EJ2000(i) 7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed, and he divided the people that were with him, and the sheep and the cows and the camels, into two bands 8 and said, If Esau comes to the one company and smites it, then the other company which is left shall escape. 9 ¶ And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the LORD who said unto me, Return unto thy country and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee. 10 I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which thou hast showed unto thy slave; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan and now I am become two bands. 11 Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him lest he come and smite me and the mother with the children.
CAB(i) 7 And Jacob was greatly terrified, and was perplexed; and he divided the people that was with him, and the cows, and the camels, and the sheep, into two camps. 8 And Jacob said, If Esau should come to one camp and strike it, the other camp shall be in safety. 9 And Jacob said, God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, O Lord, You are He that said to me, Depart quickly to the land of your birth, and I will do you good. 10 Let there be to me a sufficiency of all the justice and all the truth which You have wrought with Your servant; for with this my staff I passed over this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. 11 Deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I am afraid of him, lest haply he should come and attack me, and the mother with the children.
LXX2012(i) 7 And Jacob was greatly terrified, and was perplexed; and he divided the people that was with him, and the cows, and the camels, and the sheep, into two camps. 8 And Jacob said, If Esau should come to one camp, and strike it, the other camp shall be in safety. 9 And Jacob said, God of my father Abraam, and God of my father Isaac, O Lord, you [are] he that said to me, Depart quickly to the land of your birth, and I will do you good. 10 Let there be to me a sufficiency of all the justice and all the truth which you have wrought with your servant; for with this my staff I passed over this Jordan, and now I am become two camps. 11 Deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I am afraid of him, lest haply he should come and strike me, and the mother upon the children.
NSB(i) 7 Jacob was frightened and worried. He divided the people who were with him into two groups. He also divided his sheep, goats, cattle, and camels. 8 He thought: »If Esau comes and attacks the first group, the other may be able to escape.« 9 Then Jacob prayed: »O God of my father Abraham, the God of my father Isaac, O Jehovah, you said to me: ‘Go back to your country and your family and I will be good to you.’ 10 »I am less than nothing in comparison with all your love and your faithfulness to me your servant. I only had a stick in my hand when I traveled across Jordan. Now I have become two armies. 11 »Save me from the hand of Esau, my brother. I fear that he will attack me and kill both mothers and children.
ISV(i) 7 Feeling mounting terror and distress, Jacob divided the people who were with him into two groups, doing the same with the flocks, the cattle, and the camels. 8 Jacob was thinking, “If Esau comes to one group and attacks it, then the remaining group may escape.”
9 Then Jacob prayed, “O God of my father Abraham, O God of my father Isaac, O LORD, you who told me, ‘Return to your country and to your relatives and I’ll cause things to go well for you.’ 10 I’m unworthy of all your gracious love, your faithfulness, and everything that you’ve done for your servant. When I first crossed over this river, I had only my staff. But now I’ve become two groups. 11 Deliver me from my brother Esau’s control, because I’m terrified of him, and I’m afraid that he’s coming to attack me, the mothers, and their children.
LEB(i) 7 Then Jacob was very frightened and distressed. So he divided the people, flocks, cattle, and camels that were with him into two companies. 8 And he thought, "If Esau comes to one company and destroys it, the remaining company will be able to escape." 9 Then Jacob said, "O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, O Yahweh, who said to me, 'Return to your land and to your family, and I will deal well with you.' 10 I am not worthy* of all the loyal love and all the faithfulness that you have shown* your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. 11 Please rescue me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him, lest he come and attack mother and children alike.
BSB(i) 7 In great fear and distress, Jacob divided his people into two camps, as well as the flocks and herds and camels. 8 He thought, “If Esau comes and attacks one camp, then the other camp can escape.” 9 Then Jacob declared, “O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, the LORD who told me, ‘Go back to your country and to your kindred, and I will make you prosper,’ 10 I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness You have shown Your servant. Indeed, with only my staff I came across the Jordan, but now I have become two camps. 11 Please deliver me from the hand of my brother Esau, for I am afraid that he may come and attack me and the mothers and children with me.
MSB(i) 7 In great fear and distress, Jacob divided his people into two camps, as well as the flocks and herds and camels. MLV(i) 7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and was distressed. And he divided the people that were with him and the flocks and the herds and the camels, into two companies. 8 And he said, If Esau comes to the one company and slays it, then the company which is left will escape.
9 And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Jehovah, who said to me, Return to your country and to your kindred and I will do good things with you, 10 I am not worthy of the least of all the loving kindnesses and of all the truth, which you have shown to your servant, because with my staff I passed over this Jordan and now I have become two companies.
11 I beseech you, deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau. For I fear him, lest he comes and slays me, the mother with the sons.

Estonian(i) 7 Käskjalad tulid tagasi Jaakobi juurde ja ütlesid: „Me jõudsime su venna Eesavi juurde.
