  37:1   2532 και And 1096 εγένετο it came to pass 1722 εν in 3588 τω   191 ακούσαι [³hearing 3588 τον   935 βασιλέα ¹king * Εζεκίαν ²Hezekiah], 4977 έσχισε that he split 3588 τα   2440-1473 ιμάτια αυτού his garments, 2532 και and 4016 περιεβάλετο put on 4526 σάκκον sackcloth, 2532 και and 305 ανέβη ascended 1519 εις unto 3588 τον the 3624 οίκον house 2962 κυρίου of the lord.   37:2   2532 και And 649 απέστειλεν he sent 3588 τον   * Ελιακείμ Eliakim 3588 τον the 3623 οικονόμον manager, 2532 και and * Σομνάν Shebna 3588 τον the 1122 γραμματέα scribe 2532 και (with 3588 τους the 4245 πρεσβυτέρους elders 3588 των of the 2409 ιερέων priests 4016 περιβεβλημένους putting on 4526 σάκκους sackcloths) 4314 προς to * Ησαϊαν Isaiah 5207 υιόν son * Αμώς of Amoz 3588 τον the 4396 προφήτην prophet.   37:3   2532 και And 2036 είπαν they said 1473 αυτώ to him, 3592 τάδε Thus 3004 λέγει says * Εζεκίας Hezekiah, 2250 ημέρα A day 2347 θλίψεως of affliction, 2532 και and 3680 ονειδισμού scorning, 2532 και and 1648.1 ελεγμού rebuke, 2532 και and 3709 οργής anger 3588 η   4594 σήμερον is today's 2250 ημέρα day. 3754 ότι For 2240 ήκει [⁴come 3588 η ¹the 5604 ωδίν ²pangs 3588 τη   5088 τικτούση ³of giving birth], 2479 ισχύν [⁴strength 1161 δε ¹but 3756 ουκ ²she does not 2192 έχει ³have] 3588 του   5088 τεκείν to give birth.   37:4   1513 είπως If by any means 1522 εισακούσαι [³may listen to 2962 κύριος ¹the lord 3588 ο   2316-1473 θεός σου ²your God] 3588 τους the 3056 λόγους words * Ραψάκου of Rabshakeh, 3739 ους whom 649 απέστειλε [⁴sent 935 βασιλεύς ²the king * Ασσυρίων ³of the Assyrians 3588 ο   2962-1473 κυριός αυτού ¹his master] 3679 ονειδίζειν to berate 2316 θεόν [²God 2198 ζώντα ¹the living], 2532 και and 3679 ονειδίζειν to berate 3056 λόγους by the words 3739 ους which 191 ήκουσε [³heard 2962 κύριος ¹the lord 3588 ο   2316-1473 θεός σου ²your God], 2532 και therefore 1189 δεηθήση you shall make beseechment 4314 προς to 2962 κύριον the lord 3588 τον   2316-1473 θεόν σου your God 4012 περί concerning 3588 των   2641-3778 καταλελειμμένων τούτων these being left.   37:5   2532 και And 2064 ήλθον [⁵came 3588 οι ¹the 3816 παίδες ²servants 3588 του   935 βασιλέως ³of king * Εζεκίου ⁴Hezekiah] 4314 προς to * Ησαϊαν Isaiah.   37:6   2532 και And 2036 είπεν [²said 1473 αυτοίς ³to them * Ησαϊας ¹Isaiah], 3779 ούτως Thus 2046 ερείτε you shall say 4314 προς to 3588 τον   2962-1473 κύριον υμών your master, 3592 τάδε Thus 3004 λέγει says 2962 κύριος the lord, 3361 μη You should not 5399 φοβηθής be fearful 575 από of 3588 των the 3056 λόγων words 3739 ων which 191 ήκουσας you heard, 3739 ους which 3679 ωνείδισάν [⁵berated 1473 με ⁶me 3588 οι ¹the 4244.1 πρέσβεις ²ambassadors 935 βασιλέως ³of the king * Ασσυρίων ⁴of the Assyrians].   37:7   2400 ιδού Behold, 1473 εγώ I 1685 εμβαλώ shall put 1909 επ΄ upon 1473 αυτόν him 4151 πνεύμα a spirit, 2532 και and 191 ακούσας hearing 31 αγγελίαν a message 654 αποστρέψει he shall return 1519 εις unto 3588 την   5561-1473 χώραν αυτού his place, 2532 και and 4098 πεσείται he shall fall 3162 μαχαίρα by the sword 1722 εν in 3588 τη   1093-1473 γη αυτού his land.   37:8   2532 και And 654-* απέστρεψε Ραψάκης Rabshakeh returned, 2532 και and 2638 κατέλαβε overtook 3588 τον the 935 βασιλέα king * Ασσυρίων of the Assyrians 4171.2 πολιορκούντα while assaulting * Λόβναν Libna, 2532 και for 191 ήκουσεν he heard 3754 ότι that 522 απήρεν he departed 575 από from * Λάχις Lachish.   37:9   2532 και And 1831 εξήλθε there came forth * Θαρρά Tirhakah 935 βασιλεύς king * Αιθιόπων of the Ethiopians 3588 του   4171.2 πολιορκήσαι to assault 1473 αυτόν him; 2532 και and 191 ακούσας hearing 654 απέστρεψε he returned 2532 και and 649 απέστειλεν sent 32 αγγέλους messengers 4314 προς to * Εζεκίαν Hezekiah, 3004 λέγων saying,   37:10   3779 ούτως Thus 2046 ερείτε you shall say * Εζεκία to Hezekiah 935 βασιλεί king 3588 της   * Ιουδαίας of Judea, 3361 μη Let not 538 απατάτω [²deceive 1473 σε ³you 3588 ο   2316-1473 θεός σου ¹your God]! 1909 εφ΄ upon 3739 ω whom 1473 συ you 3982 πέποιθας rely 1909 επ΄ upon 1473 αυτώ him, 3004 λέγων saying, 3766.2 ου μη In no way 3860-* παραδοθή Ιερουσαλήμ shall Jerusalem be delivered up 1722 εν into 5495 χειρί the hand 935 βασιλέως of the king * Ασσυρίων of the Assyrians.   37:11   2400 ιδού Behold, 1473 συ have you 3756 ουκ not 191 ήκουσας heard 3739 α what 4160 εποίησαν [³did 935 βασιλείς ¹the kings * Ασσυρίων ²of the Assyrians], 3956 πάσαν [³the whole 3588 την   1093 γην ⁴earth 5613 ως ¹how 622 απώλεσαν ²they destroyed]? 2532 και and 1473 συ shall you 4506 ρυσθήση be rescued?   37:12   3361 μη Have 4506 ερρύσαντο [⁵rescued 1473 αυτούς ⁶them 3588 οι ¹the 2316 θεοί ²gods 3588 των ³of the 1484 εθνών ⁴nations] 3739 ους whom 622 απώλεσαν [²destroyed 3588 οι   3962-1473 πατέρες μου ¹my fathers], 3588 την   5037 τε both * Γώζαν Gozan, 2532 και and * Χαρράν Haran, 2532 και and * Ρασέμ Rezeph, 3739 αι which 1510.2.6 εισιν are 1722 εν in 5561 χώρα the place * Θεεμάθ of Telassar?   37:13   4226 που Where 1510.2.6 εισίν are 3588 οι the 935 βασιλείς kings * Εμάθ of Hamath? 2532 και and 4226 που where * Αρφάθ is Arphad? 2532 και and 4226 που where 4172 πόλεως is the city * Σεπφαρουϊμ Sepharvaim, * Ανανεού Henah 2532 και and * Γαυσά Ivah?   37:14   2532 και And 2983-* έλαβεν Εζεκίας Hezekiah took 3588 το the 975 βιβλίον scroll 3844 παρά from 3588 των the 32 αγγέλων messengers, 2532 και and 314 ανέγνω read 1473 αυτό it. 2532 και And 305 ανέβη he ascended 1519 εις into 3624 οίκον the house 2962 κυρίου of the lord, 2532 και and 455 ήνοιξεν opened 1473 αυτό it 1726 εναντίον before 2962 κυρίου the lord.   37:15   2532 και And 4336-* προσηύξατο Εζεκίας Hezekiah prayed 4314 προς to 2962 κύριον the lord, 3004 λέγων saying,   37:16   2962 Κύριε O lord 4519 σαβαώθ of Hosts, 3588 ο   2316 θεός God * Ισραήλ of Israel, 3588 ο the 2521 καθήμενος one sitting 1909 επί upon 3588 των the 5502 χερουβίμ cherubim. 1473 συ You 1510.2.2 ει are 3588 ο   2316 θεός God 3441 μόνος alone 3956 πάσης of every 932 βασιλείας kingdom 3588 της of the 3611 οικουμένης world. 1473 συ You 4160 εποίησας made 3588 τον the 3772 ουρανόν heaven 2532 και and 3588 την the 1093 γην earth.   37:17   2827 κλίνον Lean, 2962 κύριε O lord, 3588 το   3775-1473 ους σου your ear! 1522 εισάκουσον Hearken, 2962 κύριε O lord! 455 άνοιξον Open, 2962 κύριε O lord, 3588 τους   3788-1473 οφθαλμούς σου your eyes! 1522.2 είσβλεψον Look in, 2962 κύριε O lord, 2532 και and 1492 ίδε know 2532 και and 191 άκουσον hear 3956 πάντας all 3588 τους the 3056 λόγους words * Σενναχηρείμ of Sennacherib! 3739 ους which 649 απέστειλεν he sent 3679 ονειδίζειν to berate 2316 θεόν [²God 2198 ζώντα ¹the living].   37:18   1909 επ΄ [²in 225 αληθείας ³truth 1063 γαρ ¹For], 2962 κύριε O lord, 2049 ηρήμωσαν [³made desolate 935 βασιλείς ¹the kings * Ασσυρίων ²of the Assyrians] 3588 την the 3611 οικουμένην [²inhabitable world 3650 όλην ¹entire], 2532 και and 3588 την   5561-1473 χώραν αυτών their region.   37:19   2532 και And 306 ανέβαλον they raised 3588 τα   1497-1473 είδωλα αυτών their idols 1519 εις unto 3588 το the 4442 πυρ fire, 3756 ου [³not 1063 γαρ ¹for 2316 θεοί ⁴gods 1510.7.6 ήσαν ²they were], 235 αλλ΄ but 2041 έργα works 5495 χειρών of the hands 444 ανθρώπων of men, 3586 ξύλα wood 2532 και and 3037 λίθοι stones -- 2532 και and 622-1473 απώλεσαν αυτούς they destroyed them.   37:20   3568-1161 νυν δε But now, 2962 κύριε O lord 3588 ο   2316-1473 θεός ημών our God, 4982 σώσον deliver 1473 ημάς us 1537 εκ from out of 5495-1473 χειρός αυτού his hand! 2443 ίνα that 1097 γνω [⁵should know 3956 πάσα ¹every 932 βασιλεία ²kingdom 3588 της ³of the 1093 γης ⁴earth] 3754 ότι that 1473 συ you 1510.2.2 ει are 3588 ο   2316 θεός God 3441 μόνος alone.   37:21   2532 και And 649 απεστάλη [⁴was sent * Ησαϊας ¹Isaiah 5207 υιός ²son * Αμώς ³of Amoz] 4314 προς to * Εζεκίαν Hezekiah. 2532 και And 2036 είπεν he said 1473 αυτώ to him, 3592 τάδε Thus 3004 λέγει says 2962 κύριος the lord 3588 ο   2316 θεός God * Ισραήλ of Israel, 191 ήκουσα I heard 3739 α what 4336 προσηύξω you prayed 4314 προς to 1473 με me 4012 περί concerning * Σενναχηρείμ Sennacherib 935 βασιλέως king * Ασσυρίων of the Assyrians.   37:22   3778 ούτος This is 3588 ο the 3056 λόγος word 3739 ον which 2980 ελάλησε [²spoke 4012 περί ³concerning 1473 αυτού ⁴him 3588 ο   2316 θεός ¹God]; 5336.3-1473 εφαύλισέ σε [⁴treated you as worthless 2532 και ⁵and 3456 εμυκτήρισέ ⁶sneered at 1473 σε ⁷you 3933 παρθένος ¹The virgin 2364 θυγάτηρ ²daughter * Σιών ³of Zion]; 1909 επί [⁵against 1473 σοι ⁶you 2776 κεφαλήν ⁴her head 2795 εκίνησε ³shook 2364 θυγάτηρ ¹the daughter * Ιερουσαλήμ ²of Jerusalem].   37:23   5100 τίνα Whom 3679 ωνείδισας did you berate 2532 και and 3947 παρώξυνας provoke? 2228 η or, 4314 προς to 5100 τίνα whom 5312 ύψωσας did you raise up high 3588 την   5456-1473 φωνήν σου your voice 2532 και and 142 ήρας lift 1519 εις [²unto 5311 ύψος ³the height 3588 τους   3788-1473 οφθαλμούς σου ¹your eyes] 4314 προς against 3588 τον the 39 άγιον holy one 3588 του   * Ισραήλ of Israel?   37:24   3754 ότι For 1223 δι΄ through 32 αγγέλων messengers 3679 ωνείδισας you berated 2962 κύριον the lord. 1473-1063 συ γαρ For you 2036 είπας said, 3588 τω With the 4128 πλήθει multitude 3588 των   716 αρμάτων of chariots 1473 εγώ I 305 ανέβην shall ascend 1519 εις unto 5311 ύψος the height 3735 ορέων of mountains, 2532 και and 1519 εις into 3588 τα the 2078 έσχατα ends 3588 του   * Λιβάνου of Lebanon; 2532 και and 2875 έκοψα I felled 3588 το the 5311 ύψος height 2748-1473 κέδρου αυτού of its cedar, 2532 και and 3588 το the 2566.3 κάλλος beauty 3588 της of the 2952.7 κυπαρίσσου cypress; 2532 και and 1525 εισήλθον I entered 1519 εις unto 5311 ύψος the height 3313 μέρους of the portion 3588 του of the 1409.1 δρυμού forest;   37:25   2532 και and 5087 έθηκα I made 1089.1 γέφυραν a dam, 2532 και and 2049 ηρήμωσα made desolate 5204 ύδατα the waters 2532 και and 3956 πάσαν every 4864 συναγωγήν gathering 5204 ύδατος of water.   37:26   3756 ου Have you not 3778-191 ταύτα ήκουσας heard these things 3819 πάλαι [⁴earlier 3739 α ¹which 1473 εγώ ²I 4160 εποίησα ³did]? 1537 εξ From 2250 ημερών [²days 744 αρχαίων ¹ancient] 4929 συνέταξα I ordered it. 3568-1161 νυν δε But now 1925 επέδειξα I displayed 1830.2 εξερημώσαι to make [⁴desolate 1484 έθνη ¹nations 1722 εν ²in 3793.1 οχυροίς ³fortified places], 2532 και and 3611 οικούντας the ones living 1722 εν in 4172 πόλεσιν [²cities 3793.1 οχυραίς ¹fortified].   37:27   447 ανήκα I weakened 3588 τας the 5495 χείρας hands, 2532 και and 3583 εξηράνθησαν they were dried up; 2532 και and 1096 εγένοντο they became 5613 ως as 5528 χόρτος [²grass 3584 ξηρός ¹dry] 1909 επί upon 1430 δωμάτων the roofs, 2532 και and 5613 ως as 70.1 άγρωστις wild grass.   37:28   3568-1161 νυν δε But now 3588 την   372-1473 ανάπαυσίν σου [³your rest 2532 και ⁴and 3588 την   1841-1473 έξοδόν σου ⁵your exit 2532 και ⁶and 3588 την   1529-1473 είσοδόν σου ⁷your entrance 1473 εγώ ¹I 1987 επίσταμαι ²know],   37:29   3588 ο   1161 δε and 2372-1473 θυμός σου your rage 3739 ον which 2373 εθυμώθης you were enraged. 2532 και And 3588 η   4088-1473 πικρία σου your bitterness 305 ανέβη ascended 4314 προς to 1473 με me. 2532 και And 1685 εμβαλώ I will put 5391.1 φιμόν a rein 1519 εις into 3588 την   4492.2-1473 ρινά σου your nose, 2532 και and 5469 χαλινόν a bit 1519 εις into 3588 τα   5491-1473 χείλη σου your lips, 2532 και and 654 αποστρέψω I will return 1473 σε you 3588 τη in the 3598 οδώ way 3739 η in which 2064 ήλθες you came 1722 εν by 1473 αυτή it.   37:30   3778-1161 τούτο δε And this 1473 σοι [³to you 3588 το ¹is the 4592 σημείον ²sign], 2068 φάγε Eat 3778 τούτον this 3588 τον   1763 ενιαυτόν year 3739 α what 4687 έσπαρκας you have sown; 3588-1161 τω δε and the 1763 ενιαυτώ [²year 3588 τω   1208 δευτέρω ¹second] 3588 το the 2640 κατάλειμμα vestige left; 3588-1161 τω δε and the 5154 τρίτω third year, 4687 σπείραντες sow, 270 αμήσατε and reap, 2532 και and 5452 φυτεύσατε plant 290 αμπελώνας vineyards, 2532 και and 2068 φάγεσθε eat 3588 τον   2590-1473 καρπόν αυτών of their fruit!   37:31   2532 και And 1510.8.6 έσονται they shall be 3588 οι the ones 2641 καταλελειμμένοι being left behind 1722 εν in 3588 τη   * Ιουδαία Judea. 5453 φυήσουσι They shall germinate 4491 ρίζαν a root 2736 κάτω below, 2532 και and 4160 ποιήσουσι they shall produce 4690 σπέρμα grain 507 άνω upward.   37:32   3754 ότι For 1537 εξ from out of * Ιερουσαλήμ Jerusalem 1831 εξελεύσονται shall come forth 3588 οι the ones 2641 καταλελειμμένοι surviving, 2532 και and 3588 οι the ones 4982 σωζόμενοι being preserved 1537 εξ from out of 3735 όρους mount * Σιών Zion. 3588 ο The 2205 ζήλος zeal 2962 κυρίου of the lord 4519 σαβαώθ of Hosts 4160 ποιήσει shall do 3778 ταύτα these things.   37:33   1223-3778 διά τούτο Therefore 3779 ούτως thus 3004 λέγει says 2962 κύριος the lord 1909 επί concerning 935 βασιλέα the king * Ασσυρίων of the Assyrians, 3766.2 ου μη In no way 1525 εισέλθη shall he enter 1519 εις into 3588 την   4172-3778 πόλιν ταύτην this city, 3762.1 ουδέ μη nor 906 βάλη throw 1909 επ΄ [²against 1473 αυτήν ³it 956 βέλος ¹an arrow], 3762.1 ουδέ μη nor 1911 επιβάλη shall he put 1909 επ΄ [²against 1473 αυτήν ³it 2375 θυρεόν ¹a shield], 3761 ουδέ nor 3361 μη shall 2944 κυκλώση he encircle 1909 επ΄ [²against 1473 αυτήν ³it 5482 χάρακα ¹a siege mound].   37:34   235 αλλά But 3588 τη in the 3598 οδώ way 3739 η in which 2064 ήλθεν he came 1909 επ΄ by 1473 αυτή it, 654 αποστραφήσεται he shall return; 2532 και and 1519 εις [³into 3588 την   4172-3778 πόλιν ταύτην ⁴this city 3766.2 ου μη ¹in no way 1525 εισέλθη ²shall he enter]. 3592 τάδε Thus 3004 λέγει says 2962 κύριος the lord.   37:35   5231.3 υπερασπιώ I will shield 5228 υπέρ over 3588 της   4172-3778 πόλεως ταύτης this city 3588 του   4982 σώσαι to deliver 1473 αυτήν it, 1223 δι΄ because of 1473 εμέ myself 2532 και and 1223 διά because of * Δαυίδ David 3588 τον   3816-1473 παίδά μου my servant.   37:36   2532 και And 1831 εξήλθεν [³came forth 32 άγγελος ¹an angel 2962 κυρίου ²of the lord], 2532 και and 337 ανείλεν he did away 1537 εκ with 3588 της the 3925 παρεμβολής camp 3588 των of the * Ασσυρίων Assyrians -- 1540 εκατόν a hundred 3589.2 ογδοηκονταπέντε eighty-five 5505 χιλιάδας thousand. 2532 και And 450 αναστάντες rising up 4404 τοπρωϊ in the morning 2147 εύρον he found 3956 πάντα all 3588 τα the 4983 σώματα [²bodies 3498 νεκρά ¹dead].   37:37   2532 και And 565 απήλθεν he went forth 654 αποστραφείς returning. 2532 και And 654 απέστρεψεν [⁴returned * Σενναχηειρείμ ¹Sennacherib 935 βασιλεύς ²king * Ασσυρίων ³of the Assyrians], 2532 και and 3611 ώκησεν lived 1722 εν in * Νινευή Nineveh.   37:38   2532 και And 1722 εν while 3588 τω   1473 αυτόν he 4352 προσκύνειν did obeisance 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 3624 οίκω house * Ασαράχ of Nisroch 2316-1473 θεού αυτού his god, * Αδραμελέχ Adrammelech 2532 και and * Σαρασάρ Sharezer 3588 οι   5207-1473 υιοί αυτού his sons 3960 επάταξαν struck 1473 αυτόν him 3162 μαχαίραις with swords; 1473-1161 αυτοί δε and they 1295 διεσώθησαν came through safe 1519 εις into * Αρμενίαν Armenia. 2532 και And 936 εβασίλευσεν [³took reign * Ασορδάν ¹Esar-haddon 3588 ο   5207-1473 υιός αυτού ²his son] 473 αντ΄ instead of 1473 αυτού him.
