YAH VEH APPEALS TO YISRA EL
O Yisra El, return to Yah Veh your Elohim; for you falter by your perversity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to Yah Veh: say to him, Bear all perversity and take the goodly: thus we shalam the bulllocks of our lips. 3 Neither Ashshur saves us; nor ride we on horses: nor say we any more to the work of our hands, Our elohim: for in you the orphan is mercied. 4 I heal their apostasy; I love them voluntarily: for my wrath turns from him. 5 I become as the dew to Yisra El: he blossoms as the lily and smites his roots as Lebanon: 6 his sprouts spread and his majesty becomes as the olive and his scent as Lebanon. 7 They who settle under his shadow return; they enliven as the crop and blossom as the vine: their memorial is as the wine of Lebanon. 8 Ephrayim, What have I to do any more with idols? I - I answer and observe him: I am as a green fir tree: from me your fruit is found. 9 Who is wise, and discerns these? Discerns, and knows them? For straight are the ways of Yah Veh and the just walk therein: and the rebels falter therein.
