Demikianlah raja dan seluruh rakyat mengadakan upacara penyerahan rumah ibadat itu kepada TUHAN. ⁶ Para imam berdiri pada tempat yang ditetapkan bagi mereka; berhadapan dengan orang Lewi yang memuji TUHAN dengan alat-alat musik yang dibuat oleh Raja Daud, sambil menyanyikan nyanyian "Kasih-Nya Kekal Abadi!" sesuai dengan anjuran Daud. Para imam meniup trompet sementara seluruh rakyat berdiri. ⁷ Lalu bagian tengah dari pelataran yang di depan rumah ibadat itu diserahkan Salomo kepada TUHAN. Kemudian ia mempersembahkan di situ kurban bakaran, kurban gandum dan lemak binatang untuk kurban perdamaian. Semua itu dipersembahkannya di situ karena mezbah perunggu yang telah dibuatnya terlalu kecil untuk semua persembahan itu. ⁸ Salomo dan seluruh umat Israel mengadakan perayaan Pondok Daun selama tujuh hari. Sangat besar jumlah orang yang berkumpul untuk perayaan itu. Mereka datang dari daerah sejauh Jalan Hamat di utara sampai ke perbatasan Mesir di selatan. ⁹ Tujuh hari lamanya mereka berkumpul untuk upacara peresmian mezbah TUHAN, kemudian tujuh hari lagi untuk perayaan Pondok Daun. Şi tot Israelul era de faţă. ⁷ Solomon a sfinţit şi mijlocul curţii, care este înaintea Casei Domnului; căci acolo a adus arderile de tot şi grăsimile jertfelor de mulţămire, pentrucă altarul de aramă, pe care -l făcuse Solomon, nu putea cuprinde arderile de tot, darurile de mîncare şi grăsimile. ⁸ Solomon a prăznuit sărbătoarea în vremea aceea şapte zile, şi tot Israelul a prăznuit împreună cu el; venise o mare mulţime de oameni, dela intrarea Hamatului pînă la pîrîul Egiptului. ⁹ În ziua a opta, au avut o adunare de sărbătoare; căci sfinţirea altarului au făcut -o şapte zile, şi sărbătoarea tot şapte zile.

І виконали обряд освячення Божого дому цар та ввесь народ. ⁶ А священики стояли на вартах своїх, а Левити зо знаряддями Господньої пісні, що поробив цар Давид на подяку Господеві, Бо навіки Його милосердя, коли Давид хвалив ними; і священики сурмили навпроти них, а ввесь Ізраїль стояв... ⁷ І посвятив Соломон середину подвір'я, що перед Господнім домом, бо приніс там цілопалення та лій мирних жертв, бо мідяний жертівник, якого зробив Соломон, не міг умістити цілопалення й хлібної жертви та лою. ⁸ І справив Соломон того часу те свято на сім день, а ввесь Ізраїль був з ним, дуже великий збір, що зійшовся звідти, де йдеться до Хамату, аж до єгипетського потоку. ⁹ А восьмого дня справили віддання свята, бо обряд освячення жертівника справляли сім день, і свято сім день.
