11 H1697 Moreover the word H3068 of the LORD H559 [H8800] came to me, saying,
  12 H559 [H8798] Say H4805 now to the rebellious H1004 house, H3045 [H8804] Know H559 [H8798] ye not what these things mean? tell H4428 them, Behold, the king H894 of Babylon H935 [H8802] hath come H3389 to Jerusalem, H3947 [H8799] and hath taken H4428 its king, H8269 and its princes, H935 [H8686] and led H894 them with him to Babylon;
13 H3947 [H8799] And hath taken H4410 of the king's H2233 seed, H3772 [H8799] and made H1285 a covenant H935 [H8686] with him, and hath taken H423 an oath H3947 [H8804] from him: he hath also taken H352 the mighty H776 of the land:
14 H4467 That the kingdom H8217 might be base, H5375 [H8692] that it might not lift itself up, H8104 [H8800] but that by keeping H1285 his covenant H5975 [H8800] it might stand.
15 H4775 [H8799] But he rebelled H7971 [H8800] against him in sending H4397 his messengers H4714 into Egypt, H5414 [H8800] that they might give H5483 him horses H7227 and many H5971 people. H6743 [H8799] Shall he prosper? H4422 [H8735] shall he escape H6213 [H8802] that doeth H6565 [H8689] such things? or shall he break H1285 the covenant, H4422 [H8738] and be delivered?
16 H2416 As I live, H5002 [H8803] saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD, H4725 surely in the place H4428 where the king H4427 [H8688] dwelleth that made him king, H423 whose oath H959 [H8804] he despised, H1285 and whose covenant H6565 [H8689] he broke, H8432 even with him in the midst H894 of Babylon H4191 [H8799] he shall die.
  17 H6547 Neither shall Pharaoh H1419 with his mighty H2428 army H7227 and great H6951 congregation H6213 [H8799] help H4421 him in the war, H8210 [H8800] by casting up H5550 siege mounds, H1129 [H8800] and building H1785 forts, H3772 [H8687] to cut off H7227 many H5315 persons:
18 H959 [H8804] Seeing he despised H423 the oath H6565 [H8687] by breaking H1285 the covenant, H5414 [H8804] when, lo, he had given H3027 his hand, H6213 [H8804] and hath done H4422 [H8735] all these things, he shall not escape.
19 H559 [H8804] Therefore thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H2416 As I live, H423 surely my oath H959 [H8804] that he hath despised, H1285 and my covenant H6331 [H8689] that he hath broken, H5414 [H8804] even that will I recompense H7218 upon his own head.

21 H4015 And all his fugitives H102 with all his bands H5307 [H8799] shall fall H2719 by the sword, H7604 [H8737] and they that remain H6566 [H8735] shall be scattered H7307 toward all winds: H3045 [H8804] and ye shall know H3068 that I the LORD H1696 [H8765] have spoken it.

Say, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took away its king and its princes, and he brought them unto himself to Babylon; 13 And he took one of the royal seed, and made a covenant with him, and bound him with an oath; but the mighty of the land did he take away; 14 That the kingdom should be debased, so as not to lift itself up; that it should keep his covenant that it might continue to exist. 15 But he rebelled against him by sending his messengers into Egypt, that they might give him horses and numerous people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doth such things? yea, he hath broken the covenant, and shall he escape? 16 As I live, saith the Lord Eternal, surely in the residence of the king that hath made him king, whose oath he hath despised, and whose covenant he hath broken, even near him in the midst of Babylon shall he die. 17 And not with a mighty army and a large assembly shall Pharaoh labor for him in the war, when the other casteth up mounds, and buildeth works of attack, to cut off many souls. 18 Yea, he that hath despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, shall not escape. 19 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, As I live, surely my oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken,—even this will I bring upon his own head. 20 And I will spread my net over him, and he shall be caught in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will hold judgment with him there for his trespass which he hath committed against me. 21 And all his fugitives with all the wings of his army shall fall by the sword, and those that remain shall be dispersed toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the Lord have spoken it.
YLT(i) 11 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying: 12 `Say, I pray thee, to the rebellious house, Have ye not known what these are ? Say, Lo, come hath the king of Babylon to Jerusalem, And he taketh its king, and its princes, And bringeth them to himself to Babylon. 13 And he taketh of the seed of the kingdom, And maketh with him a covenant, And bringeth him in to an oath, And the mighty of the land he hath taken, 14 That the kingdom may be humble, That it may not lift itself up, To keep his covenant—that it may stand. 15 And he rebelleth against him, To send his messengers to Egypt, To give to him horses, and much people, Doth he prosper? doth he escape who is doing these things? And hath he broken covenant and escaped? 16 I live—an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Doth he not—in the place of the king who is causing him to reign, Whose oath he hath despised, And whose covenant he hath broken, With him—in the midst of Babylon—die? 17 And not with a great force, and with a numerous assembly, Doth Pharaoh maintain him in battle, By pouring out a mount, and in building a fortification, To cut off many souls. 18 And he despised the oath—to break covenant, And lo, he hath given his hand, And all these he hath done, he escapeth not. 19 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I live—Mine oath that he hath despised, And My covenant that he hath broken, Have I not put it on his head? 20 And I have spread out for him My snare, And he hath been caught in My net, And I have brought him in to Babylon, And pleaded with him there his trespass, That he hath trespassed against Me. 21 And all his fugitives, with all his bands, By sword do fall, and those remaining, To every wind they are spread out, And ye have known that I, Jehovah, have spoken.

JPS_ASV_Byz(i) 11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying: 12 'Say now to the rebellious house: Know ye not what these things mean? tell them: Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon; 13 and he took of the seed royal, and made a covenant with him, and brought him under an oath, and the mighty of the land he took away; 14 that his might be a lowly kingdom, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping his covenant it might stand. 15 But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? shall he break the covenant, and yet escape? 16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. 17 Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company succour him in the war, when they cast up mounds and build forts, to cut off many souls; 18 seeing he hath despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape. 19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: As I live, surely Mine oath that he hath despised, and My covenant that he hath broken, I will even bring it upon his own head. 20 And I will spread My net upon him, and he shall be taken in My snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his treachery that he hath committed against Me. 21 And all his mighty men in all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward every wind; and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.
Rotherham(i) 11 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying: 12 Say, I pray thee, unto the perverse house, Know ye not what these things are? Say thou, Lo! the King of Babylon entered Jerusalem, And took her king and her princes, And brought them unto him in Babylon; 13 Yea took of the seed royal, And solemnised with him a covenant,––And brought him into an oath, Also, the mighty ones of the land, did he take. 14 That, the kingdom, might be, abased, so as not to lift itself up,––By the keeping of his covenant, might be made to stand. 15 But he hath rebelled against him, by sending his messengers to Egypt, that there should be given to him horses, and much people. Shall he thrive? Shall he escape that doeth these things? Shall he break a covenant, and escape? 16 As I live, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, Very! in the place where dwelleth the king that made him, king, Whose oath he hath despised, And whose covenant he hath broken, With him, in the midst of Babylon, shall he die. 17 Neither shall Pharaoh, with a great force, or with a large gathered host, work with him, in the war, by casting up an earthwork, and by building a siege–wall, ––to the cuting off of many lives. 18 Seeing he hath despised an oath, by breaking a covenant––yea lo! hath given his hand, and, all these things, hath done, he shall not escape. 19 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, As I live, Surely it is mine oath, which he hath despised, And, my covenant, which he hath broken, Therefore will I bring it upon his own head: 20 And I will spread over him my net, And he shall be taken in my snare, And I will bring him into Babylon, and will enter into judgment with him there, as to his treachery wherewith he hath been treacherous against me; 21 And, all his fugitives, throughout all his bands, by the sword, shall fall, And, they who are left, to every wind, shall be scattered,––So shall ye know, that, I, Yahweh, have spoken!
CLV(i) 11 And there is a word of Yahweh unto me, saying:" 12 `Say, I pray you, to the rebellious house, Have you not known what these [are]? Say, Lo, come has the king of Babylon to Jerusalem, And he takes its king, and its princes, And brings them to himself to Babylon." 13 And he takes of the seed of the kingdom, And makes with him a covenant, And brings him in to an oath, And the mighty of the land he has taken, 14 That the kingdom may be humble, That it may not lift itself up, To keep his covenant--that it may stand." 15 And he rebels against him, To send his messengers to Egypt, To give to him horses, and much people, Does he prosper? does he escape who is doing these things? And has he broken covenant and escaped? 16 I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Does he not--in the place of the king who is causing him to reign, Whose oath he has despised, And whose covenant he has broken, With him--in the midst of Babylon--die? 17 And not with a great force, and with a numerous assembly, Does Pharaoh maintain him in battle, By pouring out a mount, and in building a fortification, To cut off many souls." 18 And he despised the oath--to break covenant, And lo, he has given his hand, And all these he has done, he escapes not." 19 Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:I live--Mine oath that he has despised, And My covenant that he has broken, Have I not put it on his head? 20 And I have spread out for him My snare, And he has been caught in My net, And I have brought him in to Babylon, And pleaded with him there his trespass, That he has trespassed against Me." 21 And all his fugitives, with all his bands, By sword do fall, and those remaining, To every wind they are spread out, And you have known that I, Yahweh, have spoken."
BBE(i) 11 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 12 Say now to this uncontrolled people, Are these things not clear to you? Say to them, See, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and took its king and its rulers away with him to Babylon; 13 And he took one of the sons of the king and made an agreement with him; and he put him under an oath, and took away the great men of the land: 14 So that the kingdom might be made low with no power of lifting itself up, but might keep his agreement to be his servants. 15 But he went against his authority in sending representatives to Egypt to get from them horses and a great army. Will he do well? will he be safe who does such things? if the agreement is broken will he be safe? 16 By my life, says the Lord, truly in the place of the king who made him king, whose oath he put on one side and let his agreement with him be broken, even in Babylon he will come to his death. 17 And Pharaoh with his strong army and great forces will be no help to him in the war, when they put up earthworks and make strong walls for the cutting off of lives: 18 For he put his oath on one side in letting the agreement be broken; and though he had given his hand to it, he did all these things; he will not get away safe. 19 And so the Lord has said, By my life, truly, for my oath which he put on one side, and my agreement which has been broken, I will send punishment on his head. 20 My net will be stretched out over him, and he will be taken in my cords, and I will send him to Babylon, and there I will be his judge for the wrong which he has done against me. 21 All his best fighting-men will be put to the sword, and the rest will be sent away to every wind: and you will be certain that I the Lord have said it.
MKJV(i) 11 And the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying, 12 Say now to the rebellious house: Do you not know what these things mean? Tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon has come to Jerusalem and has taken its king and its rulers, and brings them to himself to Babylon. 13 And he has taken of the king's seed and has made a covenant with him, and has taken an oath from him. He has also taken the mighty of the land, 14 so that the kingdom might be low, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping his covenant it might stand. 15 But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, to give him horses and many people. Shall he be blessed? Shall he who does such things escape? Or shall he break the covenant and be delivered? 16 As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely in the place of the king who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. 17 Nor shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company work for him in the war, by pouring out siege mounds and building forts, to cut off many persons. 18 And he has despised the oath by breaking the covenant. And, behold, he had given his hand, and has done all these, he shall not escape. 19 Therefore so says the Lord Jehovah: As I live, surely My oath that he has despised, and My covenant that he has broken, I will even repay it on his own head. 20 And I will spread My net on him, and he shall be taken in My snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and I will judge him there with his sin which he has sinned against Me. 21 And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and those who remain shall be scattered toward all winds. And you shall know that I Jehovah have spoken.
LITV(i) 11 And the word of Jehovah was to me, saying, 12 Say now to the rebellious house, Do you not know what these mean ? But speak, Behold, the king of Babylon has come to Jerusalem, and has taken its king and its rulers, and has brought them to himself at Babylon. 13 And he took of the royal seed, and he has cut with him a covenant and has made him enter into an oath. And he took the mighty of the land, 14 that the kingdom might be low, that it might not lift itself up to keep its covenant, that it might stand. 15 But he rebelled against him in sending his messengers to Egypt, to give horses and many people to him. Shall he prosper? Shall he who does these things escape? Or shall he break the covenant and be delivered? 16 As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, Surely, in the place of the king who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, there he shall die with him in the midst of Babylon. 17 And Pharaoh shall not work for him with great army or great company in the war by pouring out mounds and building siege walls to cut off many souls. 18 And he has despised the oath by breaking the covenant. And, behold, he had given his hand, and he has done all these things. 19 So the Lord Jehovah says this: As I live, surely My oath that he has despised, and My covenant that he has broken, I will even give it on his head. 20 And I will spread My net over him, and he shall be taken in My snare. And I will bring him to Babylon. And I will judge him there with his treason which he has betrayed against Me. 21 And all his fugitives shall fall by the sword, with all his bands. And those who remain shall be scattered to every wind. And you shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken.
ECB(i) 11 And so be the word of Yah Veh to me, saying, 12 Say, I beseech, to the rebellious house, Know you not what these are? Tell, Behold, the sovereign of Babel comes to Yeru Shalem, and takes the sovereign and the governors and leads them with him to Babel: 13 and takes of the seed of the kingdom and cuts a covenant with him and takes an oath of him: he also takes the mighty of the land: 14 so that the sovereigndom becomes lowly - that it not lift itself; to guard his covenant, so that it stands. 15 And he rebels against him by sending his angels into Misrayim, so that they give him horses and much people. Prospers he? Escapes he who works such? Or, breaks he the covenant and escapes? 16 I live - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh in the place of the sovereign who has him reign - whose oath he despises and whose covenant he breaks, dies he not with him midst Babel? 17 Not even Paroh with his great valiant and great congregation works for him in the war by pouring mounds, and building battering towers to cut off many souls: 18 seeing he despises the oath by breaking the covenant, and behold, he gives his hand to work all these; he escapes not. 19 So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I live! My oath that he despises, and my covenant that he breaks, give I not on his own head? 20 And I spread my net on him and apprehend him in my lure; and I bring him to Babel, and there I plead with him for the treason he treasons against me: 21 and all his fugitives with all his bands fall by the sword; and scatter them who survive toward all winds: and you know that I Yah Veh have worded.

NSB(i) 11 Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me: 12 »Say now to the rebellious house: Do you not know what these things mean? Say, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and princes and brought them to him in Babylon. 13 »He took one of the royal family and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. He also took away the mighty of the land, 14 that the kingdom might be in subjection, not exalting itself, but keeping his covenant that it might continue. 15 »But he rebelled against him! He sent his envoys to Egypt that they might give him horses and many troops. Will he succeed? Will he who does such things escape? Can he indeed break the covenant and escape?’ 16 »‘»As I am alive,’ says the Lord Jehovah, ‘this king will die in Babylon because he broke his oath and the treaty with the one who put him on the throne the king of Babylon. 17 ‘»Even the powerful army of the king of Egypt will not be able to help him fight when the Babylonians build earthworks and dig trenches in order to kill many people. 18 ‘»He broke his oath and the treaty he had made. He did all these things, and now he will not escape.«’ 19 ‘»The Lord Jehovah says: »As surely as I am the living God, I will punish him for breaking the treaty that he swore in my name to keep. 20 ‘»I will spread out a hunter's net and catch him in it. I will take him to Babylon and punish him there, because he was unfaithful to me. 21 ‘»His best troops will be killed in battle, and the survivors will be scattered in every direction. I Jehovah have spoken.«’
ISV(i) 11 The Meaning of the ParableThis message came to me from the LORD: 12 “Tell my rebellious house, ‘Don’t you know what these things mean? Look! The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, captured her king and princes, and took them with him to Babylon. 13 Then he took one of the royal descendants, made a covenant with him, and put him under an oath of loyalty, taking the leaders of the land captive 14 in order to humiliate the kingdom so it wouldn’t be able to return to power, but would still be able to continue as long as he keeps his covenant. 15 But he rebelled against the king of Babylon by sending his messengers to Egypt to obtain horses and a large army. Will he succeed? Or will the one who did this escape? Will he break the covenant, but still be delivered?’”
16 God will Punish the King“As long as I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “in Babylon, that place where the king has enthroned him, whose oath he despised so as to break his covenant, he’ll die with him. 17 Pharaoh, with his massive army and large battalions won’t protect him when mounds and siege walls are built to destroy many people. 18 He despised the oath he had made and broke the covenant. Look! Because he willingly submitted, yet he has done all these things, he won’t escape.
19 Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says, “As long as I live, because he despised my oath and broke my covenant, he’s going to suffer the consequences. 20 I’ll spread my net over him so that he’ll be caught in my snare. I’ll bring him to Babylon and carry out my sentence there because of his treachery toward me. 21 The fugitives of his troops will die by the sword, and the survivors will be scattered to the four winds. Then you’ll know that I, the LORD, have spoken.”

Will he succeed? Will he escape doing these things, and can he break the covenant and escape? 16 As I live,'* declares* the Lord Yahweh, 'surely* in the place of the king who made* him king, who despised his oath and who broke his covenant with him—in the midst of Babylon he will die. 17 And not with a great army and with a great crowd will Pharaoh work* with him in the war, at the pouring out of a siege ramp and the building of siege works to destroy many lives. 18 And he despised the oath to break covenant.

Albanian(i) 11 Fjala e Zotit m'u drejtua përsëri, duke thënë: 12 "I thuaj, pra, kësaj shtëpie rebele: Nuk e merrni vesh çfarë kuptimi kanë këto gjëra?
Croatian(i) 11 Dođe mi riječ Jahvina: 12 "Reci domu odmetničkome: 'Zar ne znate što ovo znači?' Reci im: 'Eto, dođe kralj babilonski u Jeruzalem, zarobi mu kralja i sve knezove, odvede ih k sebi u Babilon. 17 Svojom silnom vojskom i mnoštvom naroda faraon mu neće pomoći u boju kad onaj digne nasipe i sagradi kule opsadne da mu zatre mnogo ljudstvo.
17 Aniž mu Farao s vojskem velikým a s zástupem mnohým co napomůže v boji, když vysype násyp, a vzdělá šance, aby zahubil množství lidí, 18 Poněvadž pohrdl přísahou, zrušiv smlouvu.

Li voye mesaje nan peyi Lejip al chache chwal ak anpil sòlda. Eske l'ap rive fè sa li vle fè a? Eske li ka soti nan sitiyasyon kote l' ye a? Depi li kase kontra a, fòk li peye l'. 16 Se mwen menm, Seyè sèl Mèt la, k'ap pale: Jan nou konnen mwen vivan vre a, wa a pral lavil Babilòn, paske li te kase kontra a, li pa t' respekte kondisyon li te pase ak wa lavil Babilòn lan ki te mete l' la pou gouvènen peyi a. 17 Farawon an te mèt vini ak yon gwo lame ansanm ak anpil sòlda, li p'ap ka ede l' goumen nan lagè a, lè moun Babilòn yo va vin moute ranblè ak fouye gwo kannal pou yo touye moun san gad dèyè.

Portuguese(i) 11 Então veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo: 12 Diz, pois, à casa rebelde: Não sabeis o que significam estas coisas?
