18 H1263 Then Baruch H559 answered [H8799] H7121 them, He pronounced [H8799] H1697 all these words H6310 unto me with his mouth H3789 , and I wrote [H8802] H1773 them with ink H5612 in the book.

19 H559 Then said [H8799] H8269 the princes H1263 unto Baruch H3212 , Go [H8798] H5641 , hide [H8734] H3414 thee, thou and Jeremiah H376 ; and let no man H3045 know [H8799] H375 where ye be.

22 H4428 Now the king H3427 sat [H8802] H1004 in the winterhouse H2779 H8671 in the ninth H2320 month H254 : and there was a fire on the hearth H1197 burning [H8794] H6440 before him.

23 H3065 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi H7121 had read [H8800] H7969 three H702 or four H1817 leaves H7167 , he cut [H8799] H8593 it with the penknife H5608 [H8802] H7993 , and cast [H8687] H784 it into the fire H254 that was on the hearth H4039 , until all the roll H8552 was consumed [H8800] H784 in the fire H254 that was on the hearth.

28 H3947 Take [H8798] H7725 thee again [H8798] H312 another H4039 roll H3789 , and write [H8798] H7223 in it all the former H1697 words H7223 that were in the first H4039 roll H3079 , which Jehoiakim H4428 the king H3063 of Judah H8313 hath burned [H8804] .

29 H559 And thou shalt say [H8799] H3079 to Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H8313 ; Thou hast burned [H8804] H4039 this roll H559 , saying [H8800] H3789 , Why hast thou written [H8804] H559 therein, saying [H8800] H4428 , The king H894 of Babylon H935 shall certainly [H8800] H935 come [H8799] H7843 and destroy [H8689] H776 this land H7673 , and shall cause to cease [H8689] H120 from thence man H929 and beast?

30 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H3079 of Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H3427 ; He shall have none to sit [H8802] H3678 upon the throne H1732 of David H5038 : and his dead body H7993 shall be cast out [H8716] H3117 in the day H2721 to the heat H3915 , and in the night H7140 to the frost.
