Follow all the rules for the Passover when you celebrate it. ¹³ »‘If you are clean and not on a trip and yet do not bother to celebrate the Passover, you must be excluded from the people. You did not bring your offering to Jehovah at the right time. You must suffer the consequences for your sin. ¹⁴ »‘Foreigners living with you may want to celebrate Jehovah’s Passover. They must follow these same rules and regulations. The same rules will apply to foreigners and native-born Israelites.’«

ISV⁽ⁱ⁾ ² “The Israelis are to observe the Passover at its appointed time ³ on the fourteenth day of this month. You are to observe it at this appointed time between the evenings. You are to observe it according to all its decrees and laws.”
⁴ So Moses instructed the Israelis to observe the Passover. ⁵ They observed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight, in the Wilderness of Sinai. The Israelis did everything that the LORD had commanded through Moses.
⁶ Special Passover RulesBut there were men who couldn’t observe the Passover that day because they had come in contact with a corpse. That very day, they approached Moses and Aaron ⁷ and asked, “Why can’t we bring an offering to the LORD at the appointed time among the Israelis, even though we are unclean because we came in contact with a corpse?”
⁸ “Wait while I hear what the LORD has to say about you,” Moses replied.
⁹ Then the LORD told Moses, ¹⁰ “Instruct the Israelis that when any of you or your descendants becomes unclean due to contact with a corpse, or if he is on a long journey, he nevertheless is to observe the LORD’s Passover. ¹¹ On the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight, they are to eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. ¹² They are not to leave any of it to remain until morning nor are they to break any of its bones. They are to observe it according to all the statutes of the Passover. ¹³ Now as to the person who is clean and isn’t traveling, but fails to observe the Passover, that person is to be eliminated from his people, because he didn’t bring an offering to the LORD at its appointed time. That person is to bear his sin. ¹⁴ If a resident alien lives with you and wants to observe the LORD’s Passover, let him observe it according to the statutes and laws of the Passover. You are to maintain the same statute for the resident alien as you do for the native of the land.”

⁹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ¹⁰ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, If any man of you* or of your* genealogy will be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be on a journey afar off, yet he will keep the Passover to Jehovah. ¹¹ In the second month on the fourteenth day at evening they will keep it. They will eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. ¹² They will leave none of it to the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they will keep it. ¹³ But the man who is clean and is not on a journey and forbears to keep the Passover, that soul will be cut off from his people, because he did not offer the oblation of Jehovah in its appointed season; that man will bear his sin. ¹⁴ And if a stranger will journey among you* and will keep the Passover to Jehovah, according to the statute of the Passover and according to the ordinance of it, so will he do. You* will have one statute, both for the traveler and for him who is born in the land.

Si presentarono in quello stesso giorno davanti a Mosè e davanti ad Aaronne; ⁷ e quegli uomini dissero a Mosè: "Noi siamo impuri per aver toccato un morto; perché ci sarebb’egli tolto di poter presentare l’offerta dell’Eterno, al tempo stabilito, in mezzo ai figliuoli d’Israele?" ⁸ E Mosè rispose loro: "Aspettate, e sentirò quel che l’Eterno ordinerà a vostro riguardo". ⁹ E l’Eterno parlò a Mosè, dicendo: ¹⁰ "Parla ai figliuoli d’Israele, e di’ loro: Se uno di voi o de’ vostri discendenti sarà impuro per il contatto con un morto o sarà lontano in viaggio, celebrerà lo stesso la pasqua in onore dell’Eterno. ¹¹ La celebreranno il quattordicesimo giorno del secondo mese, sull’imbrunire; la mangeranno con del pane senza lievito e con delle erbe amare; ¹² non ne lasceranno nulla di resto fino al mattino, e non ne spezzeranno alcun osso. La celebreranno secondo tutte le leggi della pasqua. ¹³ Ma colui ch’è puro e che non è in viaggio, se s’astiene dal celebrare la pasqua, quel tale sarà sterminato di fra il suo popolo; siccome non ha presentato l’offerta all’Eterno nel tempo stabilito, quel tale porterà la pena del suo peccato. ¹⁴ E se uno straniero che soggiorna tra voi celebra la pasqua dell’Eterno, si conformerà alle leggi e alle prescrizioni della pasqua. Avrete un’unica legge, per lo straniero e per il nativo del paese".

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ² І нехай справлять Ізраїлеві сини Пасху в означений час. ³ Чотирнадцятого дня цього місяця надвечір справите її означеного часу його, за всіма постановами її та за всіма уставами її спорядите її. ⁴ І Мойсей промовляв до Ізраїлевих синів, щоб справили Пасху. ⁵ І справили вони Пасху першого місяця, чотирнадцятого дня місяця надвечір у Сінайській пустині, усе, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві, так зробили Ізраїлеві сини. ⁶ Та були люди, що були нечисті від дотику до тіла померлої людини, і не могли справити Пасху того дня. Чому ми будемо позбавлені ласки принести жертву Господню означеного часу серед Ізраїлевих синів? ⁸ І сказав до них Мойсей: Постійте, а я послухаю, що Господь накаже про вас. ⁹ І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи: ¹⁰ Промовляй до Ізраїлевих синів, говорячи: Кожен чоловік із вас, або з ваших нащадків, коли буде нечистий через дотик до мертвого тіла, або буде в далекій дорозі, то й він справить Пасху для Господа. ¹¹ Місяця другого, чотирнадцятого дня надвечір спорядять вони її, з опрісноками та з гірким зіллям будуть їсти її. ¹² Не позоставлять із неї до ранку, а костей не зламають у ній, за повною постановою Пасхи справлять її. ¹³ А чоловік, який чистий, а в дорозі не є, і стримається споряджати Пасху, то буде винищена душа та з народу її, бо Господньої жервти він не приніс означеного часу її. Гріх свій понесе той чоловік! ¹⁴ А коли перебуватиме з вами приходько, то справить він Пасху для Господа, за постановою про Пасху та за уставом про неї, так зробить. Постанова одна буде для вас, і для приходька, і для тубільця землі.
