6 H85 And Abraham H559 [H8799] said H8104 [H8734] to him, Beware H7725 0 that thou bring H6435 not H1121 my son H7725 [H8686] there again.

7 H3068 The LORD H430 God H8064 of heaven, H3947 [H8804] who took me H1 from my father's H1004 house, H776 and from the land H4138 of my kindred, H1696 [H8765] and who spoke H7650 [H8738] to me, and who swore H559 [H8800] to me, saying, H2233 To thy seed H5414 [H8799] will I give H776 this land; H7971 [H8799] he shall send H4397 his messenger H6440 before thee, H3947 [H8804] and thou shalt take H802 a wife H1121 for my son from there.

10 H5650 And the servant H3947 [H8799] took H6235 ten H1581 camels H1581 of the camels H113 of his master, H3212 [H8799] and departed; H2898 for all the goods H113 of his master H3027 were in his hands: H6965 [H8799] and he arose, H3212 [H8799] and went H763 to Mesopotamia, H5892 to the city H5152 of Nahor.

13 H5324 [H8737] Behold, I stand H5869 here by the well H4325 of water; H1323 and the daughters H582 of the men H5892 of the city H3318 [H8802] come out H7579 [H8800] to draw H4325 water:

14 H5291 And let it come to pass, that the damsel H559 [H8799] to whom I shall say, H5186 [H8685] Let down H3537 thy pitcher, H8354 [H8799] I pray thee, that I may drink; H559 [H8804] and she shall say, H8354 [H8798] Drink, H8248 [H8686] and I will water H1581 thy camels H3198 [H8689] also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed H5650 for thy servant H3327 Isaac; H3045 [H8799] and by that shall I know H6213 [H8804] that thou hast shown H2617 mercy H113 to my master.

15 H3615 [H8765] And it came to pass, before he had finished H1696 [H8763] speaking, H7259 that, behold, Rebekah H3318 [H8802] came out, H834 who H3205 [H8795] was born H1328 to Bethuel, H1121 son H4435 of Milcah, H802 the wife H5152 of Nahor, H85 Abraham's H251 brother, H3537 with her pitcher H7926 upon her shoulder.

16 H5291 And the damsel H3966 was very H2896 fair H4758 to look upon, H1330 a virgin, H376 neither had any man H3045 [H8804] known H3381 [H8799] her: and she went down H5869 to the well, H4390 [H8762] and filled H3537 her pitcher, H5927 [H8799] and came up.

17 H5650 And the servant H7323 [H8799] ran H7125 [H8800] to meet her, H559 [H8799] and said, H1572 [H8685] Let me, I pray thee, drink H4592 a little H4325 water H3537 from thy pitcher.

18 H559 [H8799] And she said, H8354 [H8798] Drink, H113 my lord: H4116 [H8762] and she hasted, H3381 [H8686] and let down H3537 her pitcher H3027 upon her hand, H8248 [H8686] and gave him a drink.

19 H3615 [H8762] And when she had finished H8248 [H8687] giving him drink, H559 [H8799] she said, H7579 [H8799] I will draw H1581 water for thy camels H3615 [H8765] also, till they have finished H8354 [H8800] drinking.

20 H4116 [H8762] And she hasted, H6168 [H8762] and emptied H3537 her pitcher H8268 into the trough, H7323 [H8799] and ran H875 again to the well H7579 [H8800] to draw H7579 [H8799] water, and drew H1581 for all his camels.

21 H376 And the man H7583 [H8693] wondering H2790 [H8688] at her held his peace, H3045 [H8800] to know H3068 whether the LORD H6743 0 had made H1870 his journey H6743 [H8689] prosperous H518 or not.

22 H1581 And it came to pass, as the camels H3615 [H8765] had finished H8354 [H8800] drinking, H376 that the man H3947 [H8799] took H2091 a golden H5141 earring H1235 of half a shekel H4948 weight, H8147 and two H6781 bracelets H3027 for her wrists H6235 of ten H4948 shekels weight H2091 of gold;

23 H559 [H8799] And said, H4310 Whose H1323 daughter H859 art thou? H5046 [H8685] tell H3426 me, I pray thee: is there H4725 room H1 in thy father's H1004 house H3885 [H8800] for us to lodge in?

24 H559 [H8799] And she said H1323 to him, I am the daughter H1328 of Bethuel H1121 the son H4435 of Milcah, H3205 [H8804] whom she bore H5152 to Nahor.

25 H559 [H8799] She said H1571 moreover to him, We have both H8401 straw H4554 and feed H7227 enough, H1571 and H4725 room H3885 [H8800] to lodge in.

26 H376 And the man H6915 [H8799] bowed his head, H7812 [H8691] and worshipped H3068 the LORD.

27 H559 [H8799] And he said, H1288 [H8803] Blessed H3068 be the LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham, H113 who hath not left my master H5800 H5973 [H8804] destitute H2617 of his mercy H571 and his truth: H1870 I being in the way, H3068 the LORD H5148 [H8804] led me H1004 to the house H113 of my master's H251 brethren.

28 H5291 And the damsel H7323 [H8799] ran, H5046 [H8686] and told H1697 these things H517 to her mother's H1004 house.

29 H7259 And Rebekah H251 had a brother, H8034 and his name H3837 was Laban: H3837 and Laban H7323 [H8799] ran H2351 out H376 to the man, H5869 to the well.

32 H376 And the man H935 [H8799] came H1004 into the house: H6605 [H8762] and he ungirded H1581 his camels, H5414 [H8799] and gave H8401 straw H4554 and feed H1581 for the camels, H4325 and water H7364 [H8800] to wash H7272 his feet, H582 and the men's H7272 feet that were with him.

33 H7760 H3455 [H8714] And there was set H6440 food before him H398 [H8800] to eat: H559 [H8799] but he said, H398 [H8799] I will not eat, H1696 [H8765] until I have told H1697 my errand. H559 [H8799] And he said, H1696 [H8761] Speak on.

34 H559 [H8799] And he said, H85 I am Abraham's H5650 servant.

35 H3068 And the LORD H1288 [H8765] hath blessed H113 my master H3966 greatly; H1431 [H8799] and he is become great: H5414 [H8799] and he hath given H6629 him flocks, H1241 and herds, H3701 and silver, H2091 and gold, H5650 and male H8198 and female servants, H1581 and camels, H2543 and donkeys.

36 H8283 And Sarah H113 my master's H802 wife H3205 [H8799] bore H1121 a son H113 to my master H310 when H2209 she was old: H5414 [H8799] and to him hath he given all that he hath.

37 H113 And my master H7650 [H8686] made me swear, H559 [H8800] saying, H3947 [H8799] Thou shalt not take H802 a wife H1121 for my son H1323 of the daughters H3669 of the Canaanites, H776 in whose land H3427 [H8802] I dwell:

38 H518 But H3212 [H8799] thou shalt go H1 to my father's H1004 house, H4940 and to my kindred, H3947 [H8804] and take H802 a wife H1121 for my son.

39 H559 [H8799] And I said H113 to my master, H802 It may be the woman H3212 H310 [H8799] will not follow me.

40 H559 [H8799] And he said H3068 to me, The LORD, H6440 at the face of H1980 [H8694] whom I walk, H7971 [H8799] will send H4397 his messenger H6743 [H8689] with thee, and prosper H1870 thy way; H3947 [H8804] and thou shalt take H802 a wife H1121 for my son H4940 of my kindred, H1 and of my father's H1004 house:

41 H5352 [H8735] Then shalt thou be clear H423 from this my oath, H935 [H8799] when thou comest H4940 to my kindred; H5414 [H8799] and if they give H5355 not thee one, thou shalt be clear H423 from my oath.

42 H935 [H8799] And I came H3117 this day H5869 to the well, H559 [H8799] and said, H3068 O LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham, H3426 if now thou dost H6743 [H8688] prosper H1870 my way H1980 [H8802] which I go:

43 H5324 [H8737] Behold, I stand H5869 by the well H4325 of water; H5959 and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin H3318 [H8802] cometh forth H7579 [H8800] to draw H559 [H8804] water, and I say H8248 0 to her, Give me, H4592 I pray thee, a little H4325 water H3537 of thy pitcher H8248 [H8685] to drink;

44 H559 [H8804] And she saith H8354 [H8798] to me, Both drink H7579 [H8799] thou, and I will also draw H1581 for thy camels: H802 let the same be the woman H3068 whom the LORD H3198 [H8689] hath appointed H113 for my master's H1121 son.

45 H3615 [H8762] And before I had finished H1696 [H8763] speaking H3820 in my heart, H7259 behold, Rebekah H3318 [H8802] came forth H3537 with her pitcher H7926 on her shoulder; H3381 [H8799] and she went down H5869 to the well, H7579 [H8799] and drew H559 [H8799] water: and I said H8248 [H8685] to her, Let me drink, I pray thee.

46 H4116 [H8762] And she made haste, H3381 [H8686] and let down H3537 her pitcher H559 [H8799] from her shoulder, and said, H8354 [H8798] Drink, H8248 [H8686] and I will water H1581 thy camels H8354 [H8799] also: so I drank, H8248 [H8689] and she watered H1581 the camels also.

47 H7592 [H8799] And I asked H559 [H8799] her, and said, H1323 Whose daughter H559 [H8799] art thou? And she said, H1323 The daughter H1328 of Bethuel, H5152 Nahor's H1121 son, H4435 whom Milcah H3205 [H8804] bore H7760 [H8799] to him: and I put H5141 the ring H639 upon her nose, H6781 and the bracelets H3027 upon her wrists.

48 H6915 [H8799] And I bowed my head, H7812 [H8691] and worshipped H3068 the LORD, H1288 [H8762] and blessed H3068 the LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham, H5148 [H8689] who had led me H571 in the right H1870 way H3947 [H8800] to take H113 my master's H251 brother's H1323 daughter H1121 for his son.

49 H3426 And now if you will H6213 [H8802] deal H2617 mercifully H571 and truly H113 with my master, H5046 [H8685] tell H5046 [H8685] me: and if not, tell H6437 [H8799] me; that I may turn H3225 to the right hand, H176 or H8040 to the left.

50 H3837 Then Laban H1328 and Bethuel H6030 [H8799] answered H559 [H8799] and said, H1697 The thing H3318 [H8804] proceedeth H3068 from the LORD: H3201 [H8799] we cannot H1696 [H8763] speak H7451 to thee bad H176 or H2896 good.

51 H7259 Behold, Rebekah H6440 is before thee, H3947 [H8798] take H3212 [H8798] her, and go, H113 and let her be thy master's H1121 son's H802 wife, H3068 as the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath spoken.

52 H85 And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's H5650 servant H8085 [H8804] heard H1697 their words, H7812 [H8691] he worshipped H3068 the LORD, H776 bowing himself to the earth.

53 H5650 And the servant H3318 [H8686] brought forth H3627 jewels H3701 of silver, H3627 and jewels H2091 of gold, H899 and raiment, H5414 [H8799] and gave H7259 them to Rebekah: H5414 [H8804] he gave H251 also to her brother H517 and to her mother H4030 precious things.

54 H398 [H8799] And they ate H8354 [H8799] and drank, H582 he and the men H3885 [H8799] that were with him, and tarried all night; H6965 [H8799] and they rose H1242 in the morning, H559 [H8799] and he said, H7971 [H8761] Send me away H113 to my master.

58 H7121 [H8799] And they called H7259 Rebekah, H559 [H8799] and said H3212 [H8799] to her, Wilt thou go H376 with this man? H559 [H8799] And she said, H3212 [H8799] I will go.

59 H7971 [H8762] And they sent away H7259 Rebekah H269 their sister, H3243 [H8688] and her nurse, H85 and Abraham's H5650 servant, H582 and his men.

60 H1288 [H8762] And they blessed H7259 Rebekah, H559 [H8799] and said H859 to her, Thou H269 art our sister, H1961 [H8798] be thou H505 the mother of thousands H7233 of millions, H2233 and let thy seed H3423 [H8799] possess H8179 the gate H8130 [H8802] of those who hate them.

61 H7259 And Rebekah H6965 [H8799] arose, H5291 and her damsels, H7392 [H8799] and they rode H1581 upon the camels, H3212 H310 [H8799] and followed H376 the man: H5650 and the servant H3947 [H8799] took H7259 Rebekah, H3212 [H8799] and went his way.
