  3 H5437 ויסב turned H4428 המלך And the king H853 את   H6440 פניו his face, H1288 ויברך and blessed H853 את   H3605 כל the whole H6951 קהל congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H3605 וכל and all H6951 קהל the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5975 עומד׃ stood.
  4 H559 ויאמר And he said, H1288 ברוך Blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he spoke H6310 בפיו with his mouth H853 את   H1732 דויד David, H1 אבי my father H3027 ובידיו who hath with his hands H4390 מלא fulfilled H559 לאמר׃ saying,
  5 H4480 מן Since H3117 היום the day H834 אשׁר that H3318 הוצאתי I brought forth H853 את   H5971 עמי my people H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3808 לא no H977 בחרתי I chose H5892 בעיר city H3605 מכל among all H7626 שׁבטי the tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1129 לבנות to build H1004 בית a house H1961 להיות might be H8034 שׁמי in, that my name H8033 שׁם there; H3808 ולא neither H977 בחרתי chose H376 באישׁ I any man H1961 להיות to be H5057 נגיד a ruler H5921 על over H5971 עמי my people H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel:
  6 H977 ואבחר But I have chosen H3389 בירושׁלם Jerusalem, H1961 להיות might be H8034 שׁמי that my name H8033 שׁם there; H977 ואבחר and have chosen H1732 בדויד David H1961 להיות to be H5921 על over H5971 עמי my people H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel.
  7 H1961 ויהי Now it was H5973 עם in H3824 לבב the heart H1732 דויד of David H1 אבי my father H1129 לבנות to build H1004 בית a house H8034 לשׁם for the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  8 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה But the LORD H413 אל to H1732 דויד David H1 אבי my father, H3282 יען   H834 אשׁר   H1961 היה as it was H5973 עם in H3824 לבבך thine heart H1129 לבנות to build H1004 בית a house H8034 לשׁמי for my name, H2895 הטיבות thou didst well H3588 כי in that H1961 היה it was H5973 עם in H3824 לבבך׃ thine heart:
  9 H7535 רק Notwithstanding H859 אתה thou H3808 לא shalt not H1129 תבנה build H1004 הבית the house; H3588 כי but H1121 בנך thy son H3318 היוצא which shall come forth H2504 מחלציך thy loins, H1931 הוא he H1129 יבנה shall build H1004 הבית the house H8034 לשׁמי׃ for my name.
  10 H6965 ויקם therefore hath performed H3068 יהוה The LORD H853 את   H1697 דברו his word H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר he hath spoken: H6965 ואקום for I am risen up H8478 תחת in the room H1732 דויד of David H1 אבי my father, H3427 ואשׁב and am set H5921 על on H3678 כסא the throne H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר promised, H3068 יהוה the LORD H1129 ואבנה and have built H1004 הבית the house H8034 לשׁם for the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  11 H7760 ואשׂים have I put H8033 שׁם And in it H853 את   H727 הארון the ark, H834 אשׁר wherein H8033 שׁם wherein H1285 ברית the covenant H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר that H3772 כרת he made H5973 עם with H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  6 H977 [H8799] But I have chosen H3389 Jerusalem, H8034 that my name H977 [H8799] might be there; and have chosen H1732 David H5971 to be over my people H3478 Israel.
  7 H3824 Now it was in the heart H1732 of David H1 my father H1129 [H8800] to build H1004 an house H8034 for the name H3068 of the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel.
  8 H3068 But the LORD H559 [H8799] said H1732 to David H1 my father, H3824 Forasmuch as it was in thy heart H1129 [H8800] to build H1004 an house H8034 for my name, H2895 [H8689] thou didst well H3824 in that it was in thy heart:
  9 H7535 However H1129 [H8799] thou shalt not build H1004 the house; H1121 but thy son H3318 [H8802] who shall come forth H2504 out of thy loins, H1129 [H8799] he shall build H1004 the house H8034 for my name.
  10 H3068 The LORD H6965 [H8686] therefore hath raised H1697 his word H1696 [H8765] that he hath spoken: H6965 [H8799] for I am raised up H1732 in the stead of David H1 my father, H3427 [H8799] and am seated H3678 on the throne H3478 of Israel, H3068 as the LORD H1696 [H8765] promised, H1129 [H8799] and have built H1004 the house H8034 for the name H3068 of the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel.
  11 H8033 And in it H7760 [H8799] have I put H727 the ark, H1285 in which is the covenant H3068 of the LORD, H3772 [H8804] that he made H1121 with the sons H3478 of Israel.

ISV(i) 1 Solomon Dedicates the Temple
Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he lives shrouded in darkness. 2 Now I have constructed a magnificent temple dedicated to you that will serve as a place for you to inhabit forever.”
3 Then the king turned to face the entire congregation of Israel while the congregation of Israel remained standing. 4 Then Solomon prayed: “Blessed is the LORD God of Israel, who made a commitment to my father David and then personally fulfilled what he had promised when he said: 5 ‘From the day I brought out my people from the land of Egypt I never chose a city from all the tribes of Israel to build a temple where my name might reside. And I never chose any man to become Commander-in-Chief over my people Israel. 6 But I have chosen Jerusalem, where my name will reside. Salomon dit: L'Éternel a dit qu'il habiterait dans l'obscurité profonde. 2 Mais moi j'ai bâti une maison d'habitation pour toi, un lieu fixe pour que tu y demeures à toujours. 3 Et le roi tourna sa face, et bénit toute la congrégation d'Israël; et toute la congrégation d'Israël était debout. 4 Et il dit: Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, qui parla de sa bouche à David, mon père, et de sa main a accompli sa parole, disant: 5 Depuis le jour que j'ai fait sortir mon peuple du pays d'Égypte, je n'ai choisi aucune ville d'entre toutes les tribus d'Israël pour y bâtir une maison afin que mon nom y fût, et je n'ai pas choisi d'homme pour être prince sur mon peuple Israël; 6 mais j'ai choisi Jérusalem, afin que mon nom y soit; et j'ai choisi David pour être roi sur mon peuple Israël. 7 Et David, mon père, avait à coeur de bâtir une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. 8 Et l'Éternel dit à David, mon père: Puisque tu as eu à coeur de bâtir une maison pour mon nom, tu as bien fait de l'avoir eu à coeur; 9 toutefois, tu ne bâtiras pas la maison; mais ton fils qui sortira de tes reins, lui, bâtira une maison pour mon nom. 10 Et l'Éternel a accompli sa parole, qu'il a prononcée; et je me suis levé à la place de David, mon père, et je suis assis sur le trône d'Israël, comme l'Éternel l'a dit; et j'ai bâti la maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, 11 et j'y ai mis l'arche, où est l'alliance de l'Éternel, qu'il a faite avec les fils d'Israël.

Ukrainian(i) 1 Тоді Соломон проказав: Промовив Господь, що Він пробуватиме в мряці. 2 А я збудував храм оселі Твоєї, і місце Твого пробування навіки! 3 І повернув цар обличчя своє, та й поблагословив увесь Ізраїлів збір, увесь же Ізраїлів збір стояв. 4 А він сказав: Благословенний Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, що Своїми устами говорив був із моїм батьком Давидом, і руками Своїми виконав, кажучи: 5 Від того дня, коли Я вивів Свій народ з єгипетського краю, Я не вибрав Собі міста зо всіх Ізраїлевих племен, щоб збудувати храм на пробування Мого Імени там. І став я замість батька свого Давида та й сів на Ізраїлевому троні, як говорив був Господь, і я збудував оцей храм для Ймення Господа, Бога Ізраїлевого. 11 І поставив я там ковчега, що в ньому Господній заповіт, якого Він склав з Ізраїлевими синами.
