Numbers 11 And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the outermost parts of the camp.

2 H5971 And the people H6817 cried H4872 unto Moses; H4872 and when Moses H6419 prayed H3068 unto the Lord, H784 the fire H8257 was quenched.

3 H7121 And he called H8034 the name H1931 of the H4725 place H8404 Taberah: H784 because the fire H3068 of the Lord H1197 burnt among them.

4 H628 And the mixed multitude H7130 that was among H183 them fell a lusting: H1121 and the sons H3478 of Israel H1058 also wept H7725 again, H559 and said, H1320 Who shall give us flesh H398 to eat?

5 H2142 We remember H1710 the fish, H398 which we did eat H4714 in Egypt H2600 freely; H7180 the cucumbers, H20 and the melons, H2682 and the leeks, H1211 and the onions, H7762 and the garlic:

6 H5315 But now our soul H3002 is dried away: H1115 there is nothing at all, beside H4478 this manna, H5869 before our eyes.

7 H4478 And the manna H1407 was as coriander H2233 seed, H5869 and the colour H5869 there as the colour H916 of bdellium.

8 H5971 And the people H7751 went about, H3950 and gathered H2912 it, and ground H7347 it in mills, H1743 or beat H4085 it in a mortar, H1310 and baked H6517 it in pans, H6213 and made H5692 cakes H2940 of it: and the taste H2940 of it was as the taste H3955 of fresh H8081 oil.

9 H2919 And when the dew H3381 fell H4264 upon the camp H3915 in the night, H4478 the manna H3381 fell upon it.

10 H4872 Then Moses H8085 heard H5971 the people H1058 weep H4940 throughout their families, H376 every man H6607 in the door H168 of his tent: H639 and the anger H3068 of the Lord H2734 was kindled H3966 greatly; H4872 Moses H7489 also was displeased.

11 H4872 And Moses H559 said H3068 unto the Lord, H7489 Why have you afflicted H5650 your servant? H4672 and why have I not found H2580 favor H5869 in your sight, H7760 that you lay H4853 the burden H5971 of all this people upon me?

12 H2029 Have I conceived H5971 all this people? H3205 have I fathered H559 them, that you should say H5375 unto me, Carry H2436 them in your bosom, H539 as a nursing father H5375 beareth H3243 the sucking child, H127 unto the land H7650 which you swore H1 unto their fathers?

13 H370 From Where H1320 should I have flesh H5414 to give H5971 unto all this people? H1058 for they weep H559 unto me, saying, H5414 Give H1320 us flesh, H398 that we may eat.

14 H3201 I am not able H5375 to carry H5971 all this people H905 alone, H3515 because it is too heavy for me.

15 H6213 And if you deal H2026 thus with me, kill H2026 me, I pray you, out of hand, H4672 if I have found H2580 favor H5869 in your sight; H7200 and let me not see H7451 my wretchedness.

16 H3068 And the Lord H559 said H4872 unto Moses, H622 Gather H7657 unto me seventy H376 men H2205 of the elders H3478 of Israel, H3045 whom you know H2205 to be the elders H5971 of the people, H7860 and officers H3947 over them; and bring H168 them unto the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H3320 that they may stand there with you.

17 H3381 And I will come down H1696 and talk H680 with you there: and I will take H7307 of the spirit H7760 which is upon you, and will put H5375 it upon them; and they shall carry H4853 the burden H5971 of the people H5375 with you, that you carry it not yourself alone.

18 H559 And say H5971 you unto the people, H6942 Sanctify H4279 yourselves against to morrow, H398 and you shall eat H1320 flesh: H1058 for you have wept H241 in the ears H3068 of the Lord, H559 saying, H1320 Who shall give us flesh H398 to eat? H2895 for it was well H4714 with us in Egypt: H3068 therefore the Lord H5414 will give H1320 you flesh, H398 and you shall eat.

19 H398 You shall not eat H259 one H3117 day, H3117 nor two days, H2568 nor five H3117 days, H6235 neither ten H3117 days, H6242 nor twenty H3117 days;

20 H2320 But even a whole month, H3318 until it come out H639 at your nostrils, H2214 and it be loathsome H3282 unto you: because H3988 that you have despised H3068 the Lord H7130 which is among H1058 you, and have wept H6440 before H559 him, saying, H3318 Why came we forth H4714 out of Egypt?

21 H4872 And Moses H559 said, H5971 The people, H7130 among H8337 whom I am, are six H3967 hundred H505 thousand H7273 footmen; H559 and you have said, H5414 I will give H1320 them flesh, H398 that they may eat H3117 a whole H2320 month.

22 H6629 Shall the flocks H1241 and the herds H7819 be slain H4672 for them, to suffice H1709 them? or shall all the fish H3220 of the sea H622 be gathered together H4672 for them, to suffice them?

23 H3068 And the Lord H559 said H4872 unto Moses, H3068 Is the Lord's H3027 hand H7114 grew short? H7200 you shall see H1697 now whether my word H7136 shall come to pass unto you or not.

24 H4872 And Moses H3318 went out, H1696 and told H5971 the people H1697 the words H3068 of the Lord, H622 and gathered H7657 the seventy H376 men H2205 of the elders H5971 of the people, H5975 and set H5439 them round about H168 the tabernacle.

25 H3068 And the Lord H3381 came down H6051 in a cloud, H1696 and spoke H680 unto him, and took H7307 of the spirit H5414 that was upon him, and gave H7657 it unto the seventy H2205 elders: H7307 and it came to pass, that, when the spirit H5117 rested H5012 upon them, they prophesied, H3254 but did not any more.

26 H7604 But there remained H8147 two H582 of the men H4264 in the camp, H8034 the name H259 of the one H419 was Eldad, H8034 and the name H8145 of the other H4312 Medad: H7307 and the spirit H5117 rested H3789 upon them; and they were of them that were written, H3318 but went not out H168 unto the tabernacle: H5012 and they prophesied H4264 in the camp.

27 H7323 And there ran H5288 a young man, H5046 and told H4872 Moses, H559 and said, H419 Eldad H4312 and Medad H5012 do prophesy H4264 in the camp.

28 H3091 And Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun, H8334 the servant H4872 of Moses, H979 one of his young men, H6030 answered H559 and said, H113 My lord H4872 Moses, H3607 forbid them.

29 H4872 And Moses H559 said H7065 unto him, Enviest H5414 you for my sake? would God that all the H3068 Lord's H5971 people H5030 were prophets, H3068 and that the Lord H5414 would put H7307 his spirit upon them!

30 H4872 And Moses H622 took H4264 himself into the camp, H2205 he and the elders H3478 of Israel.

31 H5265 And there went forth H7307 a wind H3068 from the Lord, H1468 and brought H7958 quails H3220 from the sea, H5203 and let them fall H4264 by the camp, H3117 as it were a day's H1870 journey H3541 on this side, H3117 and as it were a day's H1870 journey H3541 on the other side, H5439 round about H4264 the camp, H520 and as it were two cubits H6440 high upon the face H776 of the earth.

32 H5971 And the people H6965 stood up H3117 all that day, H3915 and all that night, H4283 and all the next H3117 day, H622 and they gathered H7958 the quails: H4591 he that gathered least H622 gathered H6235 ten H2563 homers: H7849 and they spread H7849 them all abroad H5439 for themselves round about H4264 the camp.

33 H1320 And while the flesh H2962 was yet H8127 between their teeth, H3772 before it was chewed, H639 the wrath H3068 of the Lord H2734 was kindled H5971 against the people, H3068 and the Lord H5221 struck H5971 the people H3966 with a very H7227 great H4347 plague.

34 H7121 And he called H8034 the name H4725 of that place H6914 Kibroth–hattaavah: H6912 because there they buried H5971 the people H183 that lusted.

35 H5971 And the people H5265 journeyed H6914 from Kibroth–hattaavah H2698 unto Hazeroth; H2698 and lived at Hazeroth.
