Kings 7

KJV_Strongs(i)
H8010 But Solomon H1129 was building [H8804]   H1004 his own house H7969 thirteen H6240   H8141 years H3615 , and he finished [H8762]   H1004 all his house.
H1129 He built [H8799]   H1004 also the house H3293 of the forest H3844 of Lebanon H753 ; the length H3967 thereof was an hundred H520 cubits H7341 , and the breadth H2572 thereof fifty H520 cubits H6967 , and the height H7970 thereof thirty H520 cubits H702 , upon four H2905 rows H730 of cedar H5982 pillars H730 , with cedar H3773 beams H5982 upon the pillars.
H5603 And it was covered [H8803]   H730 with cedar H4605 above H6763 upon the beams H705 , that lay on forty H2568 five H5982 pillars H6240 , fifteen H2905 in a row.
H8261 And there were windows H7969 in three H2905 rows H4237 , and light H4237 was against light H7969 in three H6471 ranks.
H6607 And all the doors H4201 and posts H7251 were square [H8803]   H8260 , with the windows H4237 : and light H4136 was against H4237 light H7969 in three H6471 ranks.
H6213 And he made [H8804]   H197 a porch H5982 of pillars H753 ; the length H2572 thereof was fifty H520 cubits H7341 , and the breadth H7970 thereof thirty H520 cubits H197 : and the porch H6440 was before H5982 them: and the other pillars H5646 and the thick beam were before them.
H6213 Then he made [H8804]   H197 a porch H3678 for the throne H8199 where he might judge [H8799]   H197 , even the porch H4941 of judgment H5603 : and it was covered [H8803]   H730 with cedar H7172 from one side of the floor H7172 to the other.
H1004 And his house H3427 where he dwelt [H8799]   H312 had another H2691 court H1004 within H197 the porch H4639 , which was of the like work H8010 . Solomon H6213 made [H8799]   H1004 also an house H6547 for Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H3947 , whom he had taken [H8804]   H197 to wife, like unto this porch.
H3368 All these were of costly H68 stones H4060 , according to the measures H1496 of hewed stones H1641 , sawed [H8775]   H4050 with saws H1004 , within H2351 and without H4527 , even from the foundation H2947 unto the coping H2351 , and so on the outside H1419 toward the great H2691 court.
H3245 And the foundation [H8794]   H3368 was of costly H68 stones H1419 , even great H68 stones H68 , stones H6235 of ten H520 cubits H68 , and stones H8083 of eight H520 cubits.
H4605 And above H3368 were costly H68 stones H4060 , after the measures H1496 of hewed stones H730 , and cedars.
H1419 And the great H2691 court H5439 round about H7969 was with three H2905 rows H1496 of hewed stones H2905 , and a row H730 of cedar H3773 beams H6442 , both for the inner H2691 court H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD H197 , and for the porch H1004 of the house.
H4428 And king H8010 Solomon H7971 sent [H8799]   H3947 and fetched [H8799]   H2438 Hiram H6865 out of Tyre.
H802 He was a widow's H490   H1121 son H4294 of the tribe H5321 of Naphtali H1 , and his father H376 was a man H6876 of Tyre H2790 , a worker [H8802]   H5178 in brass H4390 : and he was filled [H8735]   H2451 with wisdom H8394 , and understanding H1847 , and cunning H6213 to work [H8800]   H4399 all works H5178 in brass H935 . And he came [H8799]   H4428 to king H8010 Solomon H6213 , and wrought [H8799]   H4399 all his work.
H6696 For he cast [H8799]   H8147 two H5982 pillars H5178 of brass H8083 , of eighteen H6240   H520 cubits H6967 high H5982 apiece H259   H2339 : and a line H8147 of twelve H6240   H520 cubits H5437 did compass H8145 either H5437 of them about [H8799]  .
H6213 And he made [H8804]   H8147 two H3805 chapiters H3332 of molten [H8716]   H5178 brass H5414 , to set [H8800]   H7218 upon the tops H5982 of the pillars H6967 : the height H259 of the one H3805 chapiter H2568 was five H520 cubits H6967 , and the height H8145 of the other H3805 chapiter H2568 was five H520 cubits:
H7638 And nets H7639 of checker H4639 work H1434 , and wreaths H8333 of chain H4639 work H3805 , for the chapiters H7218 which were upon the top H5982 of the pillars H7651 ; seven H259 for the one H3805 chapiter H7651 , and seven H8145 for the other H3805 chapiter.
H6213 And he made [H8799]   H5982 the pillars H8147 , and two H2905 rows H5439 round about H259 upon the one H7639 network H3680 , to cover [H8763]   H3805 the chapiters H7218 that were upon the top H7416 , with pomegranates H6213 : and so did [H8804]   H8145 he for the other H3805 chapiter.
H3805 And the chapiters H7218 that were upon the top H5982 of the pillars H7799 were of lily H4639 work H197 in the porch H702 , four H520 cubits.
H3805 And the chapiters H8147 upon the two H5982 pillars H4605 had pomegranates also above H5980 , over against H990 the belly H5676 which was by H7639 the network H7416 : and the pomegranates H3967 were two hundred H2905 in rows H5439 round about H8145 upon the other H3805 chapiter.
H6965 And he set up [H8686]   H5982 the pillars H197 in the porch H1964 of the temple H6965 : and he set up [H8686]   H3233 the right H5982 pillar H7121 , and called [H8799]   H8034 the name H3199 thereof Jachin H6965 : and he set up [H8686]   H8042 the left H5982 pillar H7121 , and called [H8799]   H8034 the name H1162 thereof Boaz.
H7218 And upon the top H5982 of the pillars H7799 was lily H4639 work H4399 : so was the work H5982 of the pillars H8552 finished [H8799]  .
H6213 And he made [H8799]   H3332 a molten [H8716]   H3220 sea H6235 , ten H520 cubits H8193 from the one brim H8193 to the other H5696 : it was round H5439 all about H6967 , and his height H2568 was five H520 cubits H6957 : and a line [H8675]   H6961   H7970 of thirty H520 cubits H5437 did compass [H8799]   H5439 it round about.
H8193 And under the brim H5439 of it round about H6497 there were knops H5437 compassing [H8802]   H6235 it, ten H520 in a cubit H5362 , compassing [H8688]   H3220 the sea H5439 round about H6497 : the knops H3333 were cast H8147 in two H2905 rows H3332 , when it was cast [H8803]  .
H5975 It stood [H8802]   H8147 upon twelve H6240   H1241 oxen H7969 , three H6437 looking [H8802]   H6828 toward the north H7969 , and three H6437 looking [H8802]   H3220 toward the west H7969 , and three H6437 looking [H8802]   H5045 toward the south H7969 , and three H6437 looking [H8802]   H4217 toward the east H3220 : and the sea H4605 was set above H268 upon them, and all their hinder parts H1004 were inward.
H2947 And it was an hand breadth H5672 thick H8193 , and the brim H4639 thereof was wrought H8193 like the brim H3563 of a cup H6525 , with flowers H7799 of lilies H3557 : it contained [H8686]   H505 two thousand H1324 baths.
H6213 And he made [H8799]   H6235 ten H4350 bases H5178 of brass H702 ; four H520 cubits H753 was the length H259 of one H4350 base H702 , and four H520 cubits H7341 the breadth H7969 thereof, and three H520 cubits H6967 the height of it.
H4639 And the work H4350 of the bases H4526 was on this manner : they had borders H4526 , and the borders H7948 were between the ledges:
H4526 And on the borders H7948 that were between the ledges H738 were lions H1241 , oxen H3742 , and cherubims H7948 : and upon the ledges H3653 there was a base H4605 above H738 : and beneath the lions H1241 and oxen H3914 were certain additions H4174 made of thin H4639 work.
H259 And every H4350 base H702 had four H5178 brasen H212 wheels H5633 , and plates H5178 of brass H702 : and the four H6471 corners H3802 thereof had undersetters H3595 : under the laver H3802 were undersetters H3332 molten [H8803]   H5676 , at the side H376 of every H3914 addition.
H6310 And the mouth H1004 of it within H3805 the chapiter H4605 and above H520 was a cubit H6310 : but the mouth H5696 thereof was round H4639 after the work H3653 of the base H520 , a cubit H2677 and an half H6310 : and also upon the mouth H4734 of it were gravings H4526 with their borders H7251 , foursquare [H8794]   H5696 , not round.
H8478 And under H4526 the borders H702 were four H212 wheels H3027 ; and the axletrees H212 of the wheels H4350 were joined to the base H6967 : and the height H259 of a H212 wheel H520 was a cubit H2677 and half H520 a cubit.
H4639 And the work H212 of the wheels H4639 was like the work H4818 of a chariot H212 wheel H3027 : their axletrees H1354 , and their naves H2839 , and their felloes H2840 , and their spokes H3332 , were all molten [H8716]  .
H702 And there were four H3802 undersetters H702 to the four H6438 corners H259 of one H4350 base H3802 : and the undersetters H4350 were of the very base itself.
H7218 And in the top H4350 of the base H5696 was there a round H5439 compass H2677 of half H520 a cubit H6967 high H7218 : and on the top H4350 of the base H3027 the ledges H4526 thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.
H3871 For on the plates H3027 of the ledges H4526 thereof, and on the borders H6605 thereof, he graved [H8762]   H3742 cherubims H738 , lions H8561 , and palm trees H4626 , according to the proportion H376 of every one H3914 , and additions H5439 round about.
H6213 After this manner he made [H8804]   H6235 the ten H4350 bases H259 : all of them had one H4165 casting H259 , one H4060 measure H259 , and one H7095 size.
H6213 Then made [H8799]   H6235 he ten H3595 lavers H5178 of brass H259 : one H3595 laver H3557 contained [H8686]   H705 forty H1324 baths H259 : and every H3595 laver H702 was four H520 cubits H259 : and upon every one H6235 of the ten H4350 bases H259 one H3595 laver.
H5414 And he put [H8799]   H2568 five H4350 bases H3225 on the right H3802 side H1004 of the house H2568 , and five H8040 on the left H3802 side H1004 of the house H5414 : and he set [H8804]   H3220 the sea H3233 on the right H3802 side H1004 of the house H6924 eastward H4136 over against H5045 the south.
H2438 And Hiram H6213 made [H8799]   H3595 the lavers H3257 , and the shovels H4219 , and the basons H2438 . So Hiram H3615 made [H8762]   H6213 an end of doing [H8800]   H4399 all the work H6213 that he made [H8804]   H4428 king H8010 Solomon H1004 for the house H3068 of the LORD:
H8147 The two H5982 pillars H1543 , and the two bowls H3805 of the chapiters H7218 that were on the top H8147 of the two H5982 pillars H8147 ; and the two H7639 networks H3680 , to cover [H8763]   H8147 the two H1543 bowls H3805 of the chapiters H7218 which were upon the top H5982 of the pillars;
H702 And four H3967 hundred H7416 pomegranates H8147 for the two H7639 networks H8147 , even two H2905 rows H7416 of pomegranates H259 for one H7639 network H3680 , to cover [H8763]   H8147 the two H1543 bowls H3805 of the chapiters H6440 that were upon H5982 the pillars;
H6235 And the ten H4350 bases H6235 , and ten H3595 lavers H4350 on the bases;
H259 And one H3220 sea H8147 , and twelve H6240   H1241 oxen H3220 under the sea;
H5518 And the pots H3257 , and the shovels H4219 , and the basons H3627 : and all these vessels H2438 , which Hiram H6213 made [H8804]   H4428 to king H8010 Solomon H1004 for the house H3068 of the LORD H4178 , were of bright [H8794]   H5178 brass.
H3603 In the plain H3383 of Jordan H4428 did the king H3332 cast [H8804]   H4568 them, in the clay H127 ground H5523 between Succoth H6891 and Zarthan.
H8010 And Solomon H3240 left [H8686]   H3627 all the vessels H3966 unweighed, because they were exceeding H3966   H7230 many H4948 : neither was the weight H5178 of the brass H2713 found out [H8738]  .
H8010 And Solomon H6213 made [H8799]   H3627 all the vessels H1004 that pertained unto the house H3068 of the LORD H4196 : the altar H2091 of gold H7979 , and the table H2091 of gold H3899 , whereupon the shewbread H6440   was,
H4501 And the candlesticks H5462 of pure [H8803]   H2091 gold H2568 , five H3225 on the right H2568 side, and five H8040 on the left H6440 , before H1687 the oracle H6525 , with the flowers H5216 , and the lamps H4457 , and the tongs H2091 of gold,
H5592 And the bowls H4212 , and the snuffers H4219 , and the basons H3709 , and the spoons H4289 , and the censers H5462 of pure [H8803]   H2091 gold H6596 ; and the hinges H2091 of gold H1817 , both for the doors H6442 of the inner H1004 house H6944 , the most H6944 holy H1817 place, and for the doors H1004 of the house H1964 , to wit, of the temple.
H7999 So was ended [H8799]   H4399 all the work H4428 that king H8010 Solomon H6213 made [H8804]   H1004 for the house H3068 of the LORD H8010 . And Solomon H935 brought in [H8686]   H1732 the things which David H1 his father H6944 had dedicated H3701 ; even the silver H2091 , and the gold H3627 , and the vessels H5414 , did he put [H8804]   H214 among the treasures H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD.
ERV(i) 1 And Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house. 2 For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars. 3 And it was covered with cedar above over the forty and five beams, that were upon the pillars; fifteen in a row. 4 And there were prospects in three rows, and light was over against light in three ranks. 5 And all the doors and posts were square in prospect: and light was over against light in three ranks. 6 And he made the porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits; and a porch before them; and pillars and thick beams before them. 7 And he made the porch of the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor. 8 And his house where he might dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the like work. He made also an house for Pharaoh’s daughter, (whom Solomon had taken to wife,) like unto this porch. 9 All these were of costly stones, even of hewn stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside unto the great court. 10 And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits. 11 And above were costly stones, even hewn stone, according to measure, and cedar wood. 12 And the great court round about had three rows of hewn stone, and a row of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of the LORD, and the porch of the house. 13 And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre. 14 He was the son of a widow woman of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and cunning, to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work. 15 For he fashioned the two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits compassed either of them about. 16 And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits. 17 There were nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter. 18 So he made the pillars; and there were two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars: and so did he for the other chapiter. 19 And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, four cubits. 20 And there were chapiters above also upon the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows round about upon the other chapiter. 21 And he set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz. 22 And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished. 23 And he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and the height thereof was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits compassed it round about. 24 And under the brim of it round about there were knops which did compass it, for ten cubits, compassing the sea round about: the knops were in two rows, cast when it was cast. 25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set upon them above, and all their hinder parts were inward. 26 And it was an handbreadth thick; and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths. 27 And he made the ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it. 28 And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders; and there were borders between the ledges: 29 and on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the ledges there was a pedestal above: and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work. 30 And every base had four brasen wheels, and axles of brass: and the four feet thereof had undersetters: beneath the laver were the undersetters molten, with wreaths at the side of each. 31 And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: and the mouth thereof was round after the work of a pedestal, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings, and their borders were foursquare, not round. 32 And the four wheels were underneath the borders; and the axletrees of the wheels were in the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit. 33 And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their felloes, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten. 34 And there were four undersetters at the four corners of each base: the undersetters thereof were of the base itself. 35 And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the stays thereof and the borders thereof were of the same. 36 And on the plates of the stays thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubim, lions, and palm tress, according to the space of each, with wreaths round about. 37 After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form. 38 And he made ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver. 39 And he set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south. 40 And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he wrought for king Solomon in the house of the LORD: 41 the two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the pillars; 42 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars; 43 and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases; 44 and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea; 45 and the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of the LORD, were of burnished brass. 46 In the Plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan. 47 And Solomon left all the vessels [unweighed], because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out. 48 And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of the LORD: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the shewbread was, of gold; 49 and the candlesticks, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold; 50 and the cups, and the snuffers, and basons, and the spoons, and the firepans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, [to wit], of the temple, of gold. 51 Thus all the work that king Solomon wrought in the house of the LORD was finished. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, [even] the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of the LORD.
