Luke 10 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would come.

2 G3767 Therefore G3004 [G5707] said he G4314 to G846 them, G2326 { The harvest G3303 truly G4183 is great, G1161 but G2040 the labourers G3641 are few: G1189 [G5676] beseech ye G3767 therefore G2962 the Lord G2326 of the harvest, G3704 that G1544 [G5725] he would send forth G2040 labourers G1519 into G846 his G2326 harvest.}

3 G5217 [G5720] { Go your ways: G2400 [G5628] behold, G1473 I G649 0 send G5209 you G649 [G5719] forth G5613 as G704 lambs G1722 G3319 among G3074 wolves.}

4 G941 [G5720] { Carry G3361 neither G905 purse, G3361 nor G4082 sack, G3366 nor G5266 shoes: G2532 and G782 [G5667] greet G3367 no man G2596 by G3598 the way.}

5 G1161 { And G1519 into G3739 G302 whatever G3614 house G1525 [G5741] ye enter, G4412 first G3004 [G5720] say, G1515 Peace G5129 be to this G3624 house.}

6 G2532 { And G1437 G3303 if G5207 the son G1515 of peace G5600 [G5753] be G1563 there, G5216 your G1515 peace G1879 [G5695] shall rest G1909 upon G846 it: G1490 if not, G344 0 it shall turn G1909 to G5209 you G344 [G5692] again.}

7 G1161 { And G1722 in G846 the same G3614 house G3306 [G5720] remain, G2068 [G5723] eating G2532 and G4095 [G5723] drinking G3844 0 such things as G846 they G3844 give: G1063 for G2040 the labourer G2076 [G5748] is G514 worthy G846 of his G3408 wage. G3327 [G5720] Go G3361 not G1537 from G3614 house G1519 to G3614 house.}

8 G2532 { And G1519 into G1161 G3739 G302 whatever G4172 city G1525 [G5741] ye enter, G2532 and G1209 [G5741] they receive G5209 you, G2068 [G5720] eat such things G3908 [G5746] as are set before G5213 you:}

9 G2532 { And G2323 [G5720] heal G772 the sick G1722 that are in G846 it, G2532 and G3004 [G5720] say G846 to them, G932 The kingdom G2316 of God G1448 [G5758] is come near G1909 to G5209 you.}

10 G1161 { But G1519 into G3739 G302 whatever G4172 city G1525 [G5741] ye enter, G2532 and G1209 [G5741] they receive G5209 you G3361 not, G1831 [G5631] go out G1519 into G4113 the streets G846 of the same, G2036 [G5628] and say,}

11 G2532 { Even G2868 the very dust G1537 of G5216 your G4172 city, G3588 which G2853 [G5685] cleaveth G2254 on us, G631 [G5731] we do wipe off G5213 against you: G4133 however G1097 [G5720] be ye sure G5124 of this, G3754 that G932 the kingdom G2316 of God G1448 [G5758] is come near G1909 to G5209 you.}

12 G1161 { But G3004 [G5719] I say G5213 to you, G3754 that G2071 [G5704] it shall be G414 more tolerable G1722 in G1565 that G2250 day G4670 for Sodom, G2228 than G1565 for that G4172 city.}

13 G3759 { Woe G4671 to thee, G5523 Chorazin! G3759 woe G4671 to thee, G966 Bethsaida! G3754 for G1487 if G1411 the powerful works G1096 [G5633] had been done G1722 in G5184 Tyre G2532 and G4605 Sidon, G3588 which G1096 [G5637] have been done G1722 in G5213 you, G3340 0 they had G3819 a great while ago G3340 [G5656] changed their minds, G2521 [G5740] sitting G302 G1722 in G4526 sackcloth G2532 and G4700 ashes.}

14 G4133 { But G2071 [G5704] it shall be G414 more tolerable G5184 for Tyre G2532 and G4605 Sidon G1722 at G2920 the judgment, G2228 than G5213 for you.}

15 G2532 { And G4771 thou, G2584 Capernaum, G3588 which G5312 [G5685] art exalted G2193 to G3772 heaven, G2601 [G5701] shall be thrust down G2193 to G86 the grave.}

16 G191 [G5723] { He that heareth G5216 you G191 [G5719] heareth G1700 me; G2532 and G114 [G5723] he that despiseth G5209 you G114 [G5719] despiseth G1691 me; G1161 and G114 [G5723] he that despiseth G1691 me G114 [G5719] despiseth G649 [G5660] him that sent G3165 me.}

17 G1161 And G1440 the seventy G5290 [G5656] returned G3326 with G5479 joy, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2962 Lord, G2532 even G1140 the demons G5293 [G5743] are subject G2254 to us G1722 through G4675 thy G3686 name.

18 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to them, G2334 [G5707] { I beheld G3588 the G4567 adversary G5613 as G796 lightning G4098 [G5631] fall G1537 from G3772 heaven.}

19 G2400 [G5628] { Behold, G1325 [G5719] I give G5213 to you G1849 authority G3961 [G5721] to trample G1883 up above G3789 serpents G2532 and G4651 scorpions, G2532 and G1909 over G3956 all G1411 the power G2190 of the enemy: G2532 and G3762 nothing G91 0 shall G3364 by any means G91 G91 [G5661] hurt G5209 you.}

20 G4133 { However G1722 in G5129 this G5463 [G5720] rejoice G3361 not, G3754 that G4151 the spirits G5293 [G5743] are subject G5213 to you; G1161 but G3123 rather G5463 [G5720] rejoice, G3754 because G5216 your G3686 names G1125 [G5648] are written G1722 in G3772 heaven.}

21 G1722 In G846 that G5610 hour G2424 Jesus G21 [G5662] leapt for joy G3588 in the G4151 spirit, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said, G1843 [G5731] { I thank G4671 thee, G3962 O Father, G2962 Lord G3772 of heaven G2532 and G1093 earth, G3754 that G613 [G5656] thou hast hid G5023 these things G575 from G4680 the wise G2532 and G4908 prudent, G2532 and G601 [G5656] hast revealed G846 them G3516 to infants: G3483 even so, G3962 Father; G3754 for G3779 so G1096 [G5633] it seemed G2107 good G1715 0 in G4675 thy G1715 sight.}

22 G3956 { All things G3860 [G5681] are delivered G3427 to me G5259 by G3450 my G3962 Father: G2532 and G3762 no man G1097 [G5719] knoweth G5101 who G5207 the Son G2076 [G5748] is, G1508 but G3962 the Father; G2532 and G5101 who G3962 the Father G2076 [G5748] is, G1508 but G5207 the Son, G2532 and G3739 G1437 he to whom G5207 the Son G1014 [G5741] will G601 [G5658] reveal him.}

23 G2532 And G4762 [G5651] he turned himself G4314 to G3101 his disciples, G2036 [G5627] and said G2398 G2596 privately, G3107 { Blessed G3788 are the eyes G3588 which G991 [G5723] see G3739 the things that G991 [G5719] ye see:}

24 G1063 { For G3004 [G5719] I tell G5213 you, G3754 that G4183 many G4396 prophets G2532 and G935 kings G2309 [G5656] have desired G1492 [G5629] to see G3739 the things which G5210 ye G991 [G5719] see, G2532 and G1492 0 have G3756 not G1492 [G5627] seen G2532 them; and G191 [G5658] to hear G3739 the things which G191 [G5719] ye hear, G2532 and G191 0 have G3756 not G191 [G5656] heard them.}

25 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] behold, G5100 a certain G3544 lawyer G450 [G5627] stood up, G2532 and G1598 [G5723] tempted G846 him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G1320 Teacher, G5101 what G4160 [G5660] shall I do G2816 [G5692] to inherit G166 age-during G2222 life?

26 G1161 G2036 [G5627] He said G4314 to G846 him, G5101 { What G1125 [G5769] is written G1722 in G3551 the law? G4459 how G314 [G5719] readest thou?}

27 G1161 And G611 [G5679] he answering G2036 [G5627] said, G25 [G5692] Thou shalt love G2962 the Lord G4675 thy G2316 God G1537 with G3650 all G4675 thy G2588 heart, G2532 and G1537 with G3650 all G4675 thy G5590 breath, G2532 and G1537 with G3650 all G4675 thy G2479 strength, G2532 and G1537 with G3650 all G4675 thy G1271 mind; G2532 and G4675 thy G4139 neighbour G5613 as G4572 thyself.

28 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to him, G611 [G5662] { Thou hast answered G3723 right: G5124 this G4160 [G5720] do, G2532 and G2198 [G5692] thou shalt live.}

29 G1161 But G2309 [G5723] he, wishing G1344 [G5721] to justify G1438 himself, G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G2424 Jesus, G2532 And G5101 who G2076 [G5748] is G3450 my G4139 neighbour?

30 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G5274 [G5631] answering G2036 [G5627] said, G5100 { A certain G444 man G2597 [G5707] went down G575 from G2419 Jerusalem G1519 to G2410 Jericho, G2532 and G4045 [G5627] fell among G3027 brigands, G3739 G2532 who G1562 0 stripped G846 him G1562 [G5660] of his raiment, G2532 and G4127 G2007 [G5631] wounded G565 [G5627] him, and departed, G863 [G5631] leaving G2253 G5177 [G5723] him half dead.}

31 G1161 { And G2596 by G4795 chance G2597 [G5707] there came down G5100 a certain G2409 priest G1722 G1565 that G3598 way: G2532 and G1492 [G5631] when he saw G846 him, G492 [G5627] he passed by on the other side.}

32 G1161 { And G3668 G2532 likewise G3019 a Levite, G1096 [G5637] when he was G2596 at G5117 the place, G2064 [G5631] came G2532 and G1492 [G5631] looked G492 [G5627] on him, and passed by on the other side.}

33 G1161 { But G5100 a certain G4541 Samaritan, G3593 [G5723] as he journeyed, G2064 [G5627] came G2596 where G846 he was: G2532 and G1492 [G5631] when he saw G846 him, G4697 [G5675] he had compassion on him,}

34 G2532 { And G4334 [G5631] went G2611 [G5656] to him, and bound up G846 his G5134 wounds, G2022 [G5723] pouring in G1637 oil G2532 and G3631 wine, G1161 and G1913 [G5660] set G846 him G1909 on G2398 his own G2934 beast, G71 [G5627] and led G846 him G1519 to G3829 an inn, G2532 and G1959 [G5675] took care G846 of him.}

35 G2532 { And G1909 on G3588 the G839 morrow, G1831 [G5631] having come forth, G1544 [G5631] casting down G1417 two G1220 pence, G1325 [G5656] he gave them G3588 to the G3830 innkeeper, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said G846 to him, G1959 [G5682] Take care G846 of him; G2532 and G3748 G302 whatever G4325 [G5661] thou spendest more, G3165 I G1722 in G1473 my G1880 [G5738] returning back, G591 [G5692] will repay G4671 thee.}

36 G5101 { Which G3767 now G5130 of these G5140 three, G1380 [G5719] thinkest G4671 thou, G1096 [G5755] was G4139 neighbour G1706 [G5631] to him that fell G1519 among G3027 the brigands?}

37 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said, G4160 [G5660] He that showed G1656 mercy G3326 on G846 him. G3767 Then G2036 [G5627] said G2424 Jesus G846 to him, G4198 [G5737] { Go, G2532 and G4160 [G5720] do G4771 thou G3668 likewise.}

38 G1161 Now G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G1722 as G846 they G4198 [G5738] were going, G2532 G846 he G1525 [G5627] entered G1519 into G5100 a certain G2968 village: G1161 and G5100 a certain G1135 woman G3686 named G3136 Martha G5264 [G5662] received G846 him G1519 into G846 her G3624 house.

39 G2532 And G3592 she G2258 [G5713] had G79 a sister G2564 [G5746] called G3137 Mary, G3739 who G2532 also G3869 [G5660] sat G3844 at G2424 Jesus' G4228 feet, G191 [G5707] and heard G846 his G3056 word.

40 G1161 But G3136 Martha G4049 [G5712] was distracted G4012 about G4183 much G1248 serving, G1161 and G2186 [G5631] having stood by, G1161 and G2036 [G5627] said, G2962 Lord, G3199 0 dost G4671 thou G3756 not G3199 [G5719] care G3754 that G3450 my G79 sister G2641 [G5627] hath left G3165 me G1247 [G5721] to serve G3441 alone? G2036 [G5628] speak G846 to her G3767 therefore G2443 that G4878 [G5638] she help G3427 me.

41 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answered G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to her, G3136 { Martha, G3136 Martha, G3309 [G5719] thou art worried G2532 and G5182 [G5743] turbulent G4012 concerning G4183 many things:}

42 G1161 { But G1520 one thing G2076 [G5748] is G5532 needful: G1161 and G3137 Mary G1586 [G5668] hath chosen G18 that good G3310 part, G3748 which G851 0 shall G3756 not G851 [G5701] be taken away G575 from G846 her.}
