  2 H1697 To whom the word H3068 of the LORD H3117 came in the days H2977 of Josiah H1121 the son H526 of Amon H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H7969 H6240 in the thirteenth H8141 year H4427 [H8800] of his reign.
  3 H3117 It came also in the days H3079 of Jehoiakim H1121 the son H2977 of Josiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H8552 [H8800] to the end H6249 H6240 of the eleventh H8141 year H6667 of Zedekiah H1121 the son H2977 of Josiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H1540 0 to the carrying away H3389 of Jerusalem H1540 [H8800] captive H2549 in the fifth H2320 month.
  4 H1697 Then the word H3068 of the LORD H559 [H8800] came to me, saying,
  5 H2962 Before H3335 [H8799] I formed H990 thee in the womb H3045 [H8804] I knew H3318 H7358 [H8799] thee; and before thou wast born H6942 [H8689] I sanctified H5414 [H8804] thee, and I ordained H5030 thee a prophet H1471 to the nations.
  6 H559 [H8799] Then said H162 I, Ah, H136 Sovereign H3069 LORD! H3045 [H8804] behold, I cannot H1696 [H8763] speak: H5288 for I am a child.
  7 H3068 But the LORD H559 [H8799] said H559 [H8799] to me, Say H5288 not, I am a child: H3212 [H8799] for thou shalt go H7971 [H8799] to all that I shall send H6680 [H8762] thee, and whatever I command H1696 [H8762] thee thou shalt speak.
  8 H3372 [H8799] Be not afraid H6440 of their faces: H5337 [H8687] for I am with thee to deliver H5002 [H8803] thee, saith H3068 the LORD.
  9 H3068 Then the LORD H7971 [H8799] put forth H3027 his hand, H5060 [H8686] and touched H6310 my mouth. H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H5414 [H8804] to me, Behold, I have put H1697 my words H6310 in thy mouth.
  10 H7200 [H8798] See, H3117 I have this day H6485 [H8689] set H1471 thee over the nations H4467 and over the kingdoms, H5428 [H8800] to pluck out, H5422 [H8800] and to pull down, H6 [H8687] and to destroy, H2040 [H8800] and to throw down, H1129 [H8800] to build, H5193 [H8800] and to plant.
  11 H1697 Moreover the word H3068 of the LORD H559 [H8800] came to me, saying, H3414 Jeremiah, H7200 [H8802] what seest H559 [H8799] thou? And I said, H7200 [H8802] I see H4731 a rod H8247 of an almond tree.
  12 H559 [H8799] Then said H3068 the LORD H3190 [H8689] to me, Thou hast well H7200 [H8800] seen: H8245 [H8802] for I will hasten H1697 my word H6213 [H8800] to perform it.
  13 H1697 And the word H3068 of the LORD H8145 came to me the second time, H559 [H8800] saying, H7200 [H8802] What seest H559 [H8799] thou? And I said, H7200 [H8802] I see H5301 [H8803] a boiling H5518 pot; H6440 and its face H6440 is toward H6828 the north.
  14 H3068 Then the LORD H559 [H8799] said H6828 to me, Out of the north H7451 an evil H6605 [H8735] shall break forth H3427 [H8802] upon all the inhabitants H776 of the land.
  15 H7121 [H8802] For, lo, I will call H4940 all the families H4467 of the kingdoms H6828 of the north, H5002 [H8803] saith H3068 the LORD; H935 [H8804] and they shall come, H5414 [H8804] and they shall set H376 every one H3678 his throne H6607 at the entrance H8179 of the gates H3389 of Jerusalem, H2346 and against all its walls H5439 on every side, H5892 and against all the cities H3063 of Judah.
  16 H1696 [H8765] And I will utter H4941 my judgments H5921 against them concerning H7451 all their evil, H5800 [H8804] who have forsaken H6999 [H8762] me, and have burned incense H312 to other H430 gods, H7812 [H8691] and worshipped H4639 the works H3027 of their own hands.
  17 H247 [H8799] Thou therefore gird up H4975 thy loins, H6965 [H8804] and arise, H1696 [H8765] and speak H6680 [H8762] to them all that I command H2865 [H8735] thee: be not dismayed H6440 at their faces, H2865 [H8686] lest I confound H6440 thee at the face of them.
  18 H589 For, behold, I H5414 [H8804] have made H3117 thee this day H4013 a fortified H5892 city, H1270 and an iron H5982 pillar, H5178 and brasen H2346 walls H776 against the whole land, H4428 against the kings H3063 of Judah, H8269 against its princes, H3548 against its priests, H5971 and against the people H776 of the land.
  19 H3898 [H8738] And they shall fight H3201 [H8799] against thee; but they shall not prevail H5002 [H8803] against thee; for I am with thee, saith H3068 the LORD, H5337 [H8687] to deliver thee.
