PBG⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Izali mądrość nie woła, i roztropność nie wydaje głosu swego? ² Na wierzchu wysokich miejsc, przy drodze i na rozstaniu dróg stoi. ³ U bram, kędy się chodzi do miasta, i w wejściu u drzwi woła, mówiąc: ⁴ Na was wołam, o mężowie! a głos mój obracam do synów ludzkich. ⁵ Zrozumijcie prostacy ostrożność, a głupi zrozumijcie sercem. ⁶ Słuchajcie; bo o wielkich rzeczach będę mówił, a otworzenie warg moich opowie szczerość. ⁷ Zaisteć prawdę mówią usta moje, a niezbożność obrzydliwością jest wargom moim. ⁸ Sprawiedliwe są wszystkie słowa ust moich; nie masz w nich nic nieprawego ani przewrotnego. ⁹ Wszystkie są prawe rozumnemu, a uprzejme tym, którzy znajdują umiejętność. ¹⁰ Przyjmijcież ćwiczenie moje, a nie srebro, a umiejętność raczej, niż złoto wyborne. ¹¹ Albowiem lepsza jest mądrość niż perły, także wszystkie pożądane rzeczy nie porównają z nią. ¹² Ja mądrość mieszkam z roztropnością,i umiejętność ostrożności wynajduję.

Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Nu strigă înţelepciunea, şi nu-şi înalţă priceperea glasul? ² Ea se aşează sus pe înălţimi, afară pe drum, la răspîntii, ³ şi strigă lîngă porţi, la intrarea cetăţii, la intrarea porţilor: ⁴ ,,Oamenilor, către voi strig, şi spre fiii oamenilor se îndreaptă glasul meu. ⁵ Învăţaţi-vă minte, proştilor, şi înţelepţiţi-vă nebunilor! ⁶ Asculaţi, căci am lucruri mari de spus, şi buzele mi se deschid ca să înveţe pe alţii ce este drept. ⁷ Căci gura mea vesteşte adevărul, şi buzele mele urăsc minciuna! ⁸ Toate cuvintele gurii mele sînt drepte, n'au nimic neadevărat nici sucit în ele. ⁹ Toate sînt lămurite pentru cel priceput, şi drepte pentru ceice au găsit ştiinţa. ¹⁰ Primiţi mai de grabă învăţăturile mele decît argintul, şi mai de grabă ştiinţa de cît aurul scump. ¹¹ Căci înţelepciunea preţuieşte mai mult de cît mărgăritarele, şi nici un lucru de preţ nu se poate asemui cu ea. ¹² Eu, Înţelepciunea, am ca locuinţă mintea, şi pot născoci cele mai chibzuite planuri.

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Чи ж мудрість не кличе, і не подає свого голосу розум? ² На верхів'ях холмів, при дорозі та на перехрестях стоїть он вона! ³ При брамах, при вході до міста, де входиться в двері, там голосно кличе вона: ⁴ До вас, мужі, я кличу, а мій голос до людських синів: ⁵ Зрозумійте но, неуки, мудрість, зрозумійте ви розум, безглузді! ⁶ Послухайте, я бо шляхетне кажу, і відкриття моїх губ то простота. ⁷ Бо правду говорять уста мої, а лукавство гидота для губ моїх. ⁸ Всі слова моїх уст справедливі, нема в них крутійства й лукавства. ⁹ Усі вони прості, хто їх розуміє, і щирі для тих, хто знаходить знання. ¹⁰ Візьміть ви картання моє, а не срібло, і знання, добірніше від щирого золота: ¹¹ ліпша бо мудрість за перли, і не рівняються їй всі клейноди! ¹² Я, мудрість, живу разом з розумом, і знаходжу пізнання розважне.
