  4 H4057 מהמדבר   H3844 והלבנון Lebanon H2088 הזה and this H5704 ועד even unto H5104 הנהר river, H1419 הגדול the great H5104 נהר the river H6578 פרת Euphrates, H3605 כל all H776 ארץ the land H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H5704 ועד and unto H3220 הים sea H1419 הגדול the great H3996 מבוא toward the going down H8121 השׁמשׁ of the sun, H1961 יהיה shall be H1366 גבולכם׃ your coast.

  4 H4057 From the wilderness H3844 and this Lebanon H1419 even to the great H5104 river, H5104 the river H6578 Euphrates, H776 all the land H2850 of the Hittites, H1419 and to the great H3220 sea H3996 toward the setting H8121 of the sun, H1366 shall be your land.

Now therefore arise, go across this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them, even to the children of Israel. 3 I have given you every place that the sole of your foot will tread on, as I told Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even to the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border. 5 No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you. 6 “Be strong and courageous; for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you. Don’t turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. 8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. 9 Haven’t I commanded you? Take the people into the land given to them, even to the children of Israel. 3 »I give you every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon just as I promised Moses. 4 »From the wilderness and nearby Lebanon even to the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the great sea toward the going down of the sun (to the west), shall be your coast. 5 »No man will be able to resist you all the days of your life. Then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 »Have I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed; for Jehovah your God is with you wherever you go.« 10 Joshua commanded the officers of the people. He said:
ISV(i) 1 God’s Instructions to JoshuaAfter Moses, the servant of the LORD, had died, the LORD spoke to Nun’s son Joshua, announcing to him, 2 “My servant Moses is dead. Now get ready to cross the Jordan River—you and all the people—to the land that I’m giving the Israelis. 3 I’m giving you every place where the sole of your foot falls, just as I promised Moses. 4 Your territorial border will extend from the wilderness to the Lebanon Mountains, to the river—that great River Euphrates—all the land of the Hittites—as far as the Mediterranean Sea where the sun sets. 5 No one will be victorious against you for the rest of your life. I’ll be with you just like I was with Moses—I’ll neither fail you nor abandon you.
6 “Be strong and courageous, because you’ll be leading this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. 7 Only be strong and very courageous to ensure that you obey all the instructions that my servant Moses gave you—turn neither to the right nor to the left from it—so that you may succeed wherever you go. 8 This set of instructions is not to cease being a part of your conversations. Meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to carry out everything that’s written in it, for then you’ll prosper and succeed. 9 I’ve commanded you, haven’t I? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful or discouraged, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
10 Joshua Gives Orders to His LeadersThen Joshua gave orders to the officials of the people.
LEB(i) 1 After the death of Moses the servant of Yahweh, Yahweh said to Joshua son of Nun, the assistant* of Moses, saying, 2 "My servant Moses is dead. Get up and cross the Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the ⌊Israelites⌋.* 3 Every place that the soles of your feet will tread, I have given it to you, as I promised* to Moses. 4 From the wilderness ⌊and the Lebanon⌋,* up to the great river, the river Euphrates, all of the land of the Hittites, and up to ⌊the great sea in the west⌋,* will be your territory. 5 No one will stand before you* all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not fail you, and I will not forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, for you will give the people this land as an inheritance that I swore to their ancestors* to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous ⌊to observe diligently the whole law⌋* that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn aside from it, to the right or left, so that you may succeed ⌊wherever you go⌋.* 8 The scroll of this law will not depart from your mouth; you will meditate on it day and night so that ⌊you may observe diligently all that is written⌋* in it. For then you will succeed in your ways and prosper. 9 Did I not command you? Be strong and courageous! For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do. 9 Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? 3 Every place that the sole of your* foot will tread upon, to you* I have given it, as I spoke to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even to the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites and to the great sea toward the going down of the sun, will be your* border.
5 There will not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you, nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for you will cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
7 Only be strong and very courageous to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you. Turn not from it, neither to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.
8 This book of the law will not depart out of your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be frightened, neither be dismayed, for Jehovah your God is with you wherever you go.
10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

Et Josué commanda aux officiers du peuple, disant:
