Mark 12 And he began to speak unto them in parables. A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and digged a pit for the winepress, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country.

2 G2532 And G2540 at the season G649 he sent G4314 to G1092 the husbandmen G1401 a servant, G2443 that G2983 he might receive G3844 from G1092 the husbandmen G575 of G2590 the fruits G290 of the vineyard.

3 G1161 And G2983 they took G2532 him, and G1194 beat G846 him, G649 and sent G649 him away G2756 empty.

4 G2532 And G3825 again G649 he sent G4314 unto G846 them G243 another G1401 servant; G2548 and him G3036 they G2775 wounded G2775 in the head, G2532 and G649 G821 handled G649 shamefully.

5 G2532 And G649 he sent G243 another; G2532 and G2548 him G615 they killed: G1161 and G4183 many G243 others; G1194 beating G3303 some, G1161 and G615 killing G3588 some.

6 G3767 He G2192 had G2089 yet G1520 one, G846 a G27 beloved G5207 son: G649 he sent G846 him G2532 G2078 last G4314 unto G846 them, G3004 saying, G1788 They will reverence G3450 my G3754 son.

7 G1161 But G1565 those G1092 husbandmen G2036 said G4314 among G3754 themselves, G3778 This G2076 is G2818 the heir; G1205 come, G615 let us kill G846 him, G2532 and G2817 the inheritance G2071 shall be G2257 ours.

8 G2532 And G2983 they took G846 him, G615 and killed G846 him, G2532 and G1544 cast G1854 him forth out of G290 the vineyard.

9 G5101 What G3767 therefore G2962 will G2962 the lord G290 of the vineyard G4160 do? G2064 he will come G2532 and G622 destroy G1092 the husbandmen, G2532 and G1325 will give G290 the vineyard G243 unto others.

10 G314 Have ye G3761 not G314 read G3778 even this G1124 scripture: G3037 The stone G3739 which G3618 the builders G593 rejected, G3778 The same was G1096 made G1519 the G2776 head G1137 of the corner;

11 G3778 This G3844 was G1096 from G2962 the Lord, G2532 And G2076 it is G2298 marvellous G1722 in G2257 our G3788 eyes?

12 G2532 And G2212 they sought G2902 to lay hold G846 on him; G2532 and G5399 they feared G3793 the multitude; G1063 for G1097 they perceived G3754 that G2036 he spake G3850 the parable G4314 against G846 them: G863 and they left G846 him, G2532 and G565 went away.

14 G1161 And when G2064 they were come, G3004 they say G846 unto him, G1320 Teacher, G1492 we know G3754 that G1488 thou art G227 true, G2532 and G3756 G3199 carest G4671 not G4012 for G3762 any one; G1063 for G991 thou regardest G3756 not G1519 G4383 the person G444 of men, G235 but G1519 of a G225 truth G1321 teachest G3598 the way G2316 of God: G1832 Is it lawful G1325 to give G2778 tribute G2541 unto Caesar, G2228 or G3756 not?

15 G1325 Shall we give, G2228 or G1325 shall we G3361 not G1325 give? G1161 But G3588 he, G1492 knowing G846 their G5272 hypocrisy, G2036 said G846 unto them, G5101 Why G3985 make ye G3427 trial of me? G5342 bring G3165 me G1220 a denarius, G2443 that G1492 I may see it.

16 G1161 And G5342 they brought G2532 it. And G3004 he saith G846 unto them, G5101 Whose G3778 is this G1504 image G2532 and G1923 superscription? G1161 And G2036 they said G846 unto him, G2541 Caesar's.

17 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G2036 said G846 unto them, G591 Render G2541 unto Caesar G3588 the things that are G2541 Caesar's, G2532 and G2316 unto God G3588 the things that are G2316 God's. G2532 And G2296 they marvelled G1909 greatly at G846 him.

18 G2532 And G2064 there come G4314 unto G846 him G4523 Sadducees, G3748 who G3004 say G1511 that there is G3361 no G386 resurrection; G2532 and G1905 they asked G846 him, G3004 saying,

21 G2532 and G1208 the second G2983 took G846 her, G2532 and G2532 died, G863 leaving G3761 no G4690 seed G846 behind him; G2532 and G5154 the third G5615 likewise:

22 G2532 and G2033 the seven G863 left G3756 no G4690 seed. G2078 Last G3956 of all G1135 the woman G2532 also G599 died.

23 G1722 In G386 the resurrection G3767 G5101 whose G1135 wife G2071 shall she be G846 of them? G1063 for G2033 the seven G2192 had G846 her G1135 to wife.

24 G2424 Jesus G2036 said G611 unto G846 them, G3756 Is it not G5124 for this cause G4105 that ye G4105 err, G4105 that ye G1492 know G3361 not G1124 the scriptures, G3366 nor G1411 the power G2316 of God?

27 G2076 He is G3756 not G2316 the God G3498 of the dead, G235 but G2316 G2198 of the living: G5210 ye G4105 do G4183 greatly G4105 err.

28 G2532 And G1520 one G1122 of the scribes G4334 came, G191 and heard G846 them G4802 questioning together, G1492 and knowing G3754 that G611 he had answered G846 them G2573 well, G1905 asked G846 him, G1785 What commandment G2076 is G4413 the first G3956 of all?

29 G2424 Jesus G611 answered, G3754 The G4413 first G191 is, Hear, G2474 O Israel; G2962 The Lord G2257 our G2316 God, G2962 the Lord G2076 is G1520 one:

31 G2532 The G1208 second G3664 is G846 this, G25 Thou shalt love G4675 thy G4139 neighbor G5613 as G4572 thyself. G2076 There is G3756 none G243 other G1785 commandment G3187 greater G3778 than these.

34 G2532 And G2424 when Jesus G1492 saw G3754 that G611 he answered G3562 discreetly, G2036 he said G846 unto him, G1488 Thou art G3756 not G3112 far G575 from G932 the kingdom G2316 of God. G2532 And G3762 no man G3765 after that G5111 durst G1905 ask G846 him G846 any question.

35 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G611 answered G3004 and said, G1321 as he taught G1722 in G2411 the temple, G4459 How G3004 say G1122 the scribes G3754 that G5547 the Christ G2076 is G5207 the son G1138 of David?

41 G2532 And G2424 he G2523 sat G2713 down over against G1049 the treasury, G2334 and beheld G4459 how G3793 the multitude G906 cast G5475 money G1519 into G1049 the treasury: G2532 and G4183 many G4145 that were rich G906 cast G4183 in much.

42 G2532 And G2064 there came G1520 a G4434 poor G5503 widow, G906 and she cast in G1417 two G3016 mites, G3739 which G2076 make G2835 a farthing.

43 G2532 And G4341 he called G846 unto him his G3101 disciples, G3004 and said G846 unto them, G281 Verily G3004 I say G5213 unto you, G3754 G3778 This G4434 poor G5503 widow G906 cast G906 in G4119 more G3956 than all G3588 they that G906 are casting G1519 into G1049 the treasury:

44 G1063 for G3956 they all G906 did cast in G1537 of G846 their G4052 superfluity; G1161 but G846 she G1537 of G846 her G5304 want G906 did cast in G3956 all G3745 that G2192 she had, G3650 even all G846 her G3778 living.
