  1 G2532 And G537 the whole G4128 company G846 of them G450 rose G71 up, and brought G846 him G1909 before G4091 Pilate.
  2 G1161 And G756 they began G2723 to accuse G846 him, G3004 saying, G2147 We found G5126 this G1294 man perverting G1484 our nation, G2532 and G2967 forbidding G1325 to give G5411 tribute G2541 to Caesar, G3004 and saying G1438 that he himself G1511 is G5547 Christ G935 a king.
  3 G1161 And G4091 Pilate G1905 asked G846 him, G3004 saying, G1488 Art G4771 thou G935 the King G2453 of the Jews? G1161 And G611 he answered G846 him G5346 and said, G4771 Thou G3004 sayest.
  4 G1161 And G4091 Pilate G2036 said G4314 unto G749 the chief priests G2532 and G3793 the multitudes, G2147 I find G3762 no G158 fault G1722 in G5129 this G444 man.
  5 G1161 But G2001 they were the more urgent, G3754 saying, G383 He stirreth up G2992 the people, G1321 teaching G2596 throughout G3650 all G2449 Judaea, G756 and beginning G575 from G1056 Galilee G2193 even unto G5602 this place.
  6 G1161 But when G4091 Pilate G191 heard G1056 it, G1905 he asked G1487 whether G444 the man G2076 were G1057 a Galilaean.
  7 G2532 And G1921 when he knew G3754 that G2076 he was G1537 of G2264 Herod's G1849 jurisdiction, G375 he sent G846 him G1537 unto G2264 Herod, G846 who himself G2532 also G5607 was G1722 at G2414 Jerusalem G1722 in G3778 these G2250 days.
  8 G1161 Now when G2264 Herod G1492 saw G2424 Jesus, G5463 he was G3029 exceeding G5463 glad: G1063 for G2258 he was G1537 of G2425 a long G2309 time desirous G1492 to see G846 him, G1223 because G191 he had heard G4183   G4012 concerning G846 him; G2532 and G1679 he hoped G1492 to see G5100 some G4592 miracle G1096 done G5259 by G846 him.
  9 G1161 And G846 he G1905 questioned G846 him G1722 in G2425 many G3056 words; G1161 but G611 he answered G846 him G3762 nothing.
  10 G1161 And G749 the chief priests G2532 and G1122 the scribes G2476 stood, G2723   G2159 vehemently G2723 accusing G846 him.
  11 G1161 And G2264 Herod G4862 with G846 his G4753 soldiers G1848 set G846 him G1848 at nought, G2532 and G1702 mocked G4016 him, and arraying G846 him G2986 in gorgeous G2066 apparel G375 sent G846 him G375 back G4091 to Pilate.
  12 G1161 And G2264 Herod G2532 and G4091 Pilate G1096 became G5384 friends G5037 with G240 each G3326 other G3739 that G1722 very G846   G2250 day: G1063 for G4391 before G5607 they were G1722 at G2189 enmity G4314 between G1438 themselves.
  13 G1161 And G4091 Pilate G4779 called together G749 the chief priests G2532 and G758 the rulers G2532 and G2992 the people,
  14 G2036 and said G4314 unto G846 them, G4374 Ye brought G3427 unto me G5126 this G444 man, G5613 as G654 one that perverteth G2992 the people: G2532 and G2400 behold, G1473 I G350 having examined G1799 him before G5216 you, G2147 found G3762 no G158 fault G1722 in G5129 this G444 man G3739 touching those things whereof G2723 ye accuse G2596   G846 him:
  15 G235 no, G3761 nor yet G2264 Herod: G1063 for G375 he sent G5209 him G4314 back unto G846 us; G2532 and G2400 behold, G3762 nothing G514 worthy G2288 of death G2076 hath been G4238 done G846 by him.
  16 G3811 I will G3767 therefore G3811 chastise G846 him, G630 and release him.

  18 G1161 But G349 they cried out G3826 all together, G3004 saying, G142 Away with G5126 this G1161 man, and G630 release G2254 unto us G912 Barabbas:—
  19 G3748 one who G1223 for G5100 a certain G4714 insurrection G1096 made G1722 in G4172 the city, G2532 and G5408 for murder, G2258 was G906 cast G1519 into G5438 prison.
  20 G3767 And G4091 Pilate G4377 spake G3825 unto them G2309 again, desiring G630 to release G2424 Jesus;
  21 G1161 but G2019 they shouted, G3004 saying, G4717 Crucify, G4717 crucify G846 him.
  22 G1161 And G2036 he said G4314 unto G846 them G5154 the third time, G5101 Why, G1063 what G2556 evil G4160 hath G3778 this man G4160 done? G2147 I have found G3762 no G158 cause G2288 of death G1722 in G846 him: G3811 I will G3767 therefore G3811 chastise G846 him G630 and release G630 him.
  23 G1161 But G1945 they were urgent G3173 with loud G5456 voices, G154 asking G4717 that G846 he G4717 might be crucified. G2532 And G5456 their voices G2729 prevailed.
  24 G1161 And G4091 Pilate G1948 gave sentence G846 that what they G155 asked G1096 for should be done.
  25 G1161 And G630 he released G846 him G3588 that G1223 for G4714 insurrection G2532 and G5408 murder G906 had been cast G1519 into G5438 prison, G3739 whom G154 they asked G1161 for; but G2424 Jesus G3860 he delivered G846 up to their G2307 will.
  26 G2532 And G5613 when G520 they led G846 him G520 away, G1949 they laid hold upon G5100 one G4613 Simon G2956 of Cyrene, G2064 coming G575 from G68 the country, G2007 and G2007 laid G846 on him G4716 the cross, G5342 to bear G3693 it after G2424 Jesus.
  27 G1161 And G190 there followed G846 him G4183 a great G4128 multitude G2992 of the people, G2532 and G1135 of women G3739 who G2532   G2875 bewailed G2532 and G2354 lamented G846 him.
  28 G1161 But G2424 Jesus G4762 turning G4314 unto G846 them G2036 said, G2364 Daughters G2419 of Jerusalem, G2799 weep G3361 not G1909 for G1691 me, G4133 but G2799 weep G1909 for G1438 yourselves, G2532 and G1909 for G5216 your G5043 children.
  29 G3754 For G2400 behold, G2250 the days G2064 are coming, G1722 in G3739 which G2046 they shall say, G3107 Blessed G4723 are the barren, G2532 and G2836 the wombs G3739 that G3756 never G1080 bare, G2532 and G3149 the breasts G3739 that G3756 never G2337 gave suck.
  30 G5119 Then G756 shall they begin G3004 to say G3735 to the mountains, G4098 Fall G1909 on G2248 us; G2532 and G1015 to the hills, G2572 Cover G2248 us.
  31 G3754 For G1487 if G4160 they do G5023 these things G1722 in G5200 the green G3586 tree, G5101 what G1096 shall be done G1722 in G3584 the dry?
  32 G1161 And G71 there were G2532 also G1417 two G2087 others, G2557 malefactors, G71 led G4862 with G846 him G337 to be put to death.
  33 G2532 And G3753 when G565 they came G1909 unto G5117 the place G3588 which G2564 is called G2898 The skull, G1563 there G4717 they crucified G846 him, G2532 and G2557 the malefactors, G3739 one G3303   G1537 on G1188 the right hand G1161 and G3739 the other G1537 on G710 the left.
  34 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G3004 said, G3962 Father, G863 forgive G846 them; G1063 for G1492 they know G3756 not G5101 what G4160 they do. G1161 And G1266 parting G846 his G2440 garments G906 among them, they cast G2819 lots.
  35 G2532 And G2992 the people G2476 stood G2334 beholding. G1161 And G758 the rulers G2532 also G1592 scoffed G4862 at G846 him, G3004 saying, G4982 He saved G243 others; G4982 let him save G1438 himself, G1487 if G3778 this G2076 is G5547 the Christ G2316 of God, G1588 his chosen.
  36 G1161 And G4757 the soldiers G2532 also G1702 mocked G846 him, G4334 coming to G846 him, G2532 offering G4374 him G3690 vinegar,
  37 G2532 and G3004 saying, G1487 If G4771 thou G1488 art G935 the King G2453 of the Jews, G4982 save G4572 thyself.
  38 G1161 And G2258 there was G2532 also G1125 a G1923 superscription G1909 over G846 him, G1121   G1673   G4513   G1444   G3778 THIS G2076 IS G935 THE KING G2453 OF THE JEWS.
  39 G1161 And G1520 one G2557 of the malefactors G3588 that G2910 were hanged G987 railed G846 on him, G3004 saying, G1487   G1488 Art G4771 not thou G5547 the Christ? G4982 save G4572 thyself G2532 and G2248 us.
  40 G1161 But G2087 the other G611 answered, G2008 and rebuking G846 him G3004 said, G5399 Dost G4771 thou G3761 not G5399 even fear G2316 God, G3754 seeing G1488 thou art G1722 in G846 the same G2917 condemnation?
  41 G2532 And G2249 we G3303 indeed G1346 justly; G1063 for G618 we receive G514 the due reward G3739 of G4238 our deeds: G1161 but G3778 this man G4238 hath done G3762 nothing G824 amiss.
  42 G2532 And G3004 he said, G2424 Jesus, G2962   G3415 remember G3450 me G3752 when G2064 thou comest G1722 in G4675 thy G932 kingdom.
  43 G2532 And G2424 he G2036 said G846 unto him, G281 Verily G3004 I say G4671 unto thee, G4594 To-day G2071 shalt thou be G3326 with G1700 me G1722 in G3857 Paradise.
  44 G1161 And G2258 it was G5616 now about G1623 the sixth G5610 hour, G2532 and G1096 a G4655 darkness G1909 came over G3650 the whole G1093 land G2193 until G1766 the ninth G5610 hour,
  45 G2532 the G2246 sun's G4654 light failing: G2532 and G2665 the veil G3485 of the temple G4977 was rent G3319 in the midst.
  46 G2532 And G2424 Jesus, G5455 crying G3173 with a loud G5456 voice, G2036 said, G3962 Father, G1519 into G4675 thy G5495 hands G3908 I commend G3450 my G4151 spirit: G2532 and G2036 having said G5023 this, G1606 he gave up the ghost.
  47 G1161 And G1543 when the centurion G1492 saw G3588 what G1096 was done, G1392 he glorified G2316 God, G3004 saying, G3689 Certainly G3778 this G2258 was G1342 a righteous G444 man.
  48 G2532 And G3956 all G3793 the multitudes G3588 that G4836 came together G1909 to G3778 this G2335 sight, G2334 when they beheld G3778 the things that G1096 were done, G5290 returned G5180 smiting G1438 their G4738 breasts.
  49 G1161 And G3956 all G846 his G1110 acquaintance, G2532 and G1135 the women G3588 that G4870 followed G846 with him G575 from G1056 Galilee, G2476 stood G3113 afar off, G3708 seeing G5023 these things.
  50 G2532 And G2400 behold, G435 a man G3686 named G5225 Joseph, G1010 who was a councillor, G18 a good G2532 and G1342 righteous G435 man
  51 G2258 (he had G3756 not G4784 consented G1012 to their counsel G2532 and G4234 deed), G846 a man G575 of G707 Arimathaea, G4172 a city G575 of G2453 the Jews, G3739 who G2532 was G846   G4327 looking G2532 for G932 the kingdom G2316 of God:
  52 G3778 this G4334 man went G4091 to Pilate, G154 and asked G4983 for the body G2424 of Jesus.
  53 G2532 And G846 he G2507 took it down, G1794 and wrapped G846 it G4616 in a linen G2532 cloth, and G5087 laid G846 him G1722 in G3418 a tomb G2991 that was hewn in stone, G3757 where G3756 never G3762 man G2258 had G3764 yet G2749 lain.
  54 G2532 And G2258 it was G2250 the day G3904 of the Preparation, G2532 and G4521 the sabbath G2020 drew on.
  55 G1161 And G1135 the women, G2532   G3748 who G2258 had G4905 come G846 with him G1537 out of G1056 Galilee, G2628 followed after, G2300 and beheld G3419 the tomb, G2532 and G5613 how G846 his G4983 body G5087 was laid.
  56 G1161 And G5290 they returned, G2090 and prepared G759 spices G2532 and G3464 ointments. G2532 And G3303 on the G3303 sabbath they G2270 rested G2596 according to G1785 the commandment.
