  20 G2400 Behold, G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G1451 is near G3588   G2703 for me to take refuge G1473   G1563 there, G3739 which G1510.2.3 is G3397 small, G1563 there G4982 I will be delivered. G3756 [2not G3397 3a small thing G1510.2.3 1Is it] G2532 that G2198 [2will live G3588   G5590 1my soul] G1473   G1752 because of G1473 you?
  21 G2532 And G2036 he said G1473 to him, G2400 Behold, G2296 I admired G1473 your G3588   G4383 countenance G1909 over G3588   G4487 this saying, G3778   G3588   G3361 that I should not G2690 eradicate G3588 the G4172 city, G4012 concerning G3739 of which G2980 you spoke.
  22 G4692 You hasten G3767 then G3588   G4982 to escape G1563 there, G3756 [3not G1063 1for G1410 2I will] be able G3588   G4160 to do G4229 the thing G2193 until G3588   G2064 you go G1473   G1563 there! G1223 On account G3778 of this G2564 he called G3588 the G3686 name G3588   G4172 of that city, G1565   G* Zoar.
  23 G3588 The G2246 sun G1831 came up G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 earth, G2532 and G* Lot G1525 entered G1519 into G* Zoar.
  24 G2532 And G2962 the lord G1026 rained G1909 upon G* Sodom G2532 and G* Gomorrah G2303 sulphur G2532 and G4442 fire G3844 from G2962 the lord G1537 from out of G3772 heaven.
  25 G2532 And G2690 he eradicated G3588   G4172 these cities, G3778   G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G4066 place round about, G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the ones G2730 dwelling G1722 in G3588 the G4172 cities, G2532 and G3588 the things G393 rising G1537 from out of G3588 the G1093 ground.
  26 G2532 And G1914 [2looked G3588   G1135 1his wife] G1473   G1519 unto G3588 the G3694 rear, G2532 and G1096 she became G4739.1 a monument G251 of salt.
  27 G3719 [3rose early G1161 1And G* 2Abraham] G4404 in the morning G1519 to G3588 the G5117 place G3739 of which G2476 he had stood G1726 before G2962 the lord .
  28 G2532 And G1914 he looked G1909 upon G4383 the face G* of Sodom G2532 and G* Gomorrah, G2532 and G1909 upon G4383 the face G3588 of the G4066 place round about. G2532 And G1492 he saw. G2532 And G2400 behold, G305 [2ascended G5395 1a flame] G1537 from out of G3588 the G1093 earth, G5616 as G822 vapor G2575 of a furnace.
  29 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G1722 in G3588   G1625.3 God obliterating G3588   G2316   G3956 all G3588 the G4172 [2cities G3588   G4040 1adjacent], G3403 God remembered G3588   G2316   G3588   G* Abraham, G2532 and G1821 he sent out G3588   G* Lot G1537 from G3319 the middle G3588 of the G2692 final event, G1722 in G3588 the G2690 eradicating G3588 the G4172 cities G1722 in G3739 which G2730 [2dwelt G1722 3in G1473 4them G* 1Lot].
  30 G1831 [3came forth G1161 1And G* 2Lot] G1537 from out of G* Zoar, G2532 and G2521 settled G1722 in G3588 the G3735 mountain, G2532 and G3588 the G1417 two G2364 daughters G1473 of his G3326 with G1473 him; G5399 for he feared G1063   G2730 dwelling G1722 in G* Zoar. G2532 And G2730 he dwelt G1722 in G3588 the G4693 cave, G1473 he G2532 and G3588 the G1417 two G2364 daughters G1473 of his G3326 with G1473 him.

  22 H4116 [H8761] Haste H4422 [H8734] thee, escape H3201 [H8799] there; for I cannot H6213 [H8800] do H1697 any thing H935 [H8800] till thou hast come H8034 there. Therefore the name H5892 of the city H7121 [H8804] was called H6820 Zoar.
  23 H8121 The sun H3318 [H8804] had risen H776 upon the earth H3876 when Lot H935 [H8804] entered H6820 into Zoar.
  24 H3068 Then the LORD H4305 [H8689] rained H5467 upon Sodom H6017 and upon Gomorrah H1614 brimstone H784 and fire H3068 from the LORD H8064 out of heaven;
25 H2015 [H8799] And he overthrew H411 those H5892 cities, H3603 and all the plain, H3427 [H8802] and all the inhabitants H5892 of the cities, H6780 and that which grew H127 upon the soil.
26 H802 But his wife H5027 [H8686] looked back H310 from behind him, H5333 and she became a pillar H4417 of salt.
27 H85 And Abraham H7925 [H8686] rose early H1242 in the morning H4725 to the place H5975 [H8804] where he stood H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD:
28 H8259 [H8686] And he looked H6440 toward H5467 Sodom H6017 and Gomorrah, H6440 and toward H776 all the land H3603 of the plain, H7200 [H8799] and beheld, H7008 and, lo, the smoke H776 of the land H5927 [H8804] went up H7008 as the smoke H3536 of a furnace.
29 H430 And it came to pass, when God H7843 [H8763] decayed H5892 the cities H3603 of the plain, H430 that God H2142 [H8799] remembered H85 Abraham, H7971 [H8762] and sent H3876 Lot H8432 out of the midst H2018 of the overthrow, H2015 [H8800] when he overthrew H5892 the cities H2004 in which H3876 Lot H3427 [H8804] dwelt.
30 H3876 And Lot H5927 [H8799] went up H6820 from Zoar, H3427 [H8799] and dwelt H2022 in the mountain, H8147 and his two H1323 daughters H3372 [H8804] with him; for he feared H3427 [H8800] to dwell H6820 in Zoar: H3427 [H8799] and he dwelt H4631 in a cave, H8147 he and his two H1323 daughters.

Thomson(i) 20 Behold that city is nigh for me to flee to. It is little and thither I can escape. Is it not little? And my soul shall live by thy means. 21 And he said, Behold I have indulged thee also in this matter, so as not to destroy that city of which thou hast spoken. 22 Haste therefore to escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou get there. For this cause he called the name of that city, Segor. 23 The sun was risen on the earth when Lot entered Segor; 24 and the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorra brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven. 25 And he overthrew these cities, and all the circumjacent country, and all the inhabitants of those cities, and all the productions of the ground. 26 And Lot's wife having looked back was turned into a pillar of salt. 27 And Abraham went early in the morning to the place, where he had stood before the Lord, 28 and he looked towards Sodom and Gomorra and towards the circumjacent plain, and he beheld and lo! a flame ascended out of the earth like the smoke of a furnace. 29 But when God destroyed all the cities of that neighbourhood he remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out from that destruction. Now when the Lord had destroyed those cities in which Lot had dwelt, 30 Lot went up out of Segor, and he and his two daughters with him settled in the mountains; for he was afraid to dwell in Segor. So he and his two daughters with him took up their abode in a cave.

For this reason, the town was named Zoar. 23 The sun was up when Lot came to Zoar. 24 Then the Lord sent fire and flaming smoke raining down from heaven on Sodom and Gomorrah. 25 And he sent destruction on those towns, with all the lowland and all the people of those towns and every green thing in the land. 26 But Lot's wife, looking back, became a pillar of salt. 27 And Abraham got up early in the morning and went to the place where he had been talking with the Lord: 28 And looking in the direction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the lowland, he saw the smoke of the land going up like the smoke of an oven. 29 So it came about that when God sent destruction on the towns of the lowland, he kept his word to Abraham, and sent Lot safely away when he put an end to the towns where he was living. 30 Then Lot went up out of Zoar to the mountain, and was living there with his two daughters, for fear kept him from living in Zoar: and he and his daughters made their living-place in a hole in the rock.

Escape thither! for I can work no word until you come there - so they call the name of the city Soar. 23 The sun rises on the earth and Lot enters Soar: 24 and Yah Veh rains sulphur and fire on Sedom and on Amorah from Yah Veh from the heavens; 25 and he overturns those cities and all the environs; and all who settle the cities and all that sprouts on the soil: 26 but his woman looks back from behind him and she becomes a statue of salt. 27 And Abraham starts early in the morning to the place where he stood at the face of Yah Veh: 28 and he looks at the face of Sedom and Amorah and at the face of all the land of the environs; and sees, and behold, the smoke of the land ascends as the smoke of a furnace. 29 And so be it, as Elohim ruins the cities of the environs, Elohim remembers Abraham; and sends Lot from midst the overturning in overturning the cities in which Lot settled: 30 and Lot ascends from Soar and settles in the mountain with his two daughters; for he awes to settle in Soar: and he settles in a cave - he and his two daughters.

I cannot do anything until you get there.« The city is named Zoar [Small]. 23 The sun had just risen over the land as Lot came to Zoar. 24 Jehovah made burning sulfur and fire rain out of the sky on Sodom and Gomorrah. 25 He destroyed those cities, the whole Plain, all who lived in the cities, and whatever grew on the ground. 26 Lot’s wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt. 27 Early the next morning Abraham came to the place where he had stood in front of Jehovah. 28 He looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and all the land in the Plain. He saw smoke rising from the land like the thick smoke of a furnace. 29 When God destroyed the cities of the valley where Lot was living, he kept Abraham in mind and allowed Lot to escape to safety. 30 Lot was afraid to stay in Zoar. So he and his two daughters moved up into the hills and lived in a cave.
ISV(i) 20 Look, there is a town nearby where I can flee, and it’s a small one. Let me escape there! It’s a small one, isn’t it? That way I’ll stay alive!”
21 “All right,” the angel replied to Lot, “I’ll agree with your request! I won’t overthrow the town that you mentioned. 22 Hurry up and flee there, because I cannot do anything until you get to that town.” Therefore the name of the town was called Zoar.
23 Lot’s Wife Becomes a Pillar of SaltThe sun had risen over the land about the time Lot reached Zoar. 24 Then the LORD rained sulfur and fire out of the sky from the LORD on Sodom and Gomorrah, 25 overthrowing those cities, all of the plain, and everyone who lived in the cities. He also destroyed the plants that grew out of the ground. 26 But Lot’s wife looked back as she lingered behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the LORD earlier. 28 He looked off toward Sodom, Gomorrah, and the entire plain, and he saw smoke rising from the land like smoke from a furnace. 29 And so it was that, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham and brought Lot out from the midst of the destruction when he overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.
30 The Origin of Moab and AmmonLater on, Lot and his two daughters abandoned Zoar and settled in the hills because Lot was afraid to live in Zoar. He lived there in a cave, along with his two daughters.

Therefore, there name of the city was called Zoar. 23 After the sun had risen* upon the earth and Lot had entered Zoar, 24 Yahweh rained down from heaven upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Yahweh. 25 And he overthrew those cities and the whole plain, and the inhabitants of the cities and the vegetation of the ground. 26 But his* wife looked back,* and she became a pillar of salt. 27 And Abraham arose early in the morning and went to the place where he had stood before Yahweh. 28 And he looked down upon the surface of Sodom and Gomorrah, and upon the whole surface of the land, the plain. And he saw that,* behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a smelting furnace. 29 So it was, when God destroyed the cities of the plain that God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out from the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot lived. 30 And Lot went out from Zoar and settled in the hill country* with his two daughters, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. Run there quickly, for I cannot do anything until you reach it.” That is why the town was called Zoar. 23 And by the time the sun had risen over the land, Lot had reached Zoar. 24 Then the LORD rained down sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 Thus He destroyed these cities and the entire plain, including all the inhabitants of the cities and everything that grew on the ground. 26 But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. 27 Early the next morning, Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the LORD. 28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and all the land of the plain, and he saw the smoke rising from the land like smoke from a furnace. 29 So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, He remembered Abraham, and He brought Lot out of the catastrophe that destroyed the cities where he had lived. 30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains—for he was afraid to stay in Zoar—where they lived in a cave.

MLV(i) 20 Behold now, this city is near to flee to and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul will live.
21 And he said to him, Behold, I have lifted up you concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken. 22 You hasten, escape there, because I cannot do anything till you have come there. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot came to Zoar. 24 Then Jehovah rained brimstone and fire upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah, from Jehovah out of heaven. 25 And he overthrew those cities and all the Plain and all the inhabitants of the cities and what grew upon the ground. 26 But his wife looked back from behind him and she became a pillar of salt.
27 And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the face of Jehovah. 28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the Plain and saw it. And behold, the smoke of the land went up as the smoke of a furnace.
29 And it happened, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham and that he sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt. 30 And Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountain and his two daughters with him, because he feared to dwell in Zoar. And he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
VIN(i) 20 "There is a small village nearby. Please let me go there instead. Do you see how small it is? Then my life will be saved." 21 The angel said to him: »All right, I will grant you this request too. I will not destroy the city you are talking about. 22 "Run there quickly! I cannot do anything until you get there." The city is named Zoar [Small]. 23 The sun rises on the earth and Lot enters Soar: 24 And the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 And He overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all those living in the cities, and the produce of the ground. 26 But his wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. 27 Early the next morning Abraham came to the place where he had stood in front of the LORD. 28 He looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and all the land in the Plain. He saw smoke rising from the land like the thick smoke of a furnace. 29 When God destroyed the cities of the plain, God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the middle of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot lived. 30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and lived in the mountain, and his two daughters with him. For he feared to live in Zoar, and he and his two daughters lived in a cave.

On i njegove dvije kćeri živjeli su u pećini.

A z té příčiny nazváno jest jméno města toho Ségor. 23 Slunce vzcházelo nad zemi, když Lot všel do Ségor.

Portuguese(i) 20 Eis ali perto aquela cidade, para a qual eu posso fugir, e é pequena.
