Deuteronomy 28 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God , to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day , that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

4 H1288 Blessed [H8803] H6529 shall be the fruit H990 of thy body H6529 , and the fruit H127 of thy ground H6529 , and the fruit H929 of thy cattle H7698 , the increase H504 of thy kine H6251 , and the flocks H6629 of thy sheep.

5 H1288 Blessed [H8803] H2935 shall be thy basket H4863 and thy store.

6 H1288 Blessed [H8803] H935 shalt thou be when thou comest in [H8800] H1288 , and blessed [H8803] H3318 shalt thou be when thou goest out [H8800] .

7 H3068 The LORD H5414 shall cause [H8799] H341 thine enemies [H8802] H6965 that rise up [H8801] H5062 against thee to be smitten [H8737] H6440 before thy face H3318 : they shall come out [H8799] H259 against thee one H1870 way H5127 , and flee [H8799] H6440 before H7651 thee seven H1870 ways.

8 H3068 The LORD H6680 shall command [H8762] H1293 the blessing H618 upon thee in thy storehouses H4916 , and in all that thou settest H3027 thine hand H1288 unto; and he shall bless [H8765] H776 thee in the land H3068 which the LORD H430 thy God H5414 giveth [H8802] thee.

9 H3068 The LORD H6965 shall establish [H8686] H6918 thee an holy H5971 people H7650 unto himself, as he hath sworn [H8738] H8104 unto thee, if thou shalt keep [H8799] H4687 the commandments H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H1980 , and walk [H8804] H1870 in his ways.

10 H5971 And all people H776 of the earth H7200 shall see [H8804] H7121 that thou art called [H8738] H8034 by the name H3068 of the LORD H3372 ; and they shall be afraid [H8804] of thee.

13 H3068 And the LORD H5414 shall make [H8804] H7218 thee the head H2180 , and not the tail H4605 ; and thou shalt be above only H4295 , and thou shalt not be beneath H8085 ; if that thou hearken [H8799] H4687 unto the commandments H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H6680 , which I command [H8764] H3117 thee this day H8104 , to observe [H8800] H6213 and to do [H8800] them :

14 H5493 And thou shalt not go aside [H8799] H1697 from any of the words H6680 which I command [H8764] H3117 thee this day H3225 , to the right hand H8040 , or to the left H3212 , to go [H8800] H310 after H312 other H430 gods H5647 to serve [H8800] them.

15 H8085 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken [H8799] H6963 unto the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H8104 , to observe [H8800] H6213 to do [H8800] H4687 all his commandments H2708 and his statutes H6680 which I command [H8764] H3117 thee this day H7045 ; that all these curses H935 shall come [H8804] H5381 upon thee, and overtake [H8689] thee:

20 H3068 The LORD H7971 shall send [H8762] H3994 upon thee cursing H4103 , vexation H4045 , and rebuke H4916 , in all that thou settest H3027 thine hand H6213 unto for to do [H8799] H8045 , until thou be destroyed [H8736] H6 , and until thou perish [H8800] H4118 quickly H6440 ; because H7455 of the wickedness H4611 of thy doings H5800 , whereby thou hast forsaken [H8804] me.

22 H3068 The LORD H5221 shall smite [H8686] H7829 thee with a consumption H6920 , and with a fever H1816 , and with an inflammation H2746 , and with an extreme burning H2719 , and with the sword H7711 , and with blasting H3420 , and with mildew H7291 ; and they shall pursue [H8804] H6 thee until thou perish [H8800] .

23 H8064 And thy heaven H7218 that is over thy head H5178 shall be brass H776 , and the earth H1270 that is under thee shall be iron.

24 H3068 The LORD H5414 shall make [H8799] H4306 the rain H776 of thy land H80 powder H6083 and dust H8064 : from heaven H3381 shall it come down [H8799] H8045 upon thee, until thou be destroyed [H8736] .

25 H3068 The LORD H5414 shall cause [H8799] H5062 thee to be smitten [H8737] H6440 before H341 thine enemies [H8802] H3318 : thou shalt go out [H8799] H259 one H1870 way H5127 against them, and flee [H8799] H7651 seven H1870 ways H6440 before H2189 them: and shalt be removed H4467 into all the kingdoms H776 of the earth.

26 H5038 And thy carcase H3978 shall be meat H5775 unto all fowls H8064 of the air H929 , and unto the beasts H776 of the earth H2729 , and no man shall fray them away [H8688] .

27 H3068 The LORD H5221 will smite [H8686] H7822 thee with the botch H4714 of Egypt H2914 , and with the emerods [H8675] H6076 H1618 , and with the scab H2775 , and with the itch H3201 , whereof thou canst [H8799] H7495 not be healed [H8736] .

32 H1121 Thy sons H1323 and thy daughters H5414 shall be given [H8803] H312 unto another H5971 people H5869 , and thine eyes H7200 shall look [H8802] H3616 , and fail H3117 with longing for them all the day H410 long: and there shall be no might H3027 in thine hand.

33 H6529 The fruit H127 of thy land H3018 , and all thy labours H5971 , shall a nation H3045 which thou knowest [H8804] H398 not eat up [H8799] H6231 ; and thou shalt be only oppressed [H8803] H7533 and crushed [H8803] H3117 alway:

34 H7696 So that thou shalt be mad [H8794] H4758 for the sight H5869 of thine eyes H7200 which thou shalt see [H8799] .

35 H3068 The LORD H5221 shall smite [H8686] H1290 thee in the knees H7785 , and in the legs H7451 , with a sore H7822 botch H3201 that cannot [H8799] H7495 be healed [H8736] H3709 , from the sole H7272 of thy foot H6936 unto the top of thy head.

36 H3068 The LORD H3212 shall bring [H8686] H4428 thee, and thy king H6965 which thou shalt set [H8686] H1471 over thee, unto a nation H1 which neither thou nor thy fathers H3045 have known [H8804] H5647 ; and there shalt thou serve [H8804] H312 other H430 gods H6086 , wood H68 and stone.

37 H8047 And thou shalt become an astonishment H4912 , a proverb H8148 , and a byword H5971 , among all nations H3068 whither the LORD H5090 shall lead [H8762] thee.

38 H3318 Thou shalt carry H7227 much H2233 seed H3318 out [H8686] H7704 into the field H622 , and shalt gather H4592 but little H622 in [H8799] H697 ; for the locust H2628 shall consume [H8799] it.

39 H5193 Thou shalt plant [H8799] H3754 vineyards H5647 , and dress [H8804] H8354 them, but shalt neither drink [H8799] H3196 of the wine H103 , nor gather [H8799] H8438 the grapes; for the worms H398 shall eat [H8799] them.

40 H2132 Thou shalt have olive trees H1366 throughout all thy coasts H5480 , but thou shalt not anoint [H8799] H8081 thyself with the oil H2132 ; for thine olive H5394 shall cast [H8799] his fruit .

41 H3205 Thou shalt beget [H8686] H1121 sons H1323 and daughters H3212 , but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go [H8799] H7628 into captivity.

42 H6086 All thy trees H6529 and fruit H127 of thy land H6767 shall the locust H3423 consume [H8762] .

43 H1616 The stranger H7130 that is within H5927 thee shall get up [H8799] H4605 above thee very H4605 high H3381 ; and thou shalt come down [H8799] H4295 very H4295 low.

44 H3867 He shall lend [H8686] H3867 to thee, and thou shalt not lend [H8686] H7218 to him: he shall be the head H2180 , and thou shalt be the tail.

46 H226 And they shall be upon thee for a sign H4159 and for a wonder H2233 , and upon thy seed H5704 for H5769 ever.

47 H5647 Because thou servedst [H8804] H3068 not the LORD H430 thy God H8057 with joyfulness H2898 , and with gladness H3824 of heart H7230 , for the abundance of all things;

50 H1471 A nation H5794 of fierce H6440 countenance H5375 , which shall not regard [H8799] H6440 the person H2205 of the old H2603 , nor shew favour [H8799] H5288 to the young:

54 H376 So that the man H7390 that is tender H3966 among you, and very H6028 delicate H5869 , his eye H3415 shall be evil [H8799] H251 toward his brother H802 , and toward the wife H2436 of his bosom H3499 , and toward the remnant H1121 of his children H3498 which he shall leave [H8686] :

57 H7988 And toward her young one H3318 that cometh out [H8802] H7272 from between her feet H1121 , and toward her children H3205 which she shall bear [H8799] H398 : for she shall eat [H8799] H2640 them for want H5643 of all things secretly H4692 in the siege H4689 and straitness H341 , wherewith thine enemy [H8802] H6693 shall distress [H8686] H8179 thee in thy gates.

58 H8104 If thou wilt not observe [H8799] H6213 to do [H8800] H1697 all the words H8451 of this law H3789 that are written [H8803] H5612 in this book H3372 , that thou mayest fear [H8800] H3513 this glorious [H8737] H3372 and fearful [H8737] H8034 name H3068 , THE LORD H430 THY GOD;

59 H3068 Then the LORD H6381 will make H4347 thy plagues H6381 wonderful [H8689] H4347 , and the plagues H2233 of thy seed H1419 , even great H4347 plagues H539 , and of long continuance [H8737] H7451 , and sore H2483 sicknesses H539 , and of long continuance [H8737] .

60 H7725 Moreover he will bring [H8689] H4064 upon thee all the diseases H4714 of Egypt H3025 , which thou wast afraid [H8804] H6440 of H1692 ; and they shall cleave [H8804] unto thee.

61 H2483 Also every sickness H4347 , and every plague H3789 , which is not written [H8803] H5612 in the book H8451 of this law H3068 , them will the LORD H5927 bring [H8686] H8045 upon thee, until thou be destroyed [H8736] .

62 H7604 And ye shall be left [H8738] H4592 few H4962 in number H834 , whereas H3556 ye were as the stars H8064 of heaven H7230 for multitude H8085 ; because thou wouldest not obey [H8804] H6963 the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God.

63 H3068 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD H7797 rejoiced [H8804] H3190 over you to do you good [H8687] H7235 , and to multiply [H8687] H3068 you; so the LORD H7797 will rejoice [H8799] H6 over you to destroy [H8687] H8045 you, and to bring you to nought [H8687] H5255 ; and ye shall be plucked [H8738] H127 from off the land H935 whither thou goest [H8802] H3423 to possess [H8800] it.

64 H3068 And the LORD H6327 shall scatter [H8689] H5971 thee among all people H7097 , from the one end H776 of the earth H7097 even unto the other H5647 ; and there thou shalt serve [H8804] H312 other H430 gods H1 , which neither thou nor thy fathers H3045 have known [H8804] H6086 , even wood H68 and stone.

65 H1992 And among these H1471 nations H7280 shalt thou find no ease [H8686] H3709 , neither shall the sole H7272 of thy foot H4494 have rest H3068 : but the LORD H5414 shall give [H8804] H7268 thee there a trembling H3820 heart H3631 , and failing H5869 of eyes H1671 , and sorrow H5315 of mind:

66 H2416 And thy life H8511 shall hang [H8803] H5048 in doubt before H6342 thee; and thou shalt fear [H8804] H3119 day H3915 and night H539 , and shalt have none assurance [H8686] H2416 of thy life:

67 H1242 In the morning H559 thou shalt say [H8799] H5414 , Would God it were [H8799] H6153 even H6153 ! and at even H559 thou shalt say [H8799] H5414 , Would God it were [H8799] H1242 morning H6343 ! for the fear H3824 of thine heart H6342 wherewith thou shalt fear [H8799] H4758 , and for the sight H5869 of thine eyes H7200 which thou shalt see [H8799] .

68 H3068 And the LORD H7725 shall bring H4714 thee into Egypt H7725 again [H8689] H591 with ships H1870 , by the way H559 whereof I spake [H8804] H7200 unto thee, Thou shalt see [H8800] H3254 it no more again [H8686] H4376 : and there ye shall be sold [H8694] H341 unto your enemies [H8802] H5650 for bondmen H8198 and bondwomen H7069 , and no man shall buy [H8802] you .

13 H5414 ונתנך shall make H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7218 לראשׁ thee the head, H3808 ולא and not H2180 לזנב the tail; H1961 והיית and thou shalt be H7535 רק only, H4605 למעלה above H3808 ולא and thou shalt not H1961 תהיה be H4295 למטה beneath; H3588 כי if H8085 תשׁמע that thou hearken H413 אל unto H4687 מצות the commandments H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום thee this day, H8104 לשׁמר to observe H6213 ולעשׂות׃ and to do

26 H1961 והיתה shall be H5038 נבלתך And thy carcass H3978 למאכל meat H3605 לכל unto all H5775 עוף fowls H8064 השׁמים of the air, H929 ולבהמת and unto the beasts H776 הארץ of the earth, H369 ואין and no man H2729 מחריד׃ shall frighten away.

57 H7988 ובשׁליתה And toward her young one H3318 היוצת that cometh out H996 מבין from between H7272 רגליה her feet, H1121 ובבניה and toward her children H834 אשׁר which H3205 תלד she shall bear: H3588 כי for H398 תאכלם she shall eat H2640 בחסר them for want H3605 כל of all H5643 בסתר secretly H4692 במצור in the siege H4689 ובמצוק and straitness, H834 אשׁר wherewith H6693 יציק shall distress H341 לך איבך thine enemy H8179 בשׁעריך׃ thee in thy gates.

59 H6381 והפלא wonderful, H3068 יהוה Then the LORD H853 את H4347 מכתך will make thy plagues H853 ואת H4347 מכות and the plagues H2233 זרעך of thy seed, H4347 מכות plagues, H1419 גדלת great H539 ונאמנות and of long continuance, H2483 וחלים sicknesses, H7451 רעים and sore H539 ונאמנים׃ and of long continuance.

60 H7725 והשׁיב Moreover he will bring H853 בך את H3605 כל upon thee all H4064 מדוה the diseases H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H834 אשׁר which H3025 יגרת thou wast afraid H6440 מפניהם of; H1692 ודבקו׃ and they shall cleave

61 H1571 גם Also H3605 כל every H2483 חלי sickness, H3605 וכל and every H4347 מכה plague, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not H3789 כתוב written H5612 בספר in the book H8451 התורה law, H2063 הזאת of this H5927 יעלם bring H3068 יהוה them will the LORD H5921 עליך upon H5704 עד thee, until H8045 השׁמדך׃ thou be destroyed.

62 H7604 ונשׁארתם And ye shall be left H4962 במתי in number, H4592 מעט few H8478 תחת whereas H834 אשׁר whereas H1961 הייתם ye were H3556 ככוכבי as the stars H8064 השׁמים of heaven H7230 לרב for multitude; H3588 כי because H3808 לא thou wouldest not H8085 שׁמעת obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.

63 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H834 כאשׁר as H7797 שׂשׂ rejoiced H3068 יהוה the LORD H5921 עליכם over H3190 להיטיב H853 אתכם H7235 ולהרבות and to multiply H853 אתכם H3651 כן you; so H7797 ישׂישׂ will rejoice H3068 יהוה the LORD H5921 עליכם over H6 להאביד you to destroy H853 אתכם H8045 ולהשׁמיד H853 אתכם H5255 ונסחתם and ye shall be plucked H5921 מעל from off H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתה thou H935 בא goest H8033 שׁמה whither H3423 לרשׁתה׃ to possess

64 H6327 והפיצך shall scatter H3068 יהוה And the LORD H3605 בכל thee among all H5971 העמים people, H7097 מקצה from the one end H776 הארץ of the earth H5704 ועד even unto H7097 קצה H776 הארץ H5647 ועבדת thou shalt serve H8033 שׁם and there H430 אלהים gods, H312 אחרים other H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא neither H3045 ידעת have known, H859 אתה thou H1 ואבתיך nor thy fathers H6086 עץ wood H68 ואבן׃ and stone.

65 H1471 ובגוים nations H1992 ההם And among these H3808 לא shalt thou find no ease, H7280 תרגיע shalt thou find no ease, H3808 ולא neither H1961 יהיה have H4494 מנוח rest: H3709 לכף shall the sole H7272 רגלך of thy foot H5414 ונתן shall give H3068 יהוה but the LORD H8033 לך שׁם thee there H3820 לב heart, H7268 רגז a trembling H3631 וכליון and failing H5869 עינים of eyes, H1671 ודאבון and sorrow H5315 נפשׁ׃ of mind:

66 H1961 והיו shall hang H2416 חייך And thy life H8511 תלאים in doubt H5048 לך מנגד before H6342 ופחדת thee; and thou shalt fear H3915 לילה and night, H3119 ויומם day H3808 ולא and shalt have none assurance H539 תאמין and shalt have none assurance H2416 בחייך׃ of thy life:
