  1 G2532 And G3326 after G1803 six G2250 days G2424 Jesus G3880 [G5719] taketh G4074 G2532 Peter, G2385 Jacobus, G2532 and G2491 John G846 his G80 brother, G2532 and G399 0 bringeth G846 them G399 [G5719] up G1519 upon G5308 an high G3735 mountain G2596 by G2398 themselves,

  2 G2532 And G3339 [G5681] he was transformed G1715 before G846 them: G2532 and G846 his G4383 face G2989 [G5656] shone G5613 as G2246 the sun, G1161 and G846 his G2440 raiment G1096 [G5633] was G3022 white G5613 as G5457 the light.

  3 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] behold, G3700 [G5681] there appeared G846 to them G3475 Moses G2532 and G2243 Elijah G4814 [G5723] talking G3326 with G846 him.

  4 G1161 Then G611 [G5679] answered G4074 Peter, G2036 [G5627] and said G2424 to Jesus, G2962 Lord, G2076 [G5748] it is G2570 good G2248 for us G1511 [G5750] to be G5602 here: G1487 if G2309 [G5719] thou wilt, G4160 [G5661] let us make G5602 here G5140 three G4633 tents; G3391 one G4671 for thee, G2532 and G3391 one G3475 for Moses, G2532 and G3391 one G2243 for Elijah.

  5 G846 While he G2089 was yet G2980 [G5723] speaking, G2400 [G5628] behold, G5460 a bright G3507 cloud G1982 [G5656] overshadowed G846 them: G2532 and G2400 [G5628] behold G5456 a voice G1537 out of G3507 the cloud, G3004 [G5723] which said, G3778 This G2076 [G5748] is G3450 my G27 beloved G5207 Son, G1722 in G3739 whom G2106 [G5656] I am well pleased; G191 [G5720] hear ye G846 him.

  6 G2532 And G3101 when the disciples G191 [G5660] heard G4098 [G5627] it, they fell G1909 on G846 their G4383 face, G2532 and G4970 were greatly G5399 [G5675] afraid.

  7 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G4334 [G5631] came G680 [G5662] and touched G846 them, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said, G1453 [G5682] { Arise, G2532 and G5399 0 be G3361 not G5399 [G5737] afraid.}

  8 G1161 And G1869 [G5660] when they had lifted up G846 their G3788 eyes, G1492 [G5627] they saw G3762 no man, G1508 except G2424 Jesus G3441 only.

  9 G2532 And G846 as they G2597 G575 [G5723] came down G3735 the mountain, G2424 Jesus G1781 [G5662] charged G846 them, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2036 [G5632] { Tell G3705 the vision G3367 to no man, G2193 G3739 until G5207 the Son G444 of man G450 [G5632] is risen G1537 from G3498 the dead.}

  10 G2532 And G846 his G3101 disciples G1905 [G5656] asked G846 him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G5101 Why G3767 then G3004 [G5719] say G1122 the scribes G3754 that G2243 Elijah G1163 [G5748] must G4412 first G2064 [G5629] come?

  11 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answered G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to them, G2243 { Elijah G3303 truly G4412 shall first G2064 [G5736] come, G2532 and G600 [G5692] restore G3956 all things.}

  12 G1161 { But G3004 [G5719] I say G5213 to you, G3754 That G2243 Elijah G2064 [G5627] is come G2235 already, G2532 and G1921 [G5627] they knew G846 him G3756 not, G235 but G4160 [G5656] have done G1722 to G846 him G3745 whatever G2309 [G5656] they desired. G3779 Thus G3195 [G5719] shall G2532 also G5207 the Son G444 of man G3958 [G5721] suffer G5259 by G846 them.}

  13 G5119 Then G3588 the G3101 disciples G4920 [G5656] understood G3754 that G2036 [G5627] he spoke G846 to them G4012 concerning G2491 John G3588 the G910 Baptist.

  14 G2532 And G846 when they G2064 [G5631] had come G4314 to G3793 the crowd, G4334 [G5627] there came G846 to him G444 a certain man, G1120 [G5723] kneeling down G846 to him, G2532 and G3004 [G5723] saying,

  15 G2962 Lord, G1653 [G5657] have mercy G3450 on my G5207 son: G3754 for G4583 [G5736] he is lunatic, G2532 and G3958 [G5719] suffers G2560 badly: G1063 for G4178 often G4098 [G5719] he falleth G1519 into G4442 the fire, G2532 and G4178 often G1519 into G5204 the water.

  16 G2532 And G4374 [G5656] I brought G846 him G4675 to thy G3101 disciples, G2532 and G1410 [G5675] they could G3756 not G2323 [G5658] cure G846 him.

  17 G1161 Then G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answered G2036 [G5627] and said, G5599 { O G571 faithless G2532 and G1294 [G5772] perverse G1074 generation, G2193 G4219 how long G2071 [G5704] shall I be G3326 with G5216 you? G2193 G4219 how long G430 [G5695] shall I bear with G5216 you? G5342 [G5720] bring G846 him G5602 here G3427 to me.}

  18 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G2008 [G5656] rebuked G1140 the demon; G2532 and G846 he G1831 [G5627] departed G575 from G846 him: G2532 and G3816 the child G2323 [G5681] was cured G575 from G1565 that very G5610 hour.

  19 G5119 Then G4334 [G5631] came G3101 the disciples G2424 to Jesus G2596 G2398 privately, G2036 [G5627] and said, G1302 Why G1410 [G5675] could G3756 not G2249 we G1544 0 cast G846 him G1544 [G5629] out?

  20 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G846 to them, G1223 { Because G5216 of your G570 unbelief: G1063 for G281 verily G3004 [G5719] I say G5213 to you, G1437 If G2192 [G5725] ye have G4102 faith G5613 as G2848 a kernel G4615 of mustard seed, G2046 [G5692] ye shall say G5129 to this G3735 mountain, G3327 [G5628] Move G1782 from here G1563 to yonder place; G2532 and G3327 [G5695] it shall move; G2532 and G3762 nothing G101 [G5692] shall be impossible G5213 to you.}

  21 G1161 { However G5124 this G1085 kind G1607 0 goeth G3756 not G1607 [G5736] out G1508 except G1722 by G4335 prayer G2532 and G3521 fasting.}

  22 G1161 And G846 while they G390 [G5746] abode G1722 in G1056 Galilee, G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G846 to them, G5207 { The Son G444 of man G3195 [G5719] shall be G3860 [G5745] betrayed G1519 into G5495 the hands G444 of men:}

  23 G2532 { And G615 [G5692] they shall kill G846 him, G2532 and G5154 the third G2250 day G1453 [G5701] he shall be raised again. G2532 } And G4970 they were exceedingly G3076 [G5681] sorrowful.

  24 G1161 And G846 when they G2064 [G5631] had come G1519 to G2584 Capernaum, G2983 [G5723] they that received G1323 the temple-tax (double-drachma) G4334 [G5656] came G4074 to Peter, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said, G5055 0 Doth G3756 not G5216 your G1320 teacher G5055 [G5719] pay G1323 the temple-tax?

  25 G3004 [G5719] He saith, G3483 Yes. G2532 And G3753 when G1525 [G5627] he had come G1519 into G3614 the house, G2424 Jesus G4399 0 spoke G846 to him G4399 [G5656] first, G3004 [G5723] saying, G5101 { What G1380 [G5719] thinkest G4671 thou, G4613 Simon? G575 from G5101 whom G2983 0 do G935 the kings G1093 of the earth G2983 [G5719] take G5056 custom G2228 or G2778 poll-tax? G575 from G846 their own G5207 sons, G2228 or G575 from G245 strangers?}

  26 G4074 Peter G3004 [G5719] saith G846 to him, G575 From G245 strangers. G2424 Jesus G5346 [G5713] saith G846 to him, G686 { Then G1526 [G5748] are G5207 the sons G1658 free.}

  27 G1161 { But, G2433 that G3363 lest G4626 0 we should cause G846 them G4624 [G5661] to stumble, G4198 [G5679] having gone G1519 to G3588 the G2281 sea, G906 [G5628] cast G44 an hook, G2532 and G142 [G5657] take G3588 the G4412 first G2486 fish G305 [G5631] ascending; G2532 and G455 [G5660] having opened G846 his G4750 mouth, G2147 [G5692] thou shalt find G4715 a piece of money: G1565 that G2983 [G5631] having taken, G1325 [G5628] give G846 to them G473 for G1700 me G2532 and G4675 thee.}
