14 H3045 Who knows H7725 if he will return H5162 and repent, H7604 and leave H1293 a blessing H310 behind H4503 him; even a food offering H5262 and a drink offering H3068 unto the Lord H430 your God?
  15 H8628 Blow H7782 the trumpet H6726 in Zion, H6942 sanctify H6685 a fast, H7121 call H6116 a solemn assembly:
16 H622 Gather H5971 the people, H6942 sanctify H6951 the congregation, H6908 assemble H2205 the elders, H622 gather H5768 the sons, H3243 and those that suck H7699 the breasts: H2860 let the bridegroom H3318 go forth H2315 of his chamber, H3618 and the bride H2646 out of her closet.
17 H3548 Let the priests, H8334 the ministers H3068 of the Lord, H1058 weep H197 between the porch H4196 and the altar, H559 and let them say, H2347 Spare H5971 your people, H3068 O Lord, H5414 and give H5159 not your heritage H2781 to reproach, H1471 that the heathen H4910 should rule over H559 them: therefore should they say H5971 among the people, H430 Where is their God?
18 H3068 Then will the Lord H7065 be jealous H776 for his land, H2550 and pity H5971 his people.
EJ2000(i) 11 and the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for many are his camps and strong, that execute his word; for the day of the LORD is great, and very terrible; and who can abide it? 12 ¶ Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn unto me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and great in mercy, and he does repent of chastisement. 14 Who knows if he will return and repent and leave a blessing behind him even a present and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? 15 Blow the shofar in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16 gather the people, sanctify the meeting, assemble the elders, gather the children and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber and the bride out of her closet. 17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Forgive thy people, O LORD, and do not give thine heritage to reproach that the Gentiles should rule over her: why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God? 18 ¶ Then the LORD will be jealous for his earth and forgive his people.
CAB(i) 11 And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for the execution of His words is mighty; for the day of the Lord is great, very glorious, and who shall be able to resist it? 12 Now therefore, says the Lord your God, turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with lamentation: 13 and tear your hearts, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for He is merciful and compassionate, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy, and relenting of evil. 14 Who knows if He will return, and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him, even a grain offering and a drink offering to the Lord your God? 15 Sound the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, proclaim a solemn service: 16 gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the infants at the breast: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17 Between the porch and the altar let the priests that minister to the Lord weep, and say, Spare Your people, O Lord, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them, lest they should say among the heathen, Where is their God? 18 But the Lord was jealous of His land, and spared His people.
LXX2012(i) 11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his host: for his camp is very great: for the execution of his words is mighty: for the day of the Lord is great, very glorious, and who shall be able to [resist] it? 12 Now therefore, says the Lord your God, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with lamentation: 13 and rend your hearts, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for he is merciful and compassionate, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy, and repents of evils. 14 Who knows if he will return, and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, even a meat-offering and a drink-offering to the Lord your God? 15 Sound the trumpet in Sion, sanctify a fast, proclaim a [solemn] service: 16 gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the infants at the breast: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
NSB(i) 11 »Jehovah speaks before his army. His camp is very great! He is strong that executes his word. The Day of Jehovah is great and very terrible! Who can endure it?« 12 »Even now,« said Jehovah, »turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning! 13 »Rip apart your heart, and not your garments. Turn to Jehovah your God! He is gracious and merciful. He is slow to anger and abundant in loving-kindness. He will turn back from doing harm. 14 »Who knows whether he will turn back, feel regret and leave a blessing behind him, a meal offering and a drink offering to Jehovah your God? 15 »Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast and call a solemn assembly. 16 »Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts. Let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17 »Let the priests and the ministers of Jehovah weep between the Temple porch and the altar! Let them say: Spare your people, O Jehovah, and do not give reproach to your heritage. That the nations should rule over them and say among the peoples, ‘where is their God?«’ 18 Jehovah was zealous for his land, and had pity on his people.
ISV(i) 11 The LORD will shout in the presence of his forces, because his encampment is very great; for powerful is he who carries out his message. Truly the Day of the LORD is great, and very terrifying. Who will be able to survive it?”
12 Repentance and Restoration“Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “Turn back to me with your whole heart, with fasting, tears, and mourning. 13 Tear your hearts, not your garments; and turn back to the LORD your God. For he is gracious and compassionate, slow to become angry, overflowing in gracious love, and grieves about this evil. 14 Who knows? He will turn back and relent, will he not, leaving behind a blessing, even a grain offering and drink offering for the LORD your God?”
15 A Public Call to a Solemn Assembly“Sound the ram’s horn in Zion! Dedicate a fast and call for a solemn assembly! 16 Gather the people! Dedicate the congregation! Bring in the elders. Gather the youngsters and even the nursing infants. Call the bridegroom from his wedding preparations, and the bride from her dressing room. 17 As they serve between the porch and the altar, let the priests and ministers of the LORD weep and pray: ‘Spare your people, LORD, and do not make your heritage a disgrace so that nations ridicule them. Why should they say among the people, “Where is their God?”’”
18 Response to the People’s RepentanceThen the LORD will show great concern for his land, and will have compassion on his people.
LEB(i) 11 And Yahweh utters* his voice before his army, because his encampment is very large; strong is the one who carries out his decree, for great is the day of Yahweh and exceedingly fearful. Who can endure it? 12 "And even now," declares* Yahweh, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting, and weeping, and wailing." 13 Rend your hearts* and not your garments, and return to Yahweh your God, because he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger* and great in loyal love, and relenting from harm. 14 Who knows whether he will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, an offering and a libation, for Yahweh your God? 15 Blow the trumpet* in Zion, sanctify a fast, call an assembly; 16 gather the people, consecrate the assembly; assemble the elders, gather the children, even those who are breast-feeding; let the bridegroom come out from his private room, and the bride from her canopy. 17 Between the colonnade and the altar, let the priests, the ministers of Yahweh, weep. And let them say, "Take pity, Yahweh, on your people. Do not make your inheritance a reproach, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the nations, 'Where is their God?'" 18 Then Yahweh became jealous for his land and took pity on his people.
BSB(i) 11 The LORD raises His voice in the presence of His army. Indeed, His camp is very large, for mighty are those who obey His command. For the Day of the LORD is great and very dreadful. Who can endure it? 12 “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” 13 So rend your hearts and not your garments, and return to the LORD your God. For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion. And He relents from sending disaster. 14 Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave a blessing behind Him—grain and drink offerings for the LORD your God. 15 Blow the ram’s horn in Zion, consecrate a fast, proclaim a sacred assembly. 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the aged, gather the children, even those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber. 17 Let the priests who minister before the LORD weep between the portico and the altar, saying, “Spare Your people, O LORD, and do not make Your heritage a reproach, an object of scorn among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’” 18 Then the LORD became jealous for His land, and He spared His people.

Tounen vin jwenn Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Li gen bon kè anpil, li gen pitye pou moun. Li pa fache fasil, li p'ap janm sispann renmen nou. Li toujou pare pou padonnen nou. 14 Sa ki konnen? Li ka chanje lide, li ka padonnen nou. Se pou yo di: Pitye, Seyè, pitye pou pèp ou a. Pa kite moun lòt nasyon yo pase moun pa ou yo nan betiz pou fè yo wont, pou yo ta di: Kote Bondye yo a? 18 Lè sa a, Seyè a fè wè jan li renmen peyi li a. Li fè pèp li a gras.
