  27:1   4405-1161 πρωϊας δε And the morning 1096 γενομένης having become, 4824 συμβούλιον [⁵council 2983 έλαβον ⁴took 3956 πάντες ¹all 3588 οι ²the 749 αρχιερείς ³chief priests], 2532 και and 3588 οι the 4245 πρεσβύτεροι elders 3588 του of the 2992 λαού people 2596 κατά against 3588 του   * Ιησού Jesus, 5620 ωστε so as 2289-1473 θανατώσαι αυτόν to put him to death.   27:2   2532 και And 1210 δήσαντες having bound 1473 αυτόν him, 520 απήγαγον they took 2532 και and 3860-1473 παρέδωκαν αυτόν delivered him up * Ποντίω to Pontius * Πιλάτω Pilate, 3588 τω to the 2232 ηγεμόνι governor.   27:3   5119 τότε Then 1492 ιδών [⁴beholding * Ιούδας ¹Judas 3588 ο ²the one 3860-1473 παραδιδούς αυτόν ³delivering him up], 3754 ότι that 2632 κατεκρίθη he was condemned, 3338 μεταμεληθείς changed his mind 654 απέστρεψε so as to return 3588 τα the 5144 τριάκοντα thirty 694 αργύρια silver pieces 3588 τοις to the 749 αρχιερεύσι chief priests 2532 και and 3588 τοις to the 4245 πρεσβυτέροις elders,   27:4   3004 λέγων saying, 264 ήμαρτον I sinned, 3860 παραδούς having delivered up 129 αίμα [²blood 121 αθώον ¹innocent]. 3588-1161 οι δε But they 2036 είπον said, 5100 τι What is that 4314 προς to 1473 ημάς us? 1473 συ You 3708 όψει shall see to that.   27:5   2532 και And 4495 ρίψας having tossed 3588 τα the 694 αργύρια silver pieces 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 3485 ναώ temple, 402 ανεχώρησε he withdrew. 2532 και And 565 απελθών having gone forth 519 απήγξατο he hung himself.   27:6   3588-1161 οι δε But the 749 αρχιερείς chief priests 2983 λαβόντες having taken 3588 τα the 694 αργύρια silver pieces, 2036 είπον said, 3756-1832 ουκ έξεστι It is not allowed 906 βαλείν to throw 1473 αυτά them 1519 εις into 3588 τον the 2878 κορβανάν offering 1893 επεί when 5092 τιμή [²the value 129 αίματός ³for blood 1510.2.3 εστι ¹it is].   27:7   4824 συμβούλιον [³council 1161 δε ¹And 2983 λαβόντες ²taking], 59 ηγόρασαν they bought 1537 εξ with 1473 αυτών them 3588 τον the 68 αγρόν field 3588 του of the 2763 κεραμέως potter 1519 εις for 5027 ταφήν a burial ground 3588 τοις   3581 ξένοις for strangers.   27:8   1352 διό Therefore 2564 εκλήθη [²is called 3588 ο   68-1565 αγρός εκείνος ¹that field], 68 αγρός Field 129 αίματος of blood, 2193 έως until 3588 της   4594 σήμερον today.   27:9   5119 τότε Then 4137 επληρώθη was fulfilled 3588 το the thing 4483 ρηθέν having been spoken 1223 διά through * Ιερεμίου Jeremiah 3588 του the 4396 προφήτου prophet, 3004 λέγοντος saying, 2532 και And 2983 έλαβον I took 3588 τα the 5144 τριάκοντα thirty 694 αργύρια silver pieces, 3588 την the 5092 τιμήν value 3588 του of the one 5091 τετιμημένου being valued, 3739 ον the one who 5091 ετιμήσαντο was valued 575 από by 5207 υιών the sons * Ισραήλ of Israel.   27:10   2532 και And 1325 έδωκαν they gave 1473 αυτά them 1519 εις for 3588 τον the 68 αγρόν field 3588 του of the 2763 κεραμέως potter 2505 καθά as 4929 συνέταξέ [²gave orders 1473 μοι ³to me 2962 κύριος ¹the Lord].   27:11   3588 ο   1161 δε And * Ιησούς Jesus 2476 έστη stood 1715 έμπροσθεν before 3588 του the 2232 ηγεμόνος governor. 2532 και And 1905 επηρώτησεν [³asked 1473 αυτόν ⁴him 3588 ο ¹the 2232 ηγεμών ²governor], 3004 λέγων saying, 1473-1510.2.2 συ ει Are you 3588 ο the 935 βασιλεύς king 3588 των of the * Ιουδαίων Jews? 3588 ο   1161 δε And * Ιησούς Jesus 5346 έφη said 1473 αυτώ to him, 1473 συ You 3004 λέγεις say it.   27:12   2532 και And 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 2723 κατηγορείσθαι charging 1473 αυτόν him 5259 υπό by 3588 των the 749 αρχιερέων chief priests 2532 και and 3588 των the 4245 πρεσβυτέρων elders, 3762 ουδέν [²nothing 611 απεκρίνατο ¹he answered].   27:13   5119 τότε Then 3004 λέγει [²says 1473 αυτώ ³to him 3588 ο   * Πιλάτος ¹Pilate], 3756 ουκ Do you not 191 ακούεις hear 4214 πόσα how much 1473-2649 σου καταμαρτυρούσιν they witness against you?   27:14   2532 και And 3756 ουκ he did not 611 απεκρίθη answer 1473 αυτώ to him 4314 προς to 3761 ουδέ not even 1520 εν one 4487 ρήμα word; 4183 πολλά [³much 1063 γαρ ¹for 3958 έπαθον ²I suffered] 4594 σήμερον today 2596 κατ΄ by 3677 όναρ a dream 1223 δι΄ concerning 1473 αυτόν him.   27:20   3588-1161 οι δε But the 749 αρχιερείς chief priests 2532 και and 3588 οι the 4245 πρεσβύτεροι elders 3982 έπεισαν persuaded 3588 τους the 3793 όχλους multitudes 2443 ίνα that 154 αιτήσωνται they should ask for 3588 τον   * Βαραββάν Barabbas, 3588-1161 τον δε and * Ιησούν Jesus 622 απολέσωσιν should perish.   27:21   611-1161 αποκριθείς δε And responding 3588 ο the 2232 ηγεμών governor 2036 είπεν said 1473 αυτοίς to them, 5100 τίνα Who 2309 θέλετε do you want 575 από from 3588 των the 1417 δύο two 630 απολύσω I should release 1473 υμίν to you? 3588-1161 οι δε And they 2036 είπον said, * Βαραββάν Barabbas.   27:22   3004 λέγει [²says 1473 αυτοίς ³to them 3588 ο   * Πιλάτος ¹Pilate], 5100 τι What 3767 ουν then 4160 ποιήσω shall I do with * Ιησούν Jesus 3588 τον the one 3004 λεγόμενον being called 5547 Χριστόν Christ? 3004 λέγουσιν [²say 1473 αυτώ ³to him 3956 πάντες ¹all], 4717 σταυρωθήτω Let him be crucified!   27:23   3588-1161 ο δε And the 2232 ηγεμών governor 5346 έφη said, 5100-1063 τι γαρ For what 2556 κακόν evil 4160 εποίησεν did he do? 3588-1161 οι δε And they 4057 περισσώς extremely more 2896 έκραζον cried out, 3004 λέγοντες saying, 4717 σταυρωθήτω Let him be crucified!   27:24   1492 ιδών [³seeing 1161 δε ¹And 3588 ο   * Πιλάτος ²Pilate] 3754 ότι that 3762 ουδέν in nothing 5623 ωφελεί he derived benefit, 235 αλλά but 3123 μάλλον rather 2351 θόρυβος [²a tumult 1096 γίνεται ¹it became], 2983 λαβών having taken 5204 ύδωρ water, 633 απενίψατο he washed 3588 τας his 5495 χείρας hands 561 απέναντι before 3588 του the 3793 όχλου multitude, 3004 λέγων saying, 121-1510.2.1 αθώός ειμι I am innocent 575 από of 3588 του the 129 αίματος blood 3588 του   1342-3778 δικαίου τούτου of this just one; 1473 υμείς you 3708 όψεσθε shall see to it.   27:25   2532 και And 611 αποκριθείς responding 3956 πας all 3588 ο the 2992 λαός people 2036 είπε said, 3588 το   129-1473 αίμα αυτού His blood 1909 εφ΄ is upon 1473 ημάς us 2532 και and 1909 επί upon 3588 τα   5043-1473 τέκνα ημών our children.   27:26   5119 τότε Then 630 απέλυσεν he released 1473 αυτοίς to them 3588 τον   * Βαραββάν Barabbas. 3588 τον   1161 δε And *-5417 Ιησούν φραγελλώσας scourging Jesus, 3860 παρέδωκεν he delivered him up 2443 ίνα that 4717 σταυρωθή he should be crucified.   27:27   5119 τότε Then 3588 οι the 4757 στρατιώται soldiers 3588 του of the 2232 ηγεμόνος governor, 3880 παραλαβόντες having taken with them 3588 τον   * Ιησούν Jesus 1519 εις to 3588 το the 4232 πραιτώριον praetorium, 4863 συνήγαγον gathered 1909 επ΄ against 1473 αυτόν him 3650 όλην the entire 3588 την   4686 σπείραν cohort.   27:28   2532 και And 1562 εκδύσαντες stripping 1473 αυτόν him, 4060 περιέθηκαν they put on 1473 αυτώ him 5511 χλαμύδα [²military cloak 2847 κοκκίνην ¹a scarlet].   27:29   2532 και And 4120 πλέξαντες having plaited 4735 στέφανον a crown 1537 εξ of 173 ακανθών thorns, 2007 επέθηκαν they placed it 1909 επί upon 3588 την   2776-1473 κεφαλήν αυτού his head, 2532 και and 2563 κάλαμον a reed 1909 επί in 3588 την   1188-1473 δεξιάν αυτού his right hand. 2532 και And 1120 γονυπετήσαντες kneeling 1715 έμπροσθεν before 1473 αυτού him, 1702 ενέπαιζον they mocked 1473 αυτώ him, 3004 λέγοντες saying, 5463 χαίρε Hail, 3588 ο   935 βασιλεύς king 3588 των of the * Ιουδαίων Jews!   27:30   2532 και And 1716 εμπτύσαντες having spit 1519 εις on 1473 αυτόν him, 2983 έλαβον they took 3588 τον the 2563 κάλαμον reed, 2532 και and 5180 έτυπτον beat 1519 εις upon 3588 την   2776-1473 κεφαλήν αυτού his head.   27:31   2532 και And 3753 ότε when 1702 ενέπαιξαν they mocked 1473 αυτώ him, 1562 εξέδυσαν they took [³off 1473 αυτόν ⁴him 3588 την ¹the 5511 χλαμύδα ²military cloak], 2532 και and 1746 ενέδυσαν they put on 1473 αυτόν him 3588 τα   2440-1473 ιμάτια αυτού his garments; 2532 και and 520 απήγαγον they took 1473 αυτόν him 1519 εις to 3588 το   4717 σταυρώσαι be crucified.   27:32   1831-1161 εξερχόμενοι δε And going forth, 2147 εύρον they found 444 άνθρωπον [²man * Κυρηναίον ¹a Cyrenaean], 3686 ονόματι by name * Σίμωνα Simon. 3778 τούτον This one 29 ηγγάρευσαν they conscripted 2443 ίνα that 142 άρη he should bear 3588 τον   4716-1473 σταυρόν αυτού his cross.   27:33   2532 και And 2064 ελθόντες having come 1519 εις unto 5117 τόπον a place 3004 λεγόμενον being called * Γολγοθά Golgotha, 3739 ο which 1510.2.3 εστι is 3004 λεγόμενος being called, 2898 κρανίου [²of the skull 5117 τόπος ¹place],   27:34   1325 έδωκαν they gave 1473 αυτώ to him 4095 πιείν to drink 3690 όξος vinegar, 3326 μετά [²with 5521 χολής ³bile 3396 μεμιγμένον ¹being mixed]. 2532 και And 1089 γευσάμενος having tasted, 3756 ουκ he did not 2309 ήθελε want 4095 πιείν to drink.   27:35   4717-1161 σταυρώσαντες δε And having crucified 1473 αυτόν him, 1266 διεμερίσαντο they divided 3588 τα   2440-1473 ιμάτια αυτού his garments, 906 βάλλοντες casting 2819 κλήρον a lot; 2443 ίνα that 4137 πληρωθή should be fulfilled 3588 το the thing 4483 ρηθέν having been spoken 5259 υπό by 3588 του the 4396 προφήτου prophet, 1266 διεμερίσαντο They divided 3588 τα   2440-1473 ιμάτία μου my garments 1438 εαυτοίς among themselves, 2532 και and 1909 επί over 3588 τον   2441-1473 ιματισμόν μου my clothes 906 έβαλον they cast 2819 κλήρον a lot.   27:36   2532 και And 2521 καθήμενοι sitting down 5083 ετήρουν they kept 1473 αυτόν him 1563 εκεί there.   27:37   2532 και And 2007 επέθηκαν they placed 1883 επάνω above 3588 της   2776-1473 κεφαλής αυτού his head 3588 την   156-1473 αιτίαν αυτού his accusation 1125 γεγραμμένην being written -- 3778 ούτός This 1510.2.3 εστιν is * Ιησούς Jesus 3588 ο the 935 βασιλεύς king 3588 των of the * Ιουδαίων Jews.   27:38   5119 τότε Then 4717 σταυρούνται were crucified 4862 συν with 1473 αυτώ him 1417 δύο two 3027 λησταί robbers, 1520 εις one 1537 εκ at 1188 δεξιών his right 2532 και and 1520 εις one 1537 εξ at 2176 ευωνύμων his left.   27:39   3588-1161 οι δε And the ones 3899 παραπορευόμενοι coming near 987 εβλασφήμουν blasphemed 1473 αυτόν him, 2795 κινούντες shaking 3588 τας   2776-1473 κεφαλάς αυτών their heads,   27:40   2532 και and 3004 λέγοντες saying, 3588 ο O one 2647 καταλύων destroying 3588 τον the 3485 ναόν temple, 2532 και and 1722 εν in 5140 τρισίν three 2250 ημέραις days 3618 οικοδομών rebuilding it, 4982 σώσον deliver 4572 σεαυτόν yourself! 1487 ει If 5207-1510.2.2 υιός ει you are the son 3588 του   2316 θεού of God, 2597 κατάβηθι come down 575 από from 3588 του the 4716 σταυρού cross!   27:41   3668-1161 ομοίως δε And in like manner 2532 και also 3588 οι the 749 αρχιερείς chief priests 1702 εμπαίζοντες mocking 3326 μετά with 3588 των the 1122 γραμματέων scribes 2532 και and 4245 πρεσβυτέρων elders, 3004 έλεγον said,   27:42   243 άλλους Others 4982 έσωσεν he delivered, 1438 εαυτόν himself 3756 ου he is not 1410 δύναται able 4982 σώσαι to deliver. 1487 ει If 935 βασιλεύς [²king * Ισραήλ ³of Israel 1510.2.3 εστι ¹he is], 2597 καταβάτω let him come down 3568 νυν now 575 από from 3588 του the 4716 σταυρού cross, 2532 και and 4100 πιστεύσομεν we will believe 2089 επ΄ upon 1473 αυτώ him!   27:43   3982 πέποιθεν He relied 1909 επί upon 3588 τον   2316 θεόν God; 4506 ρυσάσθω let him rescue 3568-1473 νυν αυτόν him now! 1487 ει if 2309 θέλει he wants 1473 αυτόν him. 2036-1063 είπε γαρ For he said 3754 ότι that, 2316 θεού [³of God 1510.2.1 ειμι ¹I am 5207 υιός ²the son].   27:44   3588-1161 το δ΄ And the 1473 αυτό same way 2532 και also 3588 οι the 3027 λησταί robbers 3588 οι   4957 συσταυρωθέντες being crucified along with 1473 αυτώ him 3679 ωνείδιζον berated 1473 αυτόν him.   27:45   575-1161 από δε And from 1622 έκτης the sixth 5610 ώρας hour 4655 σκότος darkness 1096 εγένετο came 1909 επί upon 3956 πάσαν all 3588 την the 1093 γην land 2193 έως until 5610 ώρας [²hour 1766 ενάτης ¹the ninth].   27:46   4012-1161 περί δε And around 3588 την the 1766 ενάτην ninth 5610 ώραν hour 310-3588-* ανεβόησεν ο Ιησούς Jesus yelled out 5456 φωνή [²voice 3173 μεγάλη ¹with a great], 3004 λέγων saying, 2241 ηλί Eli, 2241 ηλί Eli, 3039.3 λιμά lima 4518 σαβαχθανί sabacthani; 5123 τουτ΄ έστι that is, 2316-1473 θεέ μου My God, 2316-1473 θεέ μου My God, 2444 ίνατι why 1473-1459 με εγκατέλιπες have you abandoned me?   27:47   5100-1161 τινές δε And some 3588 των of the ones 1563-2476 εκεί εστώτων standing there 191 ακούσαντες having heard, 3004 έλεγον said 3754 ότι that, *-5455 Ηλίαν φωνεί [²calls Elijah 3778 ούτος ¹This one].   27:48   2532 και And 2112 ευθέως immediately 5143 δραμών [⁴running 1520 εις ¹one 1537 εξ ²of 1473 αυτών ³them], 2532 και and 2983 λαβών taking 4699 σπόγγον a sponge, 4130 πλήσας filling 5037 τε also 3690 όξους of vinegar, 2532 και and 4060 περιθείς putting it on 2563 καλάμω a reed 4222-1473 επότιζεν αυτόν gave him to drink.   27:49   3588-1161 οι δε And the 3062 λοιποί rest 3004 έλεγον said, 863 άφες Let go! 1492 ίδωμεν we should see 1487 ει if 2064-* έρχεται Ηλίας Elijah comes 4982 σώσων delivering 1473 αυτόν him.   27:50   3588 ο   1161 δε And * Ιησούς Jesus 3825 πάλιν again, 2896 κράξας having cried out 5456 φωνή [²voice 3173 μεγάλη ¹with a great], 863 αφήκε let go 3588 το the 4151 πνεύμα spirit.   27:51   2532 και And 2400 ιδού behold, 3588 το the 2665 καταπέτασμα veil 3588 του of the 3485 ναού temple 4977 εσχίσθη was split 1519 εις in 1417 δύο two 575 από from 509 άνωθεν above 2193 έως unto 2736 κάτω below; 2532 και and 3588 η the 1093 γη earth 4579 εσείσθη was shaken, 2532 και and 3588 αι the 4073 πέτραι rocks 4977 εσχίσθησαν split;   27:52   2532 και and 3588 τα the 3419 μνημεία tombs 455 ανεώχθησαν were opened, 2532 και and 4183 πολλά many 4983 σώματα bodies 3588 των of the 2837 κεκοιμημένων [²sleeping 39 αγίων ¹holy ones] 1453 ηγέρθη arose;   27:53   2532 και and 1831 εξελθόντες having come forth 1537 εκ from out of 3588 των the 3419 μνημείων tombs, 3326 μετά after 3588 την   1454-1473 έγερσιν αυτού his rising up, 1525 εισήλθον entered 1519 εις into 3588 την the 39 αγίαν holy 4172 πόλιν city, 2532 και and 1718 ενεφανίσθησαν were revealed 4183 πολλοίς to many.   27:54   3588 ο   1161 δε And 1543 εκατόνταρχος the centurion, 2532 και and 3588 οι the ones 3326 μετ΄ with 1473 αυτού him 5083 τηρούντες keeping guard over 3588 τον   * Ιησούν Jesus, 1492 ιδόντες having beheld 3588 τον the 4578 σεισμόν earthquake, 2532 και and 3588 τα the things 1096 γενόμενα happening, 5399 εφοβήθησαν feared 4970 σφόδρα exceedingly, 3004 λέγοντες saying, 230 αληθώς Truly 2316-5207 θεού υιός [²son of God 1510.7.3-3778 ην ούτος ¹this was].   27:55   1510.7.6-1161 ήσαν δε And were 1563 εκεί there 1135 γυναίκες [²women 4183 πολλαί ¹many] 575 από from 3113 μακρόθεν far off 2334 θεωρούσαι viewing, 3748 αίτινες ones who 190 ηκολούθησαν followed 3588 τω   * Ιησού Jesus 575 από from 3588 της   * Γαλιλαίας Galilee, 1247 διακονούσαι serving 1473 αυτώ to him;
