  10 H7797 שׂושׂ   H7797 אשׂישׂ   H3068 ביהוה in the LORD, H1523 תגל shall be joyful H5315 נפשׁי my soul H430 באלהי in my God; H3588 כי for H3847 הלבישׁני he hath clothed H899 בגדי me with the garments H3468 ישׁע of salvation, H4598 מעיל me with the robe H6666 צדקה of righteousness, H3271 יעטני he hath covered H2860 כחתן as a bridegroom H3547 יכהן decketh H6287 פאר with ornaments, H3618 וככלה and as a bride H5710 תעדה adorneth H3627 כליה׃ with her jewels.

  5 H3588 כי For H3605 כל all H5971 העמים people H1980 ילכו will walk H376 אישׁ every one H8034 בשׁם in the name H430 אלהיו of his god, H587 ואנחנו and we H1980 נלך will walk H8034 בשׁם in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5769 לעולם forever H5703 ועד׃ and ever.

  18 H589 ואני Yet I H3068 ביהוה in the LORD, H5937 אעלוזה will rejoice H1523 אגילה I will joy H430 באלהי in the God H3468 ישׁעי׃ of my salvation.

  30 H8085 ושׁמעת And hearken H413 אל thou to H8467 תחנת the supplication H5650 עבדך of thy servant, H5971 ועמך and of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H834 אשׁר when H6419 יתפללו they shall pray H413 אל toward H4725 המקום place: H2088 הזה this H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע and hear H413 אל in H4725 מקום place: H3427 שׁבתך thy dwelling H413 אל   H8064 השׁמים heaven H8085 ושׁמעת and when thou hearest, H5545 וסלחת׃ forgive.

  43 H859 אתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven H4349 מכון place, H3427 שׁבתך thy dwelling H6213 ועשׂית and do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H7121 יקרא calleth H413 אליך to H5237 הנכרי the stranger H4616 למען thee for: that H3045 ידעון may know H3605 כל all H5971 עמי people H776 הארץ of the earth H853 את   H8034 שׁמך thy name, H3372 ליראה to fear H853 אתך   H5971 כעמך thee, as thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel; H3045 ולדעת and that they may know H3588 כי that H8034 שׁמך thy name. H7121 נקרא is called H5921 על by H1004 הבית house, H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר which H1129 בניתי׃ I have built,

  2 H3320 יתיצבו set themselves, H4428 מלכי The kings H776 ארץ of the earth H7336 ורוזנים and the rulers H3245 נוסדו take counsel H3162 יחד together, H5921 על against H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5921 ועל and against H4899 משׁיחו׃ his anointed,

  7 H6395 הפלה   H2617 חסדיך   H3467 מושׁיע O thou that savest H2620 חוסים them which put their trust H6965 ממתקוממים from those that rise up H3225 בימינך׃ by thy right hand

  35 H5414 ותתן Thou hast also given H4043 לי מגן me the shield H3468 ישׁעך of thy salvation: H3225 וימינך and thy right hand H5582 תסעדני hath holden me up, H6037 וענותך   H7235 תרבני׃ hath made me great.

  50 H2167 מגדל   H3444 ישׁועות deliverance H4428 מלכו giveth he to his king; H6213 ועשׂה and showeth H2617 חסד mercy H4899 למשׁיחו to his anointed, H1732 לדוד to David, H2233 ולזרעו and to his seed H5704 עד forevermore. H5769 עולם׃ forevermore.

  8 H3068 יהוה The LORD H5797 עז their strength, H4581 למו ומעוז strength H3444 ישׁועות the saving H4899 משׁיחו of his anointed. H1931 הוא׃ and he

  11 H2063 בזאת By this H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H2654 חפצת thou favorest H3588 בי כי me, because H3808 לא doth not H7321 יריע triumph H341 איבי mine enemy H5921 עלי׃ over

  20 H4672 מצאתי I have found H1732 דוד David H5650 עבדי my servant; H8081 בשׁמן oil H6944 קדשׁי with my holy H4886 משׁחתיו׃ have I anointed

  21 H834 אשׁר whom H3027 ידי my hand H3559 תכון shall be established: H5973 עמו With H637 אף also H2220 זרועי mine arm H553 תאמצנו׃ shall strengthen

  22 H3808 לא shall not H5378 ישׁא exact H341 אויב The enemy H1121 בו ובן the son H5766 עולה of wickedness H3808 לא upon him; nor H6031 יעננו׃ afflict

  23 H3807 וכתותי And I will beat down H6440 מפניו before his face, H6862 צריו his foes H8130 ומשׂנאיו them that hate H5062 אגוף׃ and plague

  15 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H7311 רם the high H5375 ונשׂא and lofty One H7931 שׁכן that inhabiteth H5703 עד eternity, H6918 וקדושׁ Holy; H8034 שׁמו whose name H4791 מרום in the high H6918 וקדושׁ and holy H7931 אשׁכון I dwell H854 ואת with H1793 דכא him also of a contrite H8217 ושׁפל and humble H7307 רוח spirit, H2421 להחיות to revive H7307 רוח the spirit H8217 שׁפלים of the humble, H2421 ולהחיות and to revive H3820 לב the heart H1792 נדכאים׃ of the contrite ones.

  9 H227 אז Then H7121 תקרא shalt thou call, H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H6030 יענה shall answer; H7768 תשׁוע thou shalt cry, H559 ויאמר and he shall say, H2005 הנני   H518 אם I If H5493 תסיר thou take away H8432 מתוכך from the midst H4133 מוטה of thee the yoke, H7971 שׁלח the putting forth H676 אצבע of the finger, H1696 ודבר and speaking H205 און׃ vanity;

  15 H5027 הבט Look down H8064 משׁמים from heaven, H7200 וראה and behold H2073 מזבל from the habitation H6944 קדשׁך of thy holiness H8597 ותפארתך and of thy glory: H346 איה where H7068 קנאתך thy zeal H1369 וגבורתך and thy strength, H1995 המון the sounding H4578 מעיך of thy bowels H7356 ורחמיך and of thy mercies H413 אלי toward H662 התאפקו׃ me? are they restrained?

  5 H6430 ופלשׁתים And the Philistines H622 נאספו gathered themselves together H3898 להלחם to fight H5973 עם with H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H7970 שׁלשׁים thirty H505 אלף thousand H7393 רכב chariots, H8337 ושׁשׁת and six H505 אלפים thousand H6571 פרשׁים horsemen, H5971 ועם and people H2344 כחול as the sand H834 אשׁר which H5921 על on H8193 שׂפת shore H3220 הים the sea H7230 לרב in multitude: H5927 ויעלו and they came up, H2583 ויחנו and pitched H4363 במכמשׂ in Michmash, H6926 קדמת eastward H1007 בית און׃ from Beth-aven.

  4 H3920 וילכד took H1732 דוד And David H4480 ממנו from H505 אלף him a thousand H7651 ושׁבע and seven H3967 מאות hundred H6571 פרשׁים horsemen, H6242 ועשׂרים and twenty H505 אלף thousand H376 אישׁ footmen: H7273 רגלי footmen: H6131 ויעקר hamstrung H1732 דוד and David H853 את   H3605 כל all H7393 הרכב the chariot H3498 ויותר but reserved H4480 ממנו of H3967 מאה them a hundred H7393 רכב׃ chariots.

  18 H5127 וינס fled H758 ארם And the Syrians H6440 מפני before H3478 ישׂראל Israel; H2026 ויהרג slew H1732 דוד and David H758 מארם   H7651 שׁבע seven H3967 מאות hundred H7393 רכב chariots H705 וארבעים and forty H505 אלף thousand H6571 פרשׁים horsemen, H853 ואת   H7731 שׁובך Shobach H8269 שׂר the captain H6635 צבאו of their host, H5221 הכה and smote H4191 וימת who died H8033 שׁם׃ there.

  10 H587 ואנחנו But as for us, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H3808 ולא and we have not H5800 עזבנהו forsaken H3548 וכהנים him; and the priests, H8334 משׁרתים which minister H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD, H1121 בני the sons H175 אהרן of Aaron, H3881 והלוים and the Levites H4399 במלאכת׃ upon business:

  11 H6999 ומקטרים And they burn H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H5930 עלות burnt sacrifices H1242 בבקר every morning H1242 בבקר every morning H6153 ובערב and every evening H6153 בערב and every evening H7004 וקטרת incense: H5561 סמים and sweet H4635 ומערכת the shewbread H3899 לחם the shewbread H5921 על also upon H7979 השׁלחן table; H2889 הטהור the pure H4501 ומנורת and the candlestick H2091 הזהב of gold H5216 ונרתיה with the lamps H1197 לבער thereof, to burn H6153 בערב every evening: H6153 בערב every evening: H3588 כי for H8104 שׁמרים keep H587 אנחנו we H853 את   H4931 משׁמרת the charge H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו our God; H859 ואתם but ye H5800 עזבתם have forsaken H853 אתו׃  

  12 H2009 והנה And, behold, H5973 עמנו himself with H7218 בראשׁ us for captain, H430 האלהים God H3548 וכהניו and his priests H2689 וחצצרות trumpets H8643 התרועה with sounding H7321 להריע to cry alarm H5921 עליכם against H1121 בני you. O children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H408 אל ye not H3898 תלחמו fight H5973 עם against H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבתיכם of your fathers; H3588 כי for H3808 לא ye shall not H6743 תצליחו׃ prosper.

  16 H5127 וינוסו fled H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6440 מפני before H3063 יהודה Judah: H5414 ויתנם delivered H430 אלהים and God H3027 בידם׃ them into their hand.

  11 H7121 ויקרא cried H609 אסא And Asa H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיו his God, H559 ויאמר and said, H3068 יהוה LORD, H369 אין nothing H5973 עמך with H5826 לעזור thee to help, H996 בין whether H7227 רב with many, H369 לאין or with them that have no H3581 כח power: H5826 עזרנו help H3068 יהוה us, O LORD H430 אלהינו our God; H3588 כי for H5921 עליך on H8172 נשׁענו we rest H8034 ובשׁמך thee, and in thy name H935 באנו we go H5921 על against H1995 ההמון multitude. H2088 הזה this H3068 יהוה O LORD, H430 אלהינו our God; H859 אתה thou H408 אל let not H6113 יעצר prevail H5973 עמך against H582 אנושׁ׃ man

  12 H430 אלהינו O our God, H3808 הלא wilt thou not H8199 תשׁפט judge H3588 בם כי them? for H369 אין we have no H3581 בנו כח might H6440 לפני against H1995 ההמון company H7227 הרב great H2088 הזה this H935 הבא that cometh H5921 עלינו against H587 ואנחנו we H3808 לא us; neither H3045 נדע know H4100 מה what H6213 נעשׂה to do: H3588 כי but H5921 עליך upon H5869 עינינו׃ our eyes

  13 H3605 וכל And all H3063 יהודה Judah H5975 עמדים stood H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1571 גם with H2945 טפם their little ones, H802 נשׁיהם their wives, H1121 ובניהם׃ and their children.

  14 H3166 ויחזיאל Jahaziel H1121 בן the son H2148 זכריהו of Zechariah, H1121 בן the son H1141 בניה of Benaiah, H1121 בן the son H3273 יעיאל of Jeiel, H1121 בן the son H4983 מתניה of Mattaniah, H3881 הלוי a Levite H4480 מן of H1121 בני the sons H623 אסף of Asaph, H1961 היתה came H5921 עליו Then upon H7307 רוח the Spirit H3068 יהוה of the LORD H8432 בתוך in the midst H6951 הקהל׃ of the congregation;

  15 H559 ויאמר And he said, H7181 הקשׁיבו Hearken H3605 כל ye, all H3063 יהודה Judah, H3427 וישׁבי and ye inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H4428 והמלך and thou king H3092 יהושׁפט Jehoshaphat, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H859 לכם אתם   H408 אל nor H3372 תיראו   H408 ואל   H2865 תחתו dismayed H6440 מפני by reason of H1995 ההמון multitude; H7227 הרב great H2088 הזה this H3588 כי for H3808 לא not H4421 לכם המלחמה the battle H3588 כי yours, but H430 לאלהים׃ God's.

  16 H4279 מחר Tomorrow H3381 רדו go ye down H5921 עליהם against H2005 הנם   H5927 עלים they come up H4608 במעלה by the cliff H6732 הציץ of Ziz; H4672 ומצאתם and ye shall find H853 אתם   H5490 בסוף them at the end H5158 הנחל of the brook, H6440 פני before H4057 מדבר the wilderness H3385 ירואל׃ of Jeruel.

  17 H3808 לא Ye shall not H3898 לכם להלחם to fight H2063 בזאת in this H3320 התיצבו set yourselves, H5975 עמדו stand H7200 וראו ye and see H853 את   H3444 ישׁועת the salvation H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5973 עמכם with H3063 יהודה you, O Judah H3389 וירושׁלם and Jerusalem: H408 אל not, H3372 תיראו fear H408 ואל nor H2865 תחתו be dismayed; H4279 מחר tomorrow H3318 צאו go out H6440 לפניהם against H3068 ויהוה them: for the LORD H5973 עמכם׃ with

  18 H6915 ויקד bowed his head H3092 יהושׁפט And Jehoshaphat H639 אפים with face H776 ארצה to the ground: H3605 וכל and all H3063 יהודה Judah H3427 וישׁבי and the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem H5307 נפלו fell H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7812 להשׁתחות worshiping H3068 ליהוה׃ the LORD.

  19 H6965 ויקמו stood up H3881 הלוים And the Levites, H4480 מן of H1121 בני of the children H6956 הקהתים the Kohathites, H4480 ומן and of H1121 בני the children H7145 הקרחים of the Korhites, H1984 להלל to praise H3068 ליהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6963 בקול voice H1419 גדול with a loud H4605 למעלה׃ on high.

  20 H7925 וישׁכימו And they rose early H1242 בבקר in the morning, H3318 ויצאו and went forth H4057 למדבר into the wilderness H8620 תקוע of Tekoa: H3318 ובצאתם and as they went forth, H5975 עמד stood H3092 יהושׁפט Jehoshaphat H559 ויאמר and said, H8085 שׁמעוני Hear H3063 יהודה me, O Judah, H3427 וישׁבי and ye inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem; H539 האמינו Believe H3068 ביהוה in the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H539 ותאמנו so shall ye be established; H539 האמינו believe H5030 בנביאיו his prophets, H6743 והצליחו׃ so shall ye prosper.

  8 H5973 עמו With H2220 זרוע him an arm H1320 בשׂר of flesh; H5973 ועמנו but with H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהינו our God H5826 לעזרנו to help H3898 ולהלחם us, and to fight H4421 מלחמתנו our battles. H5564 ויסמכו rested themselves H5971 העם And the people H5921 על upon H1697 דברי the words H2396 יחזקיהו   H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah.

  16 H369 אין There is no H4428 המלך king H3467 נושׁע saved H7230 ברב by the multitude H2428 חיל of a host: H1368 גבור a mighty man H3808 לא is not H5337 ינצל delivered H7230 ברב by much H3581 כח׃ strength.

  17 H8267 שׁקר a vain thing H5483 הסוס A horse H8668 לתשׁועה for safety: H7230 וברב by his great H2428 חילו strength. H3808 לא neither H4422 ימלט׃ shall he deliver

  17 H2142 אזכירה to be remembered H8034 שׁמך I will make thy name H3605 בכל in all H1755 דר generations: H1755 ודר generations: H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H5971 עמים shall the people H3034 יהודך praise H5769 לעלם thee forever H5703 ועד׃ and ever.

  31 H5483 סוס The horse H3559 מוכן prepared H3117 ליום against the day H4421 מלחמה of battle: H3068 וליהוה of the LORD. H8668 התשׁועה׃ but safety
