  1 H8010 Now when Solomon H3615 had made an end [H8763]   H6419 of praying [H8692]   H784 , the fire H3381 came down [H8804]   H8064 from heaven H398 , and consumed [H8799]   H5930 the burnt offering H2077 and the sacrifices H3519 ; and the glory H3068 of the LORD H4390 filled [H8804]   H1004 the house.
  2 H3548 And the priests H3201 could [H8804]   H935 not enter [H8800]   H1004 into the house H3068 of the LORD H3519 , because the glory H3068 of the LORD H4390 had filled [H8804]   H3068 the LORD'S H1004 house.
  3 H1121 And when all the children H3478 of Israel H7200 saw [H8802]   H784 how the fire H3381 came down [H8800]   H3519 , and the glory H3068 of the LORD H1004 upon the house H3766 , they bowed [H8799]   H639 themselves with their faces H776 to the ground H7531 upon the pavement H7812 , and worshipped [H8691]   H3034 , and praised [H8687]   H3068 the LORD H2896 , saying, For he is good H2617 ; for his mercy H5769 endureth for ever.
  4 H4428 Then the king H5971 and all the people H2076 offered [H8802]   H2077 sacrifices H6440 before H3068 the LORD.
  5 H4428 And king H8010 Solomon H2076 offered [H8799]   H2077 a sacrifice H6242 of twenty H8147 and two H505 thousand H1241 oxen H3967 , and an hundred H6242 and twenty H505 thousand H6629 sheep H4428 : so the king H5971 and all the people H2596 dedicated [H8799]   H1004 the house H430 of God.
  6 H3548 And the priests H5975 waited [H8802]   H4931 on their offices H3881 : the Levites H3627 also with instruments H7892 of musick H3068 of the LORD H1732 , which David H4428 the king H6213 had made [H8804]   H3034 to praise [H8687]   H3068 the LORD H2617 , because his mercy H5769 endureth for ever H1732 , when David H1984 praised [H8763]   H3027 by their ministry H3548 ; and the priests H2690 sounded trumpets [H8688]   [H8675]   H2690   [H8764]   H3478 before them, and all Israel H5975 stood [H8802]  .
  7 H8010 Moreover Solomon H6942 hallowed [H8762]   H8432 the middle H2691 of the court H6440 that was before H1004 the house H3068 of the LORD H6213 : for there he offered [H8804]   H5930 burnt offerings H2459 , and the fat H8002 of the peace offerings H5178 , because the brasen H4196 altar H8010 which Solomon H6213 had made [H8804]   H3201 was not able [H8804]   H3557 to receive [H8687]   H5930 the burnt offerings H4503 , and the meat offerings H2459 , and the fat.
  8 H6256 Also at the same time H8010 Solomon H6213 kept [H8799]   H2282 the feast H7651 seven H3117 days H3478 , and all Israel H3966 with him, a very H1419 great H6951 congregation H935 , from the entering in [H8800]   H2574 of Hamath H5158 unto the river H4714 of Egypt.
  9 H8066 And in the eighth H3117 day H6213 they made [H8799]   H6116 a solemn assembly H6213 : for they kept [H8804]   H2598 the dedication H4196 of the altar H7651 seven H3117 days H2282 , and the feast H7651 seven H3117 days.
  10 H7969 And on the three H6242 and twentieth H3117 day H7637 of the seventh H2320 month H7971 he sent H5971 the people H7971 away [H8765]   H168 into their tents H8056 , glad H2896 and merry H3820 in heart H2896 for the goodness H3068 that the LORD H6213 had shewed [H8804]   H1732 unto David H8010 , and to Solomon H3478 , and to Israel H5971 his people.
  11 H8010 Thus Solomon H3615 finished [H8762]   H1004 the house H3068 of the LORD H4428 , and the king's H1004 house H935 : and all that came [H8802]   H8010 into Solomon's H3820 heart H6213 to make [H8800]   H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in his own house H6743 , he prosperously effected [H8689]  .
  12 H3068 And the LORD H7200 appeared [H8735]   H8010 to Solomon H3915 by night H559 , and said [H8799]   H8085 unto him, I have heard [H8804]   H8605 thy prayer H977 , and have chosen [H8804]   H4725 this place H1004 to myself for an house H2077 of sacrifice.
  13 H2005 If H6113 I shut up [H8799]   H8064 heaven H4306 that there be no rain H6680 , or if I command [H8762]   H2284 the locusts H398 to devour [H8800]   H776 the land H7971 , or if I send [H8762]   H1698 pestilence H5971 among my people;
  14 H5971 If my people H7121 , which are called [H8738]   H8034 by my name H3665 , shall humble [H8735]   H6419 themselves, and pray [H8691]   H1245 , and seek [H8762]   H6440 my face H7725 , and turn [H8799]   H7451 from their wicked H1870 ways H8085 ; then will I hear [H8799]   H8064 from heaven H5545 , and will forgive [H8799]   H2403 their sin H7495 , and will heal [H8799]   H776 their land.
  15 H5869 Now mine eyes H6605 shall be open [H8803]   H241 , and mine ears H7183 attent H8605 unto the prayer H4725 that is made in this place.
  16 H977 For now have I chosen [H8804]   H6942 and sanctified [H8689]   H1004 this house H8034 , that my name H5704 may be there for H5769 ever H5869 : and mine eyes H3820 and mine heart H3117 shall be there perpetually.
  17 H3212 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk [H8799]   H6440 before H1732 me, as David H1 thy father H1980 walked [H8804]   H6213 , and do [H8800]   H6680 according to all that I have commanded [H8765]   H8104 thee, and shalt observe [H8799]   H2706 my statutes H4941 and my judgments;
  18 H6965 Then will I stablish [H8689]   H3678 the throne H4438 of thy kingdom H3772 , according as I have covenanted [H8804]   H1732 with David H1 thy father H559 , saying [H8800]   H3772 , There shall not fail [H8735]   H376 thee a man H4910 to be ruler [H8802]   H3478 in Israel.
  19 H7725 But if ye turn away [H8799]   H5800 , and forsake [H8804]   H2708 my statutes H4687 and my commandments H5414 , which I have set [H8804]   H6440 before H1980 you, and shall go [H8804]   H5647 and serve [H8804]   H312 other H430 gods H7812 , and worship [H8694]   them;
  20 H5428 Then will I pluck them up by the roots [H8804]   H127 out of my land H5414 which I have given [H8804]   H1004 them; and this house H6942 , which I have sanctified [H8689]   H8034 for my name H7993 , will I cast out [H8686]   H6440 of my sight H5414 , and will make [H8799]   H4912 it to be a proverb H8148 and a byword H5971 among all nations.
  21 H1004 And this house H5945 , which is high H8074 , shall be an astonishment [H8799]   H5674 to every one that passeth [H8802]   H559 by it; so that he shall say [H8804]   H3068 , Why hath the LORD H6213 done [H8804]   H776 thus unto this land H1004 , and unto this house?
  22 H559 And it shall be answered [H8804]   H5800 , Because they forsook [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H430 God H1 of their fathers H3318 , which brought them forth [H8689]   H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H2388 , and laid hold [H8686]   H312 on other H430 gods H7812 , and worshipped [H8691]   H5647 them, and served [H8799]   H935 them: therefore hath he brought [H8689]   H7451 all this evil upon them.

  2 H3808 ולא not H3201 יכלו could H3548 הכהנים And the priests H935 לבוא enter H413 אל into H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3588 כי because H4390 מלא had filled H3519 כבוד the glory H3068 יהוה of the LORD H853 את   H1004 בית house. H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD's
  3 H3605 וכל And when all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H7200 ראים saw H3381 ברדת came down, H784 האשׁ how the fire H3519 וכבוד and the glory H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5921 על upon H1004 הבית the house, H3766 ויכרעו they bowed H639 אפים themselves with their faces H776 ארצה to the ground H5921 על upon H7531 הרצפה the pavement, H7812 וישׁתחוו and worshiped, H3034 והודות and praised H3068 ליהוה the LORD, H3588 כי For H2896 טוב good; H3588 כי for H5769 לעולם forever. H2617 חסדו׃ his mercy
  4 H4428 והמלך Then the king H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people H2076 זבחים offered H2077 זבח sacrifices H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
  5 H2076 ויזבח offered H4428 המלך And king H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H853 את   H2077 זבח a sacrifice H1241 הבקר oxen, H6242 עשׂרים of twenty H8147 ושׁנים and two H505 אלף thousand H6629 וצאן sheep: H3967 מאה and a hundred H6242 ועשׂרים and twenty H505 אלף thousand H2596 ויחנכו dedicated H853 את   H1004 בית the house H430 האלהים of God. H4428 המלך so the king H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם׃ the people
  6 H3548 והכהנים And the priests H5921 על on H4931 משׁמרותם their offices: H5975 עמדים waited H3881 והלוים the Levites H3627 בכלי also with instruments H7892 שׁיר of music H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה had made H1732 דויד David H4428 המלך the king H3034 להדות to praise H3068 ליהוה the LORD, H3588 כי because H5769 לעולם forever, H2617 חסדו his mercy H1984 בהלל praised H1732 דויד when David H3027 בידם by their ministry; H3548 והכהנים and the priests H2690 מחצצרים sounded H5048 נגדם trumpets before H3605 וכל them, and all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5975 עמדים׃ stood.
  7 H6942 ויקדשׁ hallowed H8010 שׁלמה Moreover Solomon H853 את   H8432 תוך the middle H2691 החצר of the court H834 אשׁר that H6440 לפני before H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD: H3588 כי for H6213 עשׂה he offered H8033 שׁם there H5930 העלות burnt offerings, H853 ואת   H2459 חלבי and the fat H8002 השׁלמים of the peace offerings, H3588 כי because H4196 מזבח altar H5178 הנחשׁת the brazen H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה had made H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H3808 לא was not able H3201 יכול was not able H3557 להכיל to receive H853 את   H5930 העלה the burnt offerings, H853 ואת   H4503 המנחה and the meat offerings, H853 ואת   H2459 החלבים׃ and the fat.
  8 H6213 ויעשׂ kept H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H853 את   H2282 החג the feast H6256 בעת time H1931 ההיא Also at the same H7651 שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים days, H3605 וכל and all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5973 עמו with H6951 קהל congregation, H1419 גדול great H3966 מאד him, a very H935 מלבוא from the entering in H2574 חמת of Hamath H5704 עד unto H5158 נחל the river H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.
  9 H6213 ויעשׂו they made H3117 ביום day H8066 השׁמיני And in the eighth H6116 עצרת a solemn assembly: H3588 כי for H2598 חנכת the dedication H4196 המזבח of the altar H6213 עשׂו they kept H7651 שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים days, H2282 והחג and the feast H7651 שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים׃ days.
  10 H3117 וביום day H6242 עשׂרים and twentieth H7969 ושׁלשׁה And on the three H2320 לחדשׁ month H7637 השׁביעי of the seventh H7971 שׁלח he sent H853 את   H5971 העם the people H168 לאהליהם away into their tents, H8056 שׂמחים glad H2896 וטובי and merry H3820 לב in heart H5921 על for H2896 הטובה the goodness H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had showed H3068 יהוה the LORD H1732 לדויד unto David, H8010 ולשׁלמה and to Solomon, H3478 ולישׂראל and to Israel H5971 עמו׃ his people.
  11 H3615 ויכל finished H8010 שׁלמה Thus Solomon H853 את   H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H853 ואת   H1004 בית house: H4428 המלך and the king's H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H935 הבא that came H5921 על into H3820 לב heart H8010 שׁלמה Solomon's H6213 לעשׂות to make H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1004 ובביתו and in his own house, H6743 הצליח׃ he prosperously effected.
  12 H7200 וירא appeared H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H3915 בלילה by night, H559 ויאמר and said H8085 לו שׁמעתי unto him, I have heard H853 את   H8605 תפלתך thy prayer, H977 ובחרתי and have chosen H4725 במקום place H2088 הזה this H1004 לי לבית to myself for a house H2077 זבח׃ of sacrifice.
  13 H2005 הן If H6113 אעצר I shut up H8064 השׁמים heaven H3808 ולא no H1961 יהיה that there be H4306 מטר rain, H2005 והן or if H6680 אצוה   H5921 על   H2284 חגב the locusts H398 לאכול to devour H776 הארץ the land, H518 ואם or if H7971 אשׁלח I send H1698 דבר pestilence H5971 בעמי׃ among my people;
  14 H3665 ויכנעו shall humble themselves, H5971 עמי If my people, H834 אשׁר which H7121 נקרא are called H8034 שׁמי by my name, H5921 עליהם are called H6419 ויתפללו and pray, H1245 ויבקשׁו and seek H6440 פני my face, H7725 וישׁבו and turn H1870 מדרכיהם ways; H7451 הרעים from their wicked H589 ואני then will I H8085 אשׁמע hear H4480 מן ways; H8064 השׁמים heaven, H5545 ואסלח and will forgive H2403 לחטאתם their sin, H7495 וארפא and will heal H853 את   H776 ארצם׃ their land.
  15 H6258 עתה Now H5869 עיני mine eyes H1961 יהיו shall be H6605 פתחות open, H241 ואזני and mine ears H7183 קשׁבות attent H8605 לתפלת unto the prayer H4725 המקום place. H2088 הזה׃ in this
  16 H6258 ועתה For now H977 בחרתי have I chosen H6942 והקדשׁתי and sanctified H853 את   H1004 הבית house, H2088 הזה this H1961 להיות may be H8034 שׁמי that my name H8033 שׁם there H5704 עד forever: H5769 עולם forever: H1961 והיו shall be H5869 עיני and mine eyes H3820 ולבי and mine heart H8033 שׁם there H3605 כל perpetually. H3117 הימים׃ perpetually.
  17 H859 ואתה And as for thee, H518 אם if H1980 תלך thou wilt walk H6440 לפני before H834 כאשׁר me, as H1980 הלך walked, H1732 דויד David H1 אביך thy father H6213 ולעשׂות and do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צויתיך I have commanded H2706 וחקי my statutes H4941 ומשׁפטי and my judgments; H8104 תשׁמור׃ thee, and shalt observe
  18 H6965 והקימותי Then will I establish H853 את   H3678 כסא the throne H4438 מלכותך of thy kingdom, H834 כאשׁר according as H3772 כרתי I have covenanted H1732 לדויד with David H1 אביך thy father, H559 לאמר saying, H3808 לא There shall not H3772 יכרת fail H376 לך אישׁ thee a man H4910 מושׁל ruler H3478 בישׂראל׃ in Israel.
  19 H518 ואם But if H7725 תשׁובון turn away, H859 אתם ye H5800 ועזבתם and forsake H2708 חקותי my statutes H4687 ומצותי and my commandments, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתי I have set H6440 לפניכם before H1980 והלכתם you, and shall go H5647 ועבדתם and serve H430 אלהים gods, H312 אחרים other H7812 והשׁתחויתם׃ and worship
  20 H5428 ונתשׁתים Then will I pluck them up by the roots H5921 מעל out of H127 אדמתי my land H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתי I have given H853 להם ואת   H1004 הבית house, H2088 הזה them; and this H834 אשׁר which H6942 הקדשׁתי I have sanctified H8034 לשׁמי for my name, H7993 אשׁליך will I cast out H5921 מעל of H6440 פני my sight, H5414 ואתננו and will make H4912 למשׁל it a proverb H8148 ולשׁנינה and a byword H3605 בכל among all H5971 העמים׃ nations.
  21 H1004 והבית house, H2088 הזה And this H834 אשׁר which H1961 היה is H5945 עליון high, H3605 לכל to every one H5674 עבר that passeth H5921 עליו by H8074 ישׁם shall be an astonishment H559 ואמר it; so that he shall say, H4100 במה Why H6213 עשׂה done H3068 יהוה hath the LORD H3602 ככה thus H776 לארץ land, H2063 הזאת unto this H1004 ולבית house? H2088 הזה׃ and unto this
  22 H559 ואמרו And it shall be answered, H5921 על them: therefore H834 אשׁר which H5800 עזבו they forsook H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבתיהם of their fathers, H834 אשׁר   H3318 הוציאם brought them forth H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H2388 ויחזיקו and laid hold H430 באלהים gods, H312 אחרים on other H7812 וישׁתחוו and worshiped H5647 להם ויעבדום them, and served H5921 על upon H3651 כן them: therefore H935 הביא hath he brought H5921 עליהם   H853 את   H3605 כל all H7451 הרעה evil H2063 הזאת׃ this
