Jeremiah 12 Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me speak with thee of thy judgments: Why doth the way of the wicked prosper? why are they all happy that deal very treacherously?

2 H5193 [H8804] Thou hast planted H8327 [H8776] them, yea, they have taken root: H3212 [H8799] they grow, H6213 [H8804] yea, they bring forth H6529 fruit: H7138 thou art near H6310 in their mouth, H7350 and far from H3629 their kidneys.

3 H3068 But thou, O LORD, H3045 [H8804] knowest H7200 [H8799] me: thou hast seen H974 [H8804] me, and tried H3820 my heart H5423 [H8685] toward thee: pull them out H6629 like sheep H2878 for the slaughter, H6942 [H8685] and sanctify H3117 them for the day H2028 of slaughter.

4 H776 How long shall the land H56 [H8799] mourn, H6212 and the herbs H7704 of every field H3001 [H8799] wither, H7451 for the evil H3427 [H8802] of them that dwell H929 in it? the beasts H5595 [H8804] are consumed, H5775 and the birds; H559 [H8804] because they said, H7200 [H8799] He shall not see H319 our last end.

5 H7323 [H8804] If thou hast run H7273 with the footmen, H3811 [H8686] and they have wearied H8474 [H8807] thee, then how canst thou contend H5483 with horses? H776 and if in the land H7965 of peace, H982 [H8802] in which thou didst trust, H6213 [H8799] they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do H1347 in the swelling H3383 of Jordan?

6 H251 For even thy brethren, H1004 and the house H1 of thy father, H898 [H8804] even they have dealt treacherously H7121 [H8804] with thee; yea, they have called H4392 a multitude H310 after H539 [H8686] thee: believe H1696 [H8762] them not, though they speak H2896 fair words to thee.

15 H310 And it shall come to pass, after H5428 [H8800] I have plucked them out H7725 [H8799] I will return, H7355 [H8765] and have compassion H7725 [H8689] on them, and will bring them again, H376 every man H5159 to his inheritance, H376 and every man H776 to his land.

16 H3925 [H8800] And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently H3925 [H8799] learn H1870 the ways H5971 of my people, H7650 [H8736] to swear H8034 by my name, H3068 The LORD H2416 liveth; H3925 [H8765] as they taught H5971 my people H7650 [H8736] to swear H1168 by Baal; H1129 [H8738] then shall they be built H8432 in the midst H5971 of my people.

17 H8085 [H8799] But if they will not obey, H5428 [H8800] I will utterly H5428 [H8804] pluck up H6 [H8763] and destroy H1471 that nation, H5002 [H8803] saith H3068 the LORD.
