Jeremiah 49 Concerning the Ammonites, thus says the Lord; Has Israel no sons? has he no heir? why then does their king inherit Gad, and his people live in his cities?

2 H3117 Therefore, behold, the days H935 come, H559 says H3068 the Lord, H8643 that I will cause a alarm H4421 of war H8085 to be heard H7237 in Rabbah H1121 of the Ammonites; H8077 and it shall be a desolate H8510 heap, H1323 and her daughters H3341 shall be burned H784 with fire: H3478 then shall Israel H3423 be heir H3423 unto them that were his heirs, H5002 says H3068 the Lord.

31 H6965 Arise, H5927 get up H7961 unto the wealthy H1471 nation, H3427 that dwells H983 without care, H5002 says H3068 the Lord, H1817 which have neither gates H1280 nor bars, H7931 which live H910 alone.

32 H1581 And their camels H957 shall be a booty, H1995 and the multitude H4735 of their cattle H7998 a plunder: H2219 and I will scatter H7307 into all winds H7112 them that are in the farthest H6285 corners; H935 and I will bring H343 their calamity H5676 from all sides H5002 there, says H3068 the Lord.

33 H2674 And Hazor H4583 shall be a living H8577 for dragons, H8077 and a desolation H5704 for H5769 ever: H376 there shall no man H3427 stay H1121 there, nor any son H120 of man H1481 live in it.

37 H5867 For I will cause Elam H2865 to be dismayed H6440 before H341 their enemies, H6440 and before H1245 them that seek H5315 their life: H935 and I will bring H7451 evil H2740 upon them, even my fierce H639 anger, H5002 says H3068 the Lord; H7971 and I will send H2719 the sword H310 after H3615 them, until I have consumed them:

38 H7760 And I will set H3678 my throne H5867 in Elam, H6 and will destroy H4428 from there the king H8269 and the princes, H5002 says H3068 the Lord.

39 H319 But it shall come to pass in the latter H3117 days, H7725 that I will bring again H7622 the captivity H5867 of Elam, H5002 says H3068 the Lord.
