Ya TUHAN, Engkau mengasihani orang-orang yang tidak mempunyai siapa pun yang dapat mereka andalkan." ⁴ (14-5) TUHAN berkata "Umat-Ku yang menyeleweng, Kuambil kembali dan Kukasihi dengan sepenuh hati; mereka tak akan Kumarahi lagi. ⁵ (14-6) Bagi orang Israel Aku seperti hujan yang membasahi tanah yang kersang. Mereka akan berkembang seperti bunga dan seperti pohon cemara yang dalam akarnya. ⁶ (14-7) Mereka akan hidup dan bertambah seperti tanaman yang bertunas di mana-mana, seperti pohon zaitun indahnya harum seperti pohon cemara! ⁷ (14-8) Mereka akan kembali kepada-Ku dan tinggal dalam perlindungan-Ku. Dengan pesat mereka akan bertambah makmur, seperti gandum bertumbuh di ladang yang subur dan seperti kebun anggur. Seperti air anggur Libanon nama mereka termasyhur. ⁸ (14-9) Orang Israel akan membuang patung-patung berhalanya; mereka Kupelihara dan Kukabulkan doanya. Seperti pohon yang selalu banyak daunnya, Aku akan menaungi mereka. Akulah sumber segala berkat mereka. Aku, TUHAN, telah berbicara." ⁹ (14-10) Semoga semua orang yang bijaksana mengerti apa yang tertulis di sini, dan memperhatikannya.
