  6 H5203 [H8804] Thou hast forsaken H5002 [H8803] me, saith H3068 the LORD, H3212 [H8799] thou art gone H268 backward: H5186 [H8686] therefore will I stretch out H3027 my hand H7843 [H8686] against thee, and decay H3811 [H8738] thee; I am weary H5162 [H8736] with sighing.
7 H2219 [H8799] And I will fan H4214 them with a fan H8179 in the gates H776 of the land; H7921 [H8765] I will bereave H6 [H8765] them of children, I will destroy H5971 my people, H7725 [H8804] since they return H1870 not from their ways.
8 H490 Their widows H6105 [H8804] are multiplied H2344 to me above the sand H3220 of the seas: H935 [H8689] I have brought H517 upon them against the mother H970 of the young men H7703 [H8802] a spoiler H6672 at noonday: H5307 [H8689] I have caused him to fall H6597 upon it suddenly, H928 and terrors H5892 upon the city.
9 H3205 [H8802] She that hath borne H7651 seven H535 [H8797] languisheth: H5301 [H8804] she hath blown out H5315 her breath; H8121 her sun H935 [H8804] is gone H3119 H3117 [H8676] down while it was yet day: H954 [H8804] she hath been pale H2659 [H8804] and confounded: H7611 and the remnant H5414 [H8799] of them will I give H2719 to the sword H6440 at the face of H341 [H8802] their enemies, H5002 [H8803] saith H3068 the LORD.

Upon her I have cast suddenly terror and consternation. 9 She who was the mother of seven is childless; her soul is afflicted, the sun set upon her while it is yet mid-day; she is ashamed and confounded: the rest of them I will deliver up to the sword before their enemies.

Leeser(i) 1 And the Lord said unto me, If Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my favor would still not be toward this people: send them away out of my sight, that they may go forth. 2 And it shall come to pass, if they should say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth, that thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord, Such as are destined to death, to death; and such as are destined to the sword, to the sword; and such as are destined to famine, to famine; and such as are destined to captivity, to captivity. 3 And I will appoint over them four species, saith the Lord: The sword to slay, and the dogs to drag away, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and to destroy. 4 And I will cause them to become a horror unto all the kingdoms of the earth, on account of Menasseh the son of Hezekiah the king of Judah, because of what he did in Jerusalem. 5 For who will have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who will condole with thee? or who will go aside to ask after thy welfare? 6 Thou hast indeed forsaken me, saith the Lord, thou art gone backward; therefore do I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee: I am weary with repenting. 7 And I winnow them with a fan in the gates of the land: I make childless, I annihilate my people, since from their ways they have not turned away. 8 Their widows are more numerous before me than the sand of the seas: I bring unto them, over the mothers of the young men, a waster at noonday; I cause to fall upon her suddenly the enemy with his terrors. 9 She that had born seven children fadeth away; she breatheth out her soul, her sun is set while it is yet day; she is made ashamed and put to the blush:—and their residue will I give up to the sword before their enemies, saith the Lord.
YLT(i) 1 And Jehovah saith unto me: Though Moses and Samuel should stand before Me, My soul is not toward this people, Send from before My face, and they go out. 2 And it hath come to pass, when they say to thee, Whither do we go out? that thou hast said unto them, Thus said Jehovah: Those who are for death—to death, And those who are for the sword, to the sword, And those who are for famine, to famine, And those who are for captivity, to captivity. 3 And I have appointed over them four kinds, an affirmation of Jehovah, The sword to slay, and the dogs to drag, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the earth, to consume and to devour. 4 And I have given them for a trembling To all kingdoms of the earth, Because of Manasseh son of Hezekiah king of Judah, For that which he did in Jerusalem. 5 For who hath pity on thee, O Jerusalem? And who doth bemoan for thee? And who turneth aside to ask of thy welfare? 6 Thou—thou hast left Me—an affirmation of Jehovah, Backward thou goest, And I stretch out My hand against thee, And I destroy thee, I have been weary of repenting, 7 And I scatter them with a fan, in the gates the land, I bereaved, I have destroyed My people, From their ways they turned not back. 8 Its widows have been more to Me than the sand of the seas, I brought in to them—against the mother—A young man—a spoiler—at noon. I caused to fall upon her suddenly, wrath and trouble. 9 Languished hath the bearer of seven, She hath breathed out her spirit, Gone in hath her sun while yet day, It hath been ashamed and confounded, And their residue to the sword I give up before their enemies, An affirmation of Jehovah.

Send them out of My sight, and let them go out. 2 And it will be, if they say to you, Where shall we go? Then you shall tell them, So says Jehovah: Those who are for death, go to death; and those for the sword, to the sword; and those for the famine, to the famine; and those for the captivity, to the captivity. 3 And I will set over them four kinds, says Jehovah; the sword to kill, and the dogs to tear, and the birds of the heaven and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy. 4 And I will make them a horror to all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem. 5 For who shall have pity on you, O Jerusalem? Or who shall weep over you? Or who shall turn aside to ask your welfare? 6 You have forsaken Me, says Jehovah; you have gone backward; therefore I will stretch out My hand against you, and destroy you; I am weary with repenting. 7 And I will winnow them with a fork in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of sons; I will destroy My people, since they do not turn from their ways. 8 Their widows are more numerous about Me than the sand of the seas; I have brought on them, against a mother of a young man, a ravager at noonday; I have caused anguish and terror to fall on her suddenly. 9 She who bore seven languishes; she has breathed out her life; her sun has gone down while it was yet day. She has been ashamed and humiliated; and I will deliver the rest of them to the sword before their enemies, says Jehovah.
LITV(i) 1 Then Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My soul could not be toward this people. Send them out from before My face; yea, let them go out. 2 And it will be, if they say to you, Where shall we go? Then you will tell them, So says Jehovah, Those who are for death, go to death; and those for the sword, to the sword; and those for the famine, to the famine; and those for the captivity, to the captivity. 3 And I will set over them four kinds, says Jehovah: the sword to kill, and the dogs to drag off, and the birds of the heaven and the beast of the earth to devour and destroy. 4 And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah; for what he did in Jerusalem. 5 For who shall have pity on you, O Jerusalem? Or who shall weep over you? Or who shall turn aside to ask your welfare? 6 You have forsaken Me, says Jehovah. You have gone backward, so I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you; I am weary of repenting. 7 And I will sift them with a fork in the gates of the land; I will bereave; I will destroy My people, for they do not turn from their ways. 8 Their widows are more numerous about Me than the sand of the seas. I have brought for them a ravager at noonday against the mother of a young man; I caused anguish and terror to fall on her suddenly. 9 She who bore seven now languishes; she has breathed out her life; her sun has gone down while it was still day. She has been ashamed and humiliated, and I will deliver the rest of them to the sword before their enemies, says Jehovah.

JUDGMENT
And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go. 2 And so be it, if they say to you, Where go we? you say to them, Thus says Yah Veh: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity: 3 and upon them I visit four families - an oracle of Yah Veh the sword to slaughter and the dogs to drag and the flyers of the heavens and the animals of the earth to devour and ruin: 4 and I give them for an agitation into all sovereigndoms of the earth, because of Menash Sheh the son of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, for what he worked in Yeru Shalem. 5 For who compassions you, O Yeru Shalem? And who wags over you? And who turns aside to ask of your shalom? 6 You abandoned me - an oracle of Yah Veh; you go backward: and I spread my hand against you, and ruin you; I weary with sighing: 7 and I fan them with a winnowing basket in the portals of the land; I bereave them; I destroy my people since they return not from their ways. 8 Their widows are mighty to me above the sand of the seas: I bring on them - against the mother of the youths a ravager at noon: I fell her suddenly with terrors and anguish: 9 she who birthed seven, languishes; her soul expires: her sun goes down while it is yet day; she shames and blushes: and I give their survivors to the sword at the face of their enemies - an oracle of Yah Veh.

Or who will bemoan thee? Or who will turn aside to ask of thy welfare? 6 Thou have rejected me, says LORD. Thou have gone backward. Therefore I have stretched out my hand against thee, and destroyed thee. I am weary with relenting. 7 And I have winnowed them with a fan in the gates of the land. I have bereaved them of sons. I have destroyed my people. They did not return from their ways. 8 Their widows have increased to me above the sand of the seas. I have brought upon them, against the mother of the young men, a destroyer at noonday. I have caused anguish and terrors to fall upon her suddenly. 9 She who has borne seven, languishes. She has given up the spirit. Her sun has gone down while it was yet day. She has been put to shame and confounded. And the residue of them I will deliver to the sword before their enemies, says LORD.

Then you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: As many as are for death, to death; and as many as are for famine, to famine; and as many as are for the sword, to the sword; and as many as are for captivity, to captivity. 3 And I will punish them with four kinds of death, says the Lord, the sword to slay, the dogs to tear, the wild beasts of the earth, and the birds of the sky to devour and destroy. 4 And I will deliver them up for distress to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for all that he did in Jerusalem. 5 Who will spare you, O Jerusalem? And who will fear for you? Or who will turn back to ask about your welfare? 6 You have turned away from Me, says the Lord, you will go back. Therefore I will stretch out My hand, and I will destroy you, and will spare them no more. 7 And I will completely scatter them; in the gates of My people they are bereaved of children. They have destroyed My people because of their iniquities. 8 Their widows have been multiplied more than the sand of the sea. I have brought young men against the mother, and distress at noonday. I have suddenly cast trembling and anxiety upon her. 9 She that bore seven is spent; her soul has fainted under trouble; her sun is gone down while it is yet noon; she is ashamed and disgraced. I will give the remnant of them to the sword before their enemies.
LXX2012(i) 1 And the Lord said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before my face, my soul could not be toward them: dismiss this people, and let them go forth. 2 And it shall be, if they say to you, Whither shall we go forth? then you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord; As many as are for death, to death; and as many as are for famine, to famine; and as many as are for the sword, to the sword; and as many as are for captivity, to captivity. 3 And I will punish them with four kinds [of death], says the Lord, the sword to kill, and the dogs to tear, and the wild beasts of the earth, and the birds of the sky to devour and destroy. 4 And I will deliver them up for distress to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasses son of Ezekias king of Juda, for all that he did in Jerusalem. 5 Who will spare you, O Jerusalem? and who will fear for you? or who will turn back [to ask] for your welfare? 6 You have turned away from me, says the Lord, you will go back: therefore I will stretch out my hand, and will destroy you, and will no more spare them. 7 And I will completely scatter them; in the gates of my people they are bereaved of children: they have destroyed my people because of their iniquities. 8 Their widows have been multiplied more than the sand of the sea: I have brought young men against the mother, [even] distress at noon-day: I have suddenly cast upon her trembling and anxiety. 9 She that bore seven is spent; her soul has fainted under trouble; her sun is gone down while it is yet noon; she is ashamed and disgraced: I will give the remnant of them to the sword before their enemies.
NSB(i) 1 Jehovah said to me: »I would not feel sorry for these people, even if Moses and Samuel were standing in front of me. Send them away from my presence, and let them go. 2 »When they ask you where they should go, say to them: This is what Jehovah says: Those who are to die will die. Those who are to die in wars will die in wars. Those who are to die in famines will die in famines. Those who are to die in captivity will die in captivity. 3 »I will appoint over them four kinds of punishment, declares Jehovah. I will send swords to kill, dogs to drag away, and birds of the air and animals of the earth to devour and destroy. 4 »I will make these people a horrifying (shocking) sight to all the kingdoms on the earth. This will happen because of what Judah's King Manasseh, son of Hezekiah, did in Jerusalem. 5 »Who will take pity on you, Jerusalem? No one will mourn for you. No one will bother to ask how you are doing. 6 »You left me, declares Jehovah. You turned your back on me. So I will stretch out my hand against you (use my power against you) and destroy you. I am tired of showing compassion to you. 7 »I will separate them with a winnowing shovel at the city gates. I will make them childless. I will destroy my people because they will not change their ways. 8 »Their widows will be more numerous than the grains of sand on the seashore. At noontime I will send a destroyer against the mothers of young men. I will suddenly bring anguish and terror to them. 9 »A mother who gives birth to seven sons will grow faint and breathe her last. She will die, ashamed and humiliated, while it is still daylight. I will put survivors from these people to death in the presence of their enemies, says Jehovah.

BKR(i) 1 Tedy řekl Hospodin ke mně: Byť se postavil Mojžíš i Samuel před oblíčejem mým, nikoli srdce nemohu míti k lidu tomuto. A kdo by tě politoval?

Aja heidät pois minun kasvojeni edestä, he menkööt!
Se konsa, mwen leve men m' sou nou pou m' detwi nou, paske mwen bouke pran pasyans ak nou. 7 Nan tout ti bouk nan peyi a, mwen mete nou nan laye pou vannen nou tankou pay. Mwen detwi pèp mwen an, mwen kite yo san pitit. Men, yo pa kite move chemen yo t'ap swiv la. 8 Mwen fè gen plis madanm ki pèdi mari yo nan peyi a pase gen grenn sab bò lanmè.

Lithuanian(i) 1 Tada Viešpats man tarė: “Net jei Mozė ir Samuelis stotų mano akivaizdoje, mano širdies nepalenktų, nepagailėčiau šitos tautos. 2 A jeźliby rzekli: Dokądże pójdziemy?
