12 H1571 וגם Therefore also H6258 עתה now, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7725 שׁבו turn H5704 עדי ye to H3605 בכל me with all H3824 לבבכם your heart, H6685 ובצום and with fasting, H1065 ובבכי and with weeping, H4553 ובמספד׃ and with mourning:

13 H7167 וקרעו And rend H3824 לבבכם your heart, H408 ואל and not H899 בגדיכם your garments, H7725 ושׁובו and turn H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God: H3588 כי for H2587 חנון gracious H7349 ורחום and merciful, H1931 הוא he H750 ארך slow H639 אפים to anger, H7227 ורב and of great H2617 חסד kindness, H5162 ונחם and repenteth H5921 על him of H7451 הרעה׃ the evil.

14 H4310 מי Who H3045 יודע knoweth H7725 ישׁוב he will return H5162 ונחם and repent, H7604 והשׁאיר and leave H310 אחריו behind H1293 ברכה a blessing H4503 מנחה him; a meat offering H5262 ונסך and a drink offering H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God?

15 H8628 תקעו Blow H7782 שׁופר the trumpet H6726 בציון in Zion, H6942 קדשׁו sanctify H6685 צום a fast, H7121 קראו call H6116 עצרה׃ a solemn assembly:

16 H622 אספו Gather H5971 עם the people, H6942 קדשׁו sanctify H6951 קהל the congregation, H6908 קבצו assemble H2205 זקנים the elders, H622 אספו gather H5768 עוללים the children, H3243 וינקי and those that suck H7699 שׁדים the breasts: H3318 יצא go forth H2860 חתן let the bridegroom H2315 מחדרו of his chamber, H3618 וכלה and the bride H2646 מחפתה׃ out of her closet.

17 H996 בין between H197 האולם the porch H4196 ולמזבח and the altar, H1058 יבכו weep H3548 הכהנים Let the priests, H8334 משׁרתי the ministers H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H559 ויאמרו and let them say, H2347 חוסה H3068 יהוה O LORD, H5921 על H5971 עמך thy people, H408 ואל not H5414 תתן and give H5159 נחלתך thine heritage H2781 לחרפה to reproach, H4910 למשׁל should rule H1471 בם גוים that the heathen H4100 למה over them: wherefore H559 יאמרו should they say H5971 בעמים among the people, H346 איה Where H430 אלהיהם׃ their God?

18 H7065 ויקנא be jealous H3068 יהוה Then will the LORD H776 לארצו for his land, H2550 ויחמל and pity H5921 על and pity H5971 עמו׃ his people.
