H6629 also with them; and flocks H1241 , and herds H3966 , even very H3515 many H4735 cattle.

39 H644 [H8799] And they baked H4682 unleavened H5692 cakes H1217 of the dough H3318 [H8689] which they brought H4714 from Egypt H2556 [H8804] , for it was not leavened H1644 [H8795] ; because they were driven H4714 from Egypt H3201 [H8804] , and could H4102 [H8699] not tarry H6213 [H8804] , neither had they prepared H6720 for themselves any food.

40 H4186 Now the sojourning H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H3427 [H8804] , who dwelt H4714 in Egypt H702 , was four H3967 H8141 hundred H7970 and thirty H8141 years.

41 H7093 And it came to pass at the end H702 of the four H3967 H8141 hundred H7970 and thirty H8141 years H6106 , even the same H3117 day H6635 it came to pass, that all the hosts H3068 of the LORD H3318 [H8804] departed H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt.

42 H3915 It is a night H8107 to be much observed H3068 to the LORD H3318 [H8687] for bringing H776 them out from the land H4714 of Egypt H3915 : this is that night H3068 of the LORD H8107 to be observed H1121 by all the children H3478 of Israel H1755 in their generations.

43 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H175 and Aaron H2708 , This is the ordinance H6453 of the passover H1121 H5236 : There shall no stranger H398 [H8799] eat of it:

44 H376 But every man's H5650 servant H4736 that is bought H3701 for money H4135 [H8804] , when thou hast circumcised H398 [H8799] him, then shall he eat of it.

45 H8453 A foreigner H7916 and an hired servant H398 [H8799] shall not eat of it.

46 H259 In one H1004 house H398 [H8735] shall it be eaten H3318 [H8686] ; thou shalt not carry H1320 any of the flesh H2351 abroad H1004 out of the house H7665 [H8799] ; neither shall ye break H6106 a bone of it.

47 H5712 All the congregation H3478 of Israel H6213 [H8799] shall keep it.

48 H1616 And when a stranger H1481 [H8799] shall sojourn H6213 [H8804] with thee, and will keep H6453 the passover H3068 to the LORD H2145 , let all his males H4135 [H8736] be circumcised H7126 [H8799] , and then let him come near H6213 [H8800] and keep H249 it; and he shall be as one that is born H776 in the land H6189 : for no uncircumcised person H398 [H8799] shall eat of it.

49 H259 One H8451 law H249 shall be to him that is homeborn H1616 , and to the stranger H1481 [H8802] that sojourneth H8432 among you.

50 H6213 [H8799] Thus did H1121 all the children H3478 of Israel H3068 ; as the LORD H6680 [H8765] commanded H4872 Moses H175 and Aaron H6213 [H8804] , so did they.

51 H6106 And it came to pass the same H3117 day H3068 , that the LORD H3318 [H8689] brought H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H6635 by their armies.
