  2 H3290 And Jacob's H639 anger H2734 was kindled [H8799]   H7354 against Rachel H559 : and he said [H8799]   H430 , Am I in God's H4513 stead, who hath withheld [H8804]   H6529 from thee the fruit H990 of the womb?
  3 H559 And she said [H8799]   H519 , Behold my maid H1090 Bilhah H935 , go in [H8798]   H3205 unto her; and she shall bear [H8799]   H1290 upon my knees H1129 , that I may also have children [H8735]   by her.
  4 H5414 And she gave [H8799]   H1090 him Bilhah H8198 her handmaid H802 to wife H3290 : and Jacob H935 went in [H8799]   unto her.
  5 H1090 And Bilhah H2029 conceived [H8799]   H3205 , and bare [H8799]   H3290 Jacob H1121 a son.
  6 H7354 And Rachel H559 said [H8799]   H430 , God H1777 hath judged [H8804]   H8085 me, and hath also heard [H8804]   H6963 my voice H5414 , and hath given [H8799]   H1121 me a son H7121 : therefore called [H8804]   H8034 she his name H1835 Dan.
  7 H1090 And Bilhah H7354 Rachel's H8198 maid H2029 conceived [H8799]   H3205 again, and bare [H8799]   H3290 Jacob H8145 a second H1121 son.
  8 H7354 And Rachel H559 said [H8799]   H430 , With great H5319 wrestlings H6617 have I wrestled [H8738]   H269 with my sister H3201 , and I have prevailed [H8804]   H7121 : and she called [H8799]   H8034 his name H5321 Naphtali.
  9 H3812 When Leah H7200 saw [H8799]   H5975 that she had left [H8804]   H3205 bearing [H8800]   H3947 , she took [H8799]   H2153 Zilpah H8198 her maid H5414 , and gave [H8799]   H3290 her Jacob H802 to wife.
  10 H2153 And Zilpah H3812 Leah's H8198 maid H3205 bare [H8799]   H3290 Jacob H1121 a son.
  11 H3812 And Leah H559 said [H8799]   H1409 , A troop H935 cometh [H8804]   H7121 : and she called [H8799]   H8034 his name H1410 Gad.
  12 H2153 And Zilpah H3812 Leah's H8198 maid H3205 bare [H8799]   H3290 Jacob H8145 a second H1121 son.
  13 H3812 And Leah H559 said [H8799]   H837 , Happy am I H1323 , for the daughters H833 will call me blessed [H8765]   H7121 : and she called [H8799]   H8034 his name H836 Asher.
  14 H7205 And Reuben H3212 went in [H8799]   H3117 the days H2406 of wheat H7105 harvest H4672 , and found [H8799]   H1736 mandrakes H7704 in the field H935 , and brought [H8686]   H517 them unto his mother H3812 Leah H7354 . Then Rachel H559 said [H8799]   H3812 to Leah H5414 , Give me [H8798]   H1121 , I pray thee, of thy son's H1736 mandrakes.
  15 H559 And she said [H8799]   H4592 unto her, Is it a small matter H3947 that thou hast taken [H8800]   H376 my husband H3947 ? and wouldest thou take away [H8800]   H1121 my son's H1736 mandrakes H7354 also? And Rachel H559 said [H8799]   H7901 , Therefore he shall lie [H8799]   H3915 with thee to night H8478 for H1121 thy son's H1736 mandrakes.
  16 H3290 And Jacob H935 came [H8799]   H7704 out of the field H6153 in the evening H3812 , and Leah H3318 went out [H8799]   H7125 to meet [H8800]   H559 him, and said [H8799]   H935 , Thou must come in [H8799]   H7936 unto me; for surely [H8800]   H7936 I have hired [H8804]   H1121 thee with my son's H1736 mandrakes H7901 . And he lay [H8799]   H3915 with her that night.
  17 H430 And God H8085 hearkened [H8799]   H3812 unto Leah H2029 , and she conceived [H8799]   H3205 , and bare [H8799]   H3290 Jacob H2549 the fifth H1121 son.
  18 H3812 And Leah H559 said [H8799]   H430 , God H5414 hath given [H8804]   H7939 me my hire H834 , because H5414 I have given [H8804]   H8198 my maiden H376 to my husband H7121 : and she called [H8799]   H8034 his name H3485 Issachar.
  19 H3812 And Leah H2029 conceived [H8799]   H3205 again, and bare [H8799]   H3290 Jacob H8345 the sixth H1121 son.
  20 H3812 And Leah H559 said [H8799]   H430 , God H2064 hath endued [H8804]   H2896 me with a good H2065 dowry H6471 ; now H376 will my husband H2082 dwell [H8799]   H3205 with me, because I have born [H8804]   H8337 him six H1121 sons H7121 : and she called [H8799]   H8034 his name H2074 Zebulun.
  21 H310 And afterwards H3205 she bare [H8804]   H1323 a daughter H7121 , and called [H8799]   H8034 her name H1783 Dinah.
  22 H430 And God H2142 remembered [H8799]   H7354 Rachel H430 , and God H8085 hearkened [H8799]   H6605 to her, and opened [H8799]   H7358 her womb.
  23 H2029 And she conceived [H8799]   H3205 , and bare [H8799]   H1121 a son H559 ; and said [H8799]   H430 , God H622 hath taken away [H8804]   H2781 my reproach:
  24 H7121 And she called [H8799]   H8034 his name H3130 Joseph H559 ; and said [H8800]   H3068 , The LORD H3254 shall add [H8686]   H312 to me another H1121 son.
  25 H7354 And it came to pass, when Rachel H3205 had born [H8804]   H3130 Joseph H3290 , that Jacob H559 said [H8799]   H3837 unto Laban H7971 , Send me away [H8761]   H3212 , that I may go [H8799]   H4725 unto mine own place H776 , and to my country.
  26 H5414 Give [H8798]   H802 me my wives H3206 and my children H2004 , for H5647 whom I have served [H8804]   H3212 thee, and let me go [H8799]   H3045 : for thou knowest [H8804]   H5656 my service H5647 which I have done [H8804]   thee.
  27 H3837 And Laban H559 said [H8799]   H4672 unto him, I pray thee, if I have found [H8804]   H2580 favour H5869 in thine eyes H5172 , tarry: for I have learned by experience [H8765]   H3068 that the LORD H1288 hath blessed [H8762]   H1558 me for thy sake.
  28 H559 And he said [H8799]   H5344 , Appoint [H8798]   H7939 me thy wages H5414 , and I will give [H8799]   it .
  29 H559 And he said [H8799]   H3045 unto him, Thou knowest [H8804]   H834 how H5647 I have served [H8804]   H834 thee, and how H4735 thy cattle was with me.
  30 H4592 For it was little H6440 which thou hadst before I H6555 came, and it is now increased [H8799]   H7230 unto a multitude H3068 ; and the LORD H1288 hath blessed [H8762]   H7272 thee since my coming H4970 : and now when H6213 shall I provide [H8799]   H1004 for mine own house also?
  31 H559 And he said [H8799]   H5414 , What shall I give thee [H8799]   H3290 ? And Jacob H559 said [H8799]   H5414 , Thou shalt not give [H8799]   H3972 me any thing H6213 : if thou wilt do [H8799]   H1697 this thing H7725 for me, I will again [H8799]   H7462 feed [H8799]   H8104 and keep [H8799]   H6629 thy flock:
  32 H5674 I will pass [H8799]   H6629 through all thy flock H3117 to day H5493 , removing [H8687]   H5348 from thence all the speckled H2921 and spotted [H8803]   H7716 cattle H2345 , and all the brown H7716 cattle H3775 among the sheep H2921 , and the spotted [H8803]   H5348 and speckled H5795 among the goats H7939 : and of such shall be my hire.
  33 H6666 So shall my righteousness H6030 answer [H8804]   H3117 for me in time H4279 to come H935 , when it shall come [H8799]   H7939 for my hire H6440 before thy face H3605 : every one H5348 that is not speckled H2921 and spotted [H8803]   H5795 among the goats H2345 , and brown H3775 among the sheep H1589 , that shall be counted stolen [H8803]   with me.
  34 H3837 And Laban H559 said [H8799]   H3863 , Behold, I would it might be H1697 according to thy word.
  35 H5493 And he removed [H8686]   H3117 that day H8495 the he goats H6124 that were ringstraked H2921 and spotted [H8803]   H5795 , and all the she goats H5348 that were speckled H2921 and spotted [H8803]   H3836 , and every one that had some white H2345 in it, and all the brown H3775 among the sheep H5414 , and gave [H8799]   H3027 them into the hand H1121 of his sons.
  36 H7760 And he set [H8799]   H7969 three H3117 days H1870 ' journey H3290 betwixt himself and Jacob H3290 : and Jacob H7462 fed [H8802]   H3498 the rest [H8737]   H3837 of Laban's H6629 flocks.
  37 H3290 And Jacob H3947 took [H8799]   H4731 him rods H3892 of green H3839 poplar H3869 , and of the hazel H6196 and chesnut tree H6478 ; and pilled [H8762]   H3836 white H6479 strakes H3836 in them, and made the white H4286 appear H4731 which was in the rods.
  38 H3322 And he set [H8686]   H4731 the rods H6478 which he had pilled [H8765]   H5227 before H6629 the flocks H7298 in the gutters H4325 in the watering H8268 troughs H6629 when the flocks H935 came [H8799]   H8354 to drink [H8800]   H3179 , that they should conceive [H8799]   H935 when they came [H8800]   H8354 to drink [H8800]  .
  39 H6629 And the flocks H3179 conceived [H8799]   H4731 before the rods H3205 , and brought forth [H8799]   H6629 cattle H6124 ringstraked H5348 , speckled H2921 , and spotted [H8803]  .
  40 H3290 And Jacob H6504 did separate [H8689]   H3775 the lambs H5414 , and set [H8799]   H6440 the faces H6629 of the flocks H413 toward H6124 the ringstraked H2345 , and all the brown H6629 in the flock H3837 of Laban H7896 ; and he put [H8799]   H5739 his own flocks H7896 by themselves, and put [H8804]   H3837 them not unto Laban's H6629 cattle.
  41 H7194 And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger [H8794]   H6629 cattle H3179 did conceive [H8763]   H3290 , that Jacob H7760 laid [H8804]   H4731 the rods H5869 before the eyes H6629 of the cattle H7298 in the gutters H3179 , that they might conceive [H8763]   H4731 among the rods.
  42 H6629 But when the cattle H5848 were feeble [H8687]   H7760 , he put them not in [H8799]   H5848 : so the feebler [H8803]   H3837 were Laban's H7194 , and the stronger [H8803]   H3290 Jacob's.
  43 H376 And the man H6555 increased [H8799]   H3966 exceedingly H3966   H7227 , and had much H6629 cattle H8198 , and maidservants H5650 , and menservants H1581 , and camels H2543 , and asses.

  3 H559 ותאמר And she said, H2009 הנה Behold H519 אמתי my maid H1090 בלהה Bilhah, H935 בא go in H413 אליה unto H3205 ותלד her; and she shall bear H5921 על upon H1290 ברכי my knees, H1129 ואבנה have children H1571 גם may also H595 אנכי that I H4480 ממנה׃ by
  4 H5414 ותתן And she gave H853 לו את   H1090 בלהה him Bilhah H8198 שׁפחתה her handmaid H802 לאשׁה to wife: H935 ויבא went in H413 אליה unto H3290 יעקב׃ and Jacob
  5 H2029 ותהר conceived, H1090 בלהה And Bilhah H3205 ותלד and bore H3290 ליעקב Jacob H1121 בן׃ a son.
  6 H559 ותאמר said, H7354 רחל And Rachel H1777 דנני hath judged H430 אלהים God H1571 וגם me, and hath also H8085 שׁמע heard H6963 בקלי my voice, H5414 ויתן and hath given H1121 לי בן me a son: H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H7121 קראה called H8034 שׁמו she his name H1835 דן׃ Dan.
  7 H2029 ותהר conceived H5750 עוד again, H3205 ותלד and bore H1090 בלהה And Bilhah H8198 שׁפחת maid H7354 רחל Rachel's H1121 בן son. H8145 שׁני a second H3290 ליעקב׃ Jacob
  8 H559 ותאמר said, H7354 רחל And Rachel H5319 נפתולי wrestlings H430 אלהים With great H6617 נפתלתי have I wrestled H5973 עם with H269 אחתי my sister, H1571 גם and H3201 יכלתי I have prevailed: H7121 ותקרא and she called H8034 שׁמו his name H5321 נפתלי׃ Naphtali.
  9 H7200 ותרא saw H3812 לאה When Leah H3588 כי that H5975 עמדה she had left H3205 מלדת bearing, H3947 ותקח she took H853 את   H2153 זלפה Zilpah H8198 שׁפחתה her maid, H5414 ותתן and gave H853 אתה   H3290 ליעקב her Jacob H802 לאשׁה׃ to wife.
  10 H3205 ותלד bore H2153 זלפה And Zilpah H8198 שׁפחת maid H3812 לאה Leah's H3290 ליעקב Jacob H1121 בן׃ a son.
  11 H559 ותאמר said, H3812 לאה And Leah H1409 בגד   H7121 ותקרא and she called H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H1410 גד׃ Gad.
  12 H3205 ותלד bore H2153 זלפה And Zilpah H8198 שׁפחת maid H3812 לאה Leah's H1121 בן son. H8145 שׁני a second H3290 ליעקב׃ Jacob
  13 H559 ותאמר said, H3812 לאה And Leah H837 באשׁרי Happy H3588 כי am I, for H833 אשׁרוני will call me blessed: H1323 בנות the daughters H7121 ותקרא and she called H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H836 אשׁר׃ Asher.
  14 H1980 וילך went H7205 ראובן And Reuben H3117 בימי in the days H7105 קציר harvest, H2406 חטים of wheat H4672 וימצא and found H1736 דודאים mandrakes H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H935 ויבא and brought H853 אתם   H413 אל them unto H3812 לאה Leah. H517 אמו his mother H559 ותאמר said H7354 רחל Then Rachel H413 אל to H3812 לאה Leah, H5414 תני Give H4994 נא me, I pray thee, H1736 לי מדודאי mandrakes. H1121 בנך׃ of thy son's
  15 H559 ותאמר And she said H4592 לה המעט unto her, a small matter H3947 קחתך that thou hast taken H853 את   H582 אישׁי   H3947 ולקחת and wouldest thou take away H1571 גם also? H853 את   H1736 דודאי mandrakes H1121 בני my son's H559 ותאמר said, H7354 רחל And Rachel H3651 לכן Therefore H7901 ישׁכב he shall lie H5973 עמך with H3915 הלילה thee tonight H8478 תחת for H1736 דודאי mandrakes.   16 H935 ויבא came H3290 יעקב And Jacob H4480 מן out of H7704 השׂדה the field H6153 בערב in the evening, H3318 ותצא went out H3812 לאה and Leah H7125 לקראתו to meet H559 ותאמר him, and said, H413 אלי unto H935 תבוא Thou must come in H3588 כי me; for H7936 שׂכר   H7936 שׂכרתיך   H1736 בדודאי mandrakes. H1121 בני thee with my son's H7901 וישׁכב And he lay H5973 עמה with H3915 בלילה night. H1931 הוא׃ her that
  17 H8085 וישׁמע hearkened H430 אלהים And God H413 אל unto H3812 לאה Leah, H2029 ותהר and she conceived, H3205 ותלד and bore H3290 ליעקב Jacob H1121 בן son. H2549 חמישׁי׃ the fifth
  18 H559 ותאמר said, H3812 לאה And Leah H5414 נתן hath given H430 אלהים God H7939 שׂכרי me my hire, H834 אשׁר because H5414 נתתי I have given H8198 שׁפחתי my maiden H376 לאישׁי to my husband: H7121 ותקרא and she called H8034 שׁמו his name H3485 ישׂשכר׃ Issachar.
  19 H2029 ותהר conceived H5750 עוד again, H3812 לאה And Leah H3205 ותלד and bore H1121 בן son. H8345 שׁשׁי the sixth H3290 ליעקב׃ Jacob
  20 H559 ותאמר said, H3812 לאה And Leah H2064 זבדני hath endued H430 אלהים God H853 אתי   H2065 זבד dowry; H2896 טוב me a good H6471 הפעם now H2082 יזבלני dwell with H376 אישׁי will my husband H3588 כי me, because H3205 ילדתי I have born H8337 לו שׁשׁה him six H1121 בנים sons: H7121 ותקרא and she called H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H2074 זבלון׃ Zebulun.
  21 H310 ואחר And afterwards H3205 ילדה she bore H1323 בת a daughter, H7121 ותקרא and called H853 את   H8034 שׁמה her name H1783 דינה׃ Dinah.
  22 H2142 ויזכר remembered H430 אלהים And God H853 את   H7354 רחל Rachel, H8085 וישׁמע hearkened H413 אליה to H430 אלהים and God H6605 ויפתח her, and opened H853 את   H7358 רחמה׃ her womb.
  23 H2029 ותהר And she conceived, H3205 ותלד and bore H1121 בן a son; H559 ותאמר and said, H622 אסף hath taken away H430 אלהים God H853 את   H2781 חרפתי׃ my reproach:
  24 H7121 ותקרא And she called H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H3130 יוסף Joseph; H559 לאמר and said, H3254 יסף shall add H3068 יהוה The LORD H1121 לי בן son. H312 אחר׃ to me another
  25 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H834 כאשׁר when H3205 ילדה had born H7354 רחל Rachel H853 את   H3130 יוסף Joseph, H559 ויאמר said H3290 יעקב that Jacob H413 אל unto H3837 לבן Laban, H7971 שׁלחני Send me away, H1980 ואלכה that I may go H413 אל unto H4725 מקומי mine own place, H776 ולארצי׃ and to my country.
  26 H5414 תנה Give H853 את   H802 נשׁי my wives H853 ואת   H3206 ילדי and my children, H834 אשׁר for whom H5647 עבדתי I have served H853 אתך   H1980 בהן ואלכה thee, and let me go: H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H3045 ידעת knowest H853 את   H5656 עבדתי my service H834 אשׁר which H5647 עבדתיך׃ I have done
  27 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H3837 לבן And Laban H518 אם if H4994 נא him, I pray thee, H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניך in thine eyes, H5172 נחשׁתי I have learned by experience H1288 ויברכני hath blessed H3068 יהוה that the LORD H1558 בגללך׃ me for thy sake.
  28 H559 ויאמר And he said, H5344 נקבה   H7939 שׂכרך me thy wages, H5921 עלי   H5414 ואתנה׃ and I will give
  29 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אליו unto H859 אתה him, Thou H3045 ידעת knowest H853 את   H834 אשׁר how H5647 עבדתיך I have served H853 ואת   H834 אשׁר thee, and how H1961 היה was H4735 מקנך thy cattle H854 אתי׃ with
  30 H3588 כי For H4592 מעט little H834 אשׁר which H1961 היה thou hadst H6440 לך לפני before H6555 ויפרץ I and it is increased H7230 לרב unto a multitude; H1288 ויברך hath blessed H3068 יהוה and the LORD H853 אתך   H7272 לרגלי thee since my coming: H6258 ועתה and now H4970 מתי when H6213 אעשׂה provide H1571 גם also? H595 אנכי shall I H1004 לביתי׃ for mine own house
  31 H559 ויאמר And he said, H4100 מה What H5414 אתן shall I give H559 לך ויאמר said, H3290 יעקב thee? And Jacob H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5414 תתן give H3972 לי מאומה me any thing: H518 אם if H6213 תעשׂה thou wilt do H1697 לי הדבר thing H2088 הזה this H7725 אשׁובה for me, I will again H7462 ארעה feed H6629 צאנך thy flock: H8104 אשׁמר׃ keep
  32 H5674 אעבר I will pass through H3605 בכל all H6629 צאנך thy flock H3117 היום today, H5493 הסר removing H8033 משׁם from thence H3605 כל all H7716 שׂה cattle, H5348 נקד the speckled H2921 וטלוא and spotted H3605 וכל and all H7716 שׂה cattle H2345 חום the brown H3775 בכשׂבים among the sheep, H2921 וטלוא and the spotted H5348 ונקד and speckled H5795 בעזים among the goats: H1961 והיה and shall be H7939 שׂכרי׃ my hire.
  33 H6030 וענתה answer H6666 בי צדקתי So shall my righteousness H3117 ביום for me in time H4279 מחר to come, H3588 כי when H935 תבוא it shall come H5921 על for H7939 שׂכרי my hire H6440 לפניך before thy face: H3605 כל every one H834 אשׁר that H369 איננו not H5348 נקד speckled H2921 וטלוא and spotted H5795 בעזים among the goats, H2345 וחום and brown H3775 בכשׂבים among the sheep, H1589 גנוב shall be counted stolen H1931 הוא that H854 אתי׃ with
  34 H559 ויאמר said, H3837 לבן And Laban H2005 הן Behold, H3863 לו I would H1961 יהי it might be H1697 כדברך׃ according to thy word.
  35 H5493 ויסר And he removed H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא that H853 את   H8495 התישׁים the he goats H6124 העקדים that were ringstreaked H2921 והטלאים and spotted, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H5795 העזים the she goats H5348 הנקדות that were speckled H2921 והטלאת and spotted, H3605 כל every one H834 אשׁר that H3836 לבן had white H3605 בו וכל in it, and all H2345 חום the brown H3775 בכשׂבים among the sheep, H5414 ויתן and gave H3027 ביד into the hand H1121 בניו׃ of his sons.
  36 H7760 וישׂם And he set H1870 דרך journey H7969 שׁלשׁת three H3117 ימים days' H996 בינו between H996 ובין   H3290 יעקב himself and Jacob: H3290 ויעקב and Jacob H7462 רעה fed H853 את   H6629 צאן flocks. H3837 לבן of Laban's H3498 הנותרת׃ the rest
  37 H3947 ויקח took H3290 לו יעקב And Jacob H4731 מקל him rods H3839 לבנה poplar, H3892 לח of green H3869 ולוז and of the hazel H6196 וערמון and chestnut tree; H6478 ויפצל and peeled H6479 בהן פצלות streaks H3836 לבנות white H4286 מחשׂף appear H3836 הלבן and made the white H834 אשׁר which H5921 על in H4731 המקלות׃ the rods.
  38 H3322 ויצג And he set H853 את   H4731 המקלות the rods H834 אשׁר which H6478 פצל he had peeled H7298 ברהטים in the gutters H8268 בשׁקתות troughs H4325 המים in the watering H834 אשׁר when H935 תבאן came H6629 הצאן the flocks H8354 לשׁתות to drink, H5227 לנכח before H6629 הצאן the flocks H3179 ויחמנה that they should conceive H935 בבאן when they came H8354 לשׁתות׃ to drink.
  39 H3179 ויחמו conceived H6629 הצאן And the flocks H413 אל before H4731 המקלות the rods, H3205 ותלדן and brought forth H6629 הצאן cattle H6124 עקדים ringstreaked, H5348 נקדים speckled, H2921 וטלאים׃ and spotted.

  41 H1961 והיה And it came to pass, H3605 בכל whensoever H3179 יחם did conceive, H6629 הצאן cattle H7194 המקשׁרות the stronger H7760 ושׂם laid H3290 יעקב that Jacob H853 את   H4731 המקלות the rods H5869 לעיני before the eyes H6629 הצאן of the cattle H7298 ברהטים in the gutters, H3179 ליחמנה that they might conceive H4731 במקלות׃ among the rods.
  42 H5848 ובהעטיף were feeble, H6629 הצאן But when the cattle H3808 לא not H7760 ישׂים he put H1961 והיה were H5848 העטפים in: so the feebler H3837 ללבן Laban's, H7194 והקשׁרים and the stronger H3290 ליעקב׃ Jacob's.
