HOT(i) 21 ויקרא משׁה לכל זקני ישׂראל ויאמר אלהם משׁכו וקחו לכם צאן למשׁפחתיכם ושׁחטו הפסח׃ 22 ולקחתם אגדת אזוב וטבלתם בדם אשׁר בסף והגעתם אל המשׁקוף ואל שׁתי המזוזת מן הדם אשׁר בסף ואתם לא תצאו אישׁ מפתח ביתו עד בקר׃ 23 ועבר יהוה לנגף את מצרים וראה את הדם על המשׁקוף ועל שׁתי המזוזת ופסח יהוה על הפתח ולא יתן המשׁחית לבא אל בתיכם לנגף׃ 24 ושׁמרתם את הדבר הזה לחק לך ולבניך עד עולם׃ 25 והיה כי תבאו אל הארץ אשׁר יתן יהוה לכם כאשׁר דבר ושׁמרתם את העבדה הזאת׃ 26 והיה כי יאמרו אליכם בניכם מה העבדה הזאת׃ 27 ואמרתם זבח פסח הוא ליהוה אשׁר פסח על בתי בני ישׂראל במצרים בנגפו את מצרים ואת בתינו הציל ויקד העם וישׁתחוו׃ 28 וילכו ויעשׂו בני ישׂראל כאשׁר צוה יהוה את משׁה ואהרן כן עשׂו׃ 29 ויהי בחצי הלילה ויהוה הכה כל בכור בארץ מצרים מבכר פרעה הישׁב על כסאו עד בכור השׁבי אשׁר בבית הבור וכל בכור בהמה׃ 30 ויקם פרעה לילה הוא וכל עבדיו וכל מצרים ותהי צעקה גדלה במצרים כי אין בית אשׁר אין שׁם מת׃

  22 H3947 ולקחתם And ye shall take H92 אגדת a bunch H231 אזוב of hyssop, H2881 וטבלתם and dip H1818 בדם in the blood H834 אשׁר that H5592 בסף in the basin, H5060 והגעתם and strike H413 אל and strike H4947 המשׁקוף the lintel H413 ואל   H8147 שׁתי and the two H4201 המזוזת side posts H4480 מן with H1818 הדם the blood H834 אשׁר that H5592 בסף in the basin; H859 ואתם of you H3808 לא and none H3318 תצאו shall go out H376 אישׁ and none H6607 מפתח at the door H1004 ביתו of his house H5704 עד until H1242 בקר׃ the morning.
  23 H5674 ועבר will pass through H3068 יהוה For the LORD H5062 לנגף to smite H853 את   H4713 מצרים   H7200 וראה and when he seeth H853 את   H1818 הדם the blood H5921 על upon H4947 המשׁקוף the lintel, H5921 ועל and on H8147 שׁתי the two H4201 המזוזת side posts, H6452 ופסח will pass H3068 יהוה the LORD H5921 על over H6607 הפתח the door, H3808 ולא and will not H5414 יתן suffer H7843 המשׁחית the destroyer H935 לבא to come in H413 אל unto H1004 בתיכם your houses H5062 לנגף׃ to smite
  24 H8104 ושׁמרתם And ye shall observe H853 את   H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה this H2706 לחק for an ordinance H1121 לך ולבניך to thee and to thy sons H5704 עד forever. H5769 עולם׃ forever.
  25 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H935 תבאו ye be come H413 אל to H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 יתן will give H3068 יהוה the LORD H834 לכם כאשׁר you, according as H1696 דבר he hath promised, H8104 ושׁמרתם that ye shall keep H853 את   H5656 העבדה service. H2063 הזאת׃ this
  26 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H559 יאמרו shall say H413 אליכם unto H1121 בניכם your children H4100 מה you, What H5656 העבדה service? H2063 הזאת׃ mean ye by this
  27 H559 ואמרתם That ye shall say, H2077 זבח the sacrifice H6453 פסח passover, H1931 הוא It H3068 ליהוה of the LORD's H834 אשׁר who H6452 פסח passed H5921 על over H1004 בתי the houses H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4714 במצרים in Egypt, H5062 בנגפו when he smote H853 את   H4713 מצרים   H853 ואת   H1004 בתינו our houses. H5337 הציל and delivered H6915 ויקד bowed the head H5971 העם And the people H7812 וישׁתחוו׃ and worshiped.
  28 H1980 וילכו went away, H6213 ויעשׂו and did H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה had commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron, H3651 כן so H6213 עשׂו׃ did
  29 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H2677 בחצי that at midnight H3915 הלילה that at midnight H3068 ויהוה the LORD H5221 הכה smote H3605 כל all H1060 בכור the firstborn H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1060 מבכר from the firstborn H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H3427 הישׁב that sat H5921 על on H3678 כסאו his throne H5704 עד unto H1060 בכור the firstborn H7628 השׁבי of the captive H834 אשׁר that H1004 בבית in the dungeon; H953 הבור in the dungeon; H3605 וכל and all H1060 בכור the firstborn H929 בהמה׃ of cattle.
  30 H6965 ויקם rose up H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H3915 לילה in the night, H1931 הוא he, H3605 וכל and all H5650 עבדיו his servants, H3605 וכל and all H4713 מצרים   H1961 ותהי and there was H6818 צעקה cry H1419 גדלה a great H4714 במצרים the Egyptians; H3588 כי for H369 אין not H1004 בית a house H834 אשׁר where H369 אין not H8033 שׁם where H4191 מת׃ one dead.

  23 H3068 For the LORD H5674 [H8804] will pass through H5062 [H8800] to smite H4714 the Egyptians; H7200 [H8804] and when he seeth H1818 the blood H4947 upon the lintel, H8147 and on the two H4201 side posts, H3068 the LORD H6452 [H8804] will pass over H6607 the door, H5414 [H8799] and will not permit H7843 [H8688] the decayer H935 [H8800] to come H1004 in to your houses H5062 [H8800] to smite you.
  24 H8104 [H8804] And ye shall observe H1697 this thing H2706 for an statute H1121 to thee and to thy sons H5704 for H5769 ever.
  25 H935 [H8799] And it shall come to pass, when ye shall have come H776 to the land H3068 which the LORD H5414 [H8799] will give H1696 [H8765] you, according as he hath promised, H8104 [H8804] that ye shall keep H5656 this service.
  26 H1121 And it shall come to pass, when your sons H559 [H8799] shall say H5656 to you, What mean you by this service?
