Jeremiah 17 The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the tablet of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;

2 H1121 While their sons H2142 [H8800] remember H4196 their altars H842 and their groves H7488 by the green H6086 trees H1364 upon the high H1389 hills.

3 H2042 O my mountain H7704 in the field, H5414 [H8799] I will give H2428 thy substance H214 and all thy treasures H957 to the spoil, H1116 and thy high places H2403 for sin, H1366 throughout all thy borders.

4 H8058 [H8804] And thou, even thyself, shall discontinue H5159 from thine inheritance H5414 [H8804] that I gave H5647 [H8689] thee; and I will cause thee to serve H341 [H8802] thine enemies H776 in the land H3045 [H8804] which thou knowest H6919 [H8804] not: for ye have kindled H784 a fire H639 in my anger, H3344 [H8714] which shall burn H5704 for H5769 ever.

6 H6199 For he shall be like the heath H6160 in the desert, H7200 [H8799] and shall not see H2896 when good H935 [H8799] cometh; H7931 [H8804] but shall inhabit H2788 the parched places H4057 in the wilderness, H4420 in a salt H776 land H3427 [H8799] and not inhabited.

7 H1288 [H8803] Blessed H1397 is the man H982 [H8799] that trusteth H3068 in the LORD, H4009 and whose hope H3068 the LORD is.

8 H6086 For he shall be as a tree H8362 [H8803] planted H4325 by the waters, H7971 [H8762] and that spreadeth out H8328 her roots H3105 by the river, H7200 [H8799] and shall not see H2527 when heat H935 [H8799] cometh, H5929 but her leaf H7488 shall be green; H1672 [H8799] and shall not be anxious H8141 in the year H1226 of drought, H4185 [H8686] neither shall cease H6213 [H8800] from yielding H6529 fruit.

10 H3068 I the LORD H2713 [H8802] search H3820 the heart, H974 [H8802] I try H3629 the kidneys, H5414 [H8800] even to give H376 every man H1870 according to his ways, H6529 and according to the fruit H4611 of his doings.

11 H7124 As the partridge H1716 [H8804] sitteth H3205 [H8804] on eggs, and hatcheth H6213 [H8802] them not; so he that getteth H6239 riches, H4941 and not by right, H5800 [H8799] shall leave H2677 them in the midst H3117 of his days, H319 and at his end H5036 shall be a fool.

12 H3519 A glorious H4791 high H3678 throne H7223 from the beginning H4725 is the place H4720 of our sanctuary.

13 H3068 O LORD, H4723 the hope H3478 of Israel, H5800 [H8802] all that forsake H954 [H8799] thee shall be pale, H3249 and they that depart H5493 [H8803] from me H3789 [H8735] shall be written H776 in the earth, H5800 [H8804] because they have forsaken H3068 the LORD, H4726 the fountain H2416 of living H4325 waters.

14 H7495 [H8798] Heal H3068 me, O LORD, H7495 [H8735] and I shall be healed; H3467 [H8685] liberate H3467 [H8735] me, and I shall be liberated: H8416 for thou art my praise.

15 H559 [H8802] Behold, they say H1697 to me, Where is the word H3068 of the LORD? H935 [H8799] let it come now.

20 H559 [H8804] And say H8085 [H8798] to them, Hear H1697 ye the word H3068 of the LORD, H4428 ye kings H3063 of Judah, H3063 and all Judah, H3427 [H8802] and all the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem, H935 [H8802] that enter H8179 by these gates:

21 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H3068 the LORD; H8104 [H8734] Take heed H5315 to yourselves, H5375 [H8799] and bear H4853 no burden H7676 on the sabbath H3117 day, H935 [H8689] nor bring H8179 it in by the gates H3389 of Jerusalem;

25 H935 [H8804] Then shall there enter H8179 into the gates H5892 of this city H4428 kings H8269 and princes H3427 [H8802] sitting H3678 upon the throne H1732 of David, H7392 [H8802] riding H7393 in chariots H5483 and on horses, H8269 they, and their princes, H376 the men H3063 of Judah, H3427 [H8802] and the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem: H5892 and this city H3427 [H8804] shall remain H5769 to the age.

26 H935 [H8804] And they shall come H5892 from the cities H3063 of Judah, H5439 and from the places about H3389 Jerusalem, H776 and from the land H1144 of Benjamin, H8219 and from the plain, H2022 and from the mountains, H5045 and from the south, H935 [H8688] bringing H5930 burnt offerings, H2077 and sacrifices, H4503 and meat offerings, H3828 and incense, H935 [H8688] and bringing H8426 sacrifices of praise, H1004 to the house H3068 of the LORD.

27 H8085 [H8799] But if ye will not hearken H6942 [H8763] to me to hallow H7676 the sabbath H3117 day, H5375 [H8800] and not to bear H4853 a burden, H935 [H8800] even entering H8179 at the gates H3389 of Jerusalem H7676 on the sabbath H3117 day; H3341 [H8689] then will I kindle H784 a fire H8179 in its gates, H398 [H8804] and it shall devour H759 the palaces H3389 of Jerusalem, H3518 [H8799] and it shall not be quenched.
