  4 G2532 And G2501 Joseph G1161 also G305 went up G575 from G1056 Galilee, G1537 out of G4172 the city G3478 of Nazareth, G1519 into G2449 Judaea, G1519 to G4172 the city G1138 of David, G3748 which G2564 is called G965 Bethlehem, G1223 because G846 he G1511 was G1537 of G3624 the house G2532 and G3965 family G1138 of David;
  5 G583 to enrol G4862 himself with G3137 Mary, G3423 who was betrothed G1135 to G846 him, G5607 being G1471 great with child.
  6 G1161 And G1096 it came G1722 to pass, while G846 they G1511 were G1563 there, G2250 the days G4130 were fulfilled G846 that she G5088 should be delivered.
  7 G2532 And G5088 she brought forth G846 her G4416 firstborn G5207 son; G2532 and G4683 she wrapped G846 him G4683 in swaddling clothes, G2532 and G347 laid G846 him G1722 in G5336 a manger, G1360 because G2258 there was G3756 no G5117 room G846 for them G1722 in G2646 the inn.

  24 G2532 and G1325 to offer G2378 a sacrifice G2596 according to G2046 that which is said G1722 in G3551 the law G2962 of the Lord, G2201 A pair G5167 of turtledoves, G2228 or G1417 two G3502 young G4058 pigeons.
  25 G2532 And G2400 behold, G2258 there was G444 a man G1722 in G2419 Jerusalem, G3739 whose G3686 name G4826 was Simeon; G2532 and G3778 this G444 man G1342 was righteous G2532 and G2126 devout, G4327 looking G3874 for the consolation G2474 of Israel: G2532 and G4151 the G40 Holy G4151 Spirit G2258 was G1909 upon G846 him.
  26 G2532 And G2258 it had been G5537 revealed G846 unto him G5259 by G4151 the G40 Holy G4151 Spirit, G1492 that he should G3361 not G1492 see G2288 death, G4250 before G1492 he had seen G5547 the G2962 Lord's G5547 Christ.
  27 G2532 And G2064 he came G1722 in G4151 the Spirit G1519 into G2411 the temple: G2532 and G1722 when G1118 the parents G1521 brought in G3813 the child G2424 Jesus, G4160 that they might do G4012 concerning G846 him G2596 after G1480 the custom G846 of the law,

  36 G2532 And G2258 there was G451 one Anna, G4398 a prophetess, G2364 the daughter G5323 of Phanuel, G1537 of G5443 the tribe G768 of Asher G846 (she G4260 was of G4183 a great G4260 age, G2198 having lived G3326 with G435 a husband G2033 seven G2094 years G575 from G846 her G1722 virginity,
  37 G2532 and G846 she G5503 had been a widow G5613 even unto G3589 fourscore and four G2094 years), G3739 who G868 departed G3756 not G575 from G2411 the temple, G3000 worshipping G3521 with fastings G2532 and G1162 supplications G3571 night G2532 and G3778 day.
  38 G2532 And G2186 coming up G846 at that G5610 very hour G846 she G437 gave thanks G2962 unto God, G2532 and G2980 spake G4012 of G846 him G3956 to all G4327 them that were looking G3085 for the redemption G1722 of G3778 Jerusalem.
  39 G2532 And G5613 when G5055 they had accomplished G537 all things G2596 that were according to G3551 the law G2962 of the Lord, G5290 they returned G1519 into G1056 Galilee, G1519 to G846 their own G4172 city G3478 Nazareth.
  40 G1161 And G3813 the child G837 grew, G2532 and G4151 waxed G2901 strong, G4137 filled G4678 with wisdom: G2532 and G5485 the grace G2316 of God G2258 was G1909 upon G846 him.
  41 G2532 And G846 his G1118 parents G4198 went G2596 every G2094 year G1519 to G2419 Jerusalem G1859 at the feast G3957 of the passover.

  43 G2532 and G846 when they G5048 had fulfilled G2250 the days, G1722 as G846 they G5290 were returning, G3816 the boy G2424 Jesus G5278 tarried behind G1722 in G2419 Jerusalem; G2532 and G846 his G2501   G3384 parents G1097 knew G3756 it not;
  44 G1161 but G3543 supposing G846 him G1511 to be G1722 in G4923 the company, G2064 they went G2250 a day's G3598 journey; G2532 and G327 they sought G846 for him G1722 among G4773 their kinsfolk G2532 and G1110 acquaintance:
  45 G2532 and G2147 when they found G846 him G3361 not, G5290 they returned G1519 to G2419 Jerusalem, G2212 seeking G846 for him.
  46 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass, G3326 after G5140 three G2250 days G2147 they found G846 him G1722 in G2411 the temple, G2516 sitting G1722 in G3319 the midst G1320 of the teachers, G2532 both G191 hearing G846 them, G2532 and G1905 asking G846 them G1905 questions:
  47 G1161 and G3956 all G191 that heard G846 him G1839 were amazed G1909 at G846 his G4907 understanding G2532 and G612 his answers.
  48 G2532 And G1492 when they saw G846 him, G1605 they were astonished; G2532 and G846 his G3384 mother G2036 said G4314 unto G846 him, G5043 Son, G5101 why G4160 hast thou G3779 thus G4160 dealt G2254 with us? G2400 behold, G4675 thy G3962 father G2504 and I G2212 sought G4571 thee G3600 sorrowing.
  49 G2532 And G2036 he said G4314 unto G846 them, G5101 How G3754 is it that G2212 ye sought G3165 me? G1492 knew ye G3756 not G3754 that G3165 I G1163 must G1511 be G1722 in G3450 my G3962 Father's G3588 house?
  50 G2532 And G846 they G4920 understood G3756 not G4487 the saying G3739 which G2980 he spake G846 unto them.
  51 G2532 And G2597 he went down G3326 with G846 them, G2532 and G2064 came G1519 to G3478 Nazareth; G2532 and G2258 he was G5293 subject unto G846 them: G2532 and G846 his G3384 mother G1301 kept G3956 all G5023 these G4487 sayings G1722 in G846 her G2588 heart.
  52 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G4298 advanced G4678 in wisdom G2532 and G2244 stature, G2532 and G5485 in favor G3844 with G2316 God G2532 and G444 men.
