Eu zic:,Hotărîrile Mele vor rămînea în picioare, şi Îmi voi aduce la îndeplinire toată voia Mea. ¹¹ Eu chem dela răsărit o pasăre de pradă, dintr'o ţară depărtată, un om ca să împlinească planurile Mele: da, Eu am spus, şi Eu voi împlini; Eu am plănuit şi Eu voi înfăptui. ¹² Ascultaţi-Mă, oameni cu inima împietrită, vrăjmaşi ai neprihănirii! ¹³ Eu Îmi apropii neprihănirea: nu este departe; şi mîntuirea Mea nu va zăbovi. Те, що колись ви носили, накладене, мов той тягар на худобу помучену. ² Зігнулися й разом упали вони на коліна; не могли врятувати тягара, і самі до полону пішли... ³ Почуйте Мене, доме Яковів, та ввесь залишку дому Ізраїлевого, яких від живота Я підняв, носив від утроби, ⁴ і Я буду Той Самий до старости вашої, і до сивини вас носитиму, Я вчинив, і Я буду носити, й Я двигатиму й порятую! ⁵ До кого Мене ви вподобите та прирівняєте, до кого подібним Мене ви учините, щоб схожому бути? ⁶ Ті, що золото сиплють з киси, срібло ж важать вагою, винаймлюють золотаря, щоб із того їм бога зробив, і перед ним вони падають та поклоняються, ⁷ носять його на плечі, підіймають його, і ставлять його на місці його. І стоїть, і з місця свого він не рухається; коли ж хто до нього кричить, то він не відповість, і не врятує його від недолі. ⁸ Пам'ятайте про це та змужнійте, візьміть це на розум, провинники! ⁹ Пам'ятайте про давнє, відвічне, бо Я Бог, і немає більш Бога, й нікого, як Я, ¹⁰ що звіщаю кінець від початку, і наперед що не сталося ще, і що говорю: Мій замір відбудеться, і всяке жадання Своє Я вчиню, ¹¹ що хижого птаха зо сходу прикликую, з краю далекого мужа Своєї поради! Так, Я сказав те й спроваджу, що Я задумав був теє зроблю! ¹² Почуйте Мене, твердосерді, далекі від справедливости! ¹³ Я Свою справедливість наблизив, вона недалеко, а спасіння Моє не припізниться, і дам на Сіоні спасіння, дам Ізраїлеві Свою велич!
