  3 H1696 [H8761] Speak H5712 ye to all the congregation H3478 of Israel H559 [H8800] , saying H6218 , In the tenth H2320 day of this month H3947 [H8799] they shall take H376 to them every man H7716 a lamb H1004 , according to the house H1 of their fathers H7716 , a lamb H1004 for an house:
  4 H1004 And if the household H1961 [H8800] shall be H4591 [H8799] too small H7716 for the lamb H7934 , let him and his neighbour H7138 next H1004 to his house H3947 [H8804] take H4373 it according to the number H5315 of the souls H376 ; every man H6310 according H400 to his eating H3699 [H8799] shall make your count H7716 for the lamb.
  5 H7716 Your lamb H8549 shall be without blemish H2145 , a male H1121 of the first H8141 year H3947 [H8799] : ye shall take H3532 it from the sheep H5795 , or from the goats:
  6 H4931 And ye shall keep H702 H6240 it until the fourteenth H3117 day H2320 of the same month H3605 : and the whole H6951 assembly H5712 of the congregation H3478 of Israel H7819 [H8804] shall kill H996 it in H6153 the evening.
  7 H3947 [H8804] And they shall take H1818 of the blood H5414 [H8804] , and strike H8147 it on the two H4201 side posts H4947 and on the upper door post H1004 of the houses H398 [H8799] , in which they shall eat it.
  8 H398 [H8804] And they shall eat H1320 the flesh H3915 in that night H6748 , roasted H784 with fire H4682 , and unleavened bread H4844 ; and with bitter H398 [H8799] herbs they shall eat it.
  9 H398 [H8799] Eat H4995 not of it raw H1310 H1311 [H8794] , nor boiled H4325 at all with water H6748 , but roasted H784 with fire H7218 ; its head H3767 with its legs H7130 , and with its inward parts.

  13 H1818 And the blood H226 shall be to you for a token H1004 upon the houses H7200 [H8804] where ye are: and when I see H1818 the blood H6452 [H8804] , I will pass H5063 over you, and the plague H4889 shall not be upon you to destroy H5221 [H8687] you, when I smite H776 the land H4714 of Egypt.
  14 H3117 And this day H2146 shall be to you for a memorial H2287 [H8804] ; and ye shall keep H2282 it a feast H3068 to the LORD H1755 throughout your generations H2287 [H8799] ; ye shall keep it a feast H2708 by an ordinance H5769 for ever.
  15 H7651 Seven H3117 days H398 [H8799] shall ye eat H4682 unleavened bread H389 ; even H7223 the first H3117 day H7673 [H8686] ye shall put away H7603 leaven H1004 out of your houses H398 [H8802] : for whoever eateth H2557 leavened bread H7223 from the first H3117 day H7637 till the seventh H3117 day H5315 , that soul H3772 [H8738] shall be cut H3478 off from Israel.
  16 H7223 And in the first H3117 day H6944 there shall be an holy H4744 convocation H7637 , and in the seventh H3117 day H6944 there shall be an holy H4744 convocation H4399 to you; no manner of work H6213 [H8735] shall be done H389 in them, except H5315 what every man H398 [H8735] must eat H6213 [H8735] , that only may be done by you.
  17 H8104 [H8804] And ye shall observe H4682 the feast of unleavened bread H6106 ; for in this same H3117 day H3318 [H8689] have I brought H6635 your armies H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H8104 [H8804] : therefore shall ye observe H3117 this day H1755 in your generations H2708 by an ordinance H5769 for ever.
  18 H7223 In the first H6240 H702 month, on the fourteenth H3117 day H2320 of the month H6153 at evening H398 [H8799] , ye shall eat H4682 unleavened bread H259 , till the one H6242 and twentieth H3117 day H2320 of the month H6153 at evening.
  19 H7651 Seven H3117 days H7603 shall there be no leaven H4672 [H8735] found H1004 in your houses H398 [H8802] : for whoever eateth H2556 [H8688] that which is leavened H5315 , even that soul H3772 [H8738] shall be cut off H5712 from the congregation H3478 of Israel H1616 , whether he shall be a stranger H249 , or born H776 in the land.
  20 H398 [H8799] Ye shall eat H2556 [H8688] nothing leavened H4186 ; in all your habitations H398 [H8799] shall ye eat H4682 unleavened bread.
  21 H4872 Then Moses H7121 [H8799] called H2205 for all the elders H3478 of Israel H559 [H8799] , and said H4900 [H8798] to them, Draw out H3947 [H8798] and take H6629 for yourselves a lamb H4940 according to your families H7819 [H8798] , and kill H6453 the passover.
  22 H3947 [H8804] And ye shall take H92 a bunch H231 of hyssop H2881 [H8804] , and dip H1818 it in the blood H5592 that is in the basin H5060 [H8689] , and strike H4947 the lintel H8147 and the two H4201 side posts H1818 with the blood H5592 that is in the basin H376 ; and none H3318 [H8799] of you shall go out H6607 at the door H1004 of his house H1242 till the morning.
  23 H3068 For the LORD H5674 [H8804] will pass through H5062 [H8800] to smite H4714 the Egyptians H7200 [H8804] ; and when he seeth H1818 the blood H4947 upon the lintel H8147 , and on the two H4201 side posts H3068 , the LORD H6452 [H8804] will pass over H6607 the door H5414 [H8799] , and will not permit H7843 [H8688] the destroyer H935 [H8800] to come H1004 in to your houses H5062 [H8800] to smite you.
  24 H8104 [H8804] And ye shall observe H1697 this thing H2706 for an ordinance H1121 to thee and to thy sons H5704 for H5769 ever.
  25 H935 [H8799] And it shall come to pass, when ye shall have come H776 to the land H3068 which the LORD H5414 [H8799] will give H1696 [H8765] you, according as he hath promised H8104 [H8804] , that ye shall keep H5656 this service.
  26 H1121 And it shall come to pass, when your children H559 [H8799] shall say H5656 to you, What mean you by this service?
  27 H559 [H8804] That ye shall say H2077 , It is the sacrifice H3068 of the LORD'S H6453 passover H6452 [H8804] , who passed H1004 over the houses H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H4714 in Egypt H5062 [H8800] , when he smote H4714 the Egyptians H5337 [H8689] , and delivered H1004 our houses H5971 . And the people H6915 [H8799] bowed the head H7812 [H8691] and worshipped.
  28 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H3212 [H8799] went away H6213 [H8799] , and did H3068 as the LORD H6680 [H8765] had commanded H4872 Moses H175 and Aaron H6213 [H8804] , so did they.
  29 H2677 H3915 And it came to pass, that at midnight H3068 the LORD H5221 [H8689] smote H1060 all the firstborn H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H1060 , from the firstborn H6547 of Pharaoh H3427 [H8802] that sat H3678 on his throne H1060 to the firstborn H7628 of the captive H1004 H953 that was in the dungeon H1060 ; and all the firstborn H929 of cattle.
  30 H6547 And Pharaoh H6965 [H8799] rose H3915 in the night H5650 , he, and all his servants H4714 , and all the Egyptians H1419 ; and there was a great H6818 cry H4714 in Egypt H1004 ; for there was not a house H4191 [H8801] where there was not one dead.
  31 H7121 [H8799] And he called H4872 for Moses H175 and Aaron H3915 by night H559 [H8799] , and said H6965 [H8798] , Arise H3318 [H8798] , and depart H8432 from among H5971 my people H1121 , both ye and the children H3478 of Israel H3212 [H8798] ; and go H5647 [H8798] , serve H3068 the LORD H1696 [H8763] , as ye have said.
  32 H3947 [H8798] Also take H6629 your flocks H1241 and your herds H1696 [H8765] , as ye have said H3212 [H8798] , and be gone H1288 [H8765] ; and bless me also.
  33 H4714 And the Egyptians H2388 [H8799] were urgent H5971 upon the people H7971 [H8763] , that they might send H776 them out of the land H4116 [H8763] in haste H559 [H8804] ; for they said H4191 [H8801] , We are all dead men.
  34 H5971 And the people H5375 [H8799] took H1217 their dough H2556 [H8799] before it was leavened H4863 , their kneadingtroughs H6887 [H8803] being bound up H8071 in their clothes H7926 upon their shoulders.
  35 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H6213 [H8804] did H1697 according to the word H4872 of Moses H7592 [H8799] ; and they asked H4714 of the Egyptians H3627 jewels H3701 of silver H3627 , and jewels H2091 of gold H8071 , and raiment:
  36 H3068 And the LORD H5414 [H8804] gave H5971 the people H2580 favour H5869 in the sight H4714 of the Egyptians H7592 [H8686] , so that they gave H5337 [H8762] to them such things as they requested. And they plundered H4714 the Egyptians.
  37 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H5265 [H8799] journeyed H7486 from Rameses H5523 to Succoth H8337 , about six H3967 hundred H505 thousand H7273 on foot H1397 that were men H905 , besides H2945 children.
  38 H6154 And a mixed H7227 multitude H5927 [H8804] went up H6629 also with them; and flocks H1241 , and herds H3966 , even very H3515 many H4735 cattle.
  39 H644 [H8799] And they baked H4682 unleavened H5692 cakes H1217 of the dough H3318 [H8689] which they brought H4714 from Egypt H2556 [H8804] , for it was not leavened H1644 [H8795] ; because they were driven H4714 from Egypt H3201 [H8804] , and could H4102 [H8699] not tarry H6213 [H8804] , neither had they prepared H6720 for themselves any food.
  40 H4186 Now the sojourning H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H3427 [H8804] , who dwelt H4714 in Egypt H702 , was four H3967 H8141 hundred H7970 and thirty H8141 years.
  41 H7093 And it came to pass at the end H702 of the four H3967 H8141 hundred H7970 and thirty H8141 years H6106 , even the same H3117 day H6635 it came to pass, that all the hosts H3068 of the LORD H3318 [H8804] departed H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt.
  42 H3915 It is a night H8107 to be much observed H3068 to the LORD H3318 [H8687] for bringing H776 them out from the land H4714 of Egypt H3915 : this is that night H3068 of the LORD H8107 to be observed H1121 by all the children H3478 of Israel H1755 in their generations.
  43 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H175 and Aaron H2708 , This is the ordinance H6453 of the passover H1121 H5236 : There shall no stranger H398 [H8799] eat of it:
  44 H376 But every man's H5650 servant H4736 that is bought H3701 for money H4135 [H8804] , when thou hast circumcised H398 [H8799] him, then shall he eat of it.
  45 H8453 A foreigner H7916 and an hired servant H398 [H8799] shall not eat of it.
  46 H259 In one H1004 house H398 [H8735] shall it be eaten H3318 [H8686] ; thou shalt not carry H1320 any of the flesh H2351 abroad H1004 out of the house H7665 [H8799] ; neither shall ye break H6106 a bone of it.
  47 H5712 All the congregation H3478 of Israel H6213 [H8799] shall keep it.
  48 H1616 And when a stranger H1481 [H8799] shall sojourn H6213 [H8804] with thee, and will keep H6453 the passover H3068 to the LORD H2145 , let all his males H4135 [H8736] be circumcised H7126 [H8799] , and then let him come near H6213 [H8800] and keep H249 it; and he shall be as one that is born H776 in the land H6189 : for no uncircumcised person H398 [H8799] shall eat of it.
  49 H259 One H8451 law H249 shall be to him that is homeborn H1616 , and to the stranger H1481 [H8802] that sojourneth H8432 among you.
  50 H6213 [H8799] Thus did H1121 all the children H3478 of Israel H3068 ; as the LORD H6680 [H8765] commanded H4872 Moses H175 and Aaron H6213 [H8804] , so did they.
  51 H6106 And it came to pass the same H3117 day H3068 , that the LORD H3318 [H8689] brought H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H6635 by their armies.
