  2 G2532 and G1492 had seen G5124 that G5100 some G3101 of G846 his G3101 disciples G2068 ate G740 their bread G5495 with G2839 defiled, G5124 that G2076 is, G449 unwashen, G5495 hands.
  3 G1063 (For G5330 the Pharisees, G2532 and G3956 all G2453 the Jews, G1437 except G3538 they wash G5495 their hands G4435 diligently, G2068 eat G3756 not, G2902 holding G3862 the tradition G4245 of the elders;
  4 G2532 and G575 when they come from G58 the marketplace, G3362 except G3361   G907 they bathe G2068 themselves, they eat G3756 not; G2532 and G4183 many G243 other things G2076 there are, G3739 which G3880 they have received G2902 to hold, G909 washings G4221 of cups, G2532 and G3582 pots, G2532 and G5473 brasen vessels.)
  5 G2532 And G5330 the Pharisees G2532 and G1122 the scribes G1905 ask G1223 him, G5101 Why G4043 walk G3756 not G4675 thy G3101 disciples G2596 according to G3862 the tradition G4245 of the elders, G235 but G2068 eat G740 their bread G5495 with G449 defiled G5495 hands?
  6 G1161 And G611 he G2036 said G3754 unto them, G2573 Well G4395 did G2268 Isaiah G4395 prophesy G4012 of G5216 you G5273 hypocrites, G5613 as G1125 it is written, G3778 This G2992 people G5091 honoreth G3165 me G5491 with G5491 their lips, G1161 But G846 their G2588 heart G568 is G4206 far G575 from G1700 me.
  7 G1161 But G3155 in vain G4576 do they worship G3165 me, G1321 Teaching G1319 as their doctrines G1778 the precepts G444 of men.

  19 G3754 because G1531 it goeth G3756 not G1519 into G846 his G2588 heart, G235 but G1519 into G2836 his belly, G2532 and G1607 goeth out G1519 into G856 the draught? G2511 This he said, making G3956 all G1033 meats clean.
  20 G1161 And G3754 he said, G1607 That which proceedeth out G1537 of G444 the man, G1565 that G2840 defileth G444 the man.
  21 G1063 For G2081 from within, G1537 out G2588 of the heart G444 of men, G2556 evil G1261 thoughts G1607 proceed, G4202 fornications, G2829 thefts, G5408 murders, G3430 adulteries,
  22 G4124 covetings, G4189 wickednesses, G1388 deceit, G766 lasciviousness, G3788 an G4189 evil G3788 eye, G988 railing, G5243 pride, G877 foolishness:
  23 G3956 all G5023 these G4190 evil things G1607 proceed G2081 from within, G2532 and G2840 defile G444 the man.
  24 G2532 And G1564 from thence G450 he arose, G565 and went G1519 away into G3181 the borders G5184 of Tyre G2532 and G4605 Sidon. G2532 And G1525 he entered G1519 into G3614 a house, G2309 and would have G3762 no man G1097 know G2532 it; and G1410 he could G3756 not G2990 be hid.
  25 G1063 But G1135 straightway a G1135 woman, G3739 whose G2365 little daughter G2192 had G4151 an G169 unclean G4151 spirit, G2192 having G191 heard G4012 of G846 him, G2064 came G4363 and fell G4314 down at G846 his G4228 feet.
  26 G1135 Now the woman G2258 was G1674 a Greek, G4949 a Syrophoenician G1085 by race. G2532 And G2065 she besought G846 him G2443 that G1544 he would cast forth G1140 the demon G1537 out G2364 of G846 her G2364 daughter.
  27 G1161 And G2424 he G2036 said G846 unto her, G863 Let G5043 the children G4412 first G5526 be filled: G1063 for G2076 it is G3756 not G2570 meet G2983 to take G5043 the children's G740 bread G2532 and G906 cast G2952 it to the dogs.
  28 G1161 But G611 she answered G2532 and G3004 saith G846 unto him, G3483 Yea, G2532 Lord; G1063 even G2952 the dogs G5270 under G5132 the table G2068 eat G575 of G3813 the children's G5589 crumbs.

  30 G2532 And G565 she went G1519 away unto G846 her G3624 house, G2532 and G2147 found G906 the child laid G1909 upon G2825 the bed, G2532 and G1140 the demon G1831 gone out.
  31 G2532 And G3825 again G1831 he went G1537 out from G3725 the borders G5184 of Tyre, G2532 and G2064 came G4605 through Sidon G4314 unto G2281 the sea G1056 of Galilee, G303 through G3319 the midst G3725 of the borders G1179 of Decapolis.
  32 G2532 And G5342 they bring G846 unto him G2974 one that was deaf, G3424 and had an impediment in his speech; G2532 and G3870 they beseech G846 him G2443 to G2007 lay G5495 his hand G2007 upon G846 him.
  33 G2532 And G618 he took G846 him G2596 aside G2398   G575 from G3793 the multitude G906 privately, and put G846 his G1147 fingers G1519 into G846 his G3775 ears, G2532 and G4429 he spat, G680 and touched G846 his G1100 tongue;
  34 G2532 and G308 looking up G1519 to G3772 heaven, G4727 he sighed, G2532 and G3004 saith G846 unto him, G2188 Ephphatha, G3739 that G2076 is, G1272 Be opened.
  35 G2532 And G2112   G846 his G189 ears G1272 were opened, G2532 and G1199 the bond G1100 of G846 his G1100 tongue G3089 was loosed, G2532 and G2980 he spake G3723 plain.
  36 G2532 And G1291 he charged G846 them G2443 that G2036 they should tell G3367 no man: G1161 but G3745 the more G846 he G1291 charged G846 them, G3123 so much the more G4054 a great deal G2784 they published it.
  37 G2532 And G1605 they were G5249 beyond measure G1605 astonished, G3004 saying, G4160 He hath done G3956 all things G2573 well; G4160 he maketh G2532 even G2974 the deaf G191 to hear, G2532 and G216 the dumb G2980 to speak.
