2 H8085 Hear [H8798] H8064 , O heavens H238 , and give ear [H8685] H776 , O earth H3068 : for the LORD H1696 hath spoken [H8765] H1431 , I have nourished [H8765] H7311 and brought up [H8790] H1121 children H6586 , and they have rebelled [H8804] against me.

3 H7794 The ox H3045 knoweth [H8804] H7069 his owner [H8802] H2543 , and the ass H1167 his master's H18 crib H3478 : but Israel H3045 doth not know [H8804] H5971 , my people H995 doth not consider [H8712] .

4 H1945 Ah H2398 sinful [H8802] H1471 nation H5971 , a people H3515 laden H5771 with iniquity H2233 , a seed H7489 of evildoers [H8688] H1121 , children H7843 that are corrupters [H8688] H5800 : they have forsaken [H8804] H853 H3068 the LORD H5006 , they have provoked H853 H6918 the Holy One H3478 of Israel H5006 unto anger [H8765] H2114 , they are gone away [H8738] H268 backward.

5 H5221 Why should ye be stricken [H8714] H5627 any more? ye will revolt H3254 more and more [H8686] H7218 : the whole head H2483 is sick H3824 , and the whole heart H1742 faint.

7 H776 Your country H8077 is desolate H5892 , your cities H8313 are burned [H8803] H784 with fire H127 : your land H2114 , strangers [H8801] H398 devour [H8802] H8077 it in your presence, and it is desolate H4114 , as overthrown H2114 by strangers [H8801] .

8 H1323 And the daughter H6726 of Zion H3498 is left [H8738] H5521 as a cottage H3754 in a vineyard H4412 , as a lodge H4750 in a garden of cucumbers H5341 , as a besieged [H8803] H5892 city.

9 H3884 Except H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H3498 had left [H8689] H4592 unto us a very small H8300 remnant H1961 , we should have been [H8804] H5467 as Sodom H1819 , and we should have been like [H8804] H6017 unto Gomorrah.

26 H7725 And I will restore [H8686] H8199 thy judges [H8802] H7223 as at the first H3289 , and thy counsellors [H8802] H8462 as at the beginning H310 : afterward H7121 thou shalt be called [H8735] H5892 , The city H6664 of righteousness H539 , the faithful [H8737] H7151 city.

27 H6726 Zion H6299 shall be redeemed [H8735] H4941 with judgment H7725 , and her converts [H8802] H6666 with righteousness.

28 H7667 And the destruction H6586 of the transgressors [H8802] H2400 and of the sinners H3162 shall be together H5800 , and they that forsake [H8802] H3068 the LORD H3615 shall be consumed [H8799] .

29 H954 For they shall be ashamed [H8799] H352 of the oaks H2530 which ye have desired [H8804] H2659 , and ye shall be confounded [H8799] H1593 for the gardens H977 that ye have chosen [H8804] .

30 H424 For ye shall be as an oak H5929 whose leaf H5034 fadeth [H8802] H1593 , and as a garden H4325 that hath no water.
