H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H4872 unto Moses H6458 , Hew [H8798]   H8147 thee two H3871 tables H68 of stone H7223 like unto the first H3789 : and I will write [H8804]   H3871 upon these tables H1697 the words H7223 that were in the first H3871 tables H7665 , which thou brakest [H8765]  .
H3559 And be ready [H8737]   H1242 in the morning H5927 , and come up [H8804]   H1242 in the morning H2022 unto mount H5514 Sinai H5324 , and present [H8738]   H7218 thyself there to me in the top H2022 of the mount.
H376 And no man H5927 shall come up [H8799]   H408 with thee, neither H376 let any man H7200 be seen [H8735]   H2022 throughout all the mount H6629 ; neither let the flocks H1241 nor herds H7462 feed [H8799]   H4136 before H2022 that mount.
H6458 And he hewed [H8799]   H8147 two H3871 tables H68 of stone H7223 like unto the first H4872 ; and Moses H7925 rose up early [H8686]   H1242 in the morning H5927 , and went up [H8799]   H2022 unto mount H5514 Sinai H3068 , as the LORD H6680 had commanded [H8765]   H3947 him, and took [H8799]   H3027 in his hand H8147 the two H3871 tables H68 of stone.
H3068 And the LORD H3381 descended [H8799]   H6051 in the cloud H3320 , and stood [H8691]   H7121 with him there, and proclaimed [H8799]   H8034 the name H3068 of the LORD.
H3068 And the LORD H5674 passed by [H8799]   H6440 before him H7121 , and proclaimed [H8799]   H3068 , The LORD H3068 , The LORD H410 God H7349 , merciful H2587 and gracious H750 , longsuffering H639   H7227 , and abundant H2617 in goodness H571 and truth,
H5341 Keeping [H8802]   H2617 mercy H505 for thousands H5375 , forgiving [H8802]   H5771 iniquity H6588 and transgression H2403 and sin H5352 , and that will by no means [H8763]   H5352 clear [H8762]   H6485 the guilty; visiting [H8802]   H5771 the iniquity H1 of the fathers H1121 upon the children H1121 , and upon the children's H8029 children, unto the third H7256 and to the fourth generation .
H4872 And Moses H4116 made haste [H8762]   H6915 , and bowed his head [H8799]   H776 toward the earth H7812 , and worshipped [H8691]  .
H559 And he said [H8799]   H4672 , If now I have found [H8804]   H2580 grace H5869 in thy sight H136 , O Lord H136 , let my Lord H3212 , I pray thee, go [H8799]   H7130 among H7186 us; for it is a stiffnecked H6203   H5971 people H5545 ; and pardon [H8804]   H5771 our iniquity H2403 and our sin H5157 , and take us for thine inheritance [H8804]  .
H559 And he said [H8799]   H3772 , Behold, I make [H8802]   H1285 a covenant H5971 : before all thy people H6213 I will do [H8799]   H6381 marvels [H8737]   H1254 , such as have not been done [H8738]   H776 in all the earth H1471 , nor in any nation H5971 : and all the people H7130 among H7200 which thou art shall see [H8804]   H4639 the work H3068 of the LORD H3372 : for it is a terrible thing [H8737]   H6213 that I will do [H8802]   with thee.
H8104 Observe [H8798]   H6680 thou that which I command [H8764]   H3117 thee this day H1644 : behold, I drive out [H8802]   H6440 before H567 thee the Amorite H3669 , and the Canaanite H2850 , and the Hittite H6522 , and the Perizzite H2340 , and the Hivite H2983 , and the Jebusite.
H8104 Take heed [H8734]   H3772 to thyself, lest thou make [H8799]   H1285 a covenant H3427 with the inhabitants [H8802]   H776 of the land H935 whither thou goest [H8802]   H4170 , lest it be for a snare H7130 in the midst of thee:
H5422 But ye shall destroy [H8799]   H4196 their altars H7665 , break [H8762]   H4676 their images H3772 , and cut down [H8799]   H842 their groves:
H7812 For thou shalt worship [H8691]   H312 no other H410 god H3068 : for the LORD H8034 , whose name H7067 is Jealous H7067 , is a jealous H410 God:
H3772 Lest thou make [H8799]   H1285 a covenant H3427 with the inhabitants [H8802]   H776 of the land H2181 , and they go a whoring [H8804]   H310 after H430 their gods H2076 , and do sacrifice [H8804]   H430 unto their gods H7121 , and one call [H8804]   H398 thee, and thou eat [H8804]   H2077 of his sacrifice;
H3947 And thou take [H8804]   H1323 of their daughters H1121 unto thy sons H1323 , and their daughters H2181 go a whoring [H8804]   H310 after H430 their gods H2181 , and make H1121 thy sons H2181 go a whoring [H8689]   H310 after H430 their gods.
H6213 Thou shalt make [H8799]   H4541 thee no molten H430 gods.
H2282 The feast H4682 of unleavened bread H8104 shalt thou keep [H8799]   H7651 . Seven H3117 days H398 thou shalt eat [H8799]   H4682 unleavened bread H6680 , as I commanded [H8765]   H4150 thee, in the time H2320 of the month H24 Abib H2320 : for in the month H24 Abib H3318 thou camest out [H8804]   H4714 from Egypt.
H6363 All that openeth H7358 the matrix H6363 is mine; and every firstling H4735 among thy cattle H7794 , whether ox H7716 or sheep H2142 , that is male [H8735]   .
H6363 But the firstling H2543 of an ass H6299 thou shalt redeem [H8799]   H7716 with a lamb H6299 : and if thou redeem [H8799]   H6202 him not, then shalt thou break his neck [H8804]   H1060 . All the firstborn H1121 of thy sons H6299 thou shalt redeem [H8799]   H7200 . And none shall appear [H8735]   H6440 before H7387 me empty.
H8337 Six H3117 days H5647 thou shalt work [H8799]   H7637 , but on the seventh H3117 day H7673 thou shalt rest [H8799]   H2758 : in earing time H7105 and in harvest H7673 thou shalt rest [H8799]  .
H6213 And thou shalt observe [H8799]   H2282 the feast H7620 of weeks H1061 , of the firstfruits H2406 of wheat H7105 harvest H2282 , and the feast H614 of ingathering H8141 at the year's H8622 end.
H6471 Thrice H7969   H8141 in the year H2138 shall all your men children H7200 appear [H8735]   H6440 before H113 the Lord H3068 GOD H430 , the God H3478 of Israel.
H3423 For I will cast out [H8686]   H1471 the nations H6440 before H7337 thee, and enlarge [H8689]   H1366 thy borders H376 : neither shall any man H2530 desire [H8799]   H776 thy land H5927 , when thou shalt go up [H8800]   H7200 to appear [H8736]   H6440 before H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H6471 thrice H7969   H8141 in the year.
H7819 Thou shalt not offer [H8799]   H1818 the blood H2077 of my sacrifice H2557 with leaven H2077 ; neither shall the sacrifice H2282 of the feast H6453 of the passover H3885 be left [H8799]   H1242 unto the morning.
H7225 The first H1061 of the firstfruits H127 of thy land H935 thou shalt bring [H8686]   H1004 unto the house H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H1310 . Thou shalt not seethe [H8762]   H1423 a kid H517 in his mother's H2461 milk.
H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H4872 unto Moses H3789 , Write [H8798]   H1697 thou these words H6310 : for after the tenor H1697 of these words H3772 I have made [H8804]   H1285 a covenant H3478 with thee and with Israel.
H3068 And he was there with the LORD H705 forty H3117 days H705 and forty H3915 nights H398 ; he did neither eat [H8804]   H3899 bread H8354 , nor drink [H8804]   H4325 water H3789 . And he wrote [H8799]   H3871 upon the tables H1697 the words H1285 of the covenant H6235 , the ten H1697 commandments.
H4872 And it came to pass, when Moses H3381 came down [H8800]   H2022 from mount H5514 Sinai H8147 with the two H3871 tables H5715 of testimony H4872 in Moses H3027 ' hand H3381 , when he came down [H8800]   H2022 from the mount H4872 , that Moses H3045 wist [H8804]   H5785 not that the skin H6440 of his face H7160 shone [H8804]   H1696 while he talked [H8763]   with him.
H175 And when Aaron H1121 and all the children H3478 of Israel H7200 saw [H8799]   H4872 Moses H5785 , behold, the skin H6440 of his face H7160 shone [H8804]   H3372 ; and they were afraid [H8799]   H5066 to come nigh [H8800]   him.
H4872 And Moses H7121 called [H8799]   H175 unto them; and Aaron H5387 and all the rulers H5712 of the congregation H7725 returned [H8799]   H4872 unto him: and Moses H1696 talked [H8762]   with them.
H310 And afterward H1121 all the children H3478 of Israel H5066 came nigh [H8738]   H6680 : and he gave them in commandment [H8762]   H3068 all that the LORD H1696 had spoken [H8765]   H2022 with him in mount H5514 Sinai.
H4872 And till Moses H3615 had done [H8762]   H1696 speaking [H8763]   H5414 with them, he put [H8799]   H4533 a vail H6440 on his face.
H4872 But when Moses H935 went in [H8800]   H6440 before H3068 the LORD H1696 to speak [H8763]   H5493 with him, he took H4533 the vail H5493 off [H8686]   H3318 , until he came out [H8800]   H3318 . And he came out [H8804]   H1696 , and spake [H8765]   H1121 unto the children H3478 of Israel H6680 that which he was commanded [H8792]  .
H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H7200 saw [H8804]   H6440 the face H4872 of Moses H5785 , that the skin H4872 of Moses H6440 ' face H7160 shone [H8804]   H4872 : and Moses H7725 put H4533 the vail H6440 upon his face H7725 again [H8689]   H935 , until he went [H8800]   H1696 in to speak [H8763]   with him.
ERV(i) 1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tables, which thou brakest. 2 And be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me on the top of the mount. 3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. 4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone. 5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, the LORD, a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth; 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin: and that will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation. 8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. 9 And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance. 10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD, for it is a terrible thing that I do with thee. 11 Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. 12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: 13 but ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and ye shall cut down their Asherim: 14 for thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: 15 lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee and thou eat of his sacrifice; 16 and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods. 17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods. 18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt. 19 All that openeth the womb is mine; and all thy cattle that is male, the firstlings of ox and sheep. 20 And the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break its neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty. 21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in plowing time and in harvest thou shalt rest. 22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, [even] of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end. 23 Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel. 24 For I will cast out nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou goest up to appear before the LORD thy God three times in the year. 25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning. 26 The first of the firstfruits of thy ground thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother’s milk. 27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel. 28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. 29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of the testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him. 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. 31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses spake to them. 32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai. 33 And when Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face. 34 But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded; 35 and the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
