  3 G2076 Is G3756 not G3778 this G5045 the carpenter, G5207 the son G1161 of Mary, G2532 and G80 brother G2385 of James, G2532 and G2499 Joses, G2532 and G2455 Judas, G2532 and G4613 Simon? G2532 and G1526 are G3756 not G846 his G79 sisters G5602 here G4314 with G2248 us? G2532 And G4624 they were offended G1722 in G846 him.
  4 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G3004 said G3754 unto them, G4396 A prophet G2076 is G3756 not G820 without honor, G1487 save G1722 in G846 his own G3968 country, G2532 and G1722 among G846 his own G4773 kin, G2532 and G1722 in G846 his own G3614 house.

  12 G2532 And G1831 they went out, G2784 and preached G2443 that G3340 men should repent.
  13 G2532 And G1544 they cast out G4183 many G1140 demons, G2532 and G218 anointed G1637 with oil G4183 many G732 that were sick, G2532 and G2323 healed them.
  14 G2532 And G935 king G2264 Herod G191 heard G1063 thereof; for G846 his G3686 name G1096 had G5318 become known: G2532 and G3004 he said, G3754   G2491 John G907 the Baptizer G1453 is risen G1537 from G3498 the dead, G2532 and G1223 therefore G1411 do these powers G5124   G1754 work G1722 in G846 him.
  15 G243 But others G3004 said, G3754 It G2076 is G2243 Elijah. G1161 And G243 others G3004 said, G3754 It G2076 is G4396 a prophet, G2228 even G5613 as G1520 one G4396 of the prophets.
  16 G1161 But G2264 Herod, G191 when he heard G3754 thereof, said, G2076   G2076   G2491 John, G3739 whom G1473 I G607 beheaded, G846 he G1453 is risen. G1537   G3498  
  17 G1063 For G2264 Herod G846 himself G649 had sent forth G2902 and laid hold G2491 upon John, G2532 and G1210 bound G846 him G1722 in G5438 prison G1223 for G2266 the sake G846 of Herodias, his G80 brother G5376 Philip's G1135 wife; G3754 for G1060 he had married G846 her.
  18 G1063 For G2491 John G3004 said G3754 unto Herod, G1832 It is G3756 not G1832 lawful G4671 for thee G2192 to have G4675 thy G80 brother's G1135 wife.
  19 G1161 And G2266 Herodias G1758 set herself G846 against him, G2532 and G2309 desired G615 to kill G846 him; G2532 and G1410 she could G3756 not;
  20 G1063 for G2264 Herod G5399 feared G2491 John, G1492 knowing G846 that he G1342 was a righteous G2532 and G40 holy G435 man, G2532 and G4933 kept G846 him G2532 safe. And G191 when he heard G846 him, G4183 he was much G4160 perplexed; G2532 and G191 he heard G846 him G2234 gladly.
  21 G2532 And G3753 when G2121 a convenient G2250 day G1096 was come, G2264 that Herod G846 on his G1077 birthday G4160 made G1173 a supper G846 to his G2532 lords, G5506 and the high captains, G2532 and G4413 the chief G1056 men of Galilee;
  22 G2532 and G2364 when the daughter G2266 of Herodias G846 herself G1525 came in G2532 and G3738 danced, G700 she pleased G2264 Herod G2532 and G3588 them G4873 that sat at meat with him; G2532 and G935 the king G2036 said G2877 unto the damsel, G154 Ask G3165 of me G3739 whatsoever G2309 thou wilt, G2532 and G1437 I G1325 will give G4671 it thee.
  23 G2532 And G3660 he sware G3754 unto her, G3739 Whatsoever G154 thou shalt ask G3165 of me, G1437 I G1325 will give G4671 it thee, G2193 unto G2255 the half G3450 of my G932 kingdom.
  24 G1161 And G1831 she went out, G2036 and said G846 unto her G3384 mother, G5101 What G154 shall I ask? G1161 And G2036 she said, G2776 The head G2491 of John G910 the Baptizer.
  25 G2532 And G1525 she came in G2112 straightway G3326 with G4710 haste G4314 unto G935 the king, G154 and asked, G3004 saying, G2309 I will G2443 that G1824 thou forthwith G1325 give G3427 me G1909 on G4094 a platter G2776 the head G2491 of John G910 the Baptist.
  26 G2532 And G935 the king G1096 was G4036 exceeding sorry; G1223 but for G3727 the sake G2532 of his oaths, and G3588 of them G4873 that sat G2309 at meat, he would G3756 not G114 reject G846 her.
  27 G2532 And G2112 straightway G935 the king G649 sent G4688 forth a soldier G2004 of his guard, and commanded G5342 to bring G846 his G2776 head: G1161 and G565 he went G607 and beheaded G846 him G1722 in G5438 the prison,
  28 G2532 and G5342 brought G846 his G2776 head G1909 on G4094 a platter, G2532 and G1325 gave G846 it G2877 to the damsel; G2532 and G2877 the damsel G1325 gave G846 it G846 to her G3384 mother.
  29 G2532 And G846 when his G3101 disciples G191 heard G2064 thereof, they came G2532 and G142 took up G846 his G4430 corpse, G2532 and G5087 laid G846 it G1722 in G3419 a tomb.
  30 G2532 And G652 the apostles G4863 gather themselves together G4314 unto G2424 Jesus; G2532 and G518 they told G846 him G3956 all things, G3745 whatsoever G4160 they had done, G2532 and G3745 whatsoever G1321 they had taught.

  33 G2532 And G3793 the people G1492 saw G846 them G5217 going, G2532 and G4183 many G1921 knew G846 them, G2532 and G4936 they ran G4905 together G1563 there G3979 on foot G575 from G3956 all G4172 the cities, G2532 and G4281 outwent G846 them.
  34 G2532 And G2424 he G1831 came forth G1492 and saw G4183 a great G3793 multitude, G2532 and G4697 he had compassion G1909 on G846 them, G3754 because G2258 they were G5613 as G4263 sheep G3361 not G2192 having G4166 a shepherd: G2532 and G756 he began G1321 to teach G846 them G4183 many things.
  35 G2532 And G5610 when the day G1096 was G2235 now G4183 far spent, G846 his G3101 disciples G4334 came G846 unto him, G3754 and said, G5117 The place G2076 is G2048 desert, G2532 and G5610 the day G2235 is now G4183 far spent;
  36 G630 send G846 them G630 away, G2443 that G565 they may go G1519 into G68 the country G2532 and G2968 villages G2945 round about, G59 and buy G1438 themselves G740 somewhat G5315 to eat.
  37 G611 But he answered G2036 and said G846 unto them, G1325 Give G5210 ye G846 them G5315 to eat. G2532 And G3004 they say G846 unto him, G565 Shall we go G59 and buy G1250 two hundred G1220 shillings' G740 worth of bread, G2532 and G1325 give G846 them G5315 to eat?
  38 G3004 And he saith G846 unto them, G4214 How many G740 loaves G2192 have ye? G5217 go G2532 and G1492 see. G2532 And G1097 when they knew, G3004 they say, G4002 Five, G2532 and G1417 two G2486 fishes.
  39 G2532 And G2004 he commanded G846 them G3956 that all G347 should G347 sit down G4849 by companies G1909 upon G5515 the green G5528 grass.
  40 G2532 And G377 they sat down G4237 in ranks, G303 by G1540 hundreds, G2532 and G303 by G4004 fifties.
  41 G2532 And G2983 he took G4002 the five G740 loaves G2532 and G1417 the two G2486 fishes, G308 and looking G1519 up to G3772 heaven, G2127 he blessed, G2532 and G2622 brake G740 the loaves; G2532 and G1325 he gave G2443 to G3101 the disciples G2443 to G3908 set before G846 them; G2532 and G1417 the two G2486 fishes G3307 divided he among G3956 them all.
  42 G2532 And G5315 they G3956 all G5315 ate, G2532 and G5526 were filled.
  43 G2532 And G142 they took up G2801 broken pieces, G1427 twelve G2894 basketfuls, G4134   G2532 and G575 also of G2486 the fishes.
  44 G2532 And G3588 they that G5315 ate G740 the loaves G2258 were G4000 five thousand G435 men.
  45 G2532 And G2112 straightway G315 he constrained G846 his G3101 disciples G1519 to enter into G4143 the boat, G2532 and G1519 to G4254 go G4314 before him unto G4008 the other side G4314 to G966 Bethsaida, G2193 while G846 he G3793 himself sendeth the multitude G630 away.
  46 G2532 And G657 after he had taken G657 leave G846 of them, G565 he departed G1519 into G3735 the mountain G4336 to pray.
  47 G2532 And G3798 when even G1096 was come, G4143 the boat G2258 was G1722 in G3319 the midst G2281 of the sea, G2532 and G846 he G3441 alone G1909 on G1093 the land.
  48 G2532 And G1492 seeing G846 them G928 distressed G1722 in G1643 rowing, G1063 for G417 the wind G2258 was G1727 contrary G846 unto them, G2532   G4012 about G5067 the fourth G5438 watch G3571 of the night G2064 he cometh G4314 unto G846 them, G4043 walking G1909 on G2281 the sea; G2532 and G2309 he would have G3928 passed by G846 them:
  49 G1161 but G1492 they, when they saw G846 him G4043 walking G1909 on G2281 the sea, G1380 supposed G1511 that it was G5326 a ghost, G2532 and G349 cried out;
  50 G1063 for G1492 they G3956 all G1492 saw G846 him, G2532 and G5015 were troubled. G2532 But G2112 he straightway G2980 spake G3326 with G846 them, G2532 and G3004 saith G846 unto them, G2293 Be of good cheer: G1510 it is G1473 I; G5399 be G3361 not G5399 afraid.
  51 G2532 And G305 he went up G4314 unto G846 them G1519 into G4143 the boat; G2532 and G417 the wind G2869 ceased: G2532 and G3029 they were sore G1839 amazed G1722 in G1438 themselves;
  52 G1063 for G4920 they understood G3756 not G1909 concerning the G740 loaves, G1063 but G846 their G2588 heart G2258 was G4456 hardened.
  53 G2532 And G1276 when they had crossed over, G2064 they came G1909 to G1093 the land G1082 unto Gennesaret, G2532 and G4358 moored to the shore.
  54 G2532 And G846 when they G1831 were come out G1537 of G4143 the boat, G2112 straightway G1921 the people knew G846 him,
  55 G4063 and ran round G4066 about G1565 that G3650 whole G756 region, and began G4064 to carry about G1909 on G2895 their beds G3588 those that G2192 were G2560 sick, G3699 where G191 they heard G3754 he G1563 was.
  56 G2532 And G3699 wheresoever G302   G1531 he entered, G1519 into G2968 villages, G2228 or G4172 into cities, G2228 or G68 into the country, G5087 they laid G770 the sick G1722 in G58 the marketplaces, G2532 and G3870 besought G846 him G2443 that G680 they might touch G2579 if it were but G2899 the border G846 of his G2440 garment: G2532 and G3745 as many as G302   G680 touched G846 him G4982 were made whole.
