2 G2532 And G649 [G5656] he sent G846 them G2784 [G5721] to proclaim G932 the kingdom G2316 of God, G2532 and G2390 [G5738] to heal G770 [G5723] the sick.

3 G2532 And G2036 [G5627] he said G4314 to G846 them, G142 [G5720] { Take G3367 nothing G1519 for G3598 your journey, G3383 neither G4464 rods, G3383 nor G4082 bag, G3383 neither G740 bread, G3383 neither G694 money; G3383 neither G2192 [G5721] have G1417 two G5509 coats G303 apiece.}

4 G2532 { And G3739 G302 whatever G3614 house G1525 [G5632] ye enter G1519 into, G1563 there G3306 [G5720] abide, G2532 and G1564 from there G1831 [G5737] depart.}

5 G2532 { And G3745 G302 whoever G1209 0 will G3361 not G1209 [G5667] receive G5209 you, G1831 [G5740] when ye go G575 from G1565 that G4172 city, G660 [G5657] shake off G2532 the very G2868 dust G575 from G5216 your G4228 feet G1519 for G3142 a testimony G1909 against G846 them.}

6 G1161 And G1831 [G5740] they departed, G1330 [G5711] and went G2596 through G2968 the towns, G2097 [G5734] announcing the good news, G2532 and G2323 [G5723] healing G3837 every where.

7 G1161 Now G2264 Herod G5076 the tetrarch G191 [G5656] heard G3956 of all G1096 [G5740] that was done G5259 by G846 him: G2532 and G1280 [G5707] he was perplexed, G1223 because G3004 [G5745] that it was said G5259 by G5100 some, G3754 that G2491 John G1453 [G5769] had risen G1537 from G3498 the dead;

8 G1161 And G5259 by G5100 some, G3754 that G2243 Elijah G5316 [G5648] had appeared; G1161 and G243 by others, G3754 that G1520 one G744 of the ancient G4396 prophets G450 [G5627] had risen again.

12 G1161 And G3588 when the G2250 day G756 [G5662] began G2827 [G5721] to decline, G1161 then G4334 [G5631] came G3588 the G1427 twelve, G2036 [G5632] and said G846 to him, G630 [G5657] Dismiss G3588 the G3793 crowd, G2443 that G565 [G5631] they may go G1519 into G3588 the G2945 surrounding G2968 towns G2532 and G68 fields, G2647 [G5661] and lodge, G2532 and G2147 [G5627] get G1979 provisions: G3754 for G2070 [G5748] we are G5602 here G1722 in G2048 a deserted G5117 place.

19 G1161 They G611 [G5679] answering G2036 [G5627] said, G2491 John G3588 the G910 Baptist; G1161 but G243 some G2243 say, Elijah; G1161 and G243 others G3754 say, that G5100 one G3588 of the G744 ancient G4396 prophets G450 [G5627] is risen again.

20 G1161 G2036 [G5627] He said G846 to them, G1161 { But G5101 who G3004 [G5719] say G5210 ye G3165 that I G1511 [G5750] am? G1161 } G4074 Peter G611 [G5679] answering G2036 [G5627] said, G5547 The Anointed G2316 of God.

21 G1161 And G2008 [G5660] he strictly charged G846 them, G3853 [G5656] and commanded G2036 [G5629] them to tell G3367 no man G5124 that thing;

22 G2036 [G5631] Saying, G3754 G5207 { The Son G444 of man G1163 [G5748] must G3958 [G5629] suffer G4183 many things, G2532 and G593 [G5683] be rejected G575 by G4245 the elders G2532 and G749 chief priests G2532 and G1122 scribes, G2532 and G615 [G5683] be killed, G2532 and G1453 [G5683] be raised G5154 the third G2250 day.}

23 G1161 And G3004 [G5707] he said G4314 to G3956 them all, G1536 { If any man G2309 [G5719] will G2064 [G5629] come G3694 after G3450 me, G533 [G5663] let him deny G1438 himself, G2532 and G142 [G5657] take up G846 his G4716 stake G2250 G2596 daily, G2532 and G190 [G5720] follow G3427 me.}

24 G1063 { For G3739 G302 whoever G2309 [G5725] will G4982 [G5658] save G846 his G5590 breath G622 [G5692] shall lose G846 it: G1161 but G3739 G302 whoever G622 [G5661] will lose G846 his G5590 breath G1700 for my G1752 sake, G3778 the same G4982 [G5692] shall save G846 it.}

25 G1063 { For G5101 what G5623 0 is G444 a man G5623 [G5743] profited, G2770 [G5660] if he shall gain G3650 the whole G2889 world, G1161 and G622 [G5660] lose G1438 himself, G2228 or G2210 [G5685] be cast away?}

26 G1063 { For G3739 G302 whoever G1870 [G5680] shall be ashamed G3165 of me G2532 and G1699 of my G3056 words, G5126 of him G1870 0 shall G5207 the Son G444 of man G1870 [G5700] be ashamed, G3752 when G2064 [G5632] he shall come G1722 in G846 his own G1391 glory, G2532 and G3962 in that of his Father, G2532 and G40 of the holy G32 messengers.}

27 G1161 { But G3004 [G5719] I tell G5213 you G230 truly, G1526 [G5748] there are G5100 some G2476 [G5761] standing G5602 here, G3739 who G1089 0 shall G3364 not G1089 [G5695] taste G2288 death, G2193 G302 till G1492 [G5632] they see G932 the kingdom G2316 of God.}

28 G1161 And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass G5616 about G3638 eight G2250 days G3326 after G5128 these G3056 sayings, G2532 G3880 [G5631] he took G4074 Peter G2532 and G2491 John G2532 and G2385 Jacobus, G305 G1519 [G5627] and went up upon G3735 a mountain G4336 [G5664] to pray.

30 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] behold, G4814 [G5707] there talked G846 with him G1417 two G435 men, G3748 who G2258 [G5713] were G3475 Moses G2532 and G2243 Elijah:

31 G3739 Who G3700 [G5685] having appeared G1722 in G1391 glory, G3004 [G5707] spoke G846 of his G1841 exodus G3739 which G3195 [G5707] he was about G4137 [G5721] to fulfill G1722 at G2419 Jerusalem.

32 G1161 But G4074 Peter G2532 and G4862 they that were with G846 him G2258 [G5713] were G916 [G5772] being weighed down G5258 with sleep: G1161 and G1235 [G5660] when they were awake, G1492 [G5627] they saw G846 his G1391 glory, G2532 and G1417 the two G435 men G4921 [G5761] that stood with G846 him.

33 G2532 And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G1722 as G846 they G1316 [G5738] departed G575 from G846 him, G4074 Peter G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G2424 Jesus, G1988 Master, G2076 [G5748] it is G2570 good G2248 for us G1511 [G5750] to be G5602 here: G2532 and G4160 [G5661] let us make G5140 three G4633 tents; G3391 one for G4671 thee, G2532 and G3391 one for G3475 Moses, G2532 and G3391 one for G2243 Elijah: G3361 not G1492 [G5761] knowing G3739 what G3004 [G5719] he said.

34 G1161 While G846 he G5023 was thus G3004 [G5723] speaking, G1096 [G5633] there came G3507 a cloud, G2532 and G1982 [G5656] overshadowed G846 them: G1161 and G5399 [G5675] they feared G1722 as G1565 they G1525 [G5629] entered G1519 into G3507 the cloud.

35 G2532 And G1096 [G5633] there came G5456 a voice G1537 out of G3507 the cloud, G3004 [G5723] saying, G3778 This G2076 [G5748] is G3450 my G27 beloved G5207 Son: G191 [G5720] hear G846 him.

36 G2532 And G5456 when the voice G1722 G1096 [G5635] was past, G2424 Jesus G2147 [G5681] was found G3441 alone. G2532 And G846 they G4601 [G5656] kept silent, G2532 and G518 [G5656] told G3762 no man G1722 in G1565 those G2250 days G3762 any G3739 of those things which G3708 [G5758] they had seen.

37 G1161 And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G1722 that on G1836 the next G2250 day, G846 when they G2718 [G5631] had come down G575 from G3735 the mountain, G3793 a crowd G4183 of many G4876 [G5656] met G846 him.

38 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] behold, G435 a man G575 from G3588 the G3793 crowd G310 [G5656] cried out, G3004 [G5723] saying, G1320 Teacher, G1189 [G5736] I beseech G4675 thee, G1914 [G5657] look G1909 upon G3450 my G5207 son: G3754 for G2076 [G5748] he is G3427 my G3439 only child.

39 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] lo, G4151 a spirit G2983 [G5719] taketh G846 him, G2532 and G1810 he suddenly G2896 [G5719] crieth out; G2532 and G4682 [G5719] it teareth G846 him G876 G3326 that he foameth, G2532 and G4937 [G5723] bruising G846 him G3425 hardly G672 [G5719] departeth G575 from G846 him.

40 G2532 And G1189 [G5681] I besought G4675 thy G3101 disciples G2443 to G1544 0 cast G846 him G1544 [G5725] out; G2532 and G1410 [G5675] they could G3756 not.

41 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answering G2036 [G5627] said, G5599 { O G571 faithless G2532 and G1294 [G5772] perverse G1074 generation, G2193 how G4219 long G2071 [G5704] shall I be G4314 with G5209 you, G2532 and G430 [G5695] bear with G5216 you? G4317 [G5628] Bring G4675 thy G5207 son G5602 here.}

42 G1161 And G846 as he G4334 0 was G2089 yet G4334 [G5740] coming, G1140 the demon G4486 0 threw G846 him G4486 [G5656] down, G2532 and G4952 [G5656] tore G1161 him. And G2424 Jesus G2008 [G5656] rebuked G169 the unclean G4151 spirit, G2532 and G2390 [G5662] healed G3816 the child, G2532 and G591 0 delivered G846 him G591 [G5656] again G846 to his G3962 father.

43 G1161 And G1605 0 they were G3956 all G1605 [G5712] amazed G1909 at G3168 the magnificence G2316 of God. G1161 But G2296 0 while they were G3956 all G2296 [G5723] amazed G1909 at G3956 all things G3739 which G2424 Jesus G4160 [G5656] did, G2036 [G5627] he said G4314 to G846 his G3101 disciples,

44 G5128 { Let these G3056 sayings G5087 [G5640] sink down G1519 into G5210 G5216 your G3775 ears: G1063 for G5207 the Son G444 of man G3195 [G5719] shall be G3860 [G5745] delivered G1519 into G5495 the hands G444 of men.}

45 G1161 But G50 [G5707] they knew not G5124 this G4487 utterance, G2532 and G2258 [G5713] it was G3871 [G5772] hid G575 from G846 them, G3363 0 that G143 [G5638] they perceived G846 it G3363 not: G2532 and G5399 [G5711] they feared G2065 [G5658] to ask G846 him G4012 concerning G5127 that G4487 utterance.

46 G1161 Then G1525 [G5627] there arose G1261 a reasoning G1722 among G846 them, G5101 G302 which G846 of them G1498 [G5751] may be G3187 greatest.

47 G1161 And G2424 Jesus, G1492 [G5631] perceiving G1261 the thought G846 of their G2588 heart, G1949 [G5637] took G3813 a child, G2476 [G5656] and set G846 him G3844 by G1438 him,

48 G2532 And G2036 [G5627] said G846 to them, G3739 G1437 { Whoever G1209 [G5667] shall receive G5124 this G3813 child G1909 in G3450 my G3686 name G1209 [G5736] receiveth G1691 me: G2532 and G3739 G1437 whoever G1209 [G5667] shall receive G1691 me G1209 [G5736] receiveth him G649 [G5660] that sent G3165 me: G1063 for G5225 [G5723] he that is G3398 least G1722 among G5213 you G3956 all, G3778 the same G2071 [G5704] shall be G3173 great.}

49 G1161 And G2491 John G611 [G5679] answered G2036 [G5627] and said, G1988 Master, G1492 [G5627] we saw G5100 one G1544 [G5723] casting out G1140 demons G1909 in G4675 thy G3686 name; G2532 and G2967 [G5656] we forbad G846 him, G3754 because G190 [G5719] he followeth G3756 not G3326 with G2257 us.

50 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 him, G2967 [G5720] { Forbid G3361 him not: G1063 for G3739 he G2076 [G5748] that is G3756 not G2596 against G2257 us G2076 [G5748] is G5228 for G2257 us.}

51 G1161 And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G1722 in G3588 the G4845 [G5745] complete fulfilling G3588 of the G2250 days G846 that he G354 should be received up, G2532 and G846 he G4741 [G5656] fixed firmly G846 his G4383 face G4198 [G5738] to go G1519 into G2419 Jerusalem,

52 G2532 And G649 [G5656] sent G32 messengers G4253 before G846 his G4383 face: G2532 and G4198 [G5679] they went, G1525 [G5627] and entered G1519 into G2968 a village G4541 of the Samaritans, G5620 to G2090 [G5658] make ready G846 for him.

53 G2532 And G1209 0 they did G3756 not G1209 [G5662] receive G846 him, G3754 because G846 his G4383 face G2258 [G5713] was G4198 [G5740] as though he would go G1519 to G2419 Jerusalem.

54 G1161 And G846 when his G3101 disciples G2385 Jacobus G2532 and G2491 John G1492 [G5631] saw G2036 [G5627] this, they said, G2962 Lord, G2309 [G5719] wilt thou G2036 [G5632] that we command G4442 fire G2597 [G5629] to come down G575 from G3772 heaven, G2532 and G355 [G5658] consume G846 them, G2532 even G5613 as G2243 Elijah G4160 [G5656] did?

55 G1161 But G4762 [G5651] he turned, G2008 [G5656] and rebuked G846 them, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said, G1492 [G5758] { Ye know G3756 not G3634 what manner G4151 of spirit G5210 ye G2075 [G5748] are of.}

56 G1063 { For G5207 the Son G444 of man G2064 0 is G3756 not G2064 [G5627] come G622 [G5658] to make lost G444 men's G5590 breaths, G235 but G4982 [G5658] to save them. G2532 And G4198 [G5675] they went G1519 to G2087 another G2968 village.}

57 G1161 And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G846 that, as they G4198 [G5740] were G1722 going in G3598 the way, G5100 a certain G2036 [G5627] man said G4314 to G846 him, G2962 Lord, G190 [G5692] I will follow G4671 thee G3699 G302 wherever G565 [G5741] thou goest.

58 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G846 to him, G3588 { The G258 foxes G2192 [G5719] have G5454 holes, G2532 and G3588 the G4071 birds G3588 of the G3772 heaven G2682 have nests; G1161 but G3588 the G5207 Son G444 of man G2192 [G5719] hath G3756 no G4226 where G2827 [G5725] to lean G3588 the G2776 head.}

59 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said G4314 to G2087 another, G190 [G5720] { Follow G3427 me. G1161 } But G2036 [G5627] he said, G2962 Lord, G2010 [G5657] permit G3427 me G4412 first G565 [G5631] to go G2290 [G5658] and bury G3450 my G3962 father.

60 G1161 G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G846 to him, G863 [G5628] { Let G3498 the dead G2290 [G5658] bury G1438 their G3498 dead: G1161 but G565 [G5631] going forth G4771 thou G1229 [G5720] thoroughly announce G932 the kingdom G2316 of God.}

61 G1161 And G2087 another G2532 also G2036 [G5627] said, G2962 Lord, G190 [G5692] I will follow G4671 thee; G1161 but G2010 [G5657] let G3427 me G4412 first G657 [G5670] go and bid them farewell, G1519 who are at G3450 my G3624 house.

62 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 him, G3762 { No man, G1911 [G5631] having put G846 his G5495 hand G1909 to G723 the plow, G2532 and G991 [G5723] looking G1519 G3694 back, G2076 [G5748] is G2111 well-placed G1519 for G932 the kingdom G2316 of God.}
