2532 και and 2112 ευθέως immediately 2808 εκλείσθησαν they locked 3588 αι the 2374 θύραι doors.   21:31   2212-1161 ζητούντων δε And seeking 1473-615 αυτόν αποκτείναι to kill him, 305 ανέβη [²ascended 5334 φάσις ¹a report] 3588 τω to the 5506 χιλιάρχω commander 3588 της of the 4686 σπείρης cohort, 3754 ότι that 3650 όλη all 4797-* συγκέχυται Ιερουσαλήμ Jerusalem was in tumult.   21:32   3739 ος Who 1824 εξαυτής immediately 3880 παραλαβών having taken 4757 στρατιώτας soldiers 2532 και and 1543 εκατοντάρχους centurions, 2701 κατέδραμεν ran down 1909 επ΄ upon 1473 αυτούς them. 3588-1161 οι δε And the ones 1492 ιδόντες beholding 3588 τον the 5506 χιλίαρχον commander 2532 και and 3588 τους the 4757 στρατιώτας soldiers, 3973 επαύσαντο ceased 5180 τύπτοντες beating 3588 τον   * Παύλον Paul.   21:33   1448-1161 εγγίσας δε And having approached, 3588 ο the 5506 χιλίαρχος commander 1949 επελάβετο took hold of 1473 αυτού him, 2532 και and 2753 εκέλευσε bid him 1210 δεθήναι to be tied 254 αλύσεσι [²chains 1417 δυσί ¹with two], 2532 και and 4441 επυνθάνετο to inquire about 5100 τις who 302-1510.4 αν είη he may be, 2532 και and 5100 τι what 1510.2.3 εστι he is 4160 πεποιηκώς doing.   21:34   243-1161-243-5100 άλλοι δε άλλο τι And others to another 994 εβόων were yelling 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 3793 όχλω multitude. 3361 μη [²not 1410 δυνάμενος ³being able 1161 δε ¹And] 1097 γνώναι to know 3588 το   804 ασφαλές safely 1223 διά because of 3588 τον the 2351 θόρυβον tumult, 2753 εκέλευσεν he bid them 71 άγεσθαι to lead 1473 αυτόν him 1519 εις unto 3588 την the 3925 παρεμβολήν camp.   21:35   3753-1161 ότε δε And when 1096 εγένετο he was 1909 επί at 3588 τους the 304 αναβάθμους stairs, 4819 συνέβη it happened 941-1473 βαστάζεσθαι αυτόν that he was borne 5259 υπό by 3588 των the 4757 στρατιωτών soldiers 1223 διά because of 3588 την the 970 βίαν force 3588 του of the 3793 όχλου multitude.   21:36   190 ηκολούθει [⁶followed 1063 γαρ ¹For 3588 το ²the 4128 πλήθος ³multitude 3588 του ⁴of the 2992 λαού ⁵people] 2896 κράζον crying out, 142 αίρε Take 1473 αυτόν him away!   21:37   3195-5037 μέλλων τε And being about 1521 εισάγεσθαι to be brought 1519 εις into 3588 την the 3925 παρεμβολήν camp, 3588 ο   * Παύλος Paul 3004 λέγει says 3588 τω to the 5506 χιλιάρχω commander, 1487 ει Is 1832 έξεστί it allowed 1473 μοι for me 2036 ειπείν to speak 4314 προς to 1473 σε you? 3588 ο   1161 δε And 5346 έφη he said, *-1097 Ελληνιστί γινώσκεις You know Greek?   21:38   3756 ουκ [²not 686 άρα ³then 1473-1510.2.2 συ ει ¹Are you] 3588 ο the * Αιγύπτιος Egyptian 3588 ο who 4253 προ before 3778 τούτων these 3588 των   2250 ημερών days 387 αναστατώσας overthrew, 2532 και and 1806 εξαγαγών led out 1519 εις into 3588 την the 2048 έρημον wilderness 3588 τους the 5070 τετρακισχιλίους four thousand 435 άνδρας men 3588 των of the * σικαρίων Sicari?   21:39   2036 είπε [³said 1161 δε ¹And 3588 ο   * Παύλος ²Paul], 1473 εγώ I am 444 άνθρωπος a man 3303 μεν indeed, 1510.2.1 ειμι I am * Ιουδαίος a Jew * Ταρσεύς of Tarsus 3588 της   * Κιλικίας of Cilicia, 3756 ουκ [²of not 767 ασήμου ³an unmarked 4172 πόλεως ⁴city 4177 πολίτης ¹a citizen]; 4183-1161 πολλής δε and with a great 4602 σιγής quietness 1096 γενομένης having taken place, 4377 προσεφώνησε he called out 3588 τη in the * Εβραϊδι Hebrew 1258 διαλέκτω dialect, 3004 λέγων saying,
